It's time for another one of my opinion post , this time on the different versions/outfits of the perpetual winner of worst father of the year award, Gendo ikari.

Iconic pose ™ Gendo: classic look, much scheming. Always confused about the big ass gem on his lapel. He is serving genocide and looks.

Actually he wears suspenders?. This is cursed knowledge, he looks like cheap robotnik.

Young delinquent Gendo: timeless turtleneck, but only magneto can pull that off.

The trio of pain picture: he looks shredded, his wardrobe is just an infinite succession of turtlenecks?.

Goofy green parka. I actually like this although it seems like something an outwear Hypebeast would resell on ebay.

The reboot also has outwear, but they look like homeless people. Bonus points for the donkey. It looks cute.

polyphemus Gendo: truly horrible thing , must be killed on sight.

Scraggy look: it doesn't actually look that back. Inexplicable hipster vibes.

Beardless Gillette ad Gendo: just a big no. Aren't you happy this post is over ?. Look at his happy face , it wants death

I feel like people don’t talk enough about the Neon Genesis Evangelion game that was on the N64. The soundtrack uses the exact same sound font as Super Mario 64 which resulted in the funniest official rendition of Komm, süsser Tod:

I did gendo a few weeks ago , so now i want to rate 5he outfits of the worlds most tired grandpa, Fuyutsuki. Or " i simped so hard i ended up helping commit several crimes against humanity"

Standard Fuyutsuki: he kinda echoes Gendo design because apparently it's a uniform ( but he's the only vice commander ever i think so...) Boring brown suit, but the lapel gem is , as gendo's a cool detail.

Crusty old Fuyutsuki: he's a senior citizen , also this man needs a chair or something.

Standard suit Fuyutsuki: a very academia look. I like the big jacket.

Getting friend zoned on a hike: this is the kind of outdoor look that's cool today ( outwear! Bucket hat!) But he looked like a nerd. He also wears a polo so it's definitely not a fashion thing.

Flashback : he looks like the most destroyed professor ever. He's even worse than in the movies. Kyoto university exploited this men.

And now the real bangers:

Light novel traditional Japanese: this slams , he looks like every Bushido master who's secretly a badass. His best look. I mean just the hair alone.

Kamen rider Collab: it's a cool look , but it's too cool for him. Turtlenecks should be left to Gendo.
