She is standoffish with people she doesn’t know very well but once she warms up to you she will protect you with her life. She is also very loyal to those she deems worthy. If you piss her off enough then she will shun you which means she will act like you don’t exist at all.

Zelda is actually pretty scared of insects; they gross her out to no end. She’s also incredibly afraid of rejection from her friends and family.

11. Bad or petty habits

She throws herself headfirst into potentially dangerous situations without thinking - especially if it concerns the well being of a loved one. As a complete opposite, she has the habit of overthinking small, less trivial problems.

12. Grudges and vendettas

She will forever hate Dark Core for what happened with Justin, and will never forgive herself or them for getting him involved with the mess that is Jorvik’s darkest secret. She does try to push her disdain for Darko down a notch for the sake of her friend, Esmeralda Shadowlord.

13. What gets them flustered

Romantic gestures get Zelda terribly flustered, but she still appreciates them to no end. It’s always nice to be reminded of how much someone loves you.

14. Ingrained habits/forces of habit

She always keeps her rune wand and Aideen’s Light on her person - after carrying them around a lot in the past, it’s sort of second nature to her to take them with her whenever she goes anywhere. She also sings in the shower.

18. Things they’ll never admit

When Justin was gone, Zelda bought his jacket off of the woman who was selling it (just about refraining from asking where she got it and why exactly she was selling it) and kept it until he was rescued from Dark Core, upon which she promptly returned it to him - claiming to have “found it just lying around” one day.

o   Light brown with golden streaks running through it

o   Hair Style: often worn down and parted on her left side, below the part on the left side she has multiple braids to help keep it out of her face

·         Black eyebrows that arc nicely

·         Has scars here and there on her body and a small scar under her left eye

She was raised at a Duke’s castle in the Kingdom Maria and her father was the master of horse for the castle.  She went against her father’s wishes and learned how to fight along with the other boys. She excelled at sword fighting and had the unique skill of being able to shoot an arrow from horseback.  Esmeralda got along better with the boys then she ever did with girls. She was always an outsider when it came to interacting with girls her age because she was a freak in their eyes by learning to fight and being as tall as she was.  

On her 18th birthday she set off on her own only with her horse, a young, dapple gray Jorvik warmblood gelding named Dancer, and armed with a bow and arrows.  While camping in the woods, she started feeding a male and female pair of wolves, whom after a while started staying near her campsite until they got to the point where they slept next to Esmeralda to share warmth.  The next spring the wolf pair had 4 pups and Esmeralda had set up a permanent campsite by a stream where the hunting was good and the grass plentiful.  Eventually after around a year the wolf pack had grown to 15 members and they all worked together to keep Esmeralda and Dancer safe from others.  Esmeralda decided they should move on from where they were and traveled to the mainland of Jorvik with her pack in tow.

When you start writing you can have her on her own with the pack and then after a while meet with the group of knights who hunt magical creatures
