Mark's secret surprise duvet cover & shams are finished, delivered, installed and Luna inspected. Third photo is a detail of the machine embroidery stitches I used to quilt the slanted joints of the spooks colors, done in rainbow embroidery thread. I needed a cushion for my feet when sitting at my desk, and I had way too many scraps waiting to be used to fill something, so foot rest scrap pillow to the rescue. I even closed it with snaps so I can add more as these scraps get compounded and I need to add more. Just over a week left of our 2022 art exhibit “Fine Feathers: at play with structure and function. The show is on display until October 31, and the museum is open Wednesday through Sundays 10 to 4. “Feather Stitch is Cotton and linen by Allison Forest. Allison is a Vermont fabric artist. She has shown at local art festivals, participates in Vermont’s Open Studio, and @feedthemasses4388. In addition to this piece, she also has a mobile in the show. The mobile is made out of thread, raffia, maple, wool, milkweed and garlic.
