Dimitri was totally into Emma/Melinda's goth woman aesthetic - he was literally roleplaying as a dark magic wielding "magician" before he got zapped with the Edred beam. There's no way he wouldn't want to bag himself a goth girlfriend WHILE "roleplaying" as a magical being, so ofc he's not going to try fighting off Edred like Emma is trying to fight off Melinda [well for now anyway].

So, one of my roommates is a fourth grade teacher and friends with a bunch of the moms who live in the complex, and one of the moms comes over with her kids about three times a week now that it’s summer and my roommate is on summer break. The other day, while they were all here, one of the kids, who’s ten, I think, up and asks, “Hey, what’s a spectrum?”

I’m in the room at the time. And she asked the whole room. So I start explaining about the spectrum of visible light, because a spectrum can refer to a lot of things and it seemed like a good way to illustrate the basic concept.

And, per usual, I get no more than two thirds of the way through the first sentence when the mom tuts, cuts me off, and says, “It’s when somebody’s autistic, honey.”

I mean. Okay, I can acknowledge that that’s probably closer to what the kid was actually asking about, but ma’am? Ma’am?? Excuse me???? MA’AM?????

Like Endgame made some Choices™ but out of phase four the only one that I'd say was actually bad was Love and Thunder, and that was half good. Granted I haven't seen Wakanda Forever yet but the rest were pretty damn solid, and the TV shows, too.

Is this the goddamn backdoor thing? For context, and it's probably or it should be obvious why Im not explicit with this, backdoors into planes of reality. Backdoors into things, Consciousnesses, states, the coding and whatnot of reality itself where it's left open to external people coming in to redo it. The backdoor to the physical plane lays outside of it due to the fact that the physicality of the physical plane is one polarised end of the physical plane, not it's entirety, but uh. yeah. Hmm. Ok
