I did a drabble. I struggle so fucking much with writing fanfic even though it's the best thing I know, but today a drabble came to me so I just wrote it down and posted it right away. Gulp. Enjoy?

What they don’t tell you about speaking multiple languages is that your brain does not in fact have a box labeled Spanish and another one labeled German. Instead it has a box labeled “Not English” and sometimes when you’re talking or writing in one of the languages you speak it will just start pulling random words from that box.

Having a really long-term hyperfixation that has since faded is terrifying yes but it's also so embarrassing. Hi I used to think about Scrimblo Splungus 25/7. Yeah, for 2 years straight. Nah, I don't think about them anymore except for with a vague sense of melancholy as I recall how they used to make me feel. Anyways this new one, Blimpkins McGee? I'm gonna think about them forever and the cycle will NOT repeat in 2 years. Trust me guys.

sometimes I wonder why y'all are obsessed with specific characters and I'm like "why them" but then I remember that sometimes its literally not your choice you just look at them wrong and all of a sudden they're taking up your every thought forever

i love codependent relationships in fiction i love watching two messy people unforgivably in love with each other shatter the world around them i love seeing interpretations of love as a cosmic disastrous redemptive force i love watching love consume people whole i love looking at romantic relationships and going "oh that is so fucked up! good for them"

Hey, thanks so much!! :D I'm definitely enjoying returning to this story and these characters after so long- luckily I kept a detailed chapter plan back then, and I already had a handful of chapters roughly drafted, so it's been quite easy to jump straight back in! I really do hope to finish it one day, though with at least a dozen more chapters planned, it might take me a while to get there haha...

Anyway, congrats on experiencing the wild ride that is Blindspot for the first time lol, and I hope you've gotten to know some of the wonderful Blindspot fandom that are right here on Tumblr!
