This is just my opinion based off of my impression of these characters, and I also really really like pokemon, sooo

Fleur: Personally I think Gardevoir would be a better fit for her in terms of her personality and story, Gardevoir is (obviously) VERY protective, and would quite literally do anything to keep their trainer safe, and I think that intensity just better fits Fleur especially considering what she's going through. And also we get to have a dilemma Gardevoir gets when their trainer is dying and they can't do anything about it!! Good stuff

Cooper: Sabelye is probably the better fit, while Excegutor is a pretty funny guy, Sabelye fits Coopers demonic themes a bit better and can be both funny AND spooky like Cooper (No diss to Alolan Excegutor that things nuts).

Ophelia: this ones a bit tricky, but frankly I'd go with Espur because if any pokemon gives off weird girl vibes, it's Espur.

The angst potential for Fleur is real with Gardevoir, I swear. Spot on, dear anon!

I agree heavily with your opinion. Though if Cooper alone were to choose, it be Alolan Exeggutor. Because big coconut tree that doesn't look like a dragon but is actually a dragon… I mean…… Big tree go Dragon Pulse brrrrrrr Cooper is rolling on the floor dying of laughter
