'Male Model Acting' painted some time after 1904, as painted by Swedish painter Eugène Jansson (1862 - 1915) known for his depictions of the night on landscapes along with blue shaded cityscapes.  dominated by shades of blue. From about 1904 he mainly painted male nudes. The earlier phases of his painting career have caused him to sometimes be referred to as "the blue-painter".
