Arcturusmon may be a Digimon that is made from focusing and pushing dark energy to its limit... but that doesn't exactly mean he's evil. As a matter of fact, when it comes to you, he seems to cherish you even more, and he seems to look at dark things as beautiful. He can even make the darkest of things seem so beautiful to your eyes as well with how he introduces you to it and how he treats such things people may consider terrifying or scary.

Black roses are his go-to flowers to give you, always careful with how he maneuvers it through your hair or perhaps onto an article of clothing with the thorns still on it.

Arcturusmon is also quite affectionate and comes up with the strangest nicknames for you, and yet they still sound so full of care and love that you hardly notice their oddness. He says them with so much adoration, so much love, the deep voice of his just making it much more alluring. You love it, and you can't help but to swoon every time he goes on about how he loves and adores you.

If you love the dark and creepy aesthetic as well, then it truly is a match made in heaven. For he does adore doing dark poetry with you, and he does enjoy getting you the oddest of outfits to wear that he thought you may look good in. Even if you didn't, he may do so, because he loves the idea of you wearing such dark clothes compared to your usual ones. You don't have to, but on special occasions, perhaps entertain him some with it.

Arcturusmon actually helps with any fears you may have by showing you the upside to it. He talks you through them gently, whispering that it's not as scary as it may seem, that certain things don't actually want to harm you, and that nothing will harm you so long as he is with you. Even the creepy crawlies he helps you identify and shows there is nothing to fear from them as he holds them. You don't have to, but he does it with such ease, even with his drill-like arms.

Absolutely cloaks you with his wings when you're cold, or about to fall asleep. He may be a bit strange to fall asleep on, but he is very warm. Cloaking you with his wings like he's wrapping you up, whispering sweet and soft nothings into your ear as he lets you drift off. He always somehow manages to slink out from under you and fetches you something to eat and drink in the morning. Don't ask him how he managed to cook something if he presents you with a hot meal. He managed, that's all you need to know.

Minecraft has been a huge mark on the gaming scene for the past 10 years. However, its developer Mojang has a bit of a bad reputation these days, keeping Minecraft updates sparse and low on content. One of the things players always look forward to the most is the addition of new biomes, which spruce up the exploration aspect of the game and add a ton of new blocks. The recent Wild Update was a disappointment, delivering only one biome which was promised ages ago. If you’re one of those players, then it’s time to delve into the wonderful world of mods. The Biomes o Plenty mod is full of unique-looking biomes to explore and settle. Here are the ones we like the most: 10) Jade Cliffs Jade Cliffs are one of the best biomes for building sprawling bases and mining complexes, as there’s plenty of room for expanding your builds both horizontally and vertically. An abundance of spruce trees also makes the biome a great place to start, giving you all the resources that you need to make your architectural dreams come true. Aesthetically, you also have a sky with a slight tint of green to look forward to, especially during sunsets.  Overall, if you’ve just installed the mod, be on the lookout for this one first. 9) Orchard Just like its namesake in real life, the Orchard biome is phenomenal for farming apples, albeit this has been nerfed a bit in more recent updates. Even with that in mind though, this biome is also great for making your own farms, with ponds and plenty of plants such as flax around to get your first farm started relatively quickly. The grass is a natural and sunny shade of green, while the flowering oak trees and rose bushes give a friendly look to the whole place. 8) Fungal Jungle One of the funkier and more fantastical biomes added by this mod, Fungal Jungle has a lot going for it. At first glance, it might seem toxic because of the green-yellowish hue in the air, but don’t let that fool you, there’s a great mix of resources here to keep you coming. There’s a load of mushrooms, as you’d guess from the name, including toadstools which are a new type added by this mod. There are also usually patches of mycelium covered in red mushrooms everywhere. Couple that with a decent amount of wood and a lot of animals you can kill, it’s great for an off-the-beaten-path secondary base. 7) Auroral Garden Previously referred to as Rainbow Hills, the Auroral Garden biome is the closest thing to a winter paradise. There are no hostile mobs anywhere in the vicinity, the ground is covered in violets and irises, and the trees are full of colorful and saturated leaves. Not only is this biome beautiful and peaceful, but it’s also a great place to build a base, giving you plenty of options for securing food. A mushroom field can always be found close by too. The only real downside of this biome is that it’s very hard to find, and you might need to start seed hopping to even have a chance of seeing it. 6) Ominous Woods If you’ve ever been a horror movie fan, you will love this biome. It’s truly described by its name, with an ominous wind seeping through every corner of this place. The trees look withered, the water is dark purple, and the ground is full of dead leaves and thorns that will give you a queasy feeling. It’s not just about the atmosphere though, as the biome is full of hostile mobs like illusioners and cave spiders. It’s not too much to handle generally, just make sure you stay away if you’ve got mods that make the game more difficult installed. 5) Lush Desert Lush Desert biomes are filled with acacia trees and orange sand, hinting at a safari in Australia. It’s no surprise when you find out this biome was supposed to be the replacement for Outback, which was directly based on the central areas of the country. There’s lots of empty open space here that makes it not so great for your first night, but perfect for building a quaint little village in the middle of nowhere.

Building a farm here is also a good idea, as there’s not too many animals around to hunt for food. 4) Cherry Blossom Grove There’s nothing prettier than pink cherry trees, whether in real life or in Minecraft. That’s why the Cherry Blossom Grove is easily one of the best-looking biomes in this list, with a wide variety of flowers also dotting the landscape and contributing to the unmatched atmosphere you can stumble upon here.  Cherry wood is also a great addition and can give an artistic touch to your houses. If you get lucky enough to spawn here, you’ll also be showered with food, with plenty of animals and harvestable trees around. 3) Volcano A great biome for any industrialist, Volcano biomes have so much lava that you can use for all your smelting needs. There’s also a huge amount of ash that works as a fuel source too, and plenty of basalt and stone coat the surroundings of magma lakes. If you’re looking to build Mordor, you’ve truly come to the right place. On the other hand, it’s not worth visiting here on a hardcore run, as you’re bound to take a wrong step and end up in flames. 2) Origin Valley Sometimes you want to go back to simpler times, and for a lot of Minecraft players that time was 2010. The game’s alpha had just come out and nobody truly knew the greatness that was in store for this random indie title. T o celebrate the legacy of the game, Origin Valley is a huge dose of nostalgia delivered to you in the form of a biome. The colors, the sky, the terrain, even the older versions of the roses and dandelions perfectly mimic what the game used to be. The biome is one of the rarest, but it’s worth finding it just to go back to your roots. 1) Sacred Springs This list wouldn’t be the same if we didn’t mention Sacred Springs, even though it was removed in 1.13.2. Unanimously loved and exuding the most peaceful atmosphere, this biome was best described as an oasis in the forest. The hot spring water that appeared here also protected players by giving them Regeneration. It was the perfect spot to build a base, and it’s a huge shame that it was removed. Understanding a Backstory/Origin

Backstory

Every character has a backstory that serves as a basis to their persona and identity. A character’s Backstory is a key fundamental to giving more depth to character, without it a character is just as one-sided as a background character or a cameo.

Picture this. You’re hungry(for an exposition), so you’re gonna eat this burger. Think of your character as a burger. Would you eat a burger, no lettuce, no mayo, no sauce, no kale, no patty and no bun?

Whilst the construct is subjective per individual and based on the majority, the idea is that a burger is unsatisfactory without its key ingredients (a patty sandwiched between two buns). Likewise, for a character to be just as fleshed out, they would require a backstory. Just as every burger is personalised by the ingredients used in them, every individual character is just as unique in their own way. If a character has a scar, don’t ignore it as a aesthetical element to make your character cool, tell the viewers how they got that scar, how they were before that event, their changes after the event and so on.  It helps your audience get invested in a character.

Ernest Hemingway described the importance of what isn't told in a story as analogous to an iceberg, where only 1/8th is visible, the rest adds mass and significance.

What was the event that led to who she is now? What was she called before the event and how different was she before the event?

To answer those questions, you’ll have to read the sonic comics by IDW. If you did, chances are, you were interested in the character’s backstory,(I know there are a plethora of other characters with different backstories, so let’s just assume for now) but how does she tie up with the comic overall, and what is her goal?

Make the audience put things together, don’t give them 4, give them 2 + 2 (which makes 4) Judith Weston says that ‘all characters have a spine’. This inner motor is a dominant, Unconscious goal they are striving for, to scratch that itch.

Convictions and beliefs: What are your character’s political, social, and economic views? Does your character have any theories on life in general or in detail? How did he, she or they come to feel that way?

Family background: Invent your character’s family history, including the uncle they were named after but never sees. Friends are included in this category.

Geographic location: Detail any environment that helped shape your character’s present circumstances. Create everything from the climate to the socio-economic make-up of the community to the carefully manicured lawns.

Key events: Virtually every event in a story will be possible because of something that’s occurred in the past. What events led up to those in your story, and why did they occur?

Past successes and failures: People are shaped in part by their best and worst memories. Knowing what your character’s track record is may be helpful in certain situations that arise in the script itself.

Phobias: Your characters’ fears dictate what they avoid in life and, in some cases, what’s pushing them to succeed. Think specific and general; a fear of rose thorns may be just as compelling as a fear of commitment.

Profession: How do your characters make a living? Do they enjoy working at the library, or are they biding their time? How did they get where they are?

Quirks: What makes them unique, physically and psychologically?

System of values: People differ in where they draw the line between right and wrong. What do your characters value most in themselves? What types of behaviour would make them ill?
