common questions i get asked abt reader/characters in my smaus:

1) the lore behind ino’s fear of getting oiled up is that reader gave him a massage once and hands (and fingers) went wandering (into ino’s butt) and he liked it more than he’s willing to admit but he’s too scared to open that door again (for now)

2) sukuna is true form sukuna in my smaus

3) reader is a hitman and works with toji and shiu in shius smau

4) reader has beef with sukuna in uraumes smaus because it’s silly, i think reader is a bit jealous of uraumes unwavering devotion to him

5) reader isn’t nanako or mimiko’s mom, i follow cannon so reader is just geto’s s/o to them

Unfortunately adding Raph and Mikey is not in my plans and will not happen, as programming the game has proven time consuming enough as is with just Donnie and Leo.

In fact, Leo was going to be the only romanceable character at first but things changed, and adding Donnie was just better for what I planned too, but writing all the different encounters, interactions and the way dialogue changes is much easier when it's only them two as romanceable options.

Would you mind if someone wrote a fic using the tiny-[insert character] idea?

I was brainrotting hard over an AU where everyone has a tiny version of themselves, who acts like a child with no adult like restrictions (an unleashed inner child, you could say)

Oh for that you don't even have to give me credit/mention me unless you really want to, I didn't come up with the original idea of tiny-fying your faves, that's rather common and comes in many flavours!

If you're directly using my lore and stuff, like actively using my ideas, yeah I would like and prefer to be mentioned (and notified, as I've said before!), but if you got your own original spin that happens to resemble and/or was sparked by me or some other fan's ideas, that's an entirely different topic

That's perfectly fine! Comics, cartoons, movies, AUs--so long as the central character is a Super, it's fair game. We get a little more specific in the FAQ, but you're good to go for a Smallville fic~

A: This is a gift exchange centered around Steddie! Each person who participates will create something for another participant and receive a present in return. To join, simply fill out the form with your favorite Steddie tropes and squicks. Once the sign-up period ends, you will be matched with a gift recipient for whom you’ll create something based on their responses to the questionnaire. Someone else will be doing the same for you. Half the fun of the event is the surprise element, so be sure to keep your giftee and idea secret until posting time!

A: Theres a specific channel on the Discord server where you can volunteer, but we will soon have a separate form to fill out if your interest is just in betaing.

❄️Q: What happens if I have to drop out for some reason?

A: If something comes up that prevents you from completing your gift before the end of the posting period, please let the mods know as soon as possible so that we can get a pinch hitter to fill in for you and ensure your giftee still receives a special present! We will have a check-in that runs from December 6th to December 8th to give people the opportunity to report any issues they’re having then as well.

how i make smaus

i've gotten this question so many times and i swear to you i am not gatekeeping! i wanted to make this post so i could add it to a faq i am making!

i use two apps: social maker & social dummy

NEITHER OF THESE APPS ARE STILL ON THE APP STORE!

1. HOW TO GET THESE APPS

so in order to get these apps you need to get it from someone else's apple account. to do this you can buy it off of someone who bought it before it was taken off of the us appstore (this is apple only) the seller i used and trust is @/whocse on twitter. YOU ARE BUYING THEM FROM THEM, they are not free.

WHEN YOU DOWNLOAD THE APPS FROM THEM MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE STORE AND PRESS RESTORE PURCHASES! THIS IS SO IMPORTANT BECAUSE THIS ALLOWS YOU TO HAVE MORE FEATURES/ACCESS TO ALL FEATURES.

2. HOW TO USE THE APPS

i use social maker more, this is what i use for imessage chats and group chats, instagram accounts, tweets and twitter dms. i prefer this app and it's is easy to use. click on the icons and it will show you how to use them

social dummy is used for more casual things, i've used it to make fake youtube videos, the lockscreens, and fake phone calls, but it has options to make more like spotify, snapchat, netflix, the news, and browsers.... as i'm writing this i'm realizing i should be utilizing this app more...

Answering some questions from the interest check form

Thanks for the enthusiastic response to the interest check form so far! We'll be keeping it open for a while so feel free to continue to express your thoughts on the event.

Answers to some of the questions that have been submitted through the form:

How accessible the event will be: how long will we have to make things, are there limits or expected word count etc?

There is no expected word count and no word limit, and you can earn points for any fic you post. HOWEVER there are additional points you can earn for incremental word count starting at 1k. TL;DR there are no expectations but there are goals.

I would suggest making it like, full points for first fic and then partial points for any subsequent fics for the same prompt to make a fic not seem worthless? And maybe making "first" be the whole day? Those are just suggestions though

The FASTEST FINGERS FIRST bonus will apply separately from the points you receive for posting a fic and for word count. So you can still earn a lot of points just by posting, even if you aren't the fastest! We're hoping this balances out for longer works that people want to spend more time and energy on as well. :)

You are also free to post both one-shots and multi-chapters, but points will scale differently for both. More information about the point matrix will be made available closer to the event!

Thinking about Lan Sizhui teaching Jin Ling how to play guqin.

Thinking about Jin Ling absolutely bored to tears by the fundamentals until he hears how beautifully Lan Sizhui plays and suddenly takes an interest (in the guqin, definitely the guqin, he’s interested in the guqin only, okay??)

Thinking about Jin Ling practicing outside of classes because he wants to impress Lan Sizhui by how much he’s improved and wants to make him proud and wants to see his face light up with a smile—I mean, what? No no no, he just wants to show initiative to learn, that’s all there is to it, nothing more. Nothing at all.

Thinking about Lan Sizhui finding Jin Ling asleep on his guqin after a night of wearing himself out with extra practice and gently waking him up to safely escort him back to his room so he doesn’t get caught by their seniors. Meanwhile, Jin Ling sleepily leans against him on the walk back to his room because it’s normal, he’s just tired, it’s obviously normal because Lan Sizhui slips his hand into his and smiles and Jin Ling’s heart feels like it’s on fire. Oh no.

Thinking about Jin Ling opening up to Lan Sizhui about his nightmares from all the trauma he’s endured and Lan Sizhui staying to play guqin for him until he falls asleep, each note chasing away every bad dream that tries to disturb him.

Thinking about them practicing guqin alone together the next day. And the day after. And the day after that—and they really are practicing but it’s a little hard to focus when Lan Sizhui keeps putting his hands over Jin Ling’s to move them to the correct strings, and Jin Ling’s face is a breath away from Lan Sizhui’s every time he leans over to help him.

It’s just guqin practice, that’s all there is to it, perfectly normal. 🩵💛
