En la recopilación de octubre destacamos (de arriba a abajo y de izquierda a derecha):

[1] Cómo genera su electricidad cada estado en EE.UU., una gráfica y energética doble página de Nadja Popovich en el The New York Times del 23 de octubre.

[2] Aprendiendo a catar vino en tres pasos como un profesional: alcohólica doble de Izania Ollo en El Diario Vasco del 5 de octubre.

[3] Cómo consiguen las aves diferenciarse con esos vibrantes colores y qué usos les dan: una propuesta de Karina Zaiets, Cecilia Garzella y Veronica Bravo en el USA Today del día 11.

[7] El Washington Post nos cuenta con ilustraciones cómo Estados Unidos incautó un megayate ruso de 90 millones de dólares. Es un trabajo de Jeff Stein y Stephanie Hays publicado el 25 de octubre.

[8] Cerramos con el campo de concentración de Miranda de Ebro, el centro de prisioneros más longevo de España activo entre 1937 y 1947. Nos cuenta su historia Josemi Benítez en El Correo del 12 de octubre.

Something that I have noticed is I know almost nobody my age that goes to a food pantry. I know people who regularly run out of money for food and in general have to eat an unsuitable diet because that’s what they can afford and they still don’t go to a food bank, im not sure if it’s because they’re embarrassed or maybe if you didn’t grow up going you don’t know much about it but if you’re financially struggling I really recommend it. And look into other options for food assistance too like community fridges and gardens and other programs that can assist you, where I live Salvation Army pays for an allotted amount of grocery delivery for low income people every month, in the summer farmers take excess produce to the library to be taken by anyone who needs it, etc. There are a LOT of resources for free food that you can look into especially if you are literally not eating because of your financial situation

En la recopilación de marzo destacamos (de arriba a abajo y de izquierda a derecha):

1️⃣ Por el Día Mundial del Agua, en El Diario Vasco analizaron cuánta agua se necesita al día en un hogar cualquiera, en una interesante infografía a doble página de F. Javier Bienzobas publicada el 23 de marzo.

⬅️2️⃣➡️ A comienzos del pasado mes se disputó la Vuelta al País Vasco de ciclismo, y en El Correo Izania Ollo rememoró la primera ronda vasca celebrada hace justamente un siglo. Es un cómic a doble página publicado el 29 de marzo.

⬅️3️⃣ La huella que dejó en nuestra sociedad la pandemia es aún visible en el mobiliario urbano, especialmente por aquellas pegatinas que trataban de salvaguardar las distancias de seguridad. En esta fotogalería, el New York Times repasa vestigios de aquellos tiempos, en una página del día 17.

4️⃣➡️ La mejor portadilla del mes vuelve a ser una página del Los Ángeles Times, en este caso, sobre la excepcional temporada de jazz en directo en la ciudad. Es una ilustración de Sonia Pulido para el periódico del 10 de marzo.

⬅️5️⃣ Joan Laporta cumplió 3 años a los mandos del FC Barcelona y en el diario Sport, Marc Creus analiza esta convulsa segunda etapa a nivel institucional y deportivo. Es un trabajo del 7 de marzo.

6️⃣➡️ Terminamos con una nueva infografía de El Mundo, en este caso sobre cómo el cambio climático está comprometiendo la apuesta por las energías renovables del gobierno español. Un trabajo de Elsa Martín publicado el día 3.

so my roommate is completely straight edge like no drugs no alcohol etc and so im sure y’all can imagine my surprise when i saw she brought home this sign

so i immediately inquired

and now you may ask. what the fuck did my roommate think that sign meant? well

anyways i moved the sign so it’s now front and center in our living room and ive been laughing every time i pass it
