and the wind sounds like the world’s sigh
persona 4 & 5 | shiho-centric, investigation team Near the end of May, Shiho transfers to a sleepy town called Inaba for a fresh start. However, Inaba isn’t the sleepy town her parents thought would be best for her— its on edge with unsolved mysteries, and Shiho finds that there’s a bit more behind what meets the eye regarding some of her classmates and a TV screen.
chapter 1: inhale | 2.4k | ao3
Maybe this is hell. It's a white ceiling, off-white walls, bright white lights, white bedsheets. It's the bland meals, kind but insincere conversations, background noise of the news. Sad, prolonged looks from Mom, regretful frowns from Dad, the overall lack of feeling from her legs. The monotone beep of the heart monitor and drip of the IV. Hell can't be dark and fiery and the screams of the damned-- it has to be this.
Ann is a light in this place. The blonde of her hair offsets the white entirety of the room, the radiance of her smile breaking the solemn air that's been stagnant. She can't always visit, but Shiho looks forward to the times she can. She's the inch of normalcy left in Shiho's life-- she tells her about things that have been going on in school, a cool photoshoot she was in, a dumb thing Ryuji was up to, a shiny A on a test that she only passed because Akira helped, a new restaurant the three of them went to-- she's glad, so glad that Ann hasn't let this change her, hasn't let the wobble of her lips when she looks towards Shiho's legs keep her from looking her in the eye and talking as if they weren't in a hospital. More often than not, Ann isn't there. She isn't there, and sometimes Shiho thinks it may have been better to land differently, breaking more than just her legs. She's confined to bed, confined to sleep and watching tv and staring at the wall. She's stuck, legs basically useless, and she has to sit through looks of pity from the doctor, her nurses, her physical therapist, her parents. Her skin crawls whenever her parents visit. They know what happened, but they don't know. They're so quiet when they visit, so sad, so pitying, and she has no idea what they're thinking. She hopes and hopes for the door to slide open whenever they're here, hopes the doctor does a checkup on vitals or the therapist takes her to learn how to use her legs again or Ann to come bounding in and dispel them. She's not lucky. They stay and they speak of things so mundane-- at least it's nice to talk with Ann, but with her parents it all feels awkward and forced and Shiho wishes she had the gut to tell them to stop, they don't understand, don't act like you understand. They aren't in the room the day Ann enters, eyes both bright and watery. Ann basically crashes in the seat next to her bed, grasps her hand so tight she's momently scared it'll snap, and tells her it's all over, he's in jail, he got what he deserved, he's gone. Shiho cries and Ann cries with her, and maybe, just maybe she'll be able to walk those wretched halls again and graduate side-by-side with Ann like they imagined and maybe she'll meet Ryuji and Akira and give them the biggest hug possible and hopefully hang out with them at Big Bang Burger or the Arcade. Her hopes soar, and she wishes she could stand so she could hug Ann and leave this awful room. Her parents walk in the next day, faces drawn in, and tell her we're going to move when you're released from the hospital. We're sorry, Shiho. Shiho doesn't cry. She just hopes her legs will stay broken, so she can still at least stay here and see Ann regularly.
—
Her legs ache the moment she steps off the train into the Yaso-Inaba Station. They've ached the moment she stepped on the train and throughout the whole ride. Shiho takes this as an ill omen. The car ride to the house is in a terse silence with occasional awkward conversations between her parents, similar to the train ride over. Inaba, her parents had told her, was a tiny rural town. A big difference from the metropolitan style of Tokyo. A good place for a fresh start, they said. Shiho can see between the lines and know they chose this place because nothing happens here. (She knows that they think if it's a peaceful place, there's less of a chance of her ending up in an ambulance midday and missing two months of her life. If it's peaceful, bad things won't happen. They won't.) It takes less than twenty minutes flat to drive to their house-- in Tokyo, on good days it would have taken twenty minutes to drive a mile. It's a small house, different from their even smaller apartment in Tokyo. They actually have a backyard. It's on the edge of Inaba and supposedly not too far from her new high school. Unpacking is quiet aside from the occasional 'put that in the kitchen' and 'can you help me carry this?' Thankfully it's cloudy outside, so it isn't too much of a chore. Most heavy things, like furniture, were delivered before hand, which cuts the labor. They apparently make enough noise for a neighbor to come out and greet them. Her mom ends up side-tracked talking to them, so she and her dad finish unpacking to avoid being dragged into the conversation. It's a single story house, small kitchen, small living room, two small rooms, two small bathrooms, and yet its still more spacious than their old apartment. Shiho claims the bedroom facing the backyard. Her dad helps bring in some boxes and offers to help set up furniture before Shiho shoos him off. Her room slowly comes together. She slowly puts things on the dresser, on the wall, in the closet, until it looks vaguely like her old room. It has all the same elements, but it doesn't register in her mind as her own yet. She goes about it in a detached sense, like her body is on autopilot. One year, Shiho thinks, this is my home for one year. She comes across her next uniform that her parents snuck in her boxes-- a black seifuku with a glaringly bright yellow ribbon and houndstooth patterned skirt. It's... something, to say the least. Not the worst uniform she's ever seen, but... well, it's definitely something. She guesses she can call it stylish for a school uniform. She lays it out on her bed, smoothing it out absently. There's no true blazer, so she can't exactly get away with just wearing the undershirt. She misses the plaid of Shujin, regardless of how ugly she thought it was at first. Her first day is... tomorrow, maybe? The day after? Her mom had told her, but it felt like fuzz in her ears. She doesn't want to think about school. Belatedly, she takes a picture to send it to Ann later. Ann was at a photoshoot right about now-- she couldn't exactly check her phone every now and then and respond to her. The lack of consistent buzzing from her phone made the whole unpacking process more quiet. Half-way through the next box, her dad reappears at the doorway, leaning in a casual way against the frame. He whistles in awe at the progress she's made, saying, "Wow, already this far? Sorry, sweetie, but you're gonna have to do the kitchen and living room at this pace." She rolls her eyes. "Sure thing. It'll probably be useless, though-- you'd probably reorganize it to your liking." He shrugs. "It's going to take weeks before your mother and I find an equilibrium in that kitchen. Ya close to a stopping point? I was kinda thinking bout getting dinner." She isn't, but the dust is starting to get to her. Besides-- this is might be the first time he's looked her in the eyes in a week. Maybe things are turning for the better. "Sure. I think I saw a take out place not too far away on the drive here." In a blocky motion, she pulls herself to her feet. Getting up to her feet was no longer easy. It was a struggle, even after so much physical therapy. She liked to think it was okay now. Yet-- her leg twists and twinges painfully, her breath catching in her throat as her world tilts. There's a flash of movement from the corner of her eyes in her dad's direction, but she manages to catch herself by slamming a stabilizing hand against the wall. Shiho swallows thickly, breathing slowly to calm the spike of her pulse at the sudden feeling of falling. She glances up warily. Her dad's hand is halfway towards her, as if to catch her if she didn't regain her footing, with the other braced against the door frame with white knuckles. There's a pause, a bit deafening, and her father retreats his hand and crams it in his pocket. A scowl sits on his face, the corner of his mouth twitching with unspoken words, and he quickly pulls on a grin that doesn't fit his face. "That was close," he laughs, a bit wheezily and with a tremor in the undertone. He shifts awkwardly, maybe debating to check if she's fine or to let her be. I wonder what went through his mind just now, Shiho thinks, throat tight, did he see my leg breaking? or them shattered, beneath hospital blankets? or maybe-- "Ah, you may have to start wearing your brace more often, kiddo. It's kinda hilly and rainy around here." Grimacing, she nods. "I'll put it on before we go." It's on her dresser, where she threw it after taking it off earlier to give her leg some air. She hates that thing-- it's hot and sweaty and itchy and it always seems to get disgusting in less than an hour. It's going to be miserable to wear it in the rain-- it'll become soggy and she'll have to deal with the spongey feel of it the whole school day. A moment passes. Her dad still lingers by the doorframe. He clears his throat and scratches his arm absently. "Are you going to be alright?" he asks, looking anywhere but her. "Yeah," she says quickly, and back tracks. "Yeah. I-- I'm alright. Just a little sore from the ride." Her legs are never not sore nowadays. Not that they need to know. There's a solemn look on his face. Shiho grits her teeth and thinks please don't. He nods-- she can't tell if he's satisfied with that answer or not-- and leaves. For a second, she just stands and breathes. Everyone around her has been walking on eggshells since she landed in the hospital, and she's so tired of it. She wonders how long it'll take until it's all gone and done for. Her mom trusts them with dinner, saying that she's in unpacking mode and doesn't want to drop out of it now that she's in it. The car ride is quiet for the most part, with the two of them peering out the window to spy a places to eat or figure out what something is. There's plenty of tiny mom-and-pop stores just a walk away from their house, and the Main Street isn't too far of a walking trip, either. Shiho has a feeling she'll become familiar with these streets in due time. The sun had set enough to the point where it was fairly dark out with the overcast. The clouds aren't lit up orange with city lights, and there's an underwhelming amount of obnoxiously neon signs on these streets. Some store signs aren't even lit up-- just how rural is this place? Oh!-- then, maybe when the nights aren't cloudy, she'll be able to see the stars? They end up parking at a brightly-lit grocery store and wander to a nearby takeout restaurant. The air's thick with rain soon to come and is quite chilly for spring-- the warmth of the restaurant they slip into is more than welcoming. It's a small place-- a few tables are set up inside with a couple tables occupied. Shiho very pointedly avoids their wandering curious stares. Three boxes of noodles ends up being the price of a single nice meal in Tokyo. And even better, from what she could peer at in the restaurant, they're possibly the best looking noodles she's seen in years. Not grossly greasy, or dangerously overcooked. The chunks of beef and chicken shine with just the right amount of sauce, and the vegetables don't seem still half frozen from the freezer. Sweet n Sour, General Tso's, Teriyaki-- the smell makes her want to crack a box open in the car, and from the pace her dad walks at, he wants to, too. Ah. The lack of city lights also makes the lights of a police car much more stark. Both her and her dad falter-- they aren't near their car, were they? God, what if the police around here were crazy strict about parking between the lines. Her dad didn't have a great streak with being completely center, and the parking lot was empty, so he didn't exactly try-- what luck would that be, not even six hours in Inaba and they've already gotten a ticket. But as they step closer, the car is parked in a side street close to the market. Her dad's shoulders drop in relief when there's no-one by his car. There are some standing outside the police cars, like there's something going on. One glances up and spots the two of them ogling. He smiles disarmingly at them, nods to his companion, and approaches. "Good evening," the officer says kindly. His hands are neatly tucked into his jacket pockets, posture open yet with a tension along his shoulders. "Sorry to bother the two of you this evening. I'm required to ask anyone I see, though— have you seen any suspicious activity nearby, recently? Biker gangs, suspicious figures, anything?" "No," her dad says curtly, his eyes drifting in the direction of the side street with a confused frown. Biker gangs? Suspicious people? Shiho thinks absently, shifting the bag on her arm anxiously, wait, didn't they say— didn't they say nothing happens around here? "We moved in today. Is something wrong?" A dawning realization crosses the officer's face. "Ah. No, not-- not necessarily. We're just keeping watch." The officer seems to mentally juggle what he should say. He ends up frowning and says, "Well... a first-year at Yasogami by the name of Tatsumi Kanji went missing recently, last seen by his mother's textile shop. He's possibly involved with activity in biker gangs. If you hear anything about him or see any activity, be sure to report it, yeah?" The smile her dad gives the officer is tense. "Understood. Thank you." Dinner isn't going to be as pleasant as she thought it would be.

of fights and things — peter pevensie
Request: Hi! could you do one where peter gets hurt in a fight and the reader is forced to take care of him, and even though they fight all the time, he loves her and peter ends up confessing his love for her :)
Setting: Prince Caspian, after the raid at the Castle (movie wise anyways) Contains: Hmm, curse words.
Also a heads up, I’m actually a person who curses a lot! Though, I’m gonna try to contain myself.
[reposting from my old 2016 bloggg hngnkfhdskhg]
“The two are at it again,” Lucy sighed as she trudged her way towards Susan and Edmund.
What Lucy meant was that (Y/n) and Peter were arguing about what had happened back at the castle.
Susan and Edmund glanced at each other and you could easily see a glimpse of worry in both of their faces. What had happened back at the castle was horrifying. Edmund was the one who had seen the bodies of Narnians lined up and piled on top of one another at the gate. It was “absolutely horrific” was how he explained it. If (Y/n) and Peter were arguing about that… Well, they couldn’t imagine how terrible Peter must have felt along with Caspian.
“Why are you so fucking stubborn?!” (Y/n) shouted at him with her arms raised. “The last time you were stubborn you almost got all of them killed! Why don’t you just realize that you need some other people’s opinion?!”
Peter marched up to her and yelled back, “Because I’m the High King! I make the final decision!”
“Oh? So you’re willing to put the rest of Narnia at risk until we’re down to the last damn man standing?! Do you realize how fucking flawed your strategy is? And why won’t you let me fight?!” (Y/n) was so close to slapping him but she couldn’t.
Caspian stood on the other side of the stone table from the argument. He would have spoken up but the last time that happened they looked at him and at the same time shouted, ‘Shut up’ with (Y/n) adding a ‘Damn it’ afterwards. It was terrifying to say the least.
Peter glared at her but didn’t say anything. Caspian could feel the tension in the air. It’s not just the tension from them arguing, it’s a bit of sexual tension.
(Y/n) didn’t say anymore or slap him after this. She knew how badly he felt about all of this. And things weren’t always like this either. They both had gotten along before they encountered Narnia. With a few arguments here and there. During their first visit they actually only had one argument, whether or not she could stay to fight or not. After they went back to Professor Kirke’s house, they had become really close. Afterwards, however, everything went downhill. For some reason, they just kept arguing.
“… What is it that you had in mind?” Peter asked (Y/n).
“Finally coming to your senses?” (Y/n) raised an eyebrow. Then she walked over towards the Stone Table that had a map of the surrounding area. She started to explain everything to both Caspian and Peter.
“How about instead of placing them in there how about here?” Caspian asked her, pointing to parts of the map to improve the strategy.
“Oh. That’s actually much better, that’s a great idea!” (Y/n) smiled at him. Peter felt a bit of jealousy in his heart but shoved it to the side. “Hey, at least I can be flexible when it comes to plans.” She glared at Peter and he rolled his eyes.
The Second Battle of Beruna. Or also known as the Battle of Beruna of the Narnian Revolution.
Peter just finished his duel with King Miraz but they had a trick up their sleeve which still ended up with a war. With (Y/n)’s strategic plan they discovered a way to fight the Telmarines and have an advantage against them.
On the battlefield, (Y/n) fought alongside Peter. Both of them saving each other’s hides here and there. They both didn’t want to admit but they had fallen in love with each other during their time in the Golden Age and it only lasted once again in the real world and back to here. From that, they wanted to protect each other as much as they could.
“(Y/n) watch out!” Peter charged at the Telmarine who went to attack her. (Y/n) moved out of the way and Peter clashed swords with him. Quickly shoving back on him, Peter was able to take him out. Unfortunately a Telmarine came from behind and he reacted too slow when (Y/n) called out his name. He got a nasty gash on his right arm but he went through the pain and stabbed the other Telmarine. Fortunately (or unfortunately, either way) for him, (Y/n) didn’t notice. By this time the Telmarines all got a call for a retreat.
When the Telmarines retreated back to the river only to encounter Lucy and Aslan along with the Water God that ‘ate’ them all up, Narnia had won.
No one noticed that Peter was hurt when they all headed back to Aslan’s How. (Y/n) was walking alongside Peter on their way back and the others were nowhere near them.
“Hey, good effort out there Pete!” (Y/n) smiled at him and slightly punched him.
“Ow! (Y/n)!” Peter flinched.
“Oh shit! Are you okay?” (Y/n) asked worriedly. They both stopped walking and she tried to examine his arm. Peter moved his arm away from her.
“I’m fine, (Y/n),” He replied. (Y/n) raised her eyebrow.
“When are you gonna stop being stubborn, Peter?” She crossed her arms and stared up at him. “Now let me see your arm.” Peter sighed and went to sit against a tree and (Y/n) kneeled besides him. She ripped parts of her clothes to wrap around his arm to make sure he wouldn’t bleed out. “We’ll ask Lucy to give her a drop of her potion from her cordial.”
Peter looked up at her as she continued to wrap parts of her clothes around his arm. She looked beautiful. Even after a battle, her beauty was just… Indescribable. Her (h/c) flowed behind her as if she was like an angel. Her shining (h/c) eyes that always held her true emotions even when she tried to hide it. Then her pink lips… How badly he wanted to just put his hand behind her neck and pull her down for a kiss.
“I’m sorry.” Peter blurted out.
“Huh?” (Y/n) stopped what she was doing and looked at him confused.
“I’m sorry, for being stubborn. I just…” He trailed off.
“You just…?”
“I honestly just wanted you to be safe. That’s why those strategies were so flawed. I wanted to protect you,” he explained looking down at the ground. (Y/n) tied the cloth around his arm tightly then moved her hand under his chin to look back up at her.
“I don’t need protection, Peter.” (Y/n) smiled softly at him.
“I - I know. I - um…” Peter went silent for a moment. “I love you.” He stared straight into her (e/c) eyes and tried to search for a reaction. (Y/n) didn’t react. She just continued to stare at him. “(Y/n)-”
(Y/n) interrupted him with a kiss.
When they parted she wrapped her arms around his neck and Peter hugged her back.
“I love you, too.”

I loooooove your bloggg! You are doing such an amazong job and Im so glad theres still people like you who keep this fandom alive 💕 Could you please write a Shuu× s.o. × Laito threesome scenario am thirsty for these two owo thankkkkkss
NSFW!! Ty so much!! Enjoy x
Having one man below you and another above you was not as warm as you thought it would be. Maybe the chill from their undead hands took some of it away, but the embarrassment of being on display like this almost bought it back. Sweat beaded on your forehead and slipped down your temples, adding to the slick slide of skin as you rubbed yourself on the pair of them like a bitch in heat, hot puffs of air escaping your lips.
“Hm,” Laito spoke from behind you, “who would’ve thought a girl like you would do something as depraved as this? A threesome, and with two brother’s no less!”
“Shut up, Laito,” Shu grunted from beneath you, hands grabbing at your hips and dragging you against his hard cock. “If she chickens out I’ll get pissed.”
A moan was pulled from your lips as Laito’s hands snaked round your chest and squeezed your breasts in his hands. Eager fingers found your nipples and pulled, causing your pussy to clench and throb around nothing.
“Just think,” Laito whispered hotly into your ear, “after this you’ll truly be ours. Having two Sakamaki boys wrapped around your finger - whatever will the girls at school think?”
“I- I don’t care,” you mumbled, “just please touch me.”
With a cruel chuckle, Laito’s left hand abandoned your breast and took your hand, guiding it down your hot body and to your soaking pussy. Both his fingers and yours circled your clit, a red flush making it’s way down your neck once you saw how riveted Shu was on your wanton display.
“Stop, I want her to come on my cock.”
“Shuuuu,” Laito whined, grinding himself on your bare ass. “Don’t you think that’s selfish?”
Shu pulled you a little further up his body, positioning you over his length and looking appreciatively at your body. Ignoring Laito, he sank you down onto himself, throwing his head back into the pillows in relief as your warmth clenched around him.
Your thighs shook as you tried to ride Shu, the humiliation and desperation almost sucking the energy out of you. Laito’s hands came to your hips and guided you, pushing you forward and pulling back, all while grinding desperately on your ass.
“Cum inside her, “ Laito asked, his cheeks a deep red, “I want to see it drip out, wanna put mine inside her too and mark her. Claim her.”
Laito’s words combined with Shu’s fingers on your clit sent you over the edge, hunched over Shu’s pleasingly cold chest. Warmth spread inside your pussy as Shu ground you down on his cock, releasing inside you as Laito had asked.
Your body rocked slightly as Laito chased his own release, the sounds coming out of his mouth absolutely obscene, and finally he came. He looked down on you, humming appreciatively at the while splatter across your back.
“Look at that, sweet thing,” he murmured, pulling you off of Shu and placing you between the both of them.
Shu delicately brushed stray hairs from your sweaty face, a smile playing on his lips, “That’s right, it’s official now. You’re ours.”

A2. With makoto and haru. Haru is in denial until almost the last minute when makoto has caught on and he has no other choice but to say something. LOVE YOUR BLOGGG.
A. Angst 2.Please just leave me alone right now.
Thank you for saying so:)Please enjoy!.
Makoto noticed that Haru had been even quieter than usual and more spaced out. He often saw Haru staring out the window in his own world but that day he just stared down at his notebook. Makoto might not have thought much of it if he hadn’t realized that Haru wasn’t taking notes.
When he asked about it after school, of course Haru shoved him off but Makoto kept it in the back of his mind.
They walked home together without much conversation besides a few grunts in response from Haru. Then Makoto noticed halfway that Haru had stopped walking at on a bridge and was leaning against it. It looked as if he was trying hard to appear casual but he was bent forward slightly, looking uncomfortable.
“Haru? You okay?” Makoto walked back.
“Un.” Haru nodded yes and slowly started walking again.
When they got to Haru’s house, Haru sat back in a chair at once. Makoto found this strange because he usually went straight to the kitchen to get a head start on dinner. He pulled out his notebook and stared reading it.
“Worried about the test?” Makoto a bit was surprised. “Sensei said he covered most of it in his lectures so we just have to study our notes.” Makoto looked over Haru’s shoulder and saw that Haru was reading a blank page of notes.
He shut the notebook at once and turned away from Makoto. “Not really.”
Makoto sat down in front of him looking worried.
“Quit doing that.” Haru snapped.
“Doing what?”
“Making that face at me. It’s annoying.” He said bitterly.
Makoto tried not to be offended and pulled out some books from his backpack. He sat down on the floor and started studying.
Some time passed with Haru fidgeting and taking deep breaths. Makoto tried to ignore him but when he snuck a glance, he saw that Haru was glistening with sweat. “I’m ganna get some water!” Makoto shot up in his seat, regretting how quickly he did so. “Want some?”
Haru shrugged and Makoto decided to bring him one anyway. The moment he set down the tall glass of water, Haru scooped it up and downed the entire thing. Makoto gaped at him as he watched his Adam’s apple bounce up and down.
“What?” Haru wiped off his lips with his shirt.
“N-nothing! Does it feel hot in here to you? I’m ganna open a window.” Makoto got up to open the windows and Haru did not protest.
Some more time passed and Haru only seemed to be getting worse. He was breathing from his mouth and bent forward so far over his notes his nose was almost touching them.
It wasn’t until Haru hiccuped loudly and dropped his pencil that Makoto looked up instinctively. He was holding his hand over his mouth and looked distinctly green.
“Haru- you’re face is poorly colored… are you feeling sick?”
Haru swallowed thickly not trusting himself to speak, but nodded, slowly lowered his hand and went back to writing. Makoto didn’t lower his gaze and despite Haru’s awareness, he ignored it.
Makoto gave up and with a sigh and went back to studying. Some more time passed before Haru looked at the clock and slammed his book shut. “It’s late. You should go home.”
Makoto looked up with surprise. “I- thought we were ganna pull an all nighter..?”
“I’ve studied enough. I’m sure I’ll pass.”
“Oh- okay…” Makoto said sadly.
Haru stood up, indicating that he would walk Makoto out and at that moment, his expression changed and his hand shot over his mouth.
“Haru?” Makoto jumped up and touched shoulder.
Haru shoved him off and backed away. “Please just leave me alone right now. Go home.” Haru ran off passed Makoto, leaving him speechless. There was no way he was going to leave if Haru was sick. So he waited, still standing in the hall with his backpack, feeling too awkward to sit down after Haru told him to leave.
He wasn’t sure what to do, his mind was swimming with thoughts. ‘Maybe Haru really is just having a bad day and went to go to sleep….’
Makoto put his hand on the door handle, pausing with conflicting thoughts. Then he heard distinct noises of coughing.
Without a second thought, Makoto ran back and threw open the door to the bathroom. “Haru!” When he saw Haru leaning over the sink with a puddle of vomit in it, he felt awful but was relieved that he stayed.
“Mako- to- I told you to leave.” Haru said angrily.
“Look at you, you are sick!” Makoto came in and felt his forehead.
Haru slapped his hand away and rinsed out the sink.
“You’re feverish too.”
“It’s fine.” Haru insisted. “I’m just going to bed anyway.”
“It’s not fine! Haru, you need to pay more attention to your health.” Makoto was stunned.
“Leave me alone. I’m fine.” Haru tried to walk passed Makoto but he felt a suddenly dizzy spell and lost his balance. Makoto grabbed him and he pulled away. Leaning against the door for support instead. “Please…”
Makoto was shocked when he heard a tone of sudden desperation in Haru’s voice.
“Just leave- I can’t- I can’t- hold it in any longer.” He said with shame.
Makoto clenched his fists and suddenly yelled at Haru. “I can’t leave you alone knowing that you’re sick!”
Haru was surprised to hear Makoto yell and looked up at him, suddenly looking vulnerable. Haru doubled over and his knees buckled. Makoto caught him and helped lower him to the floor. He noticed Haru was shaking despite his skin being hot.
“I- don’t- feel good…” he admitted in a whisper.
“Don’t worry Haru. I’m right here.” Makoto rubbed his back and head softly as he was in his arms.
He slowly helped Haru sit over the toilet and at once, Haru was leaning over it, puking into the bowl. His coughs were soft and followed by short gagging noises. He was sick many times in a row before he finally got a break.
He leaned against Makoto’s shoulder panting and dripping with sweat. “There’s no reason for you be here. It doesn’t make a difference.” Haru told him.
Makoto chuckled. “Maybe not to you. But to me, it makes all the difference.”

Johnny
Listen: x
You stood at the entrance of the back door of the SM building, pacing back and forth in front of the key pad. You’ve met Johnny here a number of times, but each and every time he would be waiting for you at the back before the two of you headed somewhere together. You hadn’t even realized that you didn’t have a way to enter the building.Bored of rolling around back and forth on your bed, unable to fall asleep, you decided to visit Johnny with some energizing snacks. Seeing that Johnny hadn’t come home for a couple days, you knew he was probably hard at practice again. There were only a number of days left before his debut and although the time you spent together lessened significantly, you were excited for him.You knew he had been waiting for this day for a long time now, and for this comeback, he would be the only member who hasn’t debuted yet.You breathed into your hands and rubbed them back and forth to keep them warm. There was always the option of calling Johnny but you figured it would be better if you didn’t bother him, opting to catch one of his members leaving the building. It seemed like luck was on your side when you saw a hooded figure with a sharp jawline and a deep red fringe come from the door.He locked eyes with yours as you smiled brightly at him.“Taeil!”He put his fingers to his lips and looked around to make sure you didn’t attract any unwanted attention.Since it was already 1:30 in the morning, you were lucky that there weren’t many people around. You covered your mouth with one hand as he walked towards you, his voice a low whisper.“_________! I’m so glad to see you! It’s been a while.”You smiled at him, keeping your voice equally low.“Of course it’s been long! With your popularity, I would only be able to speak to you if I attended a fan-sign.”Taeil chuckled shyly.“Don’t say that, you should visit us some time. When things get more settled I’ll tell Johnny to bring you to one of our hangouts.”You nodded excitedly.“I would be happy to see the others too.”Taeil laughed.“Speaking of Johnny, you’re here to see him right? He’s been practicing real late these days. Here, let me open the door for you.”Taeil punched in the key code as he opened the heavy metal door. “Go on in. He’s been a bit stressed these days but I’m sure he’ll feel a lot better after seeing you.”You thanked Taeil before entering the brightly lit building. You tip-toed down the hallway before turning into a corridor filled with practice rooms. There were different name tags on the door of each practice room. You passed by many big names before seeing ‘NCT’ marked on the last one.The door was open slightly as you heard music reach your ears.As you peeked inside, you noticed Johnny’s tall build dancing to the beat.He was wearing a pair of black track pants and a dark grey tee. His long brown hair that framed his face was slightly damp from all the practice but he didn’t let that bother him.You stood quietly by the door watching him dance smoothly with an endearing smile on your face until the song ended. As he walked over to the couch to pick up his towel and wipe his face, you opened the door more and clapped, walking towards him.He looked towards the entrance, the weariness leaving his face as he saw you approach him, holding up a lunchbox in your hands.“__________!”It only took him two long strides before he reached you, pulling you into his arms.Although his shirt was soaked with sweat, it didn’t bother you as you wrapped your arms around him lovingly. You had wanted to see Johnny more than anything although you didn’t want him to know that.He released you from his arms to take a good look at your face, a wide smile playing on his lips.“Sorry I didn’t message you these past couple days, you must have been worried.”You smiled and shook your head.“I knew you would be busy with practice. I just wanted to make sure you were eating well.”You took a seat by the couch as Johnny sat down next to you.Without glancing at him, you could tell he had his eyes trained on you, admiring your profile. He reached over to curl a strand of your hair behind your ear.You bit your bottom lip from smiling too widely.“What?”Johnny shook his head.“Nothing.”You hit his leg teasingly as he chuckled. You opened the box with a sandwich in it and handed it to Johnny.“Sorry, it’s a bit simple, it wasn’t really a planned visit or anything.”You smiled sheepishly at him as he ruffled your hair with one hand, picking up the neatly cut sandwich and taking a bite with his other.“Tastes great.”You smiled brightly at his compliment before opening the lid of the smoothie cup.“Drink this too!”He eyed it suspiciously.“Are those one of your health shakes again…”You shook your head and handed it to him.“No celery in it this time. There’s peach, mango, pineapple, strawberry…”He took a sip as you giggled.“And one carrot.”His eyes widened but you held the cup up so he would continue drinking it.“That’s the only vegetable I put in this time! Really!”Johnny brought the cup down.“One whole carrot? Seriously?”He shook his head but laughed.“Well at least it actually tastes good this time.”You smiled.“See, I told you! Not all healthy stuff tastes bad Johnny.”He nodded as he leaned over to feed you part of the sandwich.“No, you eat! I shouldn’t be eating past two, besides I had a big dinner.”Johnny shook his head and continued to hold up his sandwich until you took a bite.Once you did, he leaned back comfortably on the couch, finishing his sandwich and taking a sip of his smoothie every now and then.“When you said that it wasn’t a planned visit, did you mean it was on a whim? As in, you were trying to fall asleep, but couldn’t 'cause you missed me too much?”Johnny glanced at you with a smirk on his face as he wiggled his eyebrows at you.You hit him on the arm lightly.“Well, that. And the fact that I didn’t think you would be eating properly.”Although you wanted to seem casual, it was true that you visited Johnny on a whim because you missed him. However, with all the stress he was under while preparing for his debut, you didn’t want to seem like a clingy girlfriend and put more stress on him.He finished the last sip of his smoothie as he placed his arm over your shoulder.“Alright, let’s go then.”You widened your eyes.“Go? As in go home? Together?”Johnny laughed and nodded his head.“Yeah, I was actually going to head home after I finished practice tonight but having you meet me here was extra special.”He stood up and pinched your cheek lightly.“Let’s go home.”The walk home was full of fun and games. Now that it was nearing three, the streets were quiet and the the only source of brightness were the dimly lit street lights that led the way. You would poke Johnny’s side and run ahead to the next post lamp as he tightened his hold on his bag before chasing you with his long limbs. The long walk home was cut short when the two of you were together. You couldn’t remember the last time you and Johnny spent time at ease in public. When you arrived at your flat and tried to fish out your keys from your pocket, Johnny hugged you teasingly from behind as you tried to get out of his strong hold.As soon as you made it inside your home, Johnny dropped the bags he was holding and carried you into your bedroom causing a squeal to escape your lips.He placed you down on your bed as he lay down next to you, stretching and letting out a loud yawn before lazily rolling towards you, placing his arm comfortably over your waist. You glanced at him and noticed his eyes were closed as he breathed in and out steadily.
You reached over to place your hand on his cheek.
The corners of his lips turned up as he pulled you closer, bringing his lips close to your ear.
“Sorry I’m not home more often.”
He mumbled in your ear as you snuggled closer to him, shaking your head lightly.
There was a pause before he spoke again.
“I have to move in with the guys this weekend… I’ll be home even less now.”You picked up the hesitation in his voice, afraid of how you would take the news.
However, you smiled and hugged him tightly.
“I expected it already. Don’t worry, I’ll be okay on my own. Even if it means seeing you less, I’m really happy for you. Johnny, you worked hard.”
As you looked up to glance at him, you realized he had opened his eyes to gaze back at you.
“Thanks babe, I knew you would understand.”
You smiled widely, propping yourself up slightly on his chest to get a good look at his face before placing a light kiss on his cheek.
“I’m happy enough with you beside me today.”
Johnny wrapped his arms around you.
“I know we didn’t get much time together today… I promise I’ll be back early tomorrow.”
He smirked as he leaned up to whisper in your ear.
“Since it’s late I’ll let you rest today, but I can’t promise I’ll be a gentleman tomorrow.”
Your cheeks turned pink as you hit him lightly on the chest. He fell back down on the bed chuckling lightly.
He pulled you in a tight hug as he whispered in your ear one last time.
“Thanks for staying by my side even when I’m not always by yours… I love you.”
