Tag 9 people you want to get to know!
Thanks for the tag: @golden-knights-of-the-realm :)
Last song listened to: Biblical Love by Flower Face. I would sell my soul to listen to this song again. But genuinely the first time I listened to it, it was a cold morning so I went outside to watch the sun rise and wanted to listen to flower faces new album (ff is my goat) and this song while watching the sunrise… I felt my souls ascend.
Last movie watched: The Boy in the Band (2020) it is a remake of a 1970s film following a group of queer men at a party, when they get an unexpected visit and have to navigate that drama that brings. I like this movie and how it doesn’t overly play into queer stereotypes. And a neat fun fact, all the actors in the movie were also queer.
Currently watching: Bodyguard (2018) and The Power of the Dog (2021) (idk if those dates are accurate but oh well!). Bodyguard is a British series the first episode was so captivating but I kinda lost it when the man (the bodyguard) and the woman (the politician) started sleeping together, that is so painful so I’m trying not to drop the show but that plot point has killed the momentum to keep going. Power of the Dog I am 5 minutes into so I don’t have anything to say yet.
Currently reading: nothing. I hate that I’ve stopped read in as much as I used too. Literally 2 years ago my reading goal was 30 books and I could complete that. This year (2024) it was 5 and I’ve only read 2… it’s so bad I know, don’t even…
Currently obsessed with: ice hockey and cookie run kingdom. During the holidays I for some reason become obsessed with cookie run and idk why it happens yearly, same time same date etc. I would also say motorsports but since all the series I watch (f1, indycar, f2, f3 and f1a) are over I’ve been focusing on ice hockey more.
Sorry for not tagging people, I know that negates the whole thing but I always feel bad if I tag someone and leave out someone else :(

hiii i love your posts about f4 thai so much!!! may i ask you a favor to make analysis posts about gorya's relationship with kavin and mj as friends? i find it very heartwarming that gorya has gotten close to these two and their relationship growth as friends from kavin and mj doubting about thymegorya to helping gorya solving the hana's problem one and now they are completely besties! i hope you have a nice day thank youu~~
hiiiiii why thank you for enjoying these unhinged moments deep from my psyche!
ok…
this is hard, because i’m not sure i can rewatch all the episodes to do them justice, but i’m just going free style from top of my head the moments when MJ and Kavin really created the #ProtectGorya #TeamGorya movement.
1. MJ x Kavin rooting for Gorya back when Hana started playing her twisted little game... inventing the protect Gorya tribe.
2. MJ x Kavin baby sitting Lita in order to exhaust the energy ball and thus keep her occupied lmao and AWAY from Thyme.
3. MJ x Kavin grunting with disapproval when Thyme “moved on” with Lita and MJ famously declaring himself as #TeamGorya. (also bonus coins to Ren shaking his head in that episode for like the whole time. his expressions were WTF and perma-annoyed.
4. MJ X Kavin investigating Talay. Bonus coins to Ren again for actual saving Gorya.
5. MJ x Kavin baby sitting Thyme in a bar and beating up bunch of people to protect Gorya. can't remember what Ren was doing? was he away? oh yes he was overseas. altho bad boi MJ lost track of Thyme since skirts appeared... so much minus points for that...
6. the hospital prank being their idea— i just know it! MJ x Kavin prank Gorya into confessing her love to Thyme, taking notes from daddy Ren.
7. MJ finding Gorya and letting her know where her crush Ren was. what a sneaky and cute behaviour that was. LMAO. MJ truly be captain of all ships while sailing solo huh.
8. MJ appointing Kavin as the deputy commander of our thyme x gorya ship by sending him deep behind enemies lines ie the floral shop to get saucy detail from Kaning not anticipating or perhaps foreseeing LOL thus formed another ship 🚢
9. MJ x Kavin used to seeing Thyme get beaten up don’t even bat an eye lid when his “gf” leaves him on the floor injured by kicking more than once... and just honour the development by simple remark: what have you done wrong? it's like become accepted that Thyme deserves it. LMAO.
10. Kavin lifting Gorya and handing her as a birthday present has to be my favourite moment of all i think!
Although Ren has done LOADS to help our love birds too! so overall. hope this is what you were looking for bestie. 💕

Masterlist // AO3
Geum Jan Di watched her first friend from Shinhwa High walk way, she couldn't look away from his back, strong and broad. Jan-Di smiled softly until he was swallowed by the crowd and even then she stood, eyes unfocused fingers rubbing where his lips were minutes earlier. 'Good job, sunbae.' She thought before shaking her head slightly.
The other members of the F4 gang stood watching her, all concerned for their new friend. So Yi-Jung and Song Woo-Bin were contemplating how to cheer her up when Gun Jun-Pyo interjected. "Aish, Let's go. I can cheer you up." He reached for her hand but she skipped out of the way.
"Thank but not needed. I am fine. I will miss him but he promised me that he would be happy this way. I decided I am going to trust sunbae. I am going to head home." Jan-Di declined his offer and that second her phone rang. "Hello? Did you get to your gate okay? Sunbae, did you forget something?" She laughed lightly. She listened for a moment. "No. I was just leaving. I will be fine, I told you that two days ago." Jan-Di rolled her eyes. "Safe travels, sunbae. Call me when you land, yeah? I will call Unnie if you don't." She laughed again, before growing quiet. "Bye Ji-Hoo." She snapped her phone shut, taking a deep breath. "Okay, I am now heading home. Woo-Bin sunbae, Yi-Jung sunbae, Jun-Pyo, thank for letting me accompany you to seeing Ji-Hoo sunbae off. I will be leaving first then." She bowed to them before leaving the airport. F3 watching her as she did.
"You think she will really be okay?" Yi-Jung asked.
Woo-Bin shrugged. "Were they really that close? The had run ins, yeah. but like when did they swap numbers? When did they get this close?"
"Probably Seo-Hyun noona's doing." Yi-Jung said. "Ji-Hoo was saying about how he had plans the other day. Wonder if they had plans together, he had been unreasonably moody a few days ago."
"Enough about those two. Let's go." Jun-Pyo demanded. The other two nodded and they left the airport.
A few days had passed. Shinhwa High was the same, Jan-Di was bullied by the other students but it wasn't as intense, however some of the girls had taken offense at her being the reason of their beloved Ji-Hoo leaving. Jan-Di was trying to balance school, her family, bullies, a job and the demands the F3 members put on her as their 'mascot'. She had been enjoying her lunch when it was rudely interrupted by a screaming crowd. She looked up expected Yi-Jung and Woo-Bin together or Jun-Pyo by himself based of the shrillness of the screams. However there wasn't anyone by their entrance. She turned back to her lunch but was distracted by a shadow on her table and the complete silence of the room. She looked up, swallowing her last bite of food in her mouth. She jumped up throwing her arms around his neck.
"Ji-Hoo sunbae! I missed you! Why didn't you tell me you were returning? Wait, why are you here? What about Seo-Hyun unnie? When did you get back? Did you see the others?" Jan-Di rattled off, letting go of Ji-Hoo. Ji-Hoo smiled down at the girl, who was frantically packing up her things.
"What's wrong?" Ji-Hoo asked. “Didn’t you miss me?”
"It's not my place to offer but I think a venue change will do us both some good. I can feel my skin melting from the heat of the glares coming my way. And you don't like being the center of attention." Jan-Di explained. Ji-Hoo only nodded slightly in agreement, wondering again at how she learned to read him so quickly.
"Since you are only thinking of my benefit, I will suggest the F4 clubhouse. It technically is my place to offer. Shall we?" Ji-Hoo offered his arm and together they slipped through the crowd. Once free Ji-Hoo began answer Jan-Di's questions.
"I wanted to surprise you. That is why I didn't tell you. I came back for a few reasons, Seo-Hyun noona is fine, she told me to tell you hello and also she requests that you text her more often. I got back yesterday but needed to get settled and the guys knew I was coming back. I told them to keep it a secret from you." Ji-Hoo explained while preparing tea. "Yi-Jung kept me up to date on the going-ons over here." He looked at Jan-Di pointedly. she avoided his gaze, able to string a sentence together. She ran her index finger around the rim of her teacup, no longer concerned about her lunch.
"Jun-Pyo and the others kept me company when...I was alone. I would try to get them to lay off but you know how they are." Jan-Di shrugged, still speaking into her cup. "I tried and tried but...but I didn't mind. I will say that they calmed down significantly though, once the newness of me wore off." She smiled up at Ji-Hoo. "Don't worry, I still refuse to call Jun-Pyo sunbae. He seems tense lately though."
Ji-Hoo sat down with a sigh, shaking his head. "I am sorry. I feel responsible for your torment with them. I shouldn't have left." Ji-Hoo took a sip of tea looking into the middle distance. "Jun-Pyo is trying to comprehend where you stand. Not often does he have someone in his life solely for the sake of being there. However your presence may be causing trouble for him as well. We will have to see." Ji-Hoo trailed off.
"What are you saying, Ji-Hoo sunbae?" Jan-Di asked. Ji-Hoo smiled softly.
"I am not saying anything. I know that a girl like you is shaking things up just by being as close as you are. Take no offense, please." Ji-Hoo ruffled her bangs. "Class will be starting soon. I will see you later." Ji-Hoo helped Jan-Di out of her chair, taking the tea tray out of her hands.
"It's nice to know that I wasn't too late." He murmured under his breath turning away. Jan-Di watched him walk away wanting to ask what he meant but decided to keep quiet.
"Sunbae, I need to hand to the science labs, so I will see you later." Jam-Di said.
"Better hurry, don't want you being late on account of me and all." Ji-Hoo uncharacteristically hesitated. Jan-Di waited. "Do-Can-I mean-Can I see you after class? I can take you home after?" Ji-Hoo asked.
"Of course, our spot?" Jan-Di confirmed. He nodded. Jan-Di beamed up at him, eye twinkling and teeth showing. Her happiness making his breath catch. "Ji-Hoo sunbae, I am glad you are back. I missed you."
"What am I supposed to say to that?" Ji-Hoo asked. Jan-di looked up at him in confusion. He huffed a laugh and leaned down bringing his hands up to her cheeks.
Ji-Hoo pressed his lips to Jan-Di's forehead, lingering for a moment.
"I will see you after class. Now get going." Ji-Hoo pulled away, relishing in the stunned look on Jan-Di's face. ‘Is this how she looked after I kissed her in the airport? How did I ever walk away from her?'
The day came to an end. The school halls echoing with the frantic whispers of the students, rumors already flying about what happened at lunch. Jan-Di was glad for the rumors, it turned everyone's attention away from her and back to F4 who had finally been reconnected. She left her last class nerves finally catching up with her. 'I thought I was over him, but he comes back and I am just as lost as before.' She thought to herself. Distracted as she was, she didn't notice Gu Jun-Pyo right outside, The girls were screaming but she missed even that.
"Hey, Laundry-Girl. You really going to ignore me like that? Where are you manners?" He demanded. Jan-Di stopped, turning to him, dropping into a bow.
"Sorry, Jun-Pyo. I didn't see you there. Did you need something? I am in a slight hurry. If it can wait, I will call you." Jan-Di said. Jun-Pyo peered at her closely.
"Are you sick or some shit? You are never this nice to me. What is going on with you?" Jun-Pyo demanded. Jan-Di ran her hands through her hair. She reached out and grabbed his hand.
"Can I ask you a question? Nevermind. I am fine. I have to go." Jan-Di pulled away. Jun-Pyo grabbed her hand again.
"He came all this way for you. He didn't want to leave in the first place. if you have taught me anything, it is to trust in my feelings. Also you are no coward. Just go. okay?" Jun-Pyo said.
"Gu Jun-Pyo are you trying to cheer me up? The great Gu Jun-Pyo is worried about little old Geum Jan-Di?" Jan-Di laughed, her smile not fading. "I'm not scared, I will have you know."
"I know that. I was just reminding you. And I am more concerned you depressed attitude would have on my friends. especially Ji-Hoo if you planned on rejecting him." Jun-Pyo waved off a girl who was trying to get his attention. "Speaking of, you should get going. Don't make him wait too long." Jun-Pyo playfully ruffed her hair. "contrary to this school rumor mill, I am glad to have met you, Laundry-Girl. That is the last time I will say anything on the subject. Now get going." Jun-Pyo nudged her firmly in the direction of the doors.
"Thanks Jun-Pyo. You really are a good friend." Jan-Di finally let her smile fall. "I will be leaving first then." Jan-Di hurried to her locker and then walked down the familiar path to the bench where she first saw Ji-Hoo playing the violin.
As Jan-Di walked she couldn't help but think back on the few moments they had shared together, the many times he had saved her from emotional humiliations and physical hurts. The more she thought on Ji-Hoo the more she realized that she was never over him. She made him leave-pushed him away hoping he would find happiness, not wanting her selfishness to be what brought him sadness. 'Am I what he really wants? Am I only convenient? He is too good for me. Maybe this is a mistake...' Jan-Di stopped a few feet away from the bench.
Ji-Hoo sat perfectly poised and patiently waiting. She stepped forward, the sound of her shoes catching his attention. He looked up, smiling wide, Jan-Di felt her anxiousness ease slightly. "Jan-Di, I am glad to see you again. I have something-"
"Why did you come back really? Seo-Hyun unnie was what you wanted isn't it? what could have happened to bring you all the way back here so quickly. And don't tell me it was me. If I am the cause of your sadness, I don't know what I will do." Jan-Di's voice cracked slightly, eyes beginning to sting.
"Jan-Di, I did come back for you. but you have never once since meeting you ever thought you brought me sadness. You have only brought me happiness. You expanded my horizons, showed me how to look inside myself. This trip to Paris was only to confirm what I already knew. I loved Seo-Hyun habitually. I once loved her but I grew up and at some point realized our relationship was better when platonic rather than romantic." Ji-Hoo said. He stopped seeing Jan-Di's anxiety was not soothed, he pulled her into a tight hug. "I love you, Geum Jan-Di. I have for a while now, it just took me too long to realize that. I was afraid I was too late and someone had swept in during my absence to heal your broken heart."
"No. No one. I made my position as F4 mascot very clear while you were away and spent the few days running from their demands." Jan-Di said. She froze finally understanding what Ji-Hoo said. "Sunbae, are you-did you-I am-what?" She gaped at the older man. He laughed and nodded, tightening his embrace.
"Yes, ma'am. I said what I said. Let me have the honor of dating you, please." Ji-Hoo pressed a kiss into her hair. He tried to keep the nerves out of his voice.
"Ji-Hoo sunbae, you really mean that don't you? You love me? As much as I love you? I was so happy when I heard Seo-Hyun was leaving, I thought maybe you would finally see me. But then I realized I would rather have you as a friend then not at all so I held back. I couldn't stomach the idea of you together, I just kept my brave face on hoping that I would be over you by the time you got back and then you came back and I wasn't over you. I wasn't over you, Yoon Ji-Hoo." Jan-Di's voice broke on a small sob and with it Ji-Hoo's heart. "I love you too." Jan-Di cried. Ji-Hoo pulled away using his fingers to wipe her tears before pulling her into a gentle kiss, tasting of salt.
"Don't cry, my darling. Everything is fine." Ji-Hoo said. Jan-Di sniffled trying to pull herself together. "I am sorry, I made you cry again."
"I'm fine. I am just a little overwhelmed." Jan-Di took a deep breath, shaky on the exhale. "Let's get some tea, yeah?"
"Yeah. It'll be my treat." Ji-Hoo tucked Jan-Di's arm in his and together they walked to his motorcycle.
*******************************************************************************************
So what did you think? a very niche pairing in a very niche fandom. It was just to make me feel better. This will be part of a series: The Miscellaneous Adventures of Geum Jan-Di and Yoon Ji-Hoo.

Seriously the dynamic between Jan Di and F3 might be the sweetest thing in this show. From start to finish those boys are the definition of ride or die for Jan Di and it’s the best thing ever.
God. Jan Di. She’s so stupid. Like. God. I can’t.
And who is there to rescue her? F3. Every single time. Ughhh. I love their relationship.

See Me
Summary: It was perhaps the worst day in Ignis's little life. It seemed like everything was going wrong. Why couldn't anyone just see him and notice how upset he was? See him and try to help?
Why couldn't someone just see him?
A/n: This is the second prompt I just couldn't turn down for my friend @bgn846 for our f3s!!!
The prompt was little Ignis meeting Cor or Clarus for the first time and what the meeting would be like! My brain ran away with a bit more whump then I thought, but I still hope it's an enjoyable read!
You can also read on AO3 at: https://archiveofourown.org/works/21679642
Enjoy! :D
Word Count: 3025
--------------------------
Today had to be one of the worst days of six year old Ignis’s life.
So many things had gone wrong in such a short span of time.
Why couldn’t anybody see him? See just how hard he was working or ask him about his missteps? All day it had felt like he either made a blunder… or was merely overlooked.
First he had mixed up his school work and the tutor had snapped at him for making such an easy mistake. ‘Wasn’t he supposed to be more aware than that? An Adviser can’t afford to make these sorts of little mistakes.’ Ignis had nodded and pretended like the words didn’t hurt. He would just try harder and strive to do better... even if he had stayed up late to finish all the extra work he was given. It was okay.
Ignis could handle it.
Then came lunchtime, Ignis had waited patiently outside his Uncles office. Only the man didn’t show. His Uncle had sent someone to let Ignis into the room and let him know that he couldn’t join his nephew today. A meeting had run over late and he sent his apologies and a note saying he would definitely see him for dinner. Ignis tucked the note inside his little vest and pretended like he hadn’t been looking forward to spending some time with his Uncle who he hadn’t seen properly in a few days. The man was busy and it gave Ignis an idea of what was to come. Tucking the extra cookie he had brought for his Uncle into the corner of his lunchbox he finished his sandwich alone in the man’s office. It was okay.
Ignis could handle it.
Then came his time with Noctis. The Prince had refused to listen to him about the game they had been playing. He was obviously making up his own rules and rules were meant to be followed, weren’t they? Wasn’t it his job to teach Noctis these things and show him the right way? So Ignis had tried to explain that no… certain pieces couldn’t just jump ahead five spaces and no… he couldn’t just take however many cards he wanted on his turn. However, with every rule he tried to correct it only seemed to make Noctis more and more angry until finally…
“No! I wanna play this way! You… you’re being stupid and m-mean and dumb! I wish… I wish you’d g-go away!” Noctis had cried out before the four year olds strong emotions had taken over. He’d pushed over their board game and burst into tears creating the loudest racket Ignis had ever heard.
The next thing Ignis knew, the door to the playroom was being quickly opened and nanny and King Regis were rushing inside. Both grown ups were wearing a look of panic and trying to figure out what was going on as Noctis wailed in the middle of the room surrounded by his board game pieces.
“Ignis? Ignis what is the meaning of this?!” Nanny had instantly scolded, taking a step forward.
It wasn’t okay.
Ignis couldn’t handle it.
Before either of the grown up’s could say anything, before Ignis could hear another scolding word or could see the disappointment in the King’s face he did the only thing he could think of.
He ran.
Ignoring the calls of his name, Ignis ran and ran and ran until he didn’t think his legs could carry him a step further.
Why did it feel like he couldn’t do anything right?
Why did it feel like no matter how much he was trying it wasn’t enough?
Why did it feel like he was only seen for his mistakes?
Tears began to blur his vision as he ran around another corner and found himself in a small courtyard filled with trees, flowers and grass. Still, the beauty of the place was easily lost in his frantic bid to get away.
Before long his legs couldn’t keep up their momentum and he slowed down, ducking behind a few chrysanthemum bushes and plopping down on the ground. He drew his knees up to his chest, trying to catch his breath as tears continued to prick at his eyes.
He wished he was home.
He wished he had his stuffed moogle, Teacake.
He wished his Uncle was there with him and most of all…
He wished someone would just see him and understand how tough it was!
Burying his face into his knees he finally let his tears fall, no longer having to act like the little adult everyone expected of him.
“Hey? Hey, kid? You alright?”
A gruff voice instantly startled Ignis. His head snapping up from where he was hidden against his knees to find piercing blue eyes staring back at him. A tough and rugged looking soldier was peering at him from over the bushes he had hidden behind and had claimed as his haven. The man wasn’t quite as old as King Regis, but he looked ten times scarier.
Being caught in this moment of weakness and feeling so miserable did nothing to stop his tears and Ignis found himself apologizing over and over again.
“I-I’m sorry! I’m sorry I… I’m s-s-sorry!” he stammered, trying to wipe his eyes quickly to hide his childish tears.
“Woah! Easy there, kid. What are you apologizing for?” the man asked, looking equal parts worried and uneasy. He carefully made his way around the flower bushes, moving slowly as if that might keep the kid from taking off like a terrified chipmunk.
Ignis sniffled miserably and pushed his glasses up as he wiped at his eyes now red-rimmed and puffy.
“F-For crying and… and m-making Noct angry and… and his M-Majesty angry and… tut-tutor angry,” he listed off between quiet sobs.
Ignis missed the look of shock over his words and after a moment the soldier knelt in front of him.
“That’s… quite a list of people you got angry at you,” he began, getting a miserable little hiccuped sob for his troubles and wincing at the noise. “What on Eos did you do, kid?”
The soldier carefully took a seat across from Ignis, folding his legs as he tried to look as un-intimidating as possible. Something he had been told countless times that he was incapable of doing.
Ignis watched the man warily, hiccuping a little as he tried to keep his tears at bay.
“My… my Uncle told me n-not to talk to strangers…. Sir,” Ignis said quietly, still minding his manners even as this man sat in front of him.
“Oh… right… well… your Uncle is definitely right there. He’s Cartus Scientia, isn’t he?” he asked and Ignis’s eyes widened.
“H-How did you…?”
“Your accent, your eyes and the way you can’t help to mind your manners around everyone… even people you don’t know. Definitely family traits,” the soldier listed off, though he offered the kid a little smile. “That must mean that you’re Ignis, his nephew. My names Cor… Cor Leonis. I’m the Marshal here in the Crownsguard.”
Ignis’s eyes instantly widened. He’d heard about Cor long before he’d even come to the Citadel. The man was a legend and to see him there sitting in the grass with him… Ignis wondered if he would get in trouble for that too!
“Oh! Oh, Mr. Cor Marshal! Please you… you don’t have to sit there! I’m sorry!” Ignis gasped, scrambling to get up to try and find them more suitable seating. He couldn’t let thee Cor Leonis sit in the dirt!
Cors eyes widened at the sudden mood change and shook his head, reaching out to rest a hand on the young boys shoulder. “Steady there, Ignis. It’s alright. You have nothing to apologize for. I sat down here on my own, didn’t I?” he asked and the young boy seemed to sag under the gaze, frowning and biting his lower lip.
“O-Only because I was… you were… trying to make me f-feel better,” he muttered and Cor’s eyebrows rose.
“Oh… you… yeah,” he agreed, surprised at how adeptly this… child had read him. If memory served, the kid was only around Gladio’s age and even Gladio wasn’t that perceptive. “I um… thought I might be a bit too intimidating if I didn’t.”
“It’s okay. You w-were still kinda… kind of scary even when sitting,” Ignis said honestly, correcting his own grammar as Cor bit back a chuckle.
The kid didn’t talk or act how most kids his age did. He had been around Gladio and Noctis enough to know. He was more aware of his surroundings, held himself with a different sort of aire. Literally as if he had been trained to act as a mini-adult.
That didn’t sit quite right with the Marshal somehow.
“Well… since I’m scary either way… we can always go and find a nice bench to sit on,” he offered, watching as Ignis’s cheeks flushed up. He held up a hand as he saw the kid opening his mouth again and shook his head. “No apologies. You’re right. I’m an intimidating person and I have to be. Don’t apologize for being right… or for being honest, okay?”
Ignis instantly closed his mouth at that and nodded, looking down at the ground. Cor frowned as he watched the kid and stood up, brushing a few pieces of grass from his trousers as he looked around.
“There’s a bench right over there. Why don’t we go and get comfortable and then you can tell me how one small kid managed to get so many people angry at him?” he offered, a little smile still on his lips as he led the way, Ignis following behind him like a sad baby duckling.
It wasn’t long before they were settled on the bench, a little closer to the entrance. It was close enough to watch a few people meandering along the hallways though still allowed them the chance to enjoy the peace of the Citadel gardens. Though the peace was still lost on the little boy who looked like he had a rain cloud over his head.
It had taken everything in Cors power not to help Ignis take a seat as he scrambled up onto the bench. Judging by the way the kid carried himself it wouldn’t have been appreciated in the slightest. As they both finally settled into their seats he turned to take in the downcast expression, the tear stained cheeks and the way the poor kid was curling in on himself like he wished he could disappear.
Cor suddenly found that he wasn’t quite sure how to start this conversation. The kid acted like a little adult and yet… in this moment he seemed just like any other miserable six year old. How does a person talk to someone like that?
He didn’t have to ponder long as a shaky breath instantly had his attention focused back on Ignis.
“I… I’m sorry… again for troubling you, Sir,” Ignis began, his voice quiet. Cor frowned deeply at that, but before he could tell the little retainer that he hadn’t done anything wrong Ignis continued on. “I… I shouldn’t have ran away like… like I did. It was… childish of me.”
Cor had to bite back a comment at that. ‘You are a child’ he thought, but he knew there was more to come.
Ignis took his silence as a chance to continue and closed his eyes as he took a little shuddered breath.
“But… but early today I got tutor angry at me because I didn’t turn in the right work, but… but I really, really did try, Sir! I even stayed up past when Uncle told me to go to bed, but I… I did the wrong lesson. And… and then I thought I’d get to have lunch with Uncle, but he was busy so I… I went to go look after the Prince like I’m supposed to, but… he… he was playing a game wrong and… and when I tried to teach him the rules he got angry at me and told me he wished I… I’d go away and then… and… and then…,” Ignis’s little face scrunched up as tears appeared in his eyes once more and he sniffled. “Th-Then nanny and the K-King came in and they… they were gonna get upset at me for doing my job wrong and… and up-upsetting the Prince and… and I just wanted to do a good job, but I didn’t and now everyone is m-mad at me and… and I just… I want my U-Uncle and I want Teacakes and I… I want to be better, but I keep messing up and making people angry!”
With that last little outburst, Ignis brought his hands up to cover his face as a choked little sob broke free from his chest.
Cor couldn’t take seeing this kid looking so miserable and upset and just like he would’ve done for Gladio he wrapped an arm around the tiny tot and pulled him into his side. Ignis easily turned into the offered comfort, hiding his face against Cors side and crying quietly into his coat.
“That… definitely sounds like a tough day, Ignis,” he said quietly, carefully pulling his phone from his pocket and sending a quick text to Regis while the poor kid continued to get out all the hurt and sadness he had harbored all day.
After receiving a message back he slipped his phone back into his pocket, giving Ignis an encouraging little squeeze as he felt him slowly calming down. He could feel the slight hitch in his shoulders still, but he figured it was finally alright to try and remedy some of this hurt.
“First of all… I want you to know that running away like that isn’t childish, though you’ve definitely scared a few people if my texts are anything to go by. Regis, Clarus and your Uncle are tearing apart the Citadel trying to find you right now,” he said, getting a terrified and tear streaked face looking up at him for his troubles. “They aren’t angry, I can tell you that. They are worried, but not angry. And don’t worry about Prince Noctis. Do you know how many stuffed carbuncles and behemoths I’ve had thrown at me because he doesn’t play games fairly?” he asked, getting a little, watery smile from the tiny Adviser, though the kid tried to hide it.
Cor offered him a smile at that and continued. “I’m sorry for what he said to you though. I know the Prince doesn’t mean it. He is still little and he doesn’t exactly get told no or that he’s wrong a lot. What you did in trying to teach him the right way was… well… right. You’re being tasked with a lot, Ignis. You’re still little yourself and people are asking you to act like a little guardian and well beyond your years. I’m definitely going to be having a talk with that tutor of yours though. If it’s Mr. Harghen’s then it will be a pleasure. Do you know how many bad marks he gave me in my classes? If he’s gonna pick on you then he’s picking a fight with me. Okay?”
Ignis’s eyes widened as he heard that.
Cor the Immortal was going to tell off his tutor? And he also had trouble sometimes with the Prince?
Ignis sniffled and wiped at his eyes, a little smile appearing on his face as someone seemed to finally be noticing the troubles he’d been dealing with. Not only that… they were listening to him and not treating him like he was being too childish to pay attention to… or too grown up to need the attention.
Cor was simply listening to him and helping him through his troubles.
“Thank you, Mr. Cor Marshal,” Ignis said with a little nod, feeling like for the first time in weeks someone was actually seeing him. Was taking time to listen and understand.
“Anytime, Ignis.” Cor said, giving the kids hair a little ruffle and even getting a little giggle for his troubles. “Now. I know there are three people keen to see you again back at your Uncles… and a little Prince who wants to apologize to his friend. ”
Ignis’s hands paused where they were fixing his hair and he looked up at Cor wide-eyed. “Really? He… he’s not mad at me anymore?” he asked.
Cor shook his head. “I think he regrets saying what he did to you. He’s never wanted to apologize for throwing stuffed moogles at me so… I think you’ve already taught him a few good lessons don’t you?” he asked and Ignis nodded, smiling a bit more as he heard that.
“Come on, kid. I’ll escort you back. Perhaps we can stop along the way to talk to that tutor of yours,” Cor offered as he stood up.
Ignis smiled more at that and giggled, scooting off the bench.
Cor was just typing out a message on his phone saying that they were on their way when he felt a small hand take his free one.
Looking down he caught an equally surprised Ignis glancing up at him in return. Apparently the tiny tot hadn’t meant to do it, almost looking ashamed for doing something so childish. But Cor merely gave him a smile and offered a little squeeze to his hand. “You don’t mind holding hands, right? It gets busy in the halls around this time and I don’t want to get lost,” he said, watching as Ignis’s expression went from shock and shame to a more relaxed if slightly skeptical one.
“You’re a soldier. You wouldn’t get lost,” he said, though he didn’t let go of Cors hand as they began to make their way out of the gardens.
“You don’t know that. Maybe I get lost all the time? King Regis does. He has terrible navigational skills,” he offered, smiling more when he heard Ignis giggling beside him.
Ignis smiled up at the Immortal and shook his head. Perhaps… this wasn’t the worst day of his life.
Someone had finally seen him.

Blue marks falsetto or whistle notes. Underlines mark notes that are obscured in the song mix. Italics mark non-melodic notes. Boldface marks notes that are considered to be particularly notable examples of this person's vocal capabilities. The story of Jeff Buckley is one of tragic irony. The son of a folk cult legend whose life was tragically cut short, Tim Buckley, Jeff Buckley began his career humbly, very much in the shadow of his father. He gained interest playing cover songs in cafes, eventually being picked up by a label and encouraged to work on his own material. Sadly, Buckley only released one lone studio album, the now legendary "Grace", before his life was also prematurely ended much like his father's, while swimming in the Wolf River Harbour. Buckley has gone on to achieve world renown posthumously, in addition to the aforementioned "Grace", which is frequently listed in publication's "greatest albums of all time", Buckley is also well known for his rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", probably more so than Cohen himself. which is fair enough, since Buckley's version is way fucking better Jeff Buckley's voice was light and ethereal, a high-placed tenor with exceptional agility. While his lower register wasn't the strongest and fairly unreliable in the 2nd octave, his timbrel quality becomes more important, his softness eliciting poignancy in his more sentimental songs. His upper register is known for his androgynous, agile falsetto and powerful, expansive chest/head/whatever voice, which varied from clean to an intentional glottal rasp typical of the grunge scene of the early 90s.

That ending...(Boys over Flowers spoilers but like...it’s been 9 years soooo I’ve legit just jumped on the bandwagon XD)
The Boys over Flowers ending was actually perfect I mean what... I can’t with this beautiful friendship thing they’ve got going on...
Also, I love the F4 friendship with a passion but the real best friendship has to be Ji-hoo, Yi-jung, Woo-bin and Jan-di...it’s like them being there for her even when she kept quiet about her struggles and watching the pain she feels whenever Jun-pyo did something wrong...like it made more sense for them to be standing next to Jan-di than Jun-pyo at times??? They’re all just great and any time it was a situation where Jun-pyo was a mad idiot, and the three confronted him or did something for Jan-di’s without ever even considering how they were originally only connected to her through Jun-pyo just makes me feel all warm and wonderful inside... like any scene where it’s just them 4 is great... or even with the addition of Ga-Eul...just, the time they played hide and seek and toured around Macau, or when they saved Jan-di in Macau...or the time they held a retirement ceremony for Jan-di knowing she needed a proper end to that part of her life...the time YI-JUNG got mad on her behalf towards Jun-pyo...ughhhhhh so amazing...friendship goals...
Like that whole end episode where that one chick was actually the only character I’ve ever actually disliked on the show because she literally showed up for half a second and then started imposing herself like she was at all relevant and I was out here like who the eff does she think is?!?! Of course they don’t like you, they don’t know you and you’re here acting like you’ve known Jun-pyo longer than them when you know NOTHING of the situation gaddamn...it was kinda hilarious how she literally just disappeared after Jun-pyo recovered his memory...
But anyway the point of that rant was that the F3 (F4 - Jun-pyo) stayed by Jan-di’s side and were firmly on her side and knew that this girl was only causing trouble and didnt encourage any shit from her and it was so cute...and that bit where they went to a graduation that legit had nothing to do with them just because their favourite girl was there so they could dance with her...
And then of course the ending where they actually objected to Jun-pyo’s proposal and said he had to get permission from them first...like Jan-di is everyones Jan-di! You want her hand, you need to get approval from her best friends!
Would pay big money to have a scene where they take turns walking her down the aisle??? Like obv the dad would be first but then I would love to see the F3 demonstrate they are not just Jun-pyo’s groomsmen but Jan-di’s best men... and possibly have Ji-hoo be the last one as a final “giving away”....that kind of symbolism is kinda amazing but just my personal headcanon...exceptionally heartbreaking though...
And speaking of, even til the very end Ji-hoo was still in love with her???? This incredible wonderful guy who friggen knew her first was still supporting her but watching after her even after basically proposing to her and getting rejected???? He friggen attended medical school and offered to repeat a year for her?!?! All because he still loved her?!?! It completely came true the whole “your husband and soulmate are two different people” prophecy she dreamed about that one time...and like both Ji-hoo and Jan-di felt it (hell she straight up said it!!!) that they were soulmates but because of some effed up timing, Jan-di couldn’t stop her love for Jun-pyo which just...I like him he’s fine and the love is real but dammit my second lead syndrome has never EVER been this strong before...EVER... >///<
Also they just sorta ignore the fact that in some form, Jan-di had a hand in reviving their father like what y’all are just gonna skim over that????? ALSO I WANTED MORE GA-EUL AND YI-JUNG YALL JUST END IT LIKE SOME SORT OF IMPLIED THING WHAT?!?!?! THEY NEVER ACTUALLY KISSED NO WONDER ALL THE GIFS ARE INCOMPLETE!!!!!
Also also can we just appreciate Chief/Secretary Jung/Jeong??? He is actually the best...friggen out here like a real one supporting everybody gaddamn he’s my favourite...AND THERE WAS NO MASTER!!! THEY NEVER FULLY UNVEILED WHAT WAS GOING ON BETWEEN HIM AND FORMER GRANDPA PRESIDENT AND ALL THOSE TIMES HE CAME TO THE PORRIDGE SHOP?!?!?!
My first kdrama and I can sense the obsession sinking in...gaddammit...

I feel uncomfortable in my own home. I saw TWO, NOT ONE BUT T W O HOUSE CENTIPEDES THE OTHER DAY. Didn’t see any since then and I absolutely murdered those two with like 7L of bug spray but I’m scared. If you’ve never seen them, google them for some nightmare fuel.
Anyway, you asked about volleyball and honestly as much as I love the sport, two hour practices in the middle of the day during the summer aren’t the most pleasant thing especially because I usually get horrible headaches because of the heat bUT since I went on vacation to another part of the country (that sounds far away but my country isn’t the biggest so it’s not that far) I don’t have practices anymore! And my teammates who still have practices only have them for a few more days. (Last time I talked to them they were plotting to have one person per practice pretended they were sick or something so they get a day off)
But that’s enough of that. How are things going with you? How are you dealing with the heat? And also do you have any good show recs? Doesn’t have to be anime

LMAO- poor bugs. But tbh I hate centipedes. I watched the human centipedes movie with my family and fuck, that shit was scary I tell you if I could go back in time and not watch it I would. Same goes with that slender man movie. That shit creeped my out like for a whole ass month. But maybe that was because I hate horror movies-
Ah thats good! How was the trip? I hate the heat so I can't imagine playing sports two hours a day right now.
I am good. I went to the optometrist and like I expected, I need glasses. So I am getting my first pair ever in three to four weeks! I also went to the dentist and everything's in check. I just have to head to the doctors later this week to make sure everything's good lmao.
For shows here's a good list of ones I like:
Boys Over Flowers : It is a Korean Drama. I couldn't remember the names so me and my family just ended up calling them F1, F2, F3, and F4. (In order of how much they are seen in total throughout the show). It is a dramatic show but good. I saw it on Netflix but their are other places you can watch it I think. It's a romantic one, but like a lot of twist and turns and at the end episodes they jam pack it with a lot of shit so beware!
Atypical : The show is about a autistic boy and how they try and figure out their life. [the sister is amazing-] I swear though their dad is shit at the end- You can see it on Netflix
Kims Convenience : Its about a guy who ones a Convenience Store with his wife. They have a daughter who helps out and a son. The son and father don't have a close relationship. The Daughter goes to school and the son and his best friend live together and work together! It's really good if your into comedy. You can watch it on Netflix.
A.P. Bio : It is a comedy! Amazing show about a Harvard philosophy professor [Jack Griffin] and how he doesn't get the job he wanted. Ending up teaching a high school biology class. But one thing is clear he won't be teaching any biology, instead he will use this top tier students to mentally break his nemesis and win back his job. You can watch it on Peacock, and other platforms.
Superstore : It's a comedy drama. Featuring main characters and funny plots! You can watch it on Hulu, NBC, Peacock, and others.
if you want more just tell me what your into and stuff!
