i do mturk Sort Of but i've been burnt out from it for the past couple of years so i'm not on top of it/on top of high paying requesters like i used to be. and this is on me for not ever completing a guide like i say i need to literally constantly but YOU SHOULD NOT SUBJECT YOURSELF TO ANYTHING UNDER $7/HR and thats pushing it. here are the two main resources for making more than $1/hr. the forum is pretty invaluable for figuring out what work is good, and then mts is a hit scraper and catcher. you basically will never get work without mts unless you are doing a huge batch and even then, you want something that can catch the hits for you in case they run out

yesterday I scheduled an appointment, hung out on the disgorb, and tried to manage my pain.

today I:

watered plants

sent scheduled messages

checked on arin

apologized for and edited a tactless comment on the kirblog

shared the irs link for stimulus payments around (it’s [here])

checked the actual payment portal

tried to add my direct deposit info (kept getting an error)

checked mturk (no good data entry but some high-paying surveys)

checked the portal again (apparently you’re only allowed to check once per day)

checked for audio transcription (nothing)

looked up mask patterns

hand-sewed a mask for arin (took like 5 hours)

sang on the porch

scooped cat litter

trimmed nails

taped up the “extension” for the ac thingy

called zoe

hung out on the disgorb

I was feeling kinda off anytime I stood up today so I didn’t wash dishes, and hand-sewing is rough on my hands now apparently. I crocheted a string for it and used a twist tie for a nose wire, which is stitched onto the mask inside a pocket but the pocket is big enough that I can reach in and replace it as needed.
