Nothing like a good ol' fashion after battle kiss! This one in particular is set after the events of Aftermath. They were separated due to Varian hunting down Shang Tsung herself and Hanzo being out in the battlefield. The relief they felt after seeing that the other was indeed ok was overwhelming.

Ubud: Bali (02.10.22)

Für meinen letzten Tag in Ubud habe ich mir einen privaten Taxifahrer gebucht. Nach dem ich in meiner Villa ausgecheckt habe, genieße ich noch ein letztes Mal die abenteuerliche Fahrt mit dem Motorrad zur Hauptstraße und werde dort um 10 Uhr von Eka eingesammelt.

Eka ist super nett und zum Glück zum quatschen aufgelegt. So quatschen wir also die ganze Zeit, was ich als sehr angenehm empfinde. Er setzt mich direkt vor dem Eingang der Attraktion ab und holt mich dort wieder, wenn ich ihm kurz per WhatsApp schreibe, dass ich fertig bin. Super easy. Den Ort wo der berühmte "kopi luwak" hergestellt wird überspringe ich dann lieber. Zum einen weil ich Kaffe nicht mag, zum anderen, da ich nicht glaube dass es den Katzen wirklich gut tut, wenn sie die Kaffeebohnen aus(**)scheiden müssen. Was ich mich hierbei jedoch Frage... Wie hat man damals herausgefunden, dass der Kaffe aus Katzenscheiße so genussvoll zu sein scheint? Irgendwie würde mich das schon echt interessieren.😂

In einem Tempel spricht mich eine Frau an, ob sie ein Foto von mir machen soll, was ich voller Dankbarkeit annehme. Ich verwickle die vier Spanier (ein Paar und zwei Mädels) in ein Gespräch und merke auf Anhieb, wie cool die Gruppe ist. Anscheinend haben sie die gleiche Tour gebuch, so sehen wir uns über den Tag verteilt immer wieder, machen Späße und reden hin und wieder ein wenig.

Nach ca. 7,5 Stunden sind wir wieder zurück und ich gebe Eka 150.000 RP Trinkgeld, (10 Euro). Was viel zu viel ist aber sich für mich stimmig anfühlt. Die Tour an sich hat 450.000 RP gekostet (30 Euro). Für ein privaten Taxifahrer der dich 7 Stunden durch Ubud und Umgebung fährt absolut krass.

Leider hat sich der Typ von der Surf WG noch immer nicht gemeldet... Es ist bereits nach 17 Uhr. Telefonisch kann ich ihn auch nicht erreichen. Eka meinte er könnte mich für 300 000 auch hinfahren und ich sage ich melde mich bei ihm, wenn ich ein Taxi brauche.

Ich buche einen Feuertanz, setze mich in ein Restaurant und überlege was ich wegen der Surf WG tun sollte, als ich Raf und seine Freunde wieder treffe. Raf lud mich ein sich zu ihnen zu setzten. 🤗 sie wollten etwas essen, bevor sie zu einem Feuertanz gehen wollten. Ich lache laut los, als ich begreife, wir hatten auch für den Abend die gleichen Pläne. Also gingen wir zum Pick Up point und wurden ein Stück nach draußen gefahren.

Der balinesische Firedance war wirklich der Wahnsinn, ein bisschen erinnerte es mich an eine Oper, verstehen konnte man nichts, aber durch die Gestig und Mimik konnte man doch viel von der Story mitnehmen. Kurz vor dem Beginn des Firedance bekam ich nun doch noch eine Antwort von der Surf WG: “du hast dir für heute Abend bestimmt schon etwas anderes gesucht oder?“ öhm nein, eigentlich nicht. Ich Versuche den tanz zu genießen während sich fragen über Fragen in meinen Kopf brennen. “wo schlafe ich heute? was mache ich jetzt? Was mache ich wenn ich kein Bett für heute finde?.. Etc. Ich Versuche die Fragen zu verdrängen, wobei mir Raf sehr behilflich ist, indem wir den Typ in dem Video z.b. als “balinesischen Santa Klaus betiteln" und uns kaum mehr bekommen vor lachen.

Ich genieße es mit der Gruppe und würde so gerne noch mit ihnen essen gehen. aber ich sollte mich besser um ein Zimmer bemühen. Also trenne ich mich schweren Herzens von ihnen und lasse mir mein Gepäck aus der Villa bringen. Eigentlich wollte ich mir ein gojek holen, aber der Typ aus der Villa,meinte er könne mich auch mitnehmen. Ersteinmal stürzte ich mit dem Rucksack fast vom Roller und dann war es gar nicht so leicht das Gleichgewicht beim fahren zu behalten.

Im Hostel Frage ich nach einem Zimmer und zum Glück bekomme ich noch eins.

Ja, das hätte ich auch nicht gedacht, dass ich bis nach 21:00 Uhr nicht weiß wo ich schlafen werde... Aber zum Glück hatte ich nun ein Zimmer. Draußen spielten sie bierpong und ich wollte nur noch schlafen, ehe ich dann am nächsten Morgen hoffentlich zur Surf WG komme.

THE FIRE DANCE

Good ‘intentions’ are NOT sufficient to balance the energies of what one ‘intends’ to change or adjust. What one focuses on … manifests the ‘appearances and experiences’ in the dream world most call reality. They are NOT Real but shadows thrown off by thoughts oriented to the belief in separation, which are always laden with chaos, conflict and confusion.

If, for example, one looks around and notices that there is corruption everywhere, which is highly visible as this Great SHIFT into an Era of Peace and Light unfolds … and chooses consciously to become ‘active’ in helping to ‘change’ that condition, they must step into that ‘field’ of thinking. Like one in undercover law enforcement for example, they must ‘take on’ the disguise of the environment they wish to change and ‘can’ actually ‘end up’ becoming exactly ‘like’ that energy themselves. Its like ‘dancing with fire’.

This is the ‘you become what you think about’ phenomena that seems to exist in the so-called ‘creation’ of one’s reality. What actually happens is the body-mind-identity most call ‘me’ [which is an illusion] … takes on the ‘mask’ of the most predominant and passionate thoughts and ‘seems’ to ‘become’ that NEW identity.

The Real YOU [the ONE SELF] NEVER changes and remains pristine no matter what seems to be occurring in the Grand Dream. When one has crossed the bridge into the Freedom of the ONE SELF They Really Are, that ‘Being-ness’ has more influence than 8 billion well meaning dreamers … without ‘doing’ anything.

I feel like fandom would hate on Varian for "replacing" Harumi, when really she'd make Hanzo so happy and it would be good for him to move on 😭 (I miss seeing your little guys on my dash Middle!!)

Yeah and they'd either: 1. Ignore that Varian also lost her first husband and son in a similar fashion. Or 2. Call her a slut for "moving on so fast" despite it being centuries later. They'd probably also hate their kids by extension saying that "Hanzo stopped caring about Satoshi" even though that couldn't be further from the truth!

I miss them too, I'm slowly trying to get back into writing for them 🥲

Update, Ophelia is still kicking!! Literally, because she's a monk lmao. However. The turtle man spilled all his secrets and is super guilty about certain choices after a certain curse was removed. One of which was manipulating our sweet baby Ophelia and she's low-key super in love with him. And now she's gotta look out for the vampire because we're in the castle on top of the hag. ON TOP of the guilty tortle who may or may not have a death wish. ALSO her gnome best friend forever, who is getting super nervous and wants to scorched earth Castle Ravenloft. (There's also beef between him and the human fighter that she's constantly mitigating). Not to mention, Ophelia isn't the brightest star in the sky. She's the youngest and most naive member of the party and is one impulse away from flipping tables at Strahd's face.

Long story short, if the hag doesn't get Ophelia, the stress will.

And I'm fucking LIVING FOR IT. GIVE ME ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL THE FUCKING DRAMAAAAAAA
