How's it going in the NPS?

We were told that, when referring to the LGBTQ+ community, we were only to refer to the LGB community (though some are suggesting it may be that they only want us to stop using the T). This is after we were told to comb through our websites and take out any mention of 'pronouns.'

We were told that likely, all probationary employees will be fired.

We were told that we likely would not be hiring ANY seasonals this summer. My bosses request to extend my contract was denied.

We were told to start looking in the private sector. :)

If you’re an American federal employee and got an email saying “it’s ok to quit your job.” Do not, for the love of everything, quit your job. This is purely a scare tactic to get rid of as many people as possible without legal consequences.
