Here's my contribution to the Fablehaven Art Initiative!

Yes, I'm aware that you're supposed to post on Reddit or Instagram, I did in fact, so why not here as well

Honestly I wanted to do more prompts but ran out of time, so in the end I only drew the albino fairy from the first book

I actually used a real moth called Spilosoma lubricipeda to help me with the design (photo of it at the bottom so TRIGGER WARNING)

Okay, now I need to talk about that umbrella. When you see a leaf, their stem thingys are usually short, so she grabbed a stick and casually made it longer so that she could hold it normally and I think that's super cute. Also the reason of the umbrella itself is because albino variants are more vulnerable to sunlight I think? So that way she can get some shade even in the most sunny days!

Rereading the Fablehaven books!

Here are my Kendra and Seth designs... I saw a fanartist give Seth slightly spiky jeff winger type hair and it felt perfect for him...

I do think i need to do a second drawing of Seth though cause the Kendra here is higher effort
