Aphrodite and Hephaistos
I've made a few posts about Lady Aphrodite and Her many lovers, but have never talked about Her husband Himself, Lord Hephaistos!
Hephaistos (Hephaestus, Ἡφαιστος)
Hephaistos is the god of fire, smiths, craftsmen, metalworking, stonemasonry, and sculpture. He is also associated with disability, as He Himself is disabled. He was either the son of Queen Hera and King Zeus or Queen Hera by Herself.
Hephaistos and Aphrodite never had children together, though Hephaistos may have had children with Aglaea, Kabeiro, Aitna, Gaea, and Antiklea.
Aphrodite and Hephaistos in the Myths
*Just so y'all know, when talking about the Gods in Their myths, I am less formal when talking about Them, so that's why pronouns aren't capitalized and names aren't preceded by Lord, Lady, King, or Queen.
Marriage
Angry that his mother Hera had thrown him off of Olympus, Hephaistos sent gifts to the Olympians. One gift was a golden throne for Hera, which trapped her when she sat on it. Zeus declared that anyone who could free his wife would earn Aphrodite's hand in marriage (she agreed to this, believing that her lover Ares would succeed). Being notified of this declaration by Dionysos, Hephaistos returned to Olympus and freed his mother. This led to Aphrodite and Hephaistos getting married.
Hephaistos Catching Aphrodite and Ares in a Net
Helios saw Aphrodite and Ares together and told Hephaistos, who immediately began plotting revenge. He created an unbreakable net and placed it over a bed before leaving to visit Lemnos. Ares and Aphrodite were soon caught in the net and trapped. Hephaistos then invited the other gods to see Ares and Aphrodite trapped.
Divorce?
Some sources say that Aphrodite and Hephaistos continued to be married despite Aphrodite's many other lovers, while some say that the two divorced and Hephaistos remarried the Kharite Aglaea, and the two had four children; Eukleia, Euthenia, Eupheme, and Philophrosyne.
In My Personal Experience
*This section is entirely UPG, you may not share the same experiences or have completely different ones, this is just how they are for me, personally.
I personally believe that not only are Lady Aphrodite and Lord Hephaistos still married, They love each other greatly. Lady Aphrodite is polyamorous, as She is Love, She loves many, so She can love Her husband and love Ares and Adonis and Hermes and all of Her other lovers without love being taken away from any of them. You can't run out of love. Lord Hephaistos can similarly love Lady Aphrodite and Lady Aglaea and His other lovers.
I don't worship Lord Hephaistos often, though I would like to, so most of my experiences with/about Him have more to do with Lady Aphrodite. In readings with Lady Aphrodite just talking about nothing in particular, I have gotten things about Her talking about Lord Hephaistos and how much She loves Him. I have also felt his presence while I've been talking to Lady Aphrodite. The two really feel like an old married couple (which they are), and it's so sweet.

Here's a list with obscure deities from Greco-Roman Mythology to obssess about

Epione: The goddess of the soothing of pain and Asclepcius' wife;
Eucleia, Eupheme, Euthenia and Philophrosyne: Hephaestus and Aglaea's daughters;

Porus: God of plenty and a son of Metis, making him the half-brother of Athena;
Praxidike: The goddess of judicial punishment and the exactor of vengeance;
Priapus: A minor fertility god, known for trying to rape Hestia once and his large equipment;
Ptocheia: Greek goddess of beggary;

Okay, so for my own fanfictions, most of which take place post-TOA and therefore post-Percy "claim your children" Jackson and Jason "honor minor gods" Grace, I made myself a spreadsheet of all the cabins I believe could plausibly be at Camp Half-Blood, and ended up with a whopping 270, and there's probably more dieties whom I couldn't find any information on, and some dieties whom I don't believe would have a cabin (ex. Kronos) (if you think I should add someone comment) and decided to paste it here, since I don't feel comfortable sharing my original spreadsheet. I did add the water dieties, even though their kids could also plausibly go to the underwater camp, but I've decided to give them the option of what camp they want. I also didn't copy their domains, but I have the list from my research, so you can ask if you'd like, I'll be glad to explain! Most of my research was from Theoi Project - Greek Mythology, and Brittanica, and probably some others I've since forgotten, so if you know any good Greek Mythology resourses and books, please share!
Here's some symbols before we begin:
* - virgin goddess. I added them because Athena and Artemis already have cabins (and Athena kids by magical means)
" - Dieties whom have faded in the series. Their cabins are more memorials to them.
Additionally there are 2 dieties named Thalia, (1) Thalia refers to the muse, the goddess of comedies, and (2) Thalia refers to the goddess of festivities and banquet

So that's my list. I don't really have a rhyme or reason for why each number is each, but I did clump together gods with similar domains because that's where they were easiest to find in my research... I honestly think kids of minor gods are very underused in TOA fics, and even in PJO and HOO to an extent. Jillie, my nine year old daughter of Gelus with a contageous laugh? One of my fave OCs.
As for Roman gods and goddess, I'm not as knowledgable, but hopefully I'll make a spreadsheet for plausable godly parents, though unlike CHB it doesn't need to be organized as there's just Cohorts. I don't write Camp Jupiter fics all that often, but it'll be a good resource to have if I choose to.

Queen Jaela Doreis and her baby Princess Aleia. Queen Jaela was the queen consort on the planet Evalea becfore a war between her grandchildren would result in complete destruction of the monarchy and the rise in power for the Sylah family instead. Queen Jaela was around the time that Thaniea Hio was on the chambers/council for both the galaxy and the universe.
The two of them met through their universal meetings as they came from two different galaxies (Thaniea from Palioxis while Jaela from Euthenia) and Thaniea would often give Jaela parenting advice and help her when she would visit Palioxis.

“PENIA was the personified spirit (daimona) of poverty and need. She was a companion of Amekhania (Want of Resource) and Ptokheia (Beggary). Her opposite number were Ploutos (Plutus) (Wealth) and Euthenia (Prosperity).”
Like Alakshmi, I respect her. Everybody like to pretend they’re naturally so abundant, fantasy daydream and always sunny and smiling, I honor this energy of the universe that motivates and encourages us to want more 💖

yes of course! Pallas deserves all the love, I'm glad you like her!! you can decide her middle name if you want, I knew it had to start with an e so I could call her Pep but I didn't pick a name
what do the Parkinsons look like? because I picture Pallas with dark hair and maybe green eyes? but idk what the rest of them look like
AMAZING THANK YOU!!!!
if we keep up the greek mythology then the E could be eos, echo (but that would be a sad name), eurydice would also be sad, eucleia and euthenia are apparently younger charites which is less depressing
pallas euthenia parkinson does have a nice stressed-unstressed-unstressed syllable pattern going on,,,,,
dark hair and green eyes would work for sure - i envision priam with dark hair and eyes, OH EXTRA FAMILY DETAIL I JUST REMEMBERED - their mom is lady lavinia parkinson née greengrass, she's first cousins with lord greengrass and evan's mom, i haven't named their dad but he could be like. peregrine parkinson. keeping up the 3 syllable stress pattern
#evan's mom is SUUUPER blonde but they're cousins not like. identical twins#so lavinia doesn't have to resemble her#but yeah priam and evan are second cousins!#dark lord wip#should i make an inbox tag

I really want to ship Nonny with Lahabrea, but I feel like that’s going to cause so many problems and I’m just tired. He’s been a fixture of her story since ARR, there’s a lot of setup there. Even in her Ancient self they had a great deal of respect and admiration for him, they were a warder at Pandaemonium before being named to the Seat of Azem:
Euthenia was their name, and their long ears (typically hidden under their cowl) were a petty defiance against Amaurotine custom.
But lalafell, and I just don’t know how to dodge the drama.
(Note: Euthenia goes by they/them, Nonora by she/her.)

Eupheme was watching with interest, "So, are you human? Or god?"
"I- human?"
"Girls!"Aglaea said. "Enough!"
"But, mom! She's human!" Eupheme said. "Isn't that exciting?!"
"Girls, what did you father say about behaving?"
Euklea leaned against her sister, glaring at the floor, "You can't even ask questions anymore."
"Harassing people isn't the same as asking questions," Artemis said, sitting beside Audrey. She lowered her voice, "You okay?"
"Fine," Audrey said. "I can handle teenagers."
"You're a saint then," Aglaea said. "Even, I can't handle them and I birthed 'em."
Euthenia glared. Eupheme nodded, "That's very rude mother."
"Well, you three terrors are being rude to our hosts. Aren't you always claiming to be Charite goddesses?"
The three of them rolled their eyes, huddling together.
"Right, so," Audrey said. "Uh...how is everything with you guys?"
Do you think covid existed in the Season? Do you think that for 2020-2021 Zeus couldn't host two Seasons. He had to wait until 2022 when restrictions finally lifted?
I'm gonna assume that covid didn't exist for my own sanity
