So I was thinking: If the Romeo & Juliet Theory turns out to be correct, then that means Noa and Mae will die together (Ironic because this is exactly what Proximus told them would happen). And since Noa was compared to Cornelius in one of the interviews, I think they could do a callback to the ending of Escape from the planet of the apes with Noa dying and Mae being fatally wounded and crawling to lie with him before dying too.

Okay, so this has been on my mind for a while. Since the reboot Planet of the Apes trilogy has, arguably the best version, of Caesar

Who is loosely based on the OG franchise's version, and a bit of Julius Caesar.

And reboot Caesar eventually has a son named Cornelius

Who's named not only after his mother, but both characters are named after one of the OG franchise's favorite apes from the 1968 film.

If the sequel to Kingdom jumps ahead a few years like Dawn, Noa and Soona might have children.

Aaaand if they have a daughter, I think I have an idea of who she will be named after from the OG franchise!!!!

ZIRA!!!

AND IT MAKES A LOT OF SENSE! Because of Noa's newfound interest in science (fixing the cattle prod) and space (the observatory).

I know Zira in the OG films is an animal psychologist, I think it'll be kind of neat if reboot Zira had an interest in space!

hey I’m sorry about your boyfriend. yeah no, he was only in the movie long enough to deliver some crucial exposition and then die. also? this part is embarrassing but he was killed by the gorilla. honestly you kind of had to be there, it’s not as weird as it sounds. I’m sorry though. I know I promised that nobody was going to get killed by the gorilla and that’s like, the very first thing that happened, so I get why you’re mad.

I've been rewatching escape from the planet of the apes so many times I couldn't stop drawing cornelius in a suit 🙈🙈
