So this is just me making a shameless hc, with my shameless hand addiction, fueling my shamelessness, as I shamefully self insert myself in these things I wrote... Forgive me for my shamelessness.... Also, pardon me for my annoying commentary and emojis. I simply do not know how to control my excitement and my feelings so😔👊

-Bebek has PRETTY NAILS UGHHH! He most likely trims and takes care of it every week! Not the best nails, BUT VERY NEAT!😳

-Bebek is a highkey fanboy of malleus, so he trains everyday to protecc his God and saviour Malmal. Naturally, he'll have calloused and rough hands... BUT DO NOT FRET MY CHILDREN! It is not that noticable which shookt me. His hands are a bit roughed up, welp can't help it, he's a man with mang jobs after all. (Yes, I call him bebek because sebek is babey🥺)

-Sebek is a child so he won't really initiate first on holding hands. BUT WHEN YOU DO! OH BOI!😏

-Sebek has this transparent look to his skin... Almost ghostly per say. BUT WHEN YOU HOLD HIS HANDS... Sebek is not used to this interaction so expect a tomato in front of you... Sebek's face is flushed red reaching down to his neck, and the fun part is, even his hands are blushy blushy😏😏😏😏

-After the first time the both of you held hands. Sebek will crave for it A LOT! Expect him to randomly start akwardly making way to you hands and play with it while the both of you are just chilling. Akward..... Sebek.exe will stop working when you look at him confuse, in which he'll get flustered, and ask if he can hold your hands. ADORKABLE!

-It would take him some time trying to calm himself down, all flushed and red embarrased from asking to hold hands.

rooftop cafe date with seonghwa

okay u realllyyyyyy wanna go to the rooftop cafe before it starts getting too cold outside at night

but seonghwa being afraid of heights realllyyyyy does Not want to do that .

alas , he is indeed a simp so with some convincing and some promises of certain uhhhhh ummmmm . events to occur afterwards .. he agreed

in order to get him to go you had to get a table towards the middle

going up the stairs you could tell he was a bit nervous

once you guy got to the roof tho , his grip on your hand loosened

"oh ... wow"

"see" u pressed your body to his side and wrapped yourself around his arm "told you it was pretty"

you guys got a seat almost perfectly in the middle of the rooftop

once the hostess left you both alone to go over the menu , you took his hand and stroked ur thumb over the top of it

Author's Note: MY GUYYYYS. IT'S FINALLY FINISHED. I've been working on this ever since @galcalirwin and I went to the beach last month. And it's finally done. A lot of slowburn. A l o t. Oops. I really hope you all like this. I worked hard on it 😩 also this basic ass title tho lmfao

You look out at the ocean, admiring the silence of the now-empty beach as the day slowly becomes night. A sigh leaves your lips as you step onto the sand, feeling it squish under your feet. You walk up to the shore before taking a seat in the sand, the water just reaching your toes.

You tuck a strand of hair behind your ear as you slowly try to forget about the events that happened tonight. You rest your arms atop of your knees, watching the waves crash on the shore.

Ashton leaves his house with his board pressed to his hip, his hazel eyes finding you sitting on the empty beach. He furrows his eyebrows, confused to see another person on the beach that's always empty at night. The black-haired man walks closer to you and takes a glance back as he makes his way into the water.

You jump as a man walks past you, not hearing him at all. You press your hand to your chest, feeling your heart pounding. You watch as he gives you a small smile while walking into the ocean, surfboard in hand.

Neither of you said anything as he swam out farther, being intrigued by this cute man that apparently surfs at eight pm. You softly bite your lip, fumbling with your fingers as you continue to watch him. You glance back towards the house you were staying in and see everyone on the back patio, having a good time.

When you glance back towards the ocean the mysterious man is nowhere to be found. Your eyes widen and you stand up quickly, your heart pounding in your chest as you begin to worry. You take a couple of steps into the water when the man surfaces from the water.

A breath of relief leaves your lips as you take a few steps back, slowly lowering yourself back onto the sand. "Y/N! Come on, love," yells one of the guys who's been overly flirting with you all night.

"Just a minute," you call back, not ready to leave the serenity you're in. You glance back to see everyone walking inside while you draw random shapes on your knees.

"Are you new here?" A voice asks and you jump, placing both your hands in the sand as your eyes dart up to the black-haired stranger in front of you. Giggles leave his lips while ruffling his wet locks, setting the surfboard on the ground.

"I-Yeah, kinda," you answer him and you push yourself off the ground. "I'm Y/N, which you might've heard just a bit ago."

The man grins and nods his head before holding his hand out to you. "Ashton," he introduces and you smile at him, taking his hand in yours. You shake it gently before clasping your hands together, feeling a bit nervous.

"Do you usually go surfing at night?" You ask him, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear as the wind begins to pick up.

He smiles down at me and glances towards the semi-large waves crashing. "Yeah, it's more peaceful than doing it during the day and I hate getting up early," Ashton tells you and you chuckle softly, nodding your head.

"Makes sense. I also hate getting up early. Definitely a night owl," you mention and Ashton picks his surfboard up from the ground. "I-Do you think you'll be here tomorrow night? I'd like to chat again if you're down for it…"

"Yeah, I definitely want to chat again," he smiles at you and you couldn't help but feel butterflies soar around in your stomach, smiling back at him. "I'll see you tomorrow, Y/N."

"See you, Ashton," you mumble and watch him walk away and he glances back at you once more before you decide to head back to the house. You smile to yourself the entire time as you quietly step into the giant place, hearing the voices of your friends coming from the other room.

Your best friend walks into the kitchen as you toss a couple of pieces of popcorn in your mouth. You give her a small smile as she hops up onto the counter, a smirk on her lips. "Who was the boy?" She asks and you scoff, chuckling a bit.

"Just a guy who lives nearby. Apparently he surfs at night," you inform her and she nods her head.

"Was he cute?" She questions while wiggling her eyebrows and you roll your eyes at her.

You grab some more popcorn, shoving it into your mouth, and nod your head. "From what I could see, yeah, he was cute," you mention and move to the fridge to grab a drink.

"Y/N! There you are. Where have you been?" Derek, the guy who's been trying too hard, asks and wraps an arm around your shoulder.

You shift away from him, your eyes pleading towards Jess. "Outside," you mutter coldly while taking a drink from the water bottle.

"Would you, maybe, wanna come to my room?" He whispers into your ear and you shudder uncomfortably, moving away from him completely.

"I'm good. I'm heading to bed," you tell Jess and she smiles softly at you while nodding her head.

You walk up the stairs and head straight into the room you were staying in, which includes a balcony. You run your hands over your face, beginning to think it was a mistake to come in the first place. You quickly change into your pajamas before heading out on the balcony, hearing the ocean waves. This is my happy place though… You think to yourself as you sit down on the cute hammock.

"What a coincidence!" A familiar voice calls out and you snap your head to the left, seeing Ashton leaning against his balcony rails. "Hey."

You let out a laugh and get up from the hammock, heading towards the set of seats. "Hey, what a coincidence indeed," you grin and lean on the cool metal rail.

"You okay?" He asks and you nod your head slowly. Ashton furrows his brows together, watching you run a hand through your hair. "You sure about that?"

You glance back towards him, seeing the concerned look on his face and you let out a sigh. "I'm alright. There's this… guy who tagged along on this vacation with us and he doesn't know when to stop trying to get with me. He's been trying the past day and a half," you pause and turn your head towards the ocean, "that's why I was sitting out there tonight. To get away from him because it just became too much."

Ashton clears his throat and you glance back towards him, a saddened expression on his face. "I'm sorry you have to deal with that. Guys can be… disgusting sometimes," he states and you nod your head in agreement.

"You don't seem disgusting though," you trail off and bite your lip, seeing a slight smile come to the man's lips.

"Yeah, I would say I'm not disgusting but everyone has their own opinion," he chuckles and you giggle as well, resting the palm of your hand against the side of your head.

"Well, you're definitely intriguing Mr. I Surf At Night," you joke, and Ashton laughs a bit harder when the door to your balcony opens up.

You quickly turn to see who came outside and let out a breath of relief to see it was Jess. "I thought I heard talking," she grins and walks towards you, resting her hand on your shoulder. "Who's this?"

"Jess, this is Ashton," you introduce while chuckling, glancing back towards the black-haired man. "Ashton, this is my best friend, Jess."

He gives her a wave and a smile before running a hand through his hair. "Oh! So you're surfer-boy??" Jess asks and brings her eyes to you and a blush covers your cheeks.

"Surfer-boy, huh? Not even a couple of hours and you're already talking about me?" Ashton laughs and you let out a groan, rolling your head back.

"Okay, to be fair, I just didn't mention your name to her," you defend yourself and tuck a strand of hair behind your ear. "And if you'll excuse me, Ash, I'm going to head inside… to save me from embarrassment."

You got up from the seat, grabbing Jess’s wrist and begin to head back into the room. "See you tomorrow!" He calls out and you couldn't help but smile, biting your lip afterward.

"Y'all are adorable," Jess mentions and you roll your eyes at her.

"Jess, we literally just met," you laugh while climbing onto the queen-sized bed. "There hasn't been enough time for us to be adorable yet."

She grins, shrugging her shoulders while leaning against the frame of the door. "People can be adorable from the start. You and Ashton are a prime example. I mean, he's definitely better than Derek," your best friend tells you and you immediately agree with her.

"See, I won't argue with you there."

Jess lets out a chuckle and pushes herself off the doorway. "Alright, well, I'll let you get some sleep," she mumbles and flips the switch to your room off. "Do me a favor and snatch that boy up, okay?"

You let out a loud laugh at her request and shake your head. "I'll try."

You, Jess, and two of your other friends are currently sitting in the sand as Calum and Luke decided to try and take on the waves. You squeeze some tanning lotion onto your hand before rubbing it along your legs.

"Need some help with that?" Derek asks and you already know the boy has a smirk on his lips without even having to look at him.

"No, Derek, I'm fine," you bluntly say and resist the urge to roll your eyes. He mumbles incoherently while moving to sit beside one of your other girlfriends. You continue to lather yourself in tanning lotion when the sound of a surfboard flopping into the sand startled you.

You glance up, covering your eyes with your hand to see Ashton standing beside you. A grin appears on both of your lips as he sits down beside you for a moment. "Hey, Y/N," he greets.

"Hey, Ash," you smile while tossing the suntan lotion into the beach bag Jess brought. You eye his surfboard and the wetsuit clinging to his body. "I thought you only surfed at night?"

Ashton chuckles at your joke, running a hand through his hair. "I usually do, but I've been eyeing these waves since I got up a couple of hours ago," he mentions and you let out an elongated oh. The black-haired man points out towards Calum and Luke who were currently sitting on their boards, waiting for the right time to go. "Are those two of your friends?"

"Yeah. Luke is Jess’s boyfriend and Calum's a childhood friend. They've been surfing together for years," you inform him and he nods his head along with your words.

Derek stares you down as you casually talk to Ashton, a scowl on his face. "Who's this guy?" He asks Jess and the red-head turns her head towards the two of you.

"Oh, that's Ashton. She met him last night," she casually tells him before looking back out towards her boyfriend.

Ashton was in the middle of telling you a story of this massive wave he managed to surf without killing himself when a shadow blocks the sun. Both you and Ash glance to your left to see Derek standing there with his arms crossed over his chest.

"Who's this?" He asks you demandingly and you tilt your head at him, wondering how he has the audacity to speak to you like that.

"This is Ashton. Not like it's any of your business," you tell the blonde and he lets out a huff of air. "Ashton this is Derek."

Ashton lets out an, "ah," while giving him a tight-lipped grin. "Well, I'm gonna hit the waves. I'll talk to you later?"

You smile at Ash as he stands up from the sand, grabbing his surfboard. "Yeah, definitely. Don't get hurt out there," you chuckle and he lets out a giggle of his own.

"If I do, will you come to save me?" He questions flirtatiously and you could feel your cheeks heat up.

"Maybe," you answer while digging your fingers into the sand, feeling the butterflies in your stomach again.

Ashton smiles down at you before trekking out further into the ocean. You let out a huge huff of breath, placing your hand over your chest as your heart beats rapidly.

"Really? This guy? I thought we had a thing," Derek goes off and you look at him with a glare in your eyes.

"Excuse me? We never had a thing. If your head wasn't so far up your ass you would see that you make me very uncomfortable," you tell and stand up from your spot.

He scoffs and crosses his arms, rolling his eyes at you. "Whatever. You're a fuckin' prude anyway," Derek spits and you laugh loudly, shaking your head at his immature behavior.

"Mhm, sure. Tell yourself that buddy," you mutter bitterly before walking away from the group, feeling yourself getting furious.

Your eyes were glued to Ash as he surfs a pretty big wave. You practically sit in the water, letting out a large sigh as this trip is getting more and more problematic. You rest the palms of your hands against your cheeks as Luke and Calum exchange a few words with Ashton.

You smile softly as the three seem to get along, leaning your hands back as the sun beats down on you. The cool water of the ocean keeps you at bay as its really fucking hot out today. Your eyes meet Ashton's and he smiles at you while riding the wave in, coming straight towards you.

"It's nice to actually see you surf," you tease him and he rolls his eyes playfully.

"Ha-ha!" Ashton sarcastically laughs and undoes his wetsuit, exposing just his torso. Oh… fuck… He sits down beside you, running his fingers through his damp hair. "Have you ever thought about learning to surf?"

Your eyes widen at his question and immediately shake your head. "Oh, no, no, no," you giggle while waving your hand. "I have no balance and I'm not really fond of the ocean."

"What if I was there the whole time?" He asks and you look over at him, seeing the slight pleading look in his hazel eyes.

You bite your lip and look up at him through your lashes. "If this is a ploy to hang out with me more you can just ask," you smile softly while placing a hand on his. "You don't need to offer a girl who would never ever want to go further than waist-deep into the ocean surfing lessons just to hang out with her."

A blush covers Ashton's cheeks as he nods his head, eyes panning down to the sand between us. "What if it was also an excuse to be really close to you," he whispers and a breath hitches in your throat. "We've known each other for what? Twelve hours or so? Yet, I can't seem to get myself to stay away from you."

You can feel your cheeks heat up and a shiver runs down your spine at his words. "Fuck… Ash, I-" you pause as you are at loss for words. "I feel the same way. I'm so… comfortable around you for someone I just met."

Ashton smiles down at you and a smile graces your lips as well, your eyes locking. His slender fingers brush against yours in the sand when a hard object strikes your back. A gasp leaves your lips as a searing pain lingers on your upper back.

"Fuck," you whimper as Ashton's hand finds itself on your forearm.

"Holy shit. Are you okay?" He asks and moves to sit on his knees, checking on your back.

You shake your head as you can feel the tears pooling in your eyes. The black-haired man gently strokes his fingertips across the middle of your back and you let out a wince.

"The football didn't break your skin open at least," he states and you move some hair from your face. You glance over your shoulder, seeing Derek and some other kid laughing about while looking in your direction.

You pick yourself up off the sand, wiping the excess dirt off as you blink rapidly. "I'm gonna head back," you clear your throat and Ashton looks up at you as he's still on his knees. "I'll talk to you later, Ash."

You quickly grab your stuff and make your way back to the beach house. Ashton watches you with a concerned expression on his face and then glances towards your group of friends.

He gets up from the sand and grabs his board before heading over to them. "Jess?" The black-haired man calls out and they all turn their heads towards him.

"Yeah?" She answers, giving him a friendly smile as Derek glares at him.

"Why the fuck are you even over here?" Derek mentions while taking a step towards Ashton.

Ashton looks down at him, rolling his eyes a bit before returning his attention to Jess. "Can I talk to you for a minute? In private?" He asks and Jess nods her head when Derek intervenes once more.

"Bro, she's dating someone. How about you stop trying to go after girls who are seeing someone," he spits and puts a hand on Ashton's chest, pushing him slightly.

"Bro, last time I checked…" Ash trails off, pushing Derek back as he glares. "Y/N was single and not interested in you. So, why don't you stop putting on a show in front of your friends and back the fuck off."

A couple of the friends stifle a laugh as Ashton gently grabs Jess’s wrist and leads her away from the group. "Yo! That was incredible," she exclaims with a large smile on her face, glancing back at Derek to see him practically fuming.

"Is he always like this? What's his deal?" Ashton asks while scratching his chin. "He threw a football at Y/N and hit her… pretty hard."

Jess’s smile leaves her face immediately at the mention of her friend, a gasp leaving her lips. "What?! Is she okay? Where is she?!" She asks and looks around for you, not knowing you already walked back to the house.

"She's alright. In a bit of pain, but the football didn't break her skin open. Mostly just a bruise, but still. Who the fuck does he think he is to just throw a football at a girl?" Ashton questions with a glare in his eyes.

"He's jealous," the red-head answers and looks up at him. "He's been trying to get with Y/N for years and she's not into him, at all. Apparently Derek can't see that so he keeps on trying. Ever since he saw you two talking earlier, noticing how close you are and how happy she actually looks he's been pissed. That doesn't give him the audacity to fucking hit her though."

Ashton tales a glance towards Derek as he was twirling one of the other girl's hair. "Why do you guys even hang out with him?" He asks Jess and she lets out a sigh, shrugging her shoulders.

"I dunno. He's my boyfriend's friend. Y/N and I only really hang out with him and Calum," she explains and the black-haired man nods his head in understanding. "I'm gonna go check on her. I'll see you later, Ash. I'll let you know how she's doing."

Jess gives him a smile before walking away from him. A huff of breath comes from his nose and grabs his stuff, making his way back to his place.

It's been almost four days since you've seen or spoke to Ashton and you'd be lying if you said you didn't miss him. You really adored him. He was nice and obviously cute as hell. The two of you also got along very well.

Your group of friends has been gone for almost two hours to get shit for the party Luke and Calum are throwing tonight. You weren't really feeling up to tagging along so you stayed at the house. You sat on the balcony for a little over an hour, hoping that Ashton would've seen you but nope.

You're searching through your clothes when someone knocks on your door. You lift your head up to see Jess poking her head into the room, giving you a smile.

"Hey," she comes into the room and closes the door behind her. "You know what you're wearing tonight?"

"No fucking idea," you state with a laugh and tucks a strand of hair behind your ear.

Jess hops up onto the desk in your room, swinging her feet. "Did you hear that Ashton's coming tonight?" She asks and your head snaps towards her, your eyes wide.

"W-What?! No! No one told me. I-"

"Yeah, apparently Luke invited him when he went surfing this morning," she mentions with a shrug and you blink a few times, not saying anything.

"Wait, Ashton was surfing this morning?" You ask and Jess lets out a loud laugh.

"Is that really all you heard?" She asks and you shake your head.

You look towards your closet, letting out a sigh before looking through your clothes again. "No, I heard all of it. Doesn't help my nerves but, ya know," you chuckle and pulls out a classic sundress. "How would this look?"

"You would look fucking breathtaking! Ashton would love it," she grins and hops off of the desk and you roll your eyes at her.

"I'm not wearing it to impress him," you lie, swallowing hard and Jess gives you a look. A look that says she can see right through you.

"Mhm, sure. You tell yourself that. Hurry up. Everyone should be here soon."

The party really took off. Apparently Derek invited a bunch of random fucking people when he was out with Chelsea and now there's like fifty people in the beach house you're renting.

You stand in the farthest corner with a red solo cup in your hand, taking the tiniest of drinks. You haven't seen Ashton yet which kinda sucks but you haven't really gone looking for him either.

You decide to head back into the kitchen to refill your cup. You take a quick sip, making sure it's not too strong and you hum in delight. You move to leave the kitchen when Derek runs into you… hard. A scoff leaves your lips as the drink you just made gets all over the dress you're wearing.

"Jesus Christ," he grunts and glares down at you, "watch where you're fucking going."

You click your tongue, pushing him back. "How about you watch where you're going?! God, you're so fucking ignorant," you spit and move to walk by him when he roughly grabs your wrist.

"Watch your tone with me. I may have been nice before but now? Don't test me," he mutters angrily into your ear and you wince as Derek's hand squeezes your wrist harder.

"Let go of me."

He rolls his eyes and practically throws you back. You bump into a few people, apologizing to them while rubbing your wrist. You clear your throat and begin to make your way out the back door. A heavy sigh leaves your lips while looking down at your ruined dress.

"So much for trying to look cute…" you trail off and begin to make your way towards the ocean.

You take a seat, digging your feet into the sand as you watch the ocean waves. You sit there for a few seconds before a voice interrupts your thoughts. "There you are," Ashton's voice calls out and you jump slightly, looking over your shoulder.

A smile appears on your lips and you chuckle softly. "Hey," you greet a bit quieter and Ashton takes a seat beside you.

"What are you doing out here?" He asks and you frown while motioning to the front of your dress. He leans forward, his hazel eyes inspecting the stain on your chest and you couldn't help but blush a bit.

"Derek ran into me and I spilled my drink all over myself," you inform him and Ashton nods his head slowly.

"Derek's an asshole," he states and you scoff, agreeing with him. "If I could I would smack the shit out of him… with my surfboard."

A laugh leaves your lips, resting your hands in the sand as you glance over at the black-haired cutie. "That would be a sight to see," you giggle. Ashton smiles down at you, glad to see a genuine smile on your lips.

He slowly moves his hand closer to yours, his fingers grazing against your wrist before gently grabbing it. You wince slightly and pull your hand away from him. "Sorry," you immediately apologize, looking over at him, "Derek- he grabbed my wrist after I talked back to him and it's still a bit tender."

Ashton's blood boils at the thought of him grabbing you, his eyebrows furrowing together. He reaches forward again, his eyes locking onto yours the entire time as he gently grabs your wrist.

Your heart beats quickly in your chest as Ashton brings your wrist to his face before pressing delicate kisses to it. You swallow the lump in your throat and butterflies soar around in your stomach as you didn't expect him to do such an action.

"A-Ashton," you trail off and his fingers move to intertwine with yours.

"Can I… can I kiss you?" He asks quietly and your breath hitches in your throat. You nod your head slowly and a smile graces Ashton's lips before closing the distance between you two.

Your lips connect with his and your hand immediately reaches out for his shirt, gripping it in your hands. Your stomach churns with excitement and nerves as he moves his lips against yours. The two of you continue to kiss for a good minute before you both get soaked. You let out a gasp and pull away from Ashton, seeing the ocean water retreating back.

"Wow, I was just cock-blocked by water," Ashton jokes and a laugh leaves your lips while you stand up.

"Come on," you motion towards the house while holding a hand out to him. Ashton smiles up at you and takes your hand, getting up from the sand.

Neither of you let go, feeling his fingers lace with yours and you can feel your cheeks heat up. The two of you walk up to the house, hearing the loud music come from the open back door. Ashton squeezes your hand as you both walk into the giant house.

"What in the actual fuck are you doing here?" Derek's voice asks over the music and the two of you glance to the right to see him standing against the wall, two girls hanging onto him. "You're not welcome here."

You try to take a step towards him when Ashton stops you. You look up at the black-haired man, seeing the hard glare in his hazel eyes. "Tell that to your best friend who invited me," he spits and Derek scoffs. "And honestly I can't figure out why Luke is even friends with you. You're a dick who thinks he's hot shit."

The girls hanging onto Derek snicker and the blonde looks down at each of them. "And you think you are? Look who you're with," he motions to me, a disgusted look on his face.

"The same person you tried to sleep with a few days ago, buddy!" You yell, narrowing your eyes at the man. "And now you're being more of an asshole because I wouldn't let you get your dick wet."

"You shut the fuck up. I'm talking to him, not you," Derek sneers and takes a step towards you when Ashton steps in front of you, blocking his way. A scoff-laugh leaves his lips at Ash's actions, crossing his arms over his chest. "Damn, you've got him trained."

Ashton tsks and shakes his head. "Y/N' s doesn't have me trained. I'm just a good human being who doesn't allow assholes to put his hand on a woman… again," he states and your hand finds its way to his back, gripping the shirt he was wearing.

"Ash, c'mon. He's not worth it," you try to pull him away, not wanting anything to get out of hand. He glances over his shoulder to look down at you, his eyes softening.

"Yeah, Ash, step away before you get hurt," Derek mocks and Ashton's jaw clenches and swings his arm back to punch the blonde.

Lots of gasps bounce off the walls, the chatting and music becoming silent as Derek stumbles to the ground. The blonde holds his face as you grab a hold of Ashton's bicep.

Holy fucking shit.

"Come on," you whisper and pull him away from the crowd. The music blasts through the speakers again as the two of you walk up the stairs.

Ashton walks into your room first as you follow closely behind him and close your bedroom door after fully walking inside. "Sorry you had to see that," he sighs and you smile softly at him.

"It's fine. It was kinda hot," you chuckle and shrug as the black-haired man sits on the edge of your bed. You walk over to him and grab a hold of his hand, seeing his angry red knuckles. "Does it hurt?"

He shakes his head and you lift his hand to press a gentle kiss to his knuckles. Ashton's free hand grips your blankets, his hazel eyes burning into yours. "Fuck, you're so beautiful," he whispers and your cheeks heat up.

You smile at the ground, rubbing your thumb on the back of his hand. "God, I'm gonna hate leaving next week," you sigh and Ashton stands up, his chest almost touching yours.

"Then don't…" he trails off before lifting your chin with his index finger to connect his lips with yours.

what are your headcanons for the "Staniel" dynamic, or even just Daniel as a person

oooo a good one!

i see Daniel as pretty chill! but also very anxious person, so he hardly really says anything. He just hangs in the background of most conversations, bc a mix of anxiety + not rlly having anything to contribute is...oof. He sees himself as reclusive and dorky, but others see him as really fucking cool. He has no idea why. (Spoiler: it's bc he's a nice dude)

he's good friends with Patricia! She's a bit more talkative and open than him, but they make Such a good contrast. He really comes out of his shell when she encourages him, and he can help her settle and talk about Feelings™. He's really fucking funny when he does talk; he's a bit sarcastic, but never mean.

he doesn't really like school? Like, it's doable, but it can be exhausting. Connie helps him a bunch, and Patricia encourages him if he needs it, but he stresses out a lotttt. Has complicated feelings abt his mom since 90% of his stress comes from her, but he's...fine. mostly

(Aditionally: Daniel's mom felt comfortable scolding Daniel about his test in front of Patricia! But she still let him go to the skating rink. I think the mom was like "you're in so much trouble. BUT, Patricia is a sweetheart and she's been waiting to hang out. so you can do it, but we're going to have a talk later!" Im just gonna see this as her knowing Patricia also)

As for Staniel, theyre dynamic is just! guys who kiss and talk a lot! I don't think theyd ever get into a full on domestic relationship (lol im a die hard connverse fan oops) but I can see them fucking around. ie. staying up really late, inviting Connie and Patricia to eat McDonalds at 3 AM, just chilling in Steven's car while they drive around, laughing at the dumbest shit ever, general friend things. except they like. kiss and do gay things

I don't think theyd label themselves as a couple, bc thatd just...be very stressful for both of them. (Steven would be worried abt throwing himself into a relationship, Daniel would still be stressed with school and like. his mom. she knows he's gay but she doesn't want him getting into a relationship until after college, so he's just like...oops)

So their relationship is just them unwinding around each other, sometimes through kissing, sometimes through laughing, sometimes through just blaring music and driving reallllyyy fast

Daniel fucking Hates Steven's jokes bc they're literally so terrible. But also he hates them bc he finds them funny, and he's 100% sure Steven lowered his sense of humor. (He doesn't mind tho, he likes when he can stop Steven midjoke with a kiss. And then nudge him like "please shut up" while Steven laughs)

Steven thinks Daniel is like, the cutest boy ever so he was just 👉👈 around him for a bit. When they start...dating (?) that stops, and he's..not exactly flirty? Just more like "you're so handsome" while they're kissing, giving him compliments bc he's like. this isn't a relationship but goddamn im romance starved. He likes it when he can catch Daniel off guard and get him flustered.

Daniel also thinks Steven is really cute! He doesn't say it, but he thinks it's kind of cute that Steven is a bit shorter than him. He has the Smoosh Steven's Cheeks syndrome, where he can't resist holding Steven's face and squishing his cheeks until Steven whines that it hurts. He's intimidated but also into that the fact that Steven could break him like a twig, but is generally just...super gentle (with hugging, holding hands, kissing, literally everything)

But other than a few romantic elements, theyre basically homies. I just see them talking abt Slightly deep stuff but not going the full way, I see them distracting each other from stressful families.....

Extras: Daniel finds Steven a Subway coupon on the street and is like "ayyeee date night".

Marvin had one arm slung around his boyfriend’s shoulders, grinning like an idiot as Toy Story 4 played on the TV and the two of them sat on the couch. Though, what Marvin was doing was closer to “squirming and shifting every ten seconds in an effort to gain more of Mare’s attention” than sitting.

Mare sighed. “Yeah, what is it?”

“Did you knowwww,” Marvin slurred, interrupting himself with a giggle. “D-did you know that um, that IIIIIII...” He tries to boop Mares nose, but ends up just poking his cheek. “Love you?”

Mare snorted. “Sure did, amatus.”

“Yaaayyy,” Marvin cheered softly, moving his arms so he could hug Mare around his waist and bury his face in Mare’s stomach. “You smell nice.”

“Nooooo!” Marvin pulled back enough to pout up at Mare. “I wanna keep watchin’ movies!”

“No offense, babe, but you stopped watching halfway through the first Toy Story.”

Marvin giggles. “I hate that movie!”

“I could tell.”

“The second one was better! I used to have a huuuge crush on Jessie.” He pauses, then pats Mare’s thigh with a solemn expression. “Not anymore, though. She’s got nothing on my beautiful demony boyfriend.”

Marvin blinks down at him, then laughs--not a chuckle, and not quiet. A real, genuine, throw-your-head-back laugh. Marvin watches him in wide-eyed wonder, the pink in his cheeks no longer entirely because of the alcohol.

“Monsters, Inc.,” he mumbles.

When Mare calms down, he pulls Marvin closer with an adoring grin. “I’m sorry, what?”

“Monsters, Inc.!” Marvin sits up suddenly, squishing Mare’s cheeks until he’s got a fishface and moving his own face so close their noses touch. “They were onto something!”

Mare raises his eyebrows. “Wha’re ‘oo talkin’ ‘bou?”

Marvin kisses him excitedly, briefly, before gently whispering to Mare, “Your smile and laughter runs my whole world.”

There’s a beat, then Mare ducks his head, shoulders shaking as he holds back laughter--and fails miserably. “Yeah, okay, bedtime for you, holy shit.”

But next week is only gonna get more intense??? I’m gonna guess we’ll get through the Elder Centipede fight??? But then what does that mean for the last episode??? I am full of SO MANY QUESTIONS??? so in the beginning, mark and donghyuck are literally just walking down some stairs and i’m already feeling a t t a c k e d like???? watching the boys have fun is my absolute freaking aesthetic fite me on this okay

- their outfits are WONDERFUL i love the really casual look on them (and every other look akjgfakjh MODELS) they rock it!! omg hyuck’s hair is so vibrant you can’t help but look at it. you know what else could be considered vibrant? something else you can’t help but just stare at? that’s right. THE SUN. it’s confirmed– because of that logic lee donghyuck is the sun. :) and mark omg he looks really cute in yellow??? and the clothes he’s wearing are super cute i love

- the shot was so pretty!! like with the powerlines in the background?? that blue sky?? that reflection of the sun’s light?? the green plants?? the nice staircase?? absolute beauty i’m ajkwhagjkhag

7/24/17 - MONSTA X concert experience/fan account!

i wanted to share with everyone (and for myself so ill always remember) of how my experience was with monsta x’s concert! i attended their 2nd LA date and it was my first time lining up early for a concert, and also my first time being in the pit. ill be putting everything in a bullet point list under a ‘read more’, but just know that my memory is shit and my thoughts are really unorganized. :’)

the line

my friends and i lined up around 12:30p and i was really scared bcuz of LA heat (im very sensitive to hot weather. also cold weather too.) + what were we gonna do all day waiting in line??

it actually ended up being ok cause it wasnt hot (it was cloudy, the air was cool, we were in the shade, and it even rained a little bit)

i also met up with another friend and her group in line!!

eventually our group had more people since we randomly talked to some other girls nearby us (so we were a group of 10)

waiting in line was actually enjoyable

but i definitely did not drink enough water and i only had one ‘real’ meal in the morning and survived on junk food/snacks throughout the day

i didnt feel good after the concert actually lmao i had a really bad stomachache when i got back to my friend’s place

anyways here’s some stuff i learned from other fans while waiting in line:

NO ONE LIKED KIHYUN’S PINK HAIR FROM FIGHTER ERA (i loved it tho...)

‘fighter’ is monsta x’s worst title track (some people said it was a shitty song but im being biased and am gonna say i still like it even though it’s my least fav too)

‘all in’ is monsta x’s best title track and should’ve gotten them their first win

im assuming a lot of monbebes are armys too

also... there was some guy selling unofficial monsta x shirts and a LOT of fans were buying them...

my problem with this is that on the back of the shirt it says “since 2014″, but monsta x debuted in 2015???

if it’s “since 2014″ for when the first ep of no.mercy aired?? then i guess that makes sense... but im pretty sure “since 2014″ is a mistake/inaccurate and i wish those fans didnt buy the shirt BCUZ OF THE WRONG YEAR... :///

oh and i also got a lot of freebies !!! like fans were passing out banners, fanmade postcards + photocards, etc.

the concert

security let me and some of my friend group (bcuz not all of us had P2 tickets) into the venue a little before 7p

we got a spot in the middle of the pit?? which was good, i thought, but my friends were thinking if we moved back to the P3 section we’d have a better view (bcuz once the concert starts everyone’s phones will be up lmao)

we ended up staying in our spot but as more people were coming in to the pit, it progressively got more crowded/squished (and people who werent SUPPOSED to be in the pit were in the pit too...)

but im assuming the pit wasnt that bad compared to day 1 since the pit wasnt even full (lots of space near the back) and monsta x didnt sell out their 2nd LA date

once it got closer to 8p the lights on the stage turned on and LITERALLY EVERYONE PUSHED FORWARD :(

and then monsta x had an intro video?? where it showed a picture of each member with their names and by this time i started tearing up bcuz that meant they were coming on stage soon and i was thinking “oH SHIT”

aND THEN WHEN THEY CAME OUT ON STAGE AND STARTED THE CONCERT PERFORMING “BEAUTIFUL” I WAS LITERALLY SOBBING

i was a mess honestly i was sobbing and sweating cause suddenly it got really hot in the pit HAHA

halfway through “beautiful” some of my friends turned to me and looked shocked and they were all “??? AMANDA ARE U OK???”

which i was lol but you know... i knew 100% that i was going to cry during the concert, but i just didnt expect to do it RIGHT AWAY and to cry that hard oOPS

it was probably cause i thought “wow im actually here seeing my ult bias group live and they’re so close to me and i can see them pretty well and im alive at this time bless”

but i was so embarrassed at my reaction and now whenever i hear “beautiful” ill probably cry remembering this

and i actually stopped and calmed down (they used “stop! calm down” reference a lot throughout the concert) pretty quick tho so i could jam and sing along to the next song

anyways here’s when my memory goes to shit lmao i dont remember the order/the setlist that much

but im pretty sure they performed “incomparable” before they did member introductions

and i was LIVING BCUZ INCOMPARABLE IS MY 2ND FAV SONG FROM THEIR BEAUTIFUL ALBUM

when they were doing member introductions, one of my friends wanted to get their attention so we did an arm(?) heart together

and apparently WE GOT WONHO’S ATTENTION BCUZ SHE GOT REALLY EXCITED AND SAID THAT HE SMILED AND POINTED AT US

BUT I DIDNT SEE THAT HE NOTICED US FML (idk where my attention was) T________T

but when hyungwon started talking i cheered for him the loudest/more than i did for the other members bcuz i was so happy he was there

i looked at hyungwon the most during the concert, mainly bcuz he stood on the side of the stage where i had a good view

and also bcuz hyungwon is SO BEAUTIFUL!! HE IS THE TRUE VISUAL OF MONSTA X!!

even though he was healthy enough to come to the LA shows, i think he was tired/not at his best bcuz during one performance he was sitting down on the steps of the stage and he had his hand covering his eyes :((( (idk if he was tired or if he did that to see monbebes up on the balcony better)

after hyungwon, the member i looked at the 2nd most was kihyun bcuz HAVE YOU SEEN THAT BOY????

when they sang “white love/girl” i thought i was going to cry since i always cry when i listen to it at home but after my first embarrassing cry i think i was done cause no tears came out lol

I REALLY ENJOYED ‘READY OR NOT’ AND ‘OI’ LIVE. im more of a fan of monsta x’s louder songs with the booming basslines (but of course i like their softer songs too!)

for the member unit stages, i wanted to take pics/record vids but everyone had their phones up during these times so i decided not to take pics/record anything and just enjoy the special stages

BUT I GOT REALLY SHY WITH HYUNGWONHO’S “FROM ZERO” STAGE BCUZ WONHO!!!! AAAAAAAAA

and then everyone went wild when hyungwon was kneeling(?) down and wonho touched him lmao

REALLY hoping starship will release a studio version of “from zero” on their next album or something bcuz I LOVE IT (esp the chorus)

i dont really have much to say about shownu, minhyuk, and I.M’s “24k magic” cover bcuz i couldnt see them/the stage that well but it was a fun performance i think!!

kihyun and jooheon’s “mirror” cover WAS SO GOOD??? IT WAS POWERFUL AND MY FAVORITE SPECIAL MEMBER STAGE. like the lighting for the stage, jooheon’s rapping, kihyun’s VOCALS.... all of it was perfect

also not to say that any of the members were ‘bad performers’ bcuz they’re all great, but i definitely thought that kihyun and jooheon were in general the best performers throughout the whole night

for “white sugar” the members threw candies/chocolates into the crowd and wONHO KISSED THE CANDIES/CHOCOLATES HE HAD BEFORE THROWING THEM

oh so i just remembered i didnt write anything about the VCRs, but that’s intentional bcuz i honestly dont remember anything from them....

all i remember was in one of them the members find hyungwon sitting up against the wall with his face busted and everyone in the crowd went “AWWWWW”

besides performances... what else do i remember...

there was wonho imitating the translator!!

and jooheon’s new(?) aegyo???? he didnt do the kukukaka thing but something (still cute) with his dimples :’)

and I.M sang some of that “L-O-V-E” song

also I.M asked the crowd, “do you know who the ace (member) is in monsta x?” and then he said something like, “it’s all of you! monbebe(s) are the 8th member of monsta x!” ❤

back to performances, when “shine forever” came on i tried not to laugh bcuz one of my friends’ sister said some stupid funny shit about kihyun’s part in the chorus where he goes “SHINE FOREVER YEAH YEAH YEAH”

so now whenever i hear “shine forever” i always think of what my friend’s sister said lmao. i used to not like that song that much tbh but i enjoyed “shine forever” live, it was great!

“TRESPASS” LIVE IS AMAZING; EVERYONE WAS SINGING ALONG AND DYING (INCLUDING ME)

then after they performed “fighter” they went off stage to prep for the encore so i used this time to sit down bcuz MY FEET WERE REALLY TIRED AND MY BACK HURT

glad they ended with “no exit” (one of my fav songs!!) and “5:14″, but i also dont really have anything to say about these performances lol

but wonho THREW HIS SWEATY TOWEL INTO THE PIT

AND OF COURSE I DIDNT CATCH IT SO WHOEVER DID IS LUCKY

but even if i did catch it i wouldnt know what to do with his sweaty towel (again, not to be that fan but i would never wash it and try to conserve his sweat??? sounds gross but what else would you do lmaoooo)

kihyun said they’d come back soon (PLEASE COME TO SEATTLE) and they’d go to kcon in the future

and then you know there was the streamers and confetti (they only landed near the front of the pit tho asdlnfs) and then the boys bowed 3x and said good bye to everyone :’(((

for the ending video/credits the song that was playing was “miss you” but i didnt pay attention to the ending vid bcuz i was trying to find my friend group since we all got separated/paired off while in the pit lol

they didnt perform “miss you” or “stuck” or any of the songs from no.mercy but that’s ok cause the concert was still amazing and i loved every minute of it and it was only my 2nd kpop concert i’ve been to but it’s the best :(((

my throat ended up hurting after and my voice sounded a lot lower but it was worth it !!

before i start i just want to say i HATE MYSELF bcuz i cant express how im feeling correctly/my facial expressions dont match with what i say so through the hitouch i hoped that i was smiling LOOOOL but im pretty sure i looked shocked the entire time

k so my friend group was freaking out

“WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO SAY TO (INSERT BIAS NAME)??” “I DON’T KNOW!!!!”

when we were getting closer to the front of the line to see/hitouch the members we were all, “WHO’S THE FIRST MEMBER ALSDLA”

so the order for hitouch it was: I.M, hyungwon, kihyun, shownu <-> jooheon, wonho, and minhyuk (ill explain why i did the arrow thing for shownu and jooheon below...)

and how the hitouch was set up, the members were to your left and there was a table to separate them from the fans

i had my lightstick and a wonho paper heart in my left hand so i was doing hitouch with my right hand

I.M was wearing glasses and lemme tell you I.M IS HANDSOME AS FUCK

i had no idea what to say to him so i just said the first thing that came to mind and it was something like: “the show/you guys are so amazing!!”

and I.M smiled, closed his eyes, nodded his head, and had this really satisfied look on his face and he said thank you!!

hyungwon was next and i wanted to tell him “thank you so much for coming! please stay healthy/please take care of yourself” but all i ended up saying was “thank you so much for coming” ASLDA FUCK

then kihyun... OMG LET ME JUST SAY THAT KIHYUN IS SOOOO NICE

since i fucked up what i wanted to say to hyungwon i decided to just say “i love you” since it’s not hard to remember compared to a personalized message (even though they hear “i love you” thousands of times) + they’d understand “i love you”

but i told kihyun “i love you” and FUCKING KIHYUN... hE HIT ME WITH A BEAUTIFUL SMILE, CUTE TEETH SHOWING AND AN EYE SMILE AND HE WAS VERY HAPPY AND HE SAID “THANK YOU”

SO AFTER KIHYUN MY MIND WENT BLANK

so that’s why i dont remember if it was shownu or jooheon next IM SO SORRY AND I ACTUALLY DONT THINK I SAID ANYTHING TO SHOWNU AND JOOHEON AND I DONT EVEN REMEMBER TOUCHING THEIR HANDS FML BCUZ AFTER KIHYUN I WAS DAZED

but i remember shownu just had his normal resting face and then i do remember jooheon was smiling and i could see his dimples!!!!!

so then i think wonho and minhyuk were the only members who were sitting down, BUT WONHO WAS IN MY VIEW AND I PANICKED

cause wonho is my ult bias and... he means so much to me and there was no way i could express it in words so i quickly said, “wonho, i admire you so much i love you”

and all i remember was that he smiled at me and THAT’S OK THAT’S ENOUGH FOR ME IM FINE HONESTLY!!!

minhyuk was last and i was actually trying to rush... bcuz i kept hearing security saying to “move along” and i was the last in my friend group to do hitouch and i didnt want them to leave me behind so

i wanted to tell minhyuk “thank you for existing” bcuz this boy really makes me feel better when im feeling down and he is my source of happiness

but i think i just said “i love you” bcuz his reaction after would make the most sense if i said “i love you” to him

so i told minhyuk “i love you” and as i was trying to leave/go i could still feel his hand in mine??? like he didnt let go of my hand right away and i was CONFUSED

cause i was focusing on catching up with my friend group, but as my hand was slipping out of minhyuk’s i turned to look back aND MINHYUK’S FACE WAS CLOSE TO MINE BCUZ HE WAS LEANING OVER THE TABLE TOWARD ME AS I WAS LEAVING BCUZ HE WANTED TO SAY “THANK YOU” AND HE SMILED AND NODDED HIS HEAD AT ME

but really though the whole day was truly amazing (i know i said this so many times asldjsal) and i had such a fun time... seeing monsta x, even though they’ll forget me, ill never forget them. ❤ being there to see them live and up close and there with friends i’ve only met for the first time + making new friends has become my most happiest experience ever. thank you so much monsta x for my life??? i love them so much. ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

Blindspot recap 2x16

(Aka the one where Cade is the source and Patterson’s tooth is the mole)

Happy Blindspot day! Here’s a rather late recap, as is kinda typical for me at the moment (nightshifts take up a lot of energy haha). But anyway, have a look below the cut for a lot of rambling about how much I love Jeller and how much I want to hug Patterson haha

Oh yeah, Nas is being strangled. Forgot about that. But oooh I love the car-seat trick and then like flipping herself over into the backseat??That was kinda badass. I'm always approving of seeing ladies beat the crap out of bad guys. But anyway he's dead now (nice work Nas, I’m sure Weller didn’t want to interrogate him or anything) and anyway she's got the info-- which if there's really info about Sandstorm on that USB, then clearly he wasn't the one that put it there (bc he would have just used a decoy) meaning that if it’s legit then her source and this killer are not connected. Which lbr we already know they aren’t.

But nvm about all that bc this scene is far more important. The team are all hanging at Weller's and laughing and toasting and drinking and ughhhh remember early last season when Zapata and Reade had never even been in his apartment?? And now they're all hanging out?? Being besties?? And omg Patterson is such a cutie, insisting they toast every time (maybe I’m going to make a variation on that rule and always toast to Patterson herself before I do a shot haha) and they all indulge her and ughhhh my babies. And then Jane is there, walking straight in without knocking bc lbr this apartment is always open to her. Do I dare even consider the fact that she has a key, ‘in case of emergencies’??? But anyhow clearly Weller had invited her (because of course he did, he probably suggested the group drinks in the first place just to have an excuse to invite her over), and she probably had wanted to come so much but had already agreed to plans with Oliver and felt she couldn't cancel on him... especially not when she would be doing so to go spend time with the guy she’s actually in love with. That would probably be a kinda unfair thing to do to your date. But lbr when he bailed n their dinner she probably wasn't even that upset bc she was now free to go be with her family instead ughh. Also it's weird to think that this is all taking place immediately after last ep? Like only hours after the team all split into pairs to hunt down the smuggler. I mean Zapata's looking good for someone who got shot in the back of her vest, and Weller seems to have recovered well from being tased haha. But anyway they're all like ‘yaayy Jane's here’ which is so cute lol, and Zapata's like 'wait what about that thing you had on' (ugh look at this supportive lady-friend being all discreet haha) and Weller looks up with that 'I-really-wanna-hear-this-but-also-really-don't' expression bc I'm sure that even if Jane hadn't told him she had a date when he invited her to the drinks, he would have known it anyway bc she would have been all flustered and awkward and also clearly bummed about missing out on being with the team and ugh I bet Weller is fighting off a grin rn to know that she's here with him-- er, I mean with them-- and not with some guy and aww Patterson immediately involves her in the toasting thing and ugh look at my babies all being so happyyyyyy. And then Zapata immediately finds a excuse to whisk both of them off into the kitchen so they can have a ~girl talk~ (omg her "boys. so sensitive." comment lol. I feel you there girl.) and ugh I am SO HERE for this bonding and supportiveness and lol considering Weller got up and headed somewhere right the same time that they did, I'm totally picturing him hiding around the corner sneakily trying to listen in haha. Whereas meanwhile Reade and Patterson are left awkwardly at the table and she reaches out so earnestly, telling him she's worried about him, and he just walks off. Excuse me, I will not tolerate this rudeness towards my baby. Go back and apologise. And then omg Jane has snuck into the nursery (love the mobile with Aussie animals on it, like it’s a nod to my country for producing Sully haha) but anyway ugh I love the way that Jane looks around the room; it's not a wistful "I wish this was mine to share with him", though I'm sure that there's definitely a bit of that buried down deep. Mostly though she just looks at it all with such tenderness and pride, because she can see what a good and loving father Weller is going to be and it makes her love him all the more. And then oops Weller busts her (lbr he'd been fully aware of exactly where she was every moment since she stepped into the apartment, and was just waiting for his chance to spend some time alone with her) and she's adorably embarrassed and guilty about snooping but he doesn't mind at all bc lbr Jane has 100% free access to anything in his life bc he loooooves herrr, and then ugh Allie gets mentioned and Jane tries to suss out what the situation will be after the baby is born bc lbr she's secretly picturing her and Weller’s future life together, whether she realises it or not. And then she apologises for overstepping and takes the question back, just like he did when he asked her about Oliver, and ugh I love that these two are doing this little dance and wanting to be closer and know all these things about each other but they're afraid that the other doesn't want to share that connection so they apologise and try to step back again, but the other one always reassures them it's alright and then opens up a little more and ughhhhh these two are so clearly inchinggggg their way back toward each other again and ugh this is such a honest and vulnerable moment that could have easily led to something even deeper but of course by the very nature of the Jeller moment, it means that they have to be interrupted-- and so right on time there's a text from Nas (since she couldn't barge in in person, she had to make do) and ugh we’re all sitting here like 'okay you nearly died? cool well you would still have been not-dead in five minutes, how about next time you be more considerate and give everyone some time to themselves before demanding all the damn attention’. Sigh.

And so now the team is all back at the FBI and I'm curious as to how they got there, bc I'm certain that all of them except Jane would have been too intoxicated to drive. Like seriously tho did they all pile together into her car?? Who got to ride shotgun?? Weller, since he's the bigest and also the boss? And also so he and Jane could throw loaded looks at each other while she drove? Or what if Weller was feeling gentlemanly and let Patterson sit up front so she wouldn't be squished, and instead Zapata was the one sandwiched between Weller and Reade, poking her elbow into Reade's side lol? I really hope they did all drive together, I mean it’s just a far more entertaining thought than FBI people picking them up. Though it'd be kinda funny if they took cabs or ubers instead, like 'hey we're a bunch of FBI agents take us to our headquarrters stat'. But anyhow, I'm getting distracted. The team arrives in the lab, Weller checks in on Nas just long enough to get the USB with the info. The team tosses ideas back and forth about who the source is and if he had anything to do with the attack, then Weller sets Patterson to cracking the USB which will take all night. Ugh, my poor baby works so hard. Though lbr it's not like Weller is gonna go home and to bed either; he’ll probably spend all night working in his office so he’s readily available if she needs him. And then lol now Patterson's busy with her computer and Reade & Zapata have apparently decided they have some place else to be, so when Weller walks away, Jane can go after him alone, touching his arm (yaaaasssss Unnecessary and Lingery Touuuuchhhhh) and asking him if he's okay and ugh he's so upset and Jane just steadies him like no one else can and promises that they'll get Shepherd and then she touches his arm again (oh lord help me) before going to help Patterson and ughhhhh I love Supportive Wifey Jane and ugh I know I've said it before but I'm just so glad these two are partners again ughhh

Naw Reade and Zapata have just had another one of their joint gym sessions which I think is adorable. And lol he's talking about a woman he thinks is kinda cute (lbr tho man you're not exactly being picky these days) and she grimaces at him, which is basically a pretty good reflection of how I feel about Reade and his proclivities atm lol. And then oh hello random drug screen lady! That was a funny moment with "it's your lucky day"/"we finally have hot water in the showers?"/"we have soft serve in the commissary??" lol you sassy buggers. But more importantly than all that is the horror on Reade's face when she tells them they're going to be screened today-- yep, this is called karma, bro. You were mean to my baby Patterson and now the universe is punishing you. Also I love Zapata's “Couldn't you have given us a heads-up on this” and the lady's snarky reply. I like her already. And I like that she didn't take any of Reade's crappy excuses about not feeling well. It’s time to face the music, sucker.

Awwww Jane sitting on the floor with Roman and trying to get him to eat and worrying about him sleeping on the hard floor and ugh he asks her about her night and about Oliver and then ughhhh "I don't have much, but what little I do have I owe to you". That is such a true statement, and it kinda encompasses the good and bad? Like yeah he's in a cell and has no memories and that's because of her but he's also alive and being cared for and free of Sandstorm and that's all because of her too. Ugh their situation is such a complicated and interesting one but I really wish she would be honest with him about the zipping. He's been a little more settled lately, no huge outbursts in a couple of days, so maybe it's approaching the right time to start telling him the truth?? Please???

Back in the lab, Nas has emerged from the med bay, and so Patterson shows her and Weller the photos that she got off the USB-- pictures of Shepherd and Sandstorm peeps from the day before. And then the source calls and tells them where to bring him money before he gives them any more info on Shepherd's location. And yes this is all very important but rn I'm actually much more interested in Weller's loose necktie situation bc damn I'm digging it. Also I wanna know what happened last night? Like did he go home? Did the others go home? Was there any point in them sticking around anyway if only Patterson could run the decrypting program? If he did go home, did he sleep at all? I need to know these things. But anyhow Jane catches up to him in the corridor, and she opposes his plan to stake out the meet site beforehand, worried that they'll spook the source and lose their chance at a lead. And lbr she's kinda like his inner voice, here? He's having to do things a certain way bc he's the boss and he's supposed to do things by the book and prevent risk to his agents, but all the arguments she's making are exactly what he feels himself, yet he has to ignore them. Ugh I love the fact that even when they appear to be at odds, they’re still in tune?? #soulmaaaates

Oooooh Zapata's questioning Reade about his weird behaviour and lol she teases him about handling his hard liquor like a preteen (tho I would hope that preteens aren't drinking hard liquor lol) and then jokingly prods him about if he’s really worried he's going to fail, and then he's all 'well, yeah' and she's like wait what. Then he gets called up and walks out like a guy going to his execution and seriously son you would never be in this situation if you hadn't made such terrible life choices lately

Meanwhile the rest of the team is actually working, trying to hover around inconspicuously as Nas goes to the drop point. Which is kinda ridiculous tbh bc literally the source would recognise both Jane and Weller instantly so I feel that this is not a terrific plan. Then he calls and tells Nas to go to a nearby hospital and gives her directions on dropping the bag into a laundry cart before leaving. Then some guy collects the cart and puts the bag in the laundry chute-- so Weller accosts him and shoves him into a wall. Ah, my cranky son. (Tho lbr I quite enjoy watching Weller manhandle people. I would not mind watching him shove Jane into a wall in a much gentler and more romantic fashion haha). Anyway turns out the guy was just paid to do it, and they realise that the source is down in the laundry room at the base of the chute, and Weller is all like 'quick, to the stairs!' and Jane's like 'nah son I got this' and legit jumps down the chute, slowing her fall on the walls and doing a kickass roll when she gets to the bottom. Dude. Life. Goals. And then she immediately pursues the source, only for him to circle behind her and put his gun to her head-- and the moment he speaks she realises it's Cade. Okay so Cade has been the source all along? Or maybe both he and Markos? Or maybe he, Markos AND Remi? But then anyway in another incredibly badass move, she dodges to the side of the gun and disarms him and throws him over her shoulder and ugh I am so down with this fight bc while Jane is definitely going to be the more skilled, she is probably the person who taught him to fight well in the first place?? Student vs master. And them bam she has the gun on him and tells him that they're on the same side and that she killed Oscar and ooooooohhhhhh I bet he didn't see that coming. And then suddenly Weller is there, impressively not out of breath considering the fact that he probably just sprinted down like five flights of stairs to get here and protect his wifey. And Nas is there too, and says 'Cade! in surprise and recognition(??), and I guess she knows what he looks like from a sketch of Jane's or something? Still, it's weird how quick she was. And then he reveals he's the source and everyone is like whaaaaaaa lol

Oooh Reade's in trouuuuble. With Zapata, that is. And he insists he was just blowing off some steam and she shuts him down, making it clear that what he's doing is waaaay more serious than that, and insisting that he tell Weller. And awww she says that they're all family, but Reade blows her off. So he really doesn't believe that the team is family to him? That's sad. And wrong. And then he even questions Patterson about tipping off the drug test people and I'm literally offended on her behalf. She's being cool about it ("agents can't call for random drug tests. They're random.") but I bet his suspicion hurt. And then Jane joins them and I feel like she picks up on the vibe, but they all focus instead on Weller, Nas and Zapata as they go in to interrogate Cade. Why three of them? Why is Zapata there? I mean she’s great and I'm always happy to see her being badass, but I'm just a little confused. And anyway Cade is being a smartass about 'where it all started' (aka the big bang) and the ladies are basically like shut up and get to the point lol. So we hear his backstory about why he joined Sandstorm (dad died in a mining accident and lawyers robbed the family of compensation etc. Because apparently the only response to tragedy and injustice is terrorism) and then he tells them that he left Sandstorm when he realised that Shepherd was only fighting for herself, not his cause. While listening, Jane has a flashback to Roman talking to Cade about all the people that are going to die in phase 2, and Remi shuts down the conversation. It definitely seems like the memories we see these days often have Remi seeming like much more of a jerk then she used to (not that she was ever a ray of sunshine before tho tbh). Idk it might just be a product of what's triggering the memories. Anyway Cade explains that he stayed with Sandstorm so he could do more damage from the inside, and Weller gets pissed at him about trying to kill them (or really, trying to kill Jane, which is the part that actually upsets him). And Cade says he did it both to try to stop the plan-- bc back then Jane was much more central to it, right?-- and also as revenge for Oscar killing someone he loved. I'm so intrigued by the way he talks about Markos-- "Markos made me whole" sounds like much more of an intimate connection than family/brothers-in-arms. Whether they were involved that way or not, I'm definitely headcanoning that Cade was in love with Markos.

Aaaand so Weller is not happy with Cade’s demands for money and immunity. He storms into his office (does he really ever enter his office any other way?) and I love that Jane is confident in her right to be there but still hangs back a little, giving Nas a chance to make her case first, pretty much bc she knows it won’t work haha. Only Jane can get through to him when he’s like this. And ugh one of Weller's main arguments against Cade going free is that he tried to kill Jane. Lbr that’s totally an unforgivable crime in Weller's opinion. And ugh again I’m so glad about this whole moment-- like if this was happening in the early eps of this season, even if Weller would have admitted his anger over Cade trying to kill Jane at all, Jane certainly wouldn’t have been there to hear it and know that he felt that way. But now she is, and even if she tells herself that he's really just making excuses not to work with one of Sandstorm’s members, a little part of her would cling to his protectiveness of her and revel in it. But anyhow I love that she puts a hand on Nas' shoulder and is all like 'good try, but dw, I got this.' And she follows him and locks eyes with him and tells him that they have to put their baggage with Cade aside, like Weller did with her, and he's all "that was different" and ugh she reminds him about telling Zapata he didn’t even want to be in the same room as her and ugh it hurts me that that memory comes to her so easily. How much it must have hurt her to hear that, and how much Weller must regret it now and want to take it all back and tell her he never really meant it and he actually loved her all along and ughhhhhhh. And ugh he drops his gaze from hers and you already know that he'll let Cade go. He'll do anything for her. Lbr a lot of the time Jane is the most powerful person on this team bc of the sway she has over Weller, but it’s a power she would never abuse. Plus, she would do literally anything for Weller in return, and close to anything for every single member of the team. Ugh, my loyal baby.

Anyway so Cade gets his deal and tells the whole team about Shepherd meeting with a smuggler person, possibly to be smuggled somewhere herself. So they send out a team to lie in wait for ehr, but just as they're ready tog et into position, they see smoke coming from the building, and race in only to find that the guy Shepherd was meeting is already dead and a bunch of his files are burned. So they think Cade sold them out and pre-warned Shepherd, leading to an angry confrontation and he's all 'uhhhhh I've been here the whole time? literally how could I have gotten any kind of message out" lol and then he tells them that maybe they have a mole, which pisses Weller off. Uh, Cade, you might want to be careful. People are a little sensitive about the ‘M’ word around here....

Ughhh Jane suggests that they use Cade to try to jog Roman's memories and Weller allows it bc she's his beloved wifey and he wants to make her happy ugh. And it's such an interesting dynamic with Cade and Roman. "I don't know whether to choke you or feed you soup. Or maybe both" lol. And then Jane is all sweet with Roman when he can't remember anything, and it must be strange for Cade to see how not-Remi she is?? Though he still throws a jab at her about wanting her brother in a cage, which sets off another memory for her about keeping Roman from talking to Cade. As a sidenote, I love Remi's flat, dead voice and how different it is from Jane's. But anyhow clearly the doses that these two were zipped with were very different, or Jane’s has been wearing off or something, bc she is definitely much more susceptible to triggers than he is. But ugh my fave part of this scene was probably when Cade says that mean comment to Jane and Weller just grabs him roughly by the arm and drags him outta there. No one’s mean to his wifey and gets away with it...

Zapata and Reade get their results back, which were thankfully negative (though part of me wishes his had been positive just so he had to face it and get help). Also I love that they have these very private conversations in the locker room-- like cmon guys someone could be literally right around the corner. But anyhow ugh Zapata is so serious and worried rn and she insists again that he tell Weller and get help (work-dad will fix it!), but Reade is refusing to seek help bc he’s kinda a butthead these days. And so Zapata-- while making it clear that she's doing it out of love-- tells him that she will tell Weller if he doesn't, and his reaction to that reminds me of a little kid: "but... but you're my best friend" *lip wobbles*. Uh yeah, dude, she is! That's why she will do whatever it takes to protect you, even if you hate her for it! Ugh. Poor Zapata, she should go talk it out with her BFF Jane. Meanwhile Weller locks Cade back up, and then being the sweet marshmallow he is, actually pauses and tells Cade that he's sorry about his father. Ugh, my big softy. He mentions that his uncle was a miner too, and Cade's all ‘yeah I know, Shepherd talked about you a lot’. Which is creepy but unsurprising, I guess?

Over in the lab, my baby Patterson is looking at files on Borden, which is upsetting. She gets another headache, then is looking at pictures of Shepherd when she suddenly puts it all together, realising what's been going on with her and why Sandstorm always seems to be ahead of them. Also lol at the lab tech who comes up to ask her something and she's all "not now" and they back away respectfully from their queen haha. But oh my poor baby, this must be a horrible feeling, to realise her own role in all of this. Weller would never blame you though honey!

And speaking of Weller, he's back in his office when Jane comes in all shy, and she's like 'um, weird question, but... are you my supervisor?' with literally THE CUTEST expression on her face, and tbh it's kinda funny to consider her as part of boring old workplace ladders bc she's just ~part of the family~ (or rather jst like an extension of Weller, lbr) and Weller is like 'uuuhhhhhhhh yeah I guess I am' which shows he never really thought about it either lol. And lbr, she kind of went from victim-->asset-->Weller's partner-->traitor-->prisoner-->asset-->Weller's partner, so she never really fit neatly into the whole boss/employee thing. But anyhow she shows him the requisition form that she needs him to sign, all the stuff she wants for Roman, admitting she can't stand to see him so unsettled. And Weller literally doesn't even hesitate before signing it, despite the fact that someone like Roman could very easily use those things to craft a weapon or escape tool or something. He just signs it bc not only does he trust Roman not to do that, and also cares about her and hates seeing her sad, but also he remembers feeling the same way when Jane was first brought to them. Which squeezes my heart bc he acted so aloof at the start but you just knew-- KNEW-- that underneath he really felt for her and wanted to help and comfort her. Which he soon did, though as professionally as he could (until the feelings won out over professionalism haha). But ughhh I bet it hits her hard when he says that about having the same feeling-- bc she LOVES Roman. That's why it hurts her to see him like that. So if Weller felt the same way about her, even back then....

But anyhow, of course this tender Jeller moment is just begging for an interruption, so in steps Patterson, showing them warnings on her ipad as she talks about having a bug in her servers that she needs to fix, and ugh every word she's saying is so clearly about herself and fixing the 'bug' in her before it corrupts the whole FBI 'server' and ugh she's holding herself together so well and Jane looks confused and then concerned and Weller just looks aggrieved and ughhhhhh I NEED there to have been a moment after she leaves (after writing on the ipad to tell them to gather the others and meet her in that metal cage thing that radio signals can't penetrate) where Jane just reaches out to Weller and comforts him bc lbr they're like the parents in this family and Patterson is daddy's little girl and ughhhhh how sad and angry and frustrated and horrified they must be all at once and ughhhh. I just feel like Weller needed a hug and Jane wanted to hug him but couldn't-- not it his glass-walled office, not with unresolved stuff still between them-- but she would have at the very least stepped close and had her hand on his arm and murmured comforting words and ughhh. But anyway the whole team is in the cage now, and Patterson tells them all about the bug she found in her tooth, which is seriously crazy small. It couldn’t possibly exist in the real world. But anyhow Jane, the protective mama, is like 'Let's go get it out right now' but Patterson, my brave baby, looks at Weller and suggests they use it to lure Sandstorm. Which is a very good idea, lbr. Which then leads to them all hanging out in Weller's office reading from scripts, and it's kinda hilarious to see actors playing people who are bad actors? Like their reading is so stilted but I guess it still sounds believable enough to Sandstorm, so that’s all that matters haha

So now Sandstorm is coming to the safehouse where Cade is being kept, to kill him before he can ‘trigger any more' of Roman's memories. Borden's the one making the calls since apparently Shepherd is out on a barge in the middle of the ocean for whatever reason (lbr who knows why Shepherd does literally anything except for ~Insanity~). I'm sure that will become clear eventually. So the trap is set; Reade and Patterson are in the safehouse with Cade, presumably settling him in, when he overpowers Patterson, steals her gun, and fake-shoots them both before making a run for it, forcing the Sandstorm guys to race after him. I appreciate seeing Borden getting tricked by the very people he tricked, and it all almost works too, except apparently he has superhuman eyesight and notices a floodlight up in a tree. All the others are surrounded, but he escapes off another way-- only to be caught by Patterson, who wounds him with a shot then chases him into a barn. Meanwhile the ringleader of all the others manages to shoot all three of the others before shooting himself, and come on, really? What if he'd fired at the FBI? Someone would have taken him down immediately. So why couldn't they have killed him after he fired the first shot, or even shot at one of the other guys in the leg to drop him and then kill the main guy before he could re-aim and kill them too? I guess we're gonna have to suspend our disbelief here and just roll with it, bc lbr how could our crackshot team (especially Jane) not be able to stop this from happening?

But anyhow. On to more important things, which is my baby chasing Borden into a barn all alone, despite Weller shouting orders not to. And ugh as she walks in you can see that like literally everything in this barn (propane tanks, paint thinner, etc) is flammable, and well this is surely a very bad sign. And then she demands that 'Nigel' turn himself in, and ugh he shoots towards her and nearly hits the tanks and the she corners him and yet again they're facing down from either side of a gun, and ughhh she's telling him that he's going to spend the rest of his life in a cell and he actually reassures her, telling her that it's okay that she wants to kill him and omg okay maybe he's just saying that bc he assumes that she does, but then again maybe he KNOWS? If Sandstorm has been able to hear everything she's said in the past couple of weeks, then they have heard all her sessions with Dr Sun, the ones that (as she admitted to Reade) usually end with her sobbing. How many times did Borden come into the control room and volunteer to take over a shift listening to their bug; how many times did he sit there and listen to her cry and rail about how he'd betrayed her and destroyed her?? Ughhh and while I don't feel sorry for him (okay, maybe the teeeensiest bit), I do believe that he DID care about her. It just wasn't enough. And then ughhhh she's yelling at him now for what he did to her and there's tears in her eyes and he tries to apologise and I appreciate that he's made no move to shoot at her (I don't believe he would anyway) bc I'd hate for her to have to kill him bc that would mean even more emotional trauma-- like Jane with Oscar. And then he holds up the grenade instead, ensuring he'll die but also giving her enough time to make a run for it, to survive. And ugh if I’d known from the start how this would go I definitely would not have started shipping them all those eps ago lol

Ugh, back in the bullpen poor bruised Patterson is staring at the photos of Borden and the other Sandstorm operatives and ugh my sweet Jane comes up to check on her and it's super clever how there's originally no sound other than the music, like Patterson is kind of separate from everything. She's holding a little radio scrambler like it’s a talisman and ugh I just feel so sad for her. It's going to be so long before she is comfortable again in her own skin, until she no longer feels betrayed and violated and ruined. And Jane says much the same, telling her how killing Oscar made her feel more betrayed and unsafe. Ugh she's so sweet and supportive and doesn't push when Patterson says she can't feel anything, just makes sure she knows that she's always there for her. Ugh. Jane would die for any member of this team in a heartbeat and it kills me. As does her sorrowful face as poor Patterson walks away. And then ugh my baby goes to the med bay to get the tooth out, which is very symbolic and (hopefully) cathartic, and ugh she's so angry and so far from her usual bubbly self and she refuses any anaesthetic for the pain and ughhhh this is just awful

I'm impressed that Nas actually lets Cade go with the money. Are we sure she didn't poison it somehow, or put a tracker in it, or...? But regardless, Cade refuses to stay and help, and Nas is sounding pretty doom and gloom about their chances of stopping Phase 2. But naw Weller believes in the team, and he's confident that they've weakened Shepherd-- after all, her right-hand man is now dead, and her two former proteges are now on Team FBI (aww, he considers Roman to be on their team). Also speaking of Roman, he's now lying on his bed with his soft sheets and a book and ughhhh I'm so happy to see him smile ugh my baby puppyyyy. I hope that he remembers these little signs of love when the truth about the zipping comes out...

Ooooh Reade deliberately left without talking to Weller, calling Zapata on her 'bluff'-- but ugh given the stunned and upset look on her face, it was no bluff. She knows she's going to have to go to Weller now, even if it costs her her best friend. And ugh she shows up at Weller's door, rather than just walking right into his office when she had the chance-- like she had to go home and mentally prepre herself/talk herself into it. And of course Weller lets her straight in and ugh he looks so concerned both for her and for Reade and ughhhhh he's such the Dad of this family ughhhh

Sigh Oliver texted Jane and she went right to him. I suppose it's sweet that he cooked this whole fancy meal as an apology... and then ugh she kisses him, probably to shut him up so she doesn't have to hear that accent anymore-- and tbh I'm actually glad when the guys show up to kidnap them before any items of clothing have come off. Now THIS is one scene that I don't mind seeing interrupted...!
