I colored in one of my sketches i did for her & even tried out a new different rendering style ive been meaning to try out (I’d like some feedback if possible tho ofc ONLY CONSTRUCTIVE ones). As for the many suggestions/feedback i got from you guys for my au, I’ll do my best to get back to you all with adding in several of the ideas & seeing how they could fit into the overall story I’d like to tell hopefully. (I’ll work out how some kaiju could fit into a baseball team. Ken does his best to make things fair for everyone & most importantly a welcoming experience for all those who are part of the team)

Some have even mentioned a possible rival team of kaiju to play against Emi & Ken’s own team, which i also welcome the idea (if any of you have further ideas just for the rival team, plz lemme know!!! I’d love to hear them!!!)

My first take on the word Betwixt for Gtjuly where i thought of sandwiching myself between my giant friends. It's so crunchy cozy!

Kafka's relationship with Reno and Kikoru (and honestly all their fellow recruits in the 3rd Division ) is honestly the most accurate portrayal of Millenial/late Gen Z friendship I've ever seen.🤣

Have you discovered any new crushes just this year?

There's a few, but the most notable right now is Kafka from Kaiju No. 8.

On top of just being an absolute dork (and like anime's first ever real depiction of a character in their early 30's and NOT depicting them as older and grizzled), I also just happen to love goobers that can transform into appealing monsters:

And having those monstrous forms still retain their completely gooberish, dorky personality:

I mean, Kafka is basically anime Venom. XD

Okay, so during the week I was without my tablet, I thought I'd take the opportunity to start watching stuff and trying some new shows. I'm kinda one of those people who has stuff I wanna watch but I, like, "never get around to it" if you get what I mean.

Started off with Gamera Rebirth, which to be fair I found out about fairly recently....I think it has changed my brain chemistry. Got me really hyped to draw monsters again (once Fazbear Collection episode one's art is done. Got a few pages left, including the "big" scene of the episode). I might take a while for me to get back to things like the Godzilla stuff I've been posting every now and then.

In the meantime...

Y'know how I may have mentioned getting distracted by possible side projects? Yeah, here's an example. These aren't "final" designs by any means gonna need to find some better reference images and stuff. Kinda funny that "My Take on Gamera" was the most popular option in the poll.

Been watching Ultraman Blazar this past week or so (might actually finish it tonight). So I may also become annoying about the Giant Silver Alien Dudes too. Maybe.

A lesson we can all learn about Kaiju No. 8 is that it is stupid to frame needing help with shame and it'd get us all killed.

Kafka is proud of his ability to help others even if only a little. If you think about it, he taught it to Mina in the way he was acting so proud and cool of him supporting her. Mina is still struggling to understand it, tho. So it's Kafka, to be fair.

The thing is that the prodigies and no-prodigies of the Third Division learned from him in the blink of an eye. Reno himself learned from him on a day and proceeded to continue to follow his example through the story. Kikoru —who was taught to be overwhelming, perfect and self-reliant— was able to overcome her insecurities and traumas when she admitted she wanted the praise of others and their help too.

When the new generation of the Third Division showed up all proud to open a path for Kafka to reach Mina, it was Kafka who made it possible. When they first met, Kafka's focus was on helping them, guide them, and open a path for them. He make it look heroic, not weak. How can they be ashamed of supporting the guy who revealed his identity to save the entire Third Division, even when he knew they could kill him for it? How can they not think of Kafka as a cool hero? A role model? Someone to aspire to be like?

They taught that lesson back to him when they all showed up and showed him that they were strong and capable of having his back.

Jugo was in freaking tears when he realized the rookies wouldn't commit the same mistakes his generation committed, like with Hikari. They were not blind to their comrades' needs or struggles. In fact, they were more than ready to cover any flaw or mistake with their presence, at any moment.

Kafka is not the only example and not the only member of the Defense Corps who aspires to not lose a single soul in battle. BUT he is kinda the one responsible for erasing the shame of being on the sidelines or being the one helping, for once.

IDK if you're interested about this new AU I forged my brain, but...

What if all the deceased MonsterVerse Kaiju (lesser) villains (MUTOs, King Ghidorah, MechaGodzilla, Skar King, Tiamat, Scylla, Shinomura, MUTO Prime) has a chance to live their lives, but in a most impossible consequences...

Reincarnated as HUMANS?

Yeah, they will have similar aspects of their own Titan forms, but without powers or strength, and their memories were a bit hazy because of someone stolen their perspective except in their past lives. Admired or hate Godzilla? Well, it's their choice.

AN:

A potential sequel of my own take about the epilogue of GxK. But basically, my OC will be there to find these Titan incarnated people in order to avoid chaos. What cause them being incarnated will be revealed sooner. And yes, I added this AU on my list.

The title of this AU is called Present Incarnation.
