Sharing a body was strange. Ten limbs split between the nine of them- thirteen if one counted the tails and seventeen if one counted the fact that their cloak… skirt… whatever could mimic the wings of their other form.
One which they would change back to after a few moments- there was much less stumbling when it was all fours. Not to mention that if not for the tails they’d have easily toppled over with how many arms they had making them slightly top heavy. Okay more than slightly, it was taking a bit to adjust.
Honestly the fields of wheat and other crops did nothing to hide them with how tall even this body was, but it was still better than nothing, and they were using the fact it was the middle of nowhere to their shared advantage.
At least the humanoid- not human, even now their shared power thrummed through the air, leaking from them- form was smaller than their true draconic one. Well, perhaps they shouldn’t call it their true form, when they were once all human, halfa and liminal alike, but they’d long since stopped being such. So perhaps it was in fact true to call the form they had become as their normal state now.
Actually, could they even separate now? Or had their power melded together so much that it was impossible now, and an attempt would end them? It would at the very least crack their core-
“What the fuck.”
Their head lurched, a little too far if the jolt of pain was anything before it melted away. They were all too used to moving their own necks separately. But all of them agreed that discovery could not happen-
Oh.
It was a child. A preteen with red-orange hair, blue-green eyes, expensive clothing, and most damming of all, large swaths of bruising across his arms. Bruising that did not come from usual play, and looked far too much like hand prints for any of their comfort.
Someone had very much not been taking care of this child. And that really made them quite angry.
Smallville season 6 au where Lana and Lex getting engaged/ married is what drives Clark to move on beyond Smallville and start toward his journey to becoming Superman.
It’s not instant; he’s still in love with Lana, but he knows she won’t ever really be safe if she knows his secret. If not Lex, relentlessly obsessed, it could be Lionel, or anyone else desperate enough to control him. (And, deep down, Clark knows it’s never really worked with Lana. There are reasons he never felt he could truly be himself with her.)
But Clark dedicates himself to finding the rest of the Phantom Zone prisoners. Instead of swearing not to start his training until the prisoners are all found and dealt with, Clark splits his time between hunting the prisoners and training in the Fortress—because while he held his own against krypto-metas, intergalactic criminals are another beast entirely. At some point, Chloe drags him up for air to keep him from getting himself killed. (Dealing with heartbreak and a single-minded mission isn’t always a good thing.) Oliver drags him into working a mission with the nascent Justice League. (Proving a top dollar executive is embezzling funds or whatever isn’t the same as fighting aliens—but it does save jobs & livelihoods.)
Then comes the slightly altered season 6 finale. Lana fakes her death to escape Lionel’s threats, frames Lex; Clark fights Bizzaro, etc. (Clark hears about Lana’s “death” from Lionel, but after knowing that Lionel threatened Lana, he’s almost certain that Lionel witnessing Lana’s death isn’t a coincidence. And despite the rift with Lex, he doesn’t believe that Lex would have hurt Lana.)
Don’t get me wrong, I love Kara, but she wouldn’t come in yet (or until after Clark has established himself as Superman). Instead the new Season 7 would open with a tenuous alliance between Clark and Lex as they try to solve Lana’s “murder”, and Clark shifts his focus toward Metropolis, becoming a reporter for the Daily Planet, making secret saves in the shadows (whether becoming the Red-Blue Blur as a precursor to Superman or just skipping that step entirely).
And of course, we can’t forget about Veritas—and what Lionel might do to “protect” the Traveler who he can’t control….
(As an aside: in this au, Lionel was responsible for the whole fake pregnancy thing with Lex and Lana. Cause that felt cruel and extremely out of character even for “evil” Lex cause wtf was that anyway??)
I might be remembering wrong but I remember an episode of Smallville where there was a universe where Clark was raised as a Luthor instead of a Kent and he’s evil or something and hates Lex
But I love the idea of a similar universe where Clark hates Lionel and just decided “fuck it I’m going to run away and live with Lex instead” and just speeds off to Smallville meanwhile Lex is just so exasperated that his brother has run away from home but is also like yeah I’ll let you stay
I’ve been rewatching Person of Interest and I’ve finally reached that episode in season 3. I can’t believe they fucking kill her 😭😭😭😭😭 It’s been haunting my mind since halfway through season 2 and now I’m gonna have to see it all over again.

Finally about to start season 4 of smallville, it was worth the pain of constant saving of lana in the end she got jason whole season kekeke. Not excited for her storyline this season but it will amazing to rewatch Jackles pre-spn era hehehe
Because when i was watching last time this show it brought me to spn thanks to this lil guy i was sad they k him off and that he was up for just one season so i did research where can i see him next or something and breaker breaker i fell for spn (i think it was like 2007? Because we used to watch smallville as it aired later on czech tv) then we had later rewatch with sister but ended around s6 i think 7 was about to start then i was into tvd and arrow (i kinda regret tvd but stefan and klaus were my boys so i stayed for them uff) so spn kinda were on break with me i was trying to keep up later but didnt do proper whole rewatch until this year and oh boy i fell harder (bonus im confident to draw now i wasnt back then) breaker breaker i think once i finish smallville season 4 I might start spn again because it was so much fun after long day just watch three eps before sleep so yea lets start the jason teague era!
If he evil why sho cute?✨
(Also Lionel’s hair? Rip you were everything i will miss you)
Honorable mention 3x22 including the actress that played jess in spn hehe
"oh, look at that stoic face. still keeping the 「 act 」 up, accolon, all by your lonesome?" there's a jeer in the question, red eyes seemingly glowing above the cheery smile. until they close as lionel lowers his head, giving a dramatic bow. "you should try to smile, my king. you're meant to be an example, you know? even in the face of all this boredom."
"My, are you worried about me, my good Sir Lionel? You're correct, though, I must ever keep up the act, if only to keep the more nosy ones at bay." Golden eyes closed in a smile, surprisingly honest in the fondness radiating from it. And why wouldn't he be so in the face of his knight? And fellow Vanguard at that. Shaking his head, Accolon squeezed Lionel's shoulder in thanks.
"There's no need to bow to me, after all, I could not achieve a thing were it not for your most generous aid, my friend." And in turn, Pretender was happy to offer his aid for Lionel's goals.
