Ergonomic Chairs for Home – Enhance Comfort & Productivity | Seatking
In today's fast-paced world, where many of us are spending long hours working from home, the importance of a comfortable and supportive workspace cannot be overstated. One of the key components of a productive home office is an Ergonomic Chair. At Seatking, we understand the significance of investing in furnishings that promote health and comfort. Let’s explore why ergonomic chairs are essential for your home and highlight some key options from our collection.
Why Choose an Ergonomic Chair?
Ergonomic chairs are specifically designed to support the natural curve of your spine and promote healthy posture. Here are some of the critical benefits of using an ergonomic chair:
Enhanced Comfort: Ergonomic chairs are built with adjustable features that allow you to customize the seat height, backrest angle, and armrest positioning to fit your unique body shape and preferences.
Reduced Risk of Injury: Prolonged sitting, especially in poorly designed chairs, can lead to back pain, neck strain, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Ergonomic chairs help mitigate these risks by providing proper lumbar support and encouraging movement.
Increased Productivity: When you’re comfortable, you’re less likely to be distracted by discomfort or pain. A good chair can enhance your focus and productivity by allowing you to work for longer periods without fatigue.
Aesthetic Appeal: Modern ergonomic chairs not only prioritize functionality but also come in various designs and colors, making it easy to find a chair that complements your home office decor.
Key Features to Consider
When choosing an ergonomic chair, look for the following features:
Adjustability:The more adjustable the chair, the better it will accommodate your body. Look for height-adjustable seats, customizable armrests, and recline options.
Lumbar Support:A good ergonomic chair should provide strong lower back support. Some chairs offer built-in lumbar support, while others allow you to add a cushion.
Seat Depth and Width: Ensure that the seat is deep and wide enough to comfortably support your thighs. A seat that’s too shallow can lead to pressure points and discomfort.
Tumblr media
Material: The fabric and padding should be breathable and durable. Look for chairs with high-density foam that offers both comfort and support.
Mobility: Consider whether you need a chair with wheels for easy movement around your workspace or a more stationary option.

Significance Of Office Chairs in your workspace.
Office today stands as no less than a sanctuary for humans. A working professional nearly spends half or more than that in the workspace to build their future. However, in the quest to secure a healthy future for ourselves, the first thing that takes the back seat is our health. Being accustomed to sitting in a position for hours, one can encounter a number of problems ranging from obesity to lower body pain to bad posture.
In such a detrimental scenario, what exists as a prime savior is the instrument we sit upon, chairs. Following are the major advantages that a good office chair can present itself with for a healthy work environment.
Better workplace coordination.
Workspace is a space that often requires synergetic endeavors from people across different spectrums. That is where locomotion and movement to reach out to other employees can become difficult. With executive revolving chairs in your workspace, you can have the luxury to coordinate with your team without compromising on comfort.
Posture alignment for better spine health.
Sitting for hours in a compromised position can ruin your posture beyond recovery. Many work from home chair and executive revolving chair are now being designed with inclusive lumbar support to ensure that no trade-off is to be made when it comes to posture.
Add comfort to your space.
Remember how relaxed our bosses feel in their cabins? Well, apart from the position they hold, what also provides them with comfort is office chairs for boss. Chairs with extra cushioning and enhanced softness make sure that you hustle in a manner that is both comforting and luxurious.
Improve office ambiance.
Imagine stepping into an ivory office with top-class infrastructure and plastic chairs to work upon. Something feels off, doesn't it? That is the addition to the ambiance that office chairs can provide you with. Office chairs and executive revolving chairs nowadays provide you with the liberty to experiment with colors, designs and cushioning. One can match them with desks, or even curtains to establish a certain homogeneity in the workspace and positively impart a better vibe.
Personal Space customization.
Taking the personalization game a step ahead, chairs nowadays provide an option to not only adjust the height or lumbar support but also offer customization about the cushions to be used, fabrication to be done and design to be built upon. This offers users the flexibility to choose from a wide range of permutations and combinations available in the manufacturing domain and align them with the purpose a user strives towards.
Hence, evident from the above points, office chairs have assumed greater utility in the service-driven world we live in. Ensure that you pick the right companion for your workspace to make certain that neither your health nor your comfort bails out.

It's a Match! || 141 x reader

Chapter 5: GET LAID?
[The scolding Price gives is fully inspired by Captain Holt from B99]
“YOU. DID. WHAT?!” Price’s voice was so loud it bounced off the walls and Soap could swear the door was rattling.
The environment inside of Price’s tiny little office was beyond tense. Gaz sat across from Price on the arm chair, with his hands clasped over his lap. Soap stood beside him, hands on the back of the other chair, constantly shuffling and readjusting. And Ghost was all the way in the back of the room, arms crossed and one foot scuffing up the wall he was leaning against.
They looked like a group of kids at the headmaster’s office, getting the reaming of a century and waiting for their parents to come get them, only to get reamed out some more by them. Except they’re grown adults and Price is, in a way, both the headmaster and their father.
Granted, they probably should’ve waited until tomorrow morning when they’re not all a bit buzzed from one too many beers
It seemed tonight was just one of those nights where they have little to no restraint
and are incapable to be reasoned with.
“If it’s any consolation, I told them you wouldn’t be too keen on 'em buttin' in your life.” Ghost spoke up while dipping his head to the side in a lazy shrug.
This earned him a sharp look from Price, who swivelled on his executive chair, turning a bit to properly face Ghost. The man looked seconds away from blowing up, eyes widened and wild.
“And yet you still HELPED 'EM?!” The Captain scolded him, to which Simon replied with a full shrug.
“They made a compelling case. You’ve been insufferable, boss.” He remarked, causing Price to sputter a bit.
“I didn’t wanna say anything, but it’s true, Captain. You need to get laid.” Soap jumped in.
His hackles raised and he stood up, slamming his hands on the desk, causing a rattling in the white mug he used as a pen holder. Gaz couldn’t help but wonder if the Captain didn’t hurt his palms.
“GET LAID?!” Price shouted in a tone almost akin to panic. “MY LOVE LIFE IS NONE OF YOUR CONCERN!” Price scolded them all, rausing a hand and pointing his finger at no one in particular.
“AND I WOULDN’T BE SO INSUFFERABLE IF YOU LOT DID YOUR JOBS. BUT NO, I’M HAVING TO FIX YOUR MESSES AND DEAL WITH ALL THIS BULLSHIT!” He shouted as he ran his hand over a pile of documents on the edge of his desk, sending them all flying to the floor.
None of the lads shook in the face of the Captain’s shouts. They were all used to it, having heard enough of them from other C.O.s in their careers and, especially, more than enough from John in the last year.
Price huffed through his nose and hung his head for a moment. Then, he tossed himself back in his chair, leaning it back and grumbling under his breath.
He sat with his legs parted, left arm over the desk top, the right one hanging limply over his lap. He grumbled under his breath, his mustache scrunching a bit as he raised his right hand to rub his eyes.
“Bloody fuckin’ hell
” Price grumbled and swiveled his chair back toward the desk, inadvertently toward Soap and Gaz as well, setting his elbows on either side of the black desk mat.
He held his head up with both hands, his blue eyes sliding downward to the phone they had set in front of him when explaining what they did, which now sat between his elbows.
In it was the Tinder profile they had created, the gimmicky, silly little shite that includes grainy photos of him and a bio written in the 3rd person. What impressed him was the fact that somehow, despite only having been active for an hour, according to them, the account had already seen about 35 likes and a handful of DMs from people.
Most of them were curious about the bio, some of them asking a variation of ‘Does John know you made this account?’, etc.
However, it bothered him that they did this behind his back, never once stopping to ask if he needed or wanted their help (AND HE DIDN’T). “You need to delete this.” He ended up saying after a moment of silence.
He grabbed the phone and set it on the edge of his desk to be taken by either Gaz or Soap, with a bit more aggression than he meant to. “Deactivate it, whatever.” He added.
“But, sir-” Soap tried to say, being shushed by Price raising a hand to signal him to quiet down.
“No buts.” He said directly as he raised his head and glared right at Soap. “And you need to tell that person that you already promised a date to that I’m not interested and APOLOGIZE for leading them on.” He ordered.
“Boss
C’mon.” Ghost called for him from his corner, causing John’s head to slowly turn to face him, eyebrows scrunched when he noticed the gaze Simon was sending him.
Cursed be Simon Riley, the only tosser in the entire SAS other than MacMillan, who can read John like the open book that he prides himself in not being.
But of course Simon knows why he’s so reluctant. He was there 5 years ago
when Price called him from his car in a side road somewhere, so drunk that his words were more so obscene slurs than words themselves, spewing mentions of loss and betrayal and a visceral need to cave a man’s face in, of emptying magazine after magazine on his wife’s lover’s body.
Simon went to get him, took the man home to his own shitty little flat, let him sleep off the inebriation in his bed, looked after him just in case he’d choke on his own drunken vomit, and the next afternoon, when Price was more himself, he drove Price to his marital home and helped him pack his bags.
Price stayed at his apartment for almost 6 months before getting his own place. Not that Ghost minded. Returning to the barracks was embarrassing for the Captain
And getting his own place required time and patience, which Price was lacking.
Eventually, Price signed the divorce papers, the matter was settled, and Price went on leave. Ghost took his as well and helped him settle into a flat, helped him assemble furniture, brought him meals.
Then started Price’s fuckboy era. Which is how Gaz and Soap heard of his proclivity to hook up with people. Gender didn’t matter, so much as getting momentary satisfaction and some of the shadows out of his bones.
Then, Graves and Shepherd happened
And Price cut it cold turkey. He was pent up. Point blank. Went from getting regular satisfaction to getting nothing and burying himself in his work. Blaming himself for not noticing the signs earlier.
Sometimes Ghost wondered if the man was going through a mid-life crisis.
“You could use it, boss.” Ghost added as he looked Price right in the eyes. “What’s one night, huh? Just going for a drink with them?”
“Simon-” Price tried arguing.
“Please, sir. We promise you’ll like ‘em.” Gaz pleaded.
“Yeah, sir, we all talked with ‘em and they’re a right laugh.” Soap added.
Taking a deep breath, John leaned back on his chair again and threw his hands in the air again.
“Alright.” He conceded. “BUT!” He interrupted them before they got too giddy. “None of this
Tinder shite.” He gestured vaguely to the phone at the edge of the desk.
“You set up a meet-up this Friday at a pub nearby. No more after that.” He ordered.
“On it!” Gaz said as he snatched the phone from the desk to dm you.

summary: payback sucks (part 2 to this req)
könig x gn!reader
warnings: mdni (18+), blowjob, reference to smut, slight spit play, maybe voyeurism?, est relationship
"Price doesn't want you on my team darling"
He's sitting at his desk, his back leaning against the chair while his legs are spread wide, you had stormed into his office a few minutes prior, the orders to have you and König on separate teams coming from Price after your last mission failure.
"How is that fair, we work well together"
"Apparently you get distracted when we're on an op"
You cross your arms over your chest, furrowing your brows at him, "More like you purposely distract me"
"Maybe you should better your focus"
You open your mouth for a comeback but a knock on his door interrupts you,
"Oi Colonel, teams here awaiting orders"
A lightbulb goes off in your head, grinning as you move closer to him,
"You have to go my love"
You give a small hum in response, kneeling lower while you keep your eyes on him,
"Maus" He warns
"You know you should relax more, you're the one in charge"
He settles his alms against the desk, his eyes darting between the door and you as you move under the table, your palm running over his thighs.
"You in there König?"
"Better stay quiet" You grin
"Yes, you can, um you can come in" He stumbles over his words, his cheeks hot under his hood as he shuffles in closer to the desk, keeping you hidden.
"Right, men are here and ready for your orders" Soap stands in the door frame, turning his body to allow a few men into the room, all of them watching König, waiting for his response.
"Right, so we'll move in" His voice catches in his throat as your fingers work to undo his belt, biting your lip in anticipation. He continues to explain the drop-in route for the mission, assigning a few positions, you grin as you pull his pants lower, his length throbbing under the thin cloth of his briefs, you palm him over the fabric, enjoying the way his fingers grip on the corner of the desk.
"Reynolds you'll cover us from above, Soap will plant explosives to get us in" His breath hitches as you slowly pull his underwear lower, letting his cock spring free, wetting your lips with your tongue at the sight of his tip, dripping with pre cum. You place a small lick to it and his stomach tightens, arching his hips forward wanting more,
"I'll lead in, clear the first floor and wait for instruction then, Soap you'll" He lets out a heavy breath, "You'll lead team two"
"You alright Sir?"
"Me? I'm fine, just tired" He shakes his head, you let out a small laugh around his cock, feeling his cock twitch in your mouth as you sink lower, flattening your tongue to lick up his length. You bob slowly up and down, letting your spit coat him as it drips to his base, wetting his pubic hair. He lets out a groan as you bury his tip in the back of your throat, his hips thrusting lightly as you dig your fingers into the flesh of his thigh, tears forming in the corners of your eyes, his face flustered as the men in front of him share a look of concern.
"So, we move from there, weapons hot we don't know how many hostiles there are"
He bites his lip, holding back his groans as the men discuss between themselves, nodding along to their questions, feeling his balls grow tighter as you work him.
You place a hand around his shaft, working the length that won't fit in your mouth, pumping him faster as you hollow your cheeks, running your tongue over his tip with every bob. You snake a hand down his thigh, moving to cup his balls and he squeezes his eyes shut, quietly muttering in German as he rocks his hips, you hum, the vibration causing him to clear his throat as the men turn back to him.
"Shouldn't take more than an hour to clear, we have execute authority" He stops himself for a moment, too focused on the fact that you've pulled off him, he glances down for a moment, his wide eyes on your hooded ones as you stare at him through your lashes, a string of spit connecting his tip with your lips as he watches you lean in, kissing the head of his cock before letting some saliva drip from your mouth onto it.
"So capture or kill?" Soap's voice breaks his gaze, Königs eyes squinting for a moment as he processes the words,
"Yes, leave no witnesses"
The men nod, collecting their files before moving out of the room, König relaxes his shoulders for a moment, his hand slowly shifting to settle on your head,
"Sorry about your mission the other day"
His body freezes as his eyes land on Soap, standing in the doorframe, he wills him to leave but he keeps talking. Königs chest is heavy with his breaths, he's getting closer with every flick of your tongue.
"If it's any consolation you shouldn't blame Viper, I've never seen them miss a shot"
You grin to yourself, your hands working in tandem to knead his balls as your spit-coated digits work his length,
"Yes it was unfortunate" He grumbles
You remove your hand, pushing his cock to the back of your throat, your nose rubbing against his pelvis as his hand shoots to the back f your head, his fingers holding you against him as he twitches his hips back and forth. You feel his stomach tighten, raking your nails over his skin as he struggles to contain his moans, shooting his cum into the back of your throat as you swallow it greedily, your mouth milking him for every drop as his body stutters, Soaps words escape his ears as he continues to talk, König nodding lightly as he finishes.
"Anyways, see you on deck Sir" Soap nods, leaving the room.
The door closes and König pushes his chair back, his softening cock resting against his stomach as he stares down at you, your cheeks red as you wipe your spit-soaked chin, smiling back at him. He runs his thumb over your lower lip, feeling his cock twitch slightly, as he drops his head back, sighing.
You move from under the desk, standing to rest against it as he carefully tucks himself back into his pants, "You should work on your focus"
"You're cruel"
"Mm, paybacks a bitch" You lean down to him, your hand lifting his hood above his lips so you can kiss them, savouring his taste for a moment before pulling back.
"I'll see you after the mission darling"
"I hope so"

Boyfriends to Have Boyfriends Headcanons pt 2
Look team, this isn’t redeemable. But it has to get out somehow. Follow up to this.
—-
Gaz found you first. Well, found your habits first. You were more than qualified to join the 141 but they were established already. Everyone knew each others quirks in the field. But as Prices little project, you and Gaz were paired up the most often, and he couldn’t help but notice how much you
listened. How well you listened to orders. How well you followed his lead in the field. How well you did any little thing Price (and Gaz) asked of you.
You were on a mission once, and he couldn’t help but fuck with you. “Clear the second floor, I’ll clear the first.” “Copy.” “Take position on the west side, we’ll be here till exfill gets here.” “Copy.” “Get on your knees.” He felt most of his blood rush straight to his dick as you followed his command sight unseen. He SO DESPERATELY wanted to poke fun, call you a toy soldier, but he just couldn’t. How set and determined your big eyes were looking up at him, tac gear be damned. How you didn’t even hesitate to hear and execute a command. Knowing how strong you were in every facet of your life, yet how much you trusted him implicitly. He walked over and let a gloved hand graze your cheekbone, a small smile on his lips. Almost broke his heart, watching you realize he was taking the piss, watching your look of confusion turn to irritation as you slapped his hand away. He would have been hurt if he heard any of the names you called him, still transfixed over your obedience, until you punched him in the dick. He’ll get his, in due time.
—-
“Ha, and she listened? Dropped, just like that?” Price said, sitting up from his chair in his office.
“Yeah, quite a sight”. Gaz replied, pacing and hands covering his eyes in frustration.
“You’re a right stickler for rule followers.” Price said with a chuckle. Giving a head nod to come here, he received Gaz between his legs, hands warming his sides.
“Learn from the best. Jesus she was so good for me, didn’t even know it.” Running a hand through Prices hair, he felt warm, capable hands sneak into his waistband. He took a deep shaky breath as Price took him in his mouth. “Could be good for both of us.”

The Rattlesnake County War
Following a botched cattle rustling job, a lone surviving outlaw finds herself thrust into a conflict between ranchers bigger than any she'd been embroiled in before. A Sheriff!Price x Outlaw!Reader fic; MDNI please; reader is AFAB and she/her pronouns are used but should otherwise be ambiguous (if I can be more inclusive/there is somewhere where I can improve on making her more "friendly" to readers let me know pls!) Warnings: hanging, angst, death, stabbings, references to guns and shootings, execution, etc. Smut. I intend to write 2 versions of this fic - more information can be found in the masterlist.
5. Twenty-Five
The only noise on the ride back to town was the baying and stomping of steers.
Price fumed at the head of the pack and the others gave him a wide berth as they herded the cattle back to Mr. Marshall’s ranch. Once the gate was closed and all of the livestock were accounted for, Price waved off his companions and clomped up to the porch to join Mr. Marshall. He was greeted not by the rancher, but by the man in pastor’s vestments that he had seen before.
“Hello, Sheriff,” the preacher said, nodding stiffly and offering a smile. “Mr. Marshall has retired for the night, I’m afraid.”
“Thank you, sir. I suppose I’ll have to return in the morning,” Sheriff Price said. His anger had waned and he was exhausted, the weariness evident in his voice.
“Might I trouble you for a talk?” the preacher asked.
“Of course, sir. What troubles you?” Price asked. The preacher smiled wanly.
“I am more interested in what ails you, Sheriff. I cannot help but notice that your pretty companion was not with your men when you arrived,” he said. Price stiffened.
“We have parted ways. Her services are no longer needed,” he said. The priest tutted.
“A good choice, sheriff. Some sinners are
beyond saving. Undeserving of god’s love,” he echoed. Price’s head snapped up.
“Surely a man of God would not say such things?” he asked. The pastor’s smile vanished.
“It does not take a man of god to know the true nature of the human race. The true question is this: why would the lord send such a sinner to you? Why would he embroil you in such troubles? A man as knowledgeable and honorable as you surely has no love for a god that allows his children to suffer without intervention?” the preacher asked. Price rose.
“I am wary of what you speak. My faith in God is unshaken. Goodnight, sir.”
The preacher watched him go until he disappeared into the distance. A rattlesnake slithered out of the bush he stood before and coiled around his boot before slithering up his side and curling around his torso.
“In due time,” said the preacher.

Price was surprised to find Simon, Johnny, and Kyle waiting for him when he got back to the office. Before he even made it through the door, Kyle had risen and strode toward him.
“Joanna is devastated. Had to break the news to her, so thanks for that,” he said, folding his arms over his chest.
“That was a bad move, mate,” Johnny piped up, slinging back the last of his whiskey before pouring himself another. Price scowled and yanked the bottle away from him, plopping down in a chair before drinking directly from it.
“She’s too dangerous. Almost got herself killed. It’s just better if
if
” he trailed off with a sigh, taking another swig of the whiskey. It was quiet for a moment.
“You’re a fool,” Simon said from the corner of the room. “Saved your life twice, and you push her away because you’re scared she’ll get hurt. She’s out there right now, chasing down Gimley on her own. Still chasing danger, still might get hurt. And you’re on your ass here.”
“Fuck,” Price choked, tossing the whiskey bottle away. He looked out the window at the moon, mulling it over.
“Go get your girl, John.”
—
You hadn’t bothered to make camp that night.
Following Gimley was easy enough. He hadn’t gotten that much of a head start and you were hot on his heels. At some point he’d passed through a town and you were fortunate enough to find he was wanted there with a bounty worth $25. You snagged the poster, intending to turn his body in for a tidy profit once you put him down.
It was noon when you found his camp. You rode up on him without caring for stealth, so he watched as you approached.
“You’re worth twenty-five, Gimley. Dead or alive. Normally, I offer bounties a chance to choose, but on account of the fact that you shot me, well
” you trailed off as you dismounted, hitching Whiskey before approaching Gimley slowly. He rose as you came near and you circled each other warily, hands over your holsters.
“Don’t have to be this way, miss. You could come work for me. Could work for those who could pay you a lot more than twenty-five per man,” he said, his duster fluttering in the wind. In a heartbeat you drew and put two bullets into his chest. He staggered backwards, gurgling, before falling to the ground, dead.
“They couldn’t afford me,” you scoffed.
—
After dumping Gimley’s body in the Sheriff’s office back in town, you collected your pay and stepped onto the plank walkway to drink your sorrows away. You scarcely believed it was possible, but this place was even seedier than Rattlesnake Point. It was so seedy, in fact, that you were startled to see a man in a pastor’s vestments coming toward you down the plank walkway.
“What was the price of that man’s life?” he called. You lit up a cigarette.
“Twenty-five. But I don’t have a habit of wasting money tithing to churches,” you said, taking a drag and turning to walk away.
“And what is the price of your life?” he asked. You paused.
“I’m a pardoned woman, if that’s what you’re asking. You won’t get a dime from hauling me in,” you said with a chuckle.
“In the eyes of god, there are no pardons. Your soul is worth its weight in gold to Hell,” the pastor said, a thin smile crossing his lips.
“Don’t really know about all that, mister,” you said, the disinterest evident in your voice.
“God punishes sinners. He will punish you. Do you believe that to be fair, Wildcat? Why should such a god be worshiped as he is? Should people not turn their backs to such a god?” the preacher asked.
“Leave me be, you old coot,” you said, waving him off as you mounted Whiskey and took off, deciding not to drink after all. This place gave you the creeps.
—
Price followed your tracks for as long as he could, but lost the trail when he entered the town. It didn’t take long for him to learn of the death of Gimley, and he learned from the sheriff the direction that you had gone following your collection of the reward.
Once outside of the town again, he was able to pick up on hoofprints once more. Hoping they were Whiskey’s, he followed them down the Colorado for a time before ending up in a lightly wooded canyon carved out by the river. A fire flickered across the canyon walls, smoke drifting up to the stars. He dismounted, not wanting to startle the camper if it wasn’t you, and called out.
“Wildcat, is that you?” he asked. You were startled from where you were dozing by the fire and sat up, reaching for your gun.
“It’s John,” he called. Your body relaxed but your chest tightened at the thought of him being around you once more.
“What are you doing here?” you called, standing slowly and padding to the edge of your camp. John approached from the darkness, having hitched his horse beside Whiskey.
“I couldn’t leave you, not after those things I said. I was wrong, Wildcat. I’m sorry,” he murmured.
“Come, sit down. It’s late,” you said with a sigh. John joined you beside the fire and you sat in silence for a minute. He reached up and gently caressed the wound on your cheek.
“You took a bullet for me,” he murmured. You laughed.
“Not really. It’s just a graze,” you said.
“You saved me life. You’ve killed for me. You’ve been nothing but loyal and helpful. I’m sorry, I really am,” he said, leaning forward.
“John,” you breathed. “Shut up.”
You closed the distance, leaning forward and pressing your lips against his. He seemed surprised at first but kissed back, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you into his lap. You shifted to straddle him, deepening the kiss, and could feel the hard bulge in his pants pressing up against your clothed entrance. As you started to grind down against him, John pulled away and took your hands, leaning back to look at you.
“Do you want this?” he breathed, squeezing your hands as he gazed into your eyes.
“More than anything. Ever since we sat in the shade in the barn together,” you murmured, leaning in to kiss him again. He kissed you back and stood up with you in his arms, making you gasp and giggle as he carried you back to the tent.
He laid you down on your bedroll and you tugged off your shirt, grateful that you were already undressed for bed, and tossed it to the side. John did the same before crawling on top of you and kissing you, slotting his hips in between your legs and grinding down against your core. You wrapped your legs around his hips and he growled into the kiss.
His fingers fumbled at the hooks of your bra before undoing it and pulling it away, your nipples hardening as they met the cool, desert night air. John leaned down and pressed a kiss to one before wrapping his lips around the other, making your head fall back as you gasped from the stimulation.
You fumbled at John’s waist, managing to pull his belt off and unbutton his pants. You whined, unable to get the zipper down and he took the hint, yanking his pants and boots off before tossing them to the side.
You kicked off your pants and wiggled out of your panties, laying before him. He looked up at you, his eyes hazy as they searched over your body and took you in.
“You’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen,” he murmured, sucking in a deep breath as you playfully parted your legs.
“Come here and do more than just look at me, John,” you said with a smile, heat rising to your face. He was on you in an instant, kissing you almost ferociously on the lips before trailing kisses down your body.
He wrapped his powerful arms around your thighs, pulling you closer to him and spreading your legs as he kissed down to your core, leaving one lass gentle kiss on your clit before licking a long stripe up your entrance, savoring your wetness.
You moaned, your head falling back as he lapped up your wetness, circling your clit with his tongue before gently sucking on it. His eyes were closed and his blush reached from his cheeks to the tips of his ears, making you smile as you ran your fingers through his hair.
He was distracted, though. One of his arms had left your leg. You bit your lip, heat rushing through you as you realized he was palming himself through his underwear.
You pulled away from him and as he looked up in surprise you took the opportunity to push him down and pin him on his back, kissing his cheek gently.
“Poor thing, you must be so hard. Let me help,” you purred. You threw one of your legs over him and wiggled back until you were comfortable, slowly lowering yourself onto his face. To your surprise he grabbed you by the waist and yanked you down, pushing his tongue into you and making you moan.
You reached forward, rolling down his underwear slowly until his cock sprang free. You licked your palm and took hold of it. It throbbed in your hand, thick and heavy and you pumped it gently, making John moan, which sent vibrations through your lower body.
You leaned forward and took the head into your mouth, moaning around John’s cock as he pulled his tongue from your pussy and lapped at your clit.
“You taste so good,” John grunted, giving your hips a squeeze before slipping a finger into your entrance. You groaned, pausing from bobbing your head up and down on his cock.
“Give me more!” you gasped. John bit your thigh with a growl and hefted you off of him, tossing you back into the bedroll and climbing on top of you. You parted your legs eagerly for him, wrapping them around his waist.
“Impatient little thing,” he murmured huskily, sliding his hands up and down your body, squeezing your curves and teasing your clit.
“Brat,” you whispered, capturing his lips in another kiss. He notched the head of his cock at your entrance and pushed in slowly. You dug your nails into his back, groaning into the kiss. The stretch of him was delicious, and you bucked your hips up to meet his.
“Give it to me or I’ll take it,” you growled into his ear, biting at his neck. John growled, burying his face in your neck as he set a slow, deep pace. You raked your nails down his back, hissing in pleasure as he reached down to rub your clit in time with his deep thrusts.
“Insatiable, impatient
you’re feral,” he murmured, his hips snapping forward, each punctuated with breathy grunts and moans. “Feel so fuckin’ perfect, love.”
Blinded by pleasure, you were unable to respond. John kissed your open mouth, swallowing your moans of pleasure and savoring each one. He kept rubbing your clit as your pleasure built until you were sent over the edge of orgasm, twitching and writhing beneath John. He slowed his thrusts after you came, gently petting your hair and kissing your sweaty forehead.
“Okay, love?” he asked, peppering kisses to the side of your neck.
“Perfect,” you breathed. “Don’t stop on my account.”
John picked up the pace once again, but you were still unsatisfied. You pushed him up and off of you and climbed on top of him, straddling him and shoving his cock back inside of you. Steadying yourself with your hands on his chest, you rode him at a fast pace, using gravity to achieve deliciously deep thrusts that made you moan with each buck of your hips.
“Wildcat,” John hissed, thrusting up to meet you halfway. “I’m close.” You didn’t slow your pace, panting and moaning as your second orgasm built. You and John came at the same time, hips stuttering and bodies seizing.
You collapsed onto his chest as you came down from your high, feeling warm spend drip from between your legs as he gently pulled out of you. You laid together on the bedroll, catching your breath as John held you close to him. You were almost asleep when he spoke.
“I hope that - I hope I mean something to you, Wildcat. You mean a hell of a lot to me,” John said, stroking your hair tenderly as he pulled the thin blanket over you both.
“Most meaningful man in my life. Don’t plan on being chased off ever again,” you murmured, tracing the scars on his chest.
“Good,” he murmured, pressing a kiss to your forehead as you slowly fell asleep.

With the clock running out on the Biden administration, the US Securities and Exchange Commission has sued Elon Musk in federal court. The statute at hand is relatively straightforward. The timing of the complaint is more complicated.
The SEC’s complaint centers on Musk’s acquisition of Twitter stock in early 2022. According to the complaint, Musk failed to notify the agency that he had acquired more than 5 percent of common shares in the company within 10 calendar days. If true, that delay would violate federal security laws. “As a result, Musk was able to continue purchasing shares at artificially low prices,” the SEC alleges, “allowing him to underpay by at least $150 million for shares he purchased after his beneficial ownership report was due.” The SEC has asked for a jury trial.
This should all be pretty simple. “It looks like a straightforward case about a clear violation of a well-established SEC rule,” says James Park, a professor at UCLA School of Law who focuses on securities regulation and corporate law. You either file your paperwork within 10 days or you don’t; the SEC claims that Musk didn’t. He acquired enough shares to cross that threshold by March 14 of that year, the agency alleges, and didn’t publicly disclose his ownership until April 4. (The SEC alleges that Musk was technically 11 days late, as he continued to acquire shares through March 24.)
And yet it took nearly three years for the SEC to bring a case. “The question is, why are they doing it now,” says David Rosenfeld, former cohead of the SEC’s New York enforcement office and currently a professor at Northern Illinois University College of Law. “The only plausible answer is they want to get it done before the administration changes.” Rosenfeld notes that he did not review the SEC complaint in depth.
That executive branch changeover, which happens in less than a week, creates a more favorable regulatory environment for Musk, who donated hundreds of millions of dollars to political action committees supporting Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and has reportedly been a close adviser to the president-elect during the transition period. Current SEC chair Gary Gensler will likely be replaced by Trump’s nominee, Paul Atkins, who is widely viewed as supporting a lighter regulatory touch.
Musk’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, says he believes the complaint is a parting shot. “As the SEC retreats and leaves office, the SEC’s multiyear campaign of harassment against Mr. Musk culminated in the filing of a single-count ticky-tack complaint against Mr. Musk,” he wrote in an email.
While the filing comes just before Trump’s January 20 inauguration, the investigation that led to this complaint has been years in the making. The agency had to subpoena Musk in May of 2023 to get his testimony in the investigation and has said that Musk canceled on them two days before his scheduled testimony that September. A federal court upheld an earlier decision to compel him to testify in May of 2024; SEC lawyers flew out to interview him on September 10, but he stood them up once again to attend a SpaceX launch.
Which is to say that the reason this has taken so long is, at least in part, Musk’s ability to drag it out. And while the filing landing at the tail end of Biden’s term does “raise an eyebrow,” according to Adam Pritchard, coauthor of Securities Regulation: Cases and Analysis and a professor at the University of Michigan Law School, there’s not generally much of a lame duck period at the SEC.
“It is not at all unusual for enforcement actions to be brought after an election with a change in administration on the horizon,” Pritchard says. “Many attorneys will be looking to leave, and they want to bring actions before they go.”
And now that the SEC has gone down the road of litigation? Don’t expect Atkins to necessarily provide an off-ramp.
“I would be surprised if the new administration completely dropped the case,” says Park. “It’s possible that the new administration could settle the case for a nominal sum, but that would be problematic because it would show favoritism and send that important SEC rules can be deliberately violated without sanction.”
Bailing on the case is especially unlikely, Pritchard says, precisely because it’s so straightforward. “It is hardly a situation where you would think the Enforcement Division was overreaching,” he says.
Under normal circumstances, says Rosenfeld, the vast majority of SEC cases are settled. But given that Musk seems disinclined to do so thus far, the first high-profile case of the SEC under a second Trump term may well turn out to be against his most important benefactor.

I got one of those colds that mean I am functionally useless for several days, so in hunting around for entertainment I could enjoy with my eyes closed, I decided to try The Magnus Archives. I like ghost stories! And the only price was having to occasionally stir to hit a skip button until the ads went away.
I did enjoy it, largely, but despite having a lot of themes about the horror of dreadful knowledge ... on the whole it was an excellent exercise in the way that information kills terror.
See, I do not believe in ghosts or vampires or eldritch beings. Supernatural stories are fun, but not real. But there is clearly some tiny, ancient monkey-brain part of me that disagrees with that assessment, because sometimes a horror story will wake me at 3am, full of adrenaline and some horrifying but what if image imprinted behind my eyelids.
It's not necessarily about the quality of the story: I've had it after seeing some quite dreadful horror films. Something about a concept can poke a sore spot even if the execution is terrible. Mostly, when it happens, I just mentally congratulate the creators on scoring a point.
And a couple of early stories did indeed ping my brain, so well done to them. I don't believe in these things, but the image of some inexplicable thing that can just steal your existence is indeed unsettling.
But then ... there's a whole organised pantheon of nasty things. They have priesthoods. These people all know each other. They may often be trying to murder or terrorise each other, but in some cases they just wander in, flop down in a chair and complain to each other about how rough the apocalypse business is. There's an ongoing quasi-academic argument about classification. Some guy submitted a research paper while dying of plague in order to try to settle that argument, but they're academics (kind of) so it did not work.
After a little bit of that, even the jumpy monkey-brain part of my subconscious goes: "Ah. This is clearly not my problem. This is your problem, unfortunate people with arguably the worst office job in the world. I am sorry for you, and and I'm rooting for you, although I suspect you're all screwed, but there is nothing here I need to deal with."
I get, of course, that from the perspective of the incidental characters this is all still inexplicable and mysterious but ... nah, I know how this works now. This is definitely those people's problem to deal with - not to say that they're dealing with it well.
I did like Gertrude, though. I thoroughly respect: a) weaponised disorganisation and b) finding absolute proof that the supernatural is real and going "Not for bloody long if I have my way" and then just hitting every ghoul and nightmare creature she encountered with a metaphorical fly swatter. They should have just given her some of those traps from Ghostbusters and let her have fun with it.

Artem x Gn Reader Paper cuts and tea cups
You sighed as you flicked through the massive mountain of papers on your desk. You had taken on a case that came with a lot of technical details and it was also heavy on a topic you had no knowledge of so your paper work was doubled due to the research you were also doing to fully understand the case.
You settled into your office chair, thanking the executives that provided the whole floor with an office chair each. You had loved the chair since it was pulled out of the box and researched the brand in hopes of buying your little desk at home a new chair.
The two thousand dollar price tag had sent you running to click the exit on the tab. Way out of your budget. So you settled for simply appreciating the one you had at work that got you through the long hours.
You shuffled through your desk to look for the finger grips that helped you flip through the page’s easier. You only spotted a hygiene balm that replaced the need to lick your finger tip to flick through the pile of pages. You used it a few times before you grew tired of the waxy feel on your fingers.
You closed the drawer closed with more force than needed but the soft close mechanism on the drawer prevented your fellow coworkers from hearing it slam in anger.
There was an office thief around and they had taken your finger grips.
You trudge on through the paper work bare handed. The clock on the wall ticking away, making your last hour of work seem to last longer.
You were unaware of Artem peeking at you from the office kitchen. He had seen how you were diligently working away and wanted to brew you a cup of your favorite tea to help you through the later half of the workday.
His hands were warmed by the mug, his hands somehow transferring the warmth to his face as he gazed at you from afar.
You truly put him under a love spell.
He took a deep breath before making his way over to you, nearing closer he said your name. “I made you some tea.”
He picked up a pile of papers and moved them to the side to be able to set the mug down onto the desk. He peered at the vast amount of papers.
“Let’s hope this court case is over with soon. I can’t have my employees overwork themselves.” He commented, his voice soft and warm.
“Thanks for the tea.” You smiled, reaching to take a sip from the cup.
He didn’t have anything more to add so while he wanted to linger around you and your bright presence he slipped away from the desk and walked back to his office, he left his door open in case you wanted to come to him for some questions you might have.
He was curious when he heard a knock on his door not even a minute later, you two were the last employees on the floor. Even without the workplace being vacant he would be able to recognize your unique knock anywhere.
“Do you know where the bandaids are?” You leaned your head over the doorway, half your body behind the doorway.
He stood up, pushing his office chair back with force. “What happened? What’s wrong? Are you hurt?” His blue eyes darted around your form, frantic.
You smiled and lifted a finger, “Just a silly paper cut.”
“An injury isn’t silly. Let me see.” He rushes over to your side and lifts your hand to his eye level.
Beads of crimson pebble on your fingertip. He tutted his lips, his brow pinching. He leads you to the communal kitchen and opens a draw along the way.
Quickly grabbing a bandaid from the box and closing it shut with his hip. He led you to the sink and held your hand under the faucet.
He turned it on and watched as the blood washed down the drain. He gave you a half grimace and smile when you hissed that it hurt a bit.
He had also plucked up some healing ointment from the drawer. He got a napkin and spread the cream onto your cut before carefully wrapping it in the bandaid.
You would think he was performing surgery with the way he was so focused on wrapping the bandage so delicately around your finger.
“You can’t wrap it too tight or else you can cut off the blood flow in your finger.” He said, as he smoothed down the bandaid.
You just nodded at his words, trying to stop the warmth from his body heat and the breath that fanned your hand from sending warmth across your chest and cheeks.
Artem seemed like a stern man but he was always so gentle and kind with you.
“Thanks.” You finally found your words, your hand still clasped in his even after he was done helping you.
He looked down at your intertwined hands and abruptly dropped your hands. “No problem, anything to help out a fellow employee. I have a few papers to look over. Let me know if you need anything.”
He skirted past you and down the hall into his office. Just as he was out of your sight he instantly grabbed at his chest.
His face boiling hot. His feelings for you were just getting stronger, he only hopes you might return his feelings one day.

MASTERLIST
PART 1 and PART 2
Part 3
~Ghost POV~
Price had told you about a new recruit coming up re-joining the 141. You think of the people still alive coming back to re-join the team.
Ghost got up from his chair in the office, walked over to the mirror. Checked himself. Making sure the mask was on right.
He moved back over to his desk and grabbed your file. It was practically useless. Majority of it was redacted. Training redacted. Name. Redacted. Year of birth though: 1991.
All you were able to gather was you were a sniper, a rookie and that you had one mission.
Ghost mentioned his suspicions about you to Johnny. Johnny said he was being paranoid..
He's assuming you started whilst he was either still in the SAS or just just with the task force. He was not sure... But he was going to find out one way or another.
Ghost made his way from his office and down the corridor to the stairs at the end. He began descending down the stairs until he reached the very bottom to reach a small boxy room.
RESTRICTED ACCESS was plastered bold in front of the single door that stood at the end of the room. He took out his key card from his inner jacket pocket and swipes the black pad. The light flickers from red to green and the door buzzes open.
Ghost walked through, walking up towards locked cabinets that had electronic keypads on them. They all lined the room.
Simon figured you had to be at least 18 to have started, born in 1991, so you had have been here between 2009 and 2010 at least.
He walked towards a cabinet numbered 011. He punches in the code and the lock clicks and the door is released. Pulling it towards him he grabs a box from the second shelf labelled 2009.
He pull out files stacked full of redacted pages. Plowing through them one by one. His tired eyes skimming the mass black lines. He moved onto another box after putting the one he had finished back.
You grunt every now and then. What was the point of keepin' these files if they're practically useless Ghost thought.
He was halfway through 2010's second box when he noticed a folder entitled Siberia.
The Captain
Ghost picks the file up cautiously. It's thin. You open it. Two sheets, double sided. Most of it blacked out.
He only heard briefly about this mission back then. All he was told that it went bad. The Captain led a small team to a remote Russian base in the mountains of Siberia.
They didn't make it back. The Captain executed.
You read over the two sheets. Only a few words visible: 2010. Two. Mountains. Captured and executed. MIA.
Seven words eh. Ghost thought, just seven words for a mission... That wouldn't happen today. Not with Shepherd now dust.
Placing the file back in the box and then back on the shelf. Ghost kneels down and brings forward a box labelled 'Personnel' on it.
He flips through the file and finds one with The Captain's name on it. He goes through the papers going through the list of soldiers The Captain had trained, just codenames and birth years, Ghost finds a match to 1991. Blue.
Blue... Ah. It began to click in his head. You were Blue.
Ghost packed the filed back. satisfied after his hunt, he knew who to expect now.
Making his way back upstairs, he received a call from Price. You had landed and were just about to arrive at base.
Ghost climbed back up the stairs and met up with Price and Soap to meet the new medic.
Price was going on about how used to work here years ago, you left and became a doctor. But now your licence is going to be revoked due to malpractice...
Ghost gave a concerned look at Price as they walked over to tarmac.
"She didn't kill anyone mate" Price exclaims once he noticed the concerned look on Ghost's eyes. "It's a whole misunderstanding" He adds and chuckles.
Soap looks up Ghost and then back to Price. He was just excited to have a new colleague.. A female colleague ;) Soap thought to himself smirking to himself.
This caught the attention of Ghost who looked back down at him. Ghost was unaware of the thought that crossed Soap's mind.
Ghost looked up and saw you ahead. Gazing up at the sky. Furrowed brows and lips that pursed to side.
You were in uniform. Green combat trousers, black jacket zipped up and the blue beret. Hair tucked in a bun at back of your skull.
Price yells your name and you look over, first at Price then at him and then to Soap.
Ghost had tried to envision your face from years ago when he was walking back up those stairs. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't, all he could think of was just an Indian person. To be honest he only guessed that cos of your name...
As you approach them, Ghost straightens up. He starts observing you straight away.
.....
The three of you reach Building 2, Soap opens the door and guides you in.
Ghost noticed your expressions on your face changed every so often. As though that face is showing the world that you are thinking, That you are taking everything in. Including him.
Every now and then, Ghost can feel you looking at him, he looks back and you just look away. Often times furrowing your brow further.
It's the mask Ghost says to himself.
Soap makes a joke about keeping you 'sweet' and nudges him pointing at you.
Ghost lets out a low grunt
Inside the building he notices you become more rigid. Tension looming across you. He sees your legs tremble slightly as you fumble with your pack retrieving a folder.
"Actually..." you start but then you trail off.
"Actually?"
"Nothing" you quip back. "Filled these out as requested by Captain Price" You added, holding out a piece of paper.
Ghost took the sheet, and quickly skimmed the form. More redacted data.
"Most of this is redacted" Ghost says those eyes still on the paper. "Like your file" he adds, hoping it would at least tease out a bit of information
But you stood there still... "Captain Price surely would've let you know why" You say curtly
Ghost looks briefly at Soap, then back at you.
"Was hopin' to get somethin' outa' you" Ghost said brightly whilst folding up the paper and placing in his back pocket.
He swiftly then picked up your pack and duffle bag, the least he could do. The look of worry flashed over your face.
Ghost looked at the woman in front of him. His eyes drifting from her beret, to those enigmatic brown eyes framed by thick black eyebrows that drew closer together the more he looked at you. Your nose round and squarish.. But your lips. They sure had a thought process of their own as they pursed and pouted. You tugged at the sleeve of your jacket.
He was teasing you and he didn't even say a word yet... :) Ghost smugly thought
A tinge of pink rising in your cheeks as you noticed him staring at you. You could see her eyes widen, as if she was saying 'back off'
Ghost relented and swung her pack and duffle over his shoulder.
Soap asked if he could carry your stuff.
"Nah, I got this Johnny" Ghost sighs and begins to head to the infirmary.
"Let's show her the infirmary" He added, walking off from you and Soap.
Once inside, Ghost observes you as you go straight to the window looking at the sunset. He could see a faint reflection in the window. You were in awe of something so simple like sunset. The way your lights just lit up watching the sun set.
Ghost walked over
"Best view on this side o' the buildin'" he says eyeing you still. You don't move or even flinch as he approaches and placed your pack and duffle down next to you gently.
"It really is something" You say in a chirpy manner.
As Ghost changed is focus from your reflection to the real you, he noticed how the sun's rays somehow just made your eyes... stunning. Not the brown colour he noted when he first inspected you. No. Your eyes had turned golden brown. Like honey.
Suddenly he felt a sharp yet soft 'ping' spread from his chest to his shoulders and down to his stomach which then fluttered..
Ghost readjusts himself. He looks at your again. Those eyes. Something has changed slightly within him.
Focus he told himself
"Johnny and I will get your room key" he finally says, looking away from you and back at Soap, who had taken his phone out and was trying to take a photo of the sunset..
"C'mon sergeant" he says walking past Soap and then stopping at the doorway.
He saw that Soap was trying to take a photo of you as you continue to watch the sunset.
Cheeky bastard Ghost thought
You turn to him and Soap, your face relaxed a bit, brows not furrowed anymore.
"Thank you Lieutenant Ghost and Sergeant Soap" You say.
Ghost continues to look at you, you smile weakly.
You must be tired he thought sympathetically
Soap comes to walk towards you
"Meet you at the Hole Lt, need to take a piss" Soap whispers as he leaves the infirmary
He grabs the doorknob and begins to close the door slowly.
Ghost returns his eyes to you, and yours to his. Both locked in. He sees you make your way towards him.
"Thanks again for carrying my stuff" you say, slightly softly, smiling weakly again.
You want me to leave he thinks as he watches your eye your hand on the doorknob. He felt something stir within him
Trying to suppress a smirk. He continues to slowly close the door.
"You are most welcome" he says, your weak smile becomes more forced
"Ruhari" he adds
Instantly your face changes from that weak soft smile to shocked as your lips form a small O. Your eyes widen.
He smiled. Something that just happened. This odd feeling just washed over his body. Across his face.
Ghost closes the door gently and walks away.
He didn't know what got into him the past few seconds. He felt a slight pleasure in teasing you just then. The smile. Your face. Your eyes. Golden brown.
