The final part of my Fire Emblem Fates review is out now!

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I was stuck looking after a new foster dog that me and my family are currently looking after, so I was AFK for a while and didn’t really had the time to push out new content for a month.

Wanted to kind of really experiment with this piece and its atmosphere by messing with the different sizes of the custom brushes I that I used. There was a moment in where I tried to make sure the grass blended well with the ground, as I felt making an outline for it made it felt out of place. Also did a lot of rearranging with the petals to make sure they didn't stack on top of each other. (I know there's a way to adjust the brush's setting to prevent that, but I haven't quite figured it out yet.)

Felt like I could've adjusted Silas' cowlick better if I had more references of him in different angles. Like many it was my first time drawing him, so I'm not to judgmental about it or to anyone else that are featured in this piece. Just have to keep experimenting as they say. ________________________________

Saw that FE Heroes (I don't play anymore) now got banners featuring child versions of certain characters and they recently did Corrin and the Nohr sibs...which is cute but WHERE IS SILAS!!!!

Anyway to fill the void I drew a Silas in place of one of the Corrins, trying to emulate the original artist. I thought of doing a male and female Corrin ver but the unit is a dragonstone unit (????) and I also did not want to make any more effort than I already did. Mimicking art styles are hard...

Anyway, I put the official art as comparison. I think it came out well!
