#Ex Blu Spy

I remade the silly TF2 base that lives inside my head in The Sims 4 for the 3rd time

And this time I'm actually happy with it!

Behold, the base that I use for a reference for when I write fanfiction! Photo spam incoming under the cut as well as me yapping.......

Some basic exterior shots, in short this is the main home base that the mercenaries all live in when they aren't currently deployed at a battlefield, ex. 2Fort or Badwater. Those battlefields all have much smaller bases attached or nearby for the mercenaries to temporarily reside in while they're in between trying to kill BLU.

This is the floorplan of the basement, with its primary features being the medbay, the workshop, the laundry room, and two sleeping quarters, which belong to Medic and Heavy.

The hallway outside of the medbay has a waiting area set up. There is an elevator that travels between the medbay and the garage for convenience.

It's worth noting that I am working here within the confines of The Sims 4, and can only do so much to achieve my actual visions of this base. Where the skeleton is, would be a scale of the type you would usually see in a doctor's office (Medic prefers to keep his skeletons in the closet, you see.) And the weird set-up of counters in the middle of the room would be a proper operating table, with his Medigun attached to the ceiling above it, among other strange contraptions.

The medbay has this little side room, that Medic mainly uses for storage. Though it works well as a quarantine room, if the need arises.

Closet Skeleton™!!!

Here we have Engie's workshop, which looks as you would probably expect.

Here we have some utility areas in the basement, consisting of the laundry room, a basement-y maintenance furnace type room, and a washroom.

I would rather keep all the mercenaries' bedrooms together, so I'm gonna skip Heavy and Medic's sleeping quarters for now and head up to the next floor!

This is the main floor of the base, where most of the action happens. It features the garage, meeting room, training gym, showers, a large washroom with multiple toilet stalls, a kitchen and dining area, a small living room, and four sleeping quarters, belonging to Demoman, Soldier, Engineer, and Pyro.

The garage is a bit of a mess, and its most noteworthy feature is the armory, where the mercenaries keep most of their gear during time off. Though clearly not all of them care about the danger of tripping hazards.

There's not much to say about the gym and meeting room, at least in this physical version. Once again, I am held back by the game I built this in. In reality, the meeting room would have a large round table, more centered in the room, and the gym would just generally have more going on for it, but I tried my best to capture what purpose they served.

You'll really have to use your imagination on this one and believe those weird pipes are showers, because I don't own any packs with standalone showers. Anyways, these are the communal showers, where you get to experience the joy of pretending you're in prison and staring at your coworker's butts!

I have a feeling Tumblr won't let me share all the bedrooms in this already ridiculously long post, so I'll probably have to attach them in a reblog. If Tumblr doesn't let me do even that, I guess I'll die? I sure hope it does! I do not know how Tumblr works.

But here's a little peek at some of the sleeping quarters......as well as the floorplan for the top floor even though it's basically all personal quarters. Sniper's, Spy's, and Scout's, to be exact.

This is a very self indulgent post about TF2 ships and the teams.

For the Red team:

Sniper and Scout 'best friends' but everyone except for the two of them realizes that they're absolutely romantic with one another.

Heavy and Medic are openly a couple

Engie is aroace, and not in a relationship with anyone.

Pyro is also not in a relationship with anyone.

Spy is exes with Scout's mom, but still pines after her and misses her a lot. (Alternatively, he is still in an active relationship with Scout's Ma, but he hides it from Scout by disguising himself as other people)

Demo is in a relationship with the Blu Soldier, but it's kept a secret from everyone else.

Soldier is Happily engaged to Zhanna.

For the Blu team:

As stated before, Soldier is in a secret relationship with the Red Demo

Demo and Sniper are a couple

Pyro and Scout are a couple

Engineer and Spy are together and it's super obvious even though they try to keep it hidden.

Heavy and Medic are together on Blu team as well, but they're much quieter about it than their red counterparts.

maggie works for her ex-husband's nemesis and it's honestly not explained why but she's also clearly ashamed or sad about it

sniper's bio parents are cowards and fools and don't much like him and there's a whole realization that he wasn't actually australian and it puts together a lot of puzzle pieces for him,

I always wondered like why does medic act so mean towards engie in ur fanart are they exes or medic just hates him for no reason..? Plus the hc of administrator being engies mom is rlly cool u cooked

well alot of the of the stuff of engi and medic beefing were lil joke based off a fic's writing of engi (so it was granted)

But- you aren't wrong either cuz in my headcanons medic and engi were a thing but there is no animosity. It's was back when they were on the BLU team and dumped each other shortly after the merge. But they're still chill with each other, still best friends and still have a blood pact to die before EVER confessing The Administrator contract for them to ANYONE.

So don't worry, they're not bitter exes

And for the second thing, I don't have the hc that The Administrator is Engi mom. She DID practically raise Engi tho. I imagine that The Administrator tends to interfere with people's personal lives to get the people she wants to serve her. Like hiring a hit squad to "hurt" Spy's family, causing him to think that his spy life and family lives can NEVER be this close and making him pick one or the other. Or getting a german doctor off of death row Or getting rid of any distraction for the Conaghers. And if it means the birthmother possibly leading her husband and child away from continuing working for her then bye-bye Mrs. Conagher.

This woman is a control freak and always five steps ahead, she finds ways.

but speaking of which! I remember this one headcanon from a ao3 fic tag saying The Administrator and Medic being related, like being his great great aunt or something. And THAT still hasn't left my head. Like it makes sense in a weird way, idk but when I first joined the TF2 fandom and read the comics I thought if anyone were to replace The Administrator for some bizarre reason, It would be Medic. idk but he just seems he has it to be 'The New Administrator' maybe just needs chill pill so he's not too high energy

Anyway with the hc it makes me think like- you could have gotten him out of Germany before everything happened why?? For war experience?? to break him??? Why was our Medic The Medic you kept?? She HATES when the mercs have big amounts of communication with each other, so why was this fine? Emesis Blue Parallel/Foil moment

Scout had every right to be furious with Medic.

Most importantly, Ma’s dead at the hands of a trusted friend that he invited to dinner. Scout got kidnapped and had his teeth pulled out too, right after telling the doctor that he was worried about it.

“Wait, Scout! I’m trying to help you!”

“If I had a gun, I’d shoot you! You sick ********!”

And yet…

“Well, go on then. Say somethin.”

He knows where Dr Ludwig is, and the two engineers are wondering how he got out. But instead of buying himself some time and revealing his ex-friend, Scout spits on this jerk and accepts his fate.

He accepts his fate instead of trying to bargain his way out or get revenge on the guy he trusted. Scout died just as innocent as he was at the start of the film, a victim of this Black/Grey cult.

Soldier tackled Spy to save him from being sniped, and then took a bullet to the chest after being treated like he can’t do anything right and threatened at gunpoint… by Spy!

And yet..

“What’s true to you? [Turns to Soldier] Or you? Who ran away.”

Soldier only took cover because Butcher Pyro was going to gun him down if he didn’t. Maybe Spy doesn’t know that he tried to open the door after it locked behind him, but he knows that Soldier saved him from Heavy and Sniper.

“I took a bullet for you!”

“I should have shot you myself!”

What makes it worse is that Spy has been in cahoots with Archibald, murdering BLU mercenaries that challenge his authority. Soldier had no idea how depraved Archibald and Spy were, or he wouldn’t have said that he lost a good man when meeting RED Demo.

“You think you can get away with this?”

“Builder’s League will destroy you for what you’ve done!”

“Don’t you get it, you mute freak?! I’m a protected man!”

Unlike Scout, he tries to threaten his torturer instead of accepting what’s happening. But he’s a protected man because he himself is willing to spill blood to cover BLU’s tracks and get promoted. And when he gives his speech at Archibald’s funeral, there’s no honor in it. He makes Medic the Scapegoat and proclaims himself the new chairman of the board.

BLU Scout died an honorable young man; BLU Spy died with blood on his hands and a lying tongue.

MEET THE EXCAVATOR

A lucky son of a duck woman from New York. Stumbling upon Mann Co. private property by mistake, she was able to sell herself away from the fists of Saxton Hale.

Ex’s responsibilities are to acquire scrap metal, Australium and more material for Mann Co’s high-demand inventory (also part secretary for RED Team as Miss Pauling has been assigned to work with BLU more).

Loadout:

Primary is her trusty Blasting Hoover. Don’t be fooled by its foolish appearance! It’s a 5-in-1 multi-purpose machine that gets the job done. It’s a magnet, drill, metal detector, vacuum and excavation blaster.

Secondary is are her Killer Crooks. They are dual grappling pistols. Working on a battlefield of a gravel war means being able to get out of danger when guns are blazing!

Melee is a basic Escape Plan pickaxe. HOWEVER! She was able to get the chainsaw she requested Mr.Hale, despite Bidwell’s anxious protesting.

OKOK SO, I can't tell u EVERYTHING about em bc that would make this EXTREMELY long, so I'll tell u how is their relationship w the RED mercenaries and their teammates :]

First, Nikolai:

RED Scout: He finds her quite annoying but he doesn't really mind her. She's a pain in the ass to kill but he kills her most of the time, bc he's slightly taller, stronger and faster than RED heavy.

RED Soldier: He feels really uncomfortable around her, after all, she's really racist towards him. He hates her the most bc of that, but also because she targets Frank most of the time.

RED Pyro: FUCKING TERRIFIED OF THEM. Each time they stumble across eachother, He takes Frank in his arms and runs aways as fast as humanly possible 😭.

RED Demoman: He's really chill about him, after all, he hangs out with Jonh a lot, making them interact often! They don't kill eachother in the battlefield, like, never akdhakdb (demo is a big friend of the BLU's :3)

RED heavy: he doesn't interact w him often, because he knows that makes Frank uncomfortable. But besides that, he really doesn't mind him (even tho he's his bf's ex, which is good bc Niko isn't toxic (el resuelve KSHDJALO AMO AAAA)). He doesn't understand him tho, like how can he leave such a baddie (Frank).

RED engineer: Like Demo, he's a good friend of the BLU's bc he hangs out often with Daniel. But he doesn't interact with him much because again, it makes Frank even more uncomfortable... I wonder why.

RED medic: THEY FUCKING HATE EACHOTHER. ISTG THEY'RE ABOUT TO THROW HANDS EACH TIME THEY LOOK AT EACHOTHER. They insult eachother in every single language possible, Medic yells "YOU FUCKING COPYCAT AND YOUR WEIRD BOYFRIEND. YOU VILL NEVER BE EVEN CLOSE AS HOW MUCH MIKHAIL IS. NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU CRY." And Nikolai replies "YOU WILL NEVER BE MORE THAN JUST AN EXPERIMENT AND AN ACCESORIE FOR YOUR USELESS TEAM, YOU PSYCHOPATH FREAK." The only way for them to stop fighting is for Frank and Heavy to stop em dang😭

RED sniper: He hates him too bc he targets him EVERYTIME. But besides that, he doesn't care.

RED spy: he's really disappointed of him for leaving Jennifer and Jeremy. He also hates him a lot because he's an asshole towards Frank. Always scaring Frank on purpose and backstabbing him so Frank panics and cries, suffering. It can take days for Frank to trust in Nikolai again each time spy disgueses as him in battle :( .

Jeremy (Scout): He's like a grandson figure to him :] He was really supportive even tho he didn't understand completely what TRANS means. He doesn't like how mean he is, though.

John (Soldier): He doesn't really mind him, and is really supportive w/ his relationship with Demo :]. John helped him a lot with understanding what TRANS is so he can support Jeremy.

BLU pyro: They don't interact much, but he respects them... Bc he knows his place😭 + Frank doesn't feel comfortable around them, so he interacts w em even less... Hm i wonder why Frank's so... Nervous about some teammates... anyway!

BLU Demo (I FORGOT HER NAME AUGH): Doesn't hang out w her a lot either because Frank isn't comfortable either. But even so, he likes her a lot! + She also helped with the TRANS thing :]

Daniel (Engie): they're good friends! He really trusts him. That's all. XD

Frank (Medic): if gloveless surgeries and literally being married isn't a big enough description of their relationship, I don't know what a good description is.

BLU sniper: they've never talked 💀 When he's asked about a sniper, he cluelessly says "we... We have a sniper??", the same for sniper, "we... We have a heavy??". Mostly bc Sniper is quiet asf and Frank doesn't feel comfortable around him.

BLU spy: They don't like eachother much. Everything about them is 100% professional. + Frank doesn't feel comfortable around him AT ALL.
