imagine dancing with your f/o.

maybe it's slow and gentle, a private moment together. their hand on your lower back, gently guiding you. you feel afloat in a dream as you let your eyes close. your head rests on them. imagine the heat of their body against yours, the soothing sounds around you.

maybe it's energetic, your hearts light as you laugh together, not caring about anything but moving your body. after the song ends, you stand there together, sweaty and out of breath, smiling like idiots.

or maybe it's thoroughly choreographed, like a ballroom dance. you stop thinking about the movements soon after you start, muscles carrying you where you need to be to meet your partner perfectly. you feel gorgeous/beautiful/handsome as you meet their eyes during a dip, reveling in you all dressed up like it's the first time they'd ever seen something so remarkable.

Looking back on our middle school dragon books that we loved (The Erth Dragons trilogy) and MAN we really should have realized that we’re dragonkin sooner

The main human character in those books ends up somewhat becoming part dragon himself, and the whole time we read those books we were like “man, wish we were him” and imagined ourself having the scale patches on our arms and stuff. Also tried to teach ourself how to speak parts of the dragons’ language (young us could not figure out a lot of the pronunciation unfortunately).

Also the whole concept of Fire Tears? That every dragon’s auma is contained in this tear, and when they cry it is when they die? And if the tear doesn’t return to the Earth the dragon’s spirit can’t rest properly? It resonated with us so deeply and honestly still does.

Honestly we should reread those books; they made our dragon heart so happy when we were younger (and tbh we might be a dragon from that world, who knows. Not a Last Dragon Chronicles one though; that series just confused the heck out of us even though it’s a connected universe)

This ask made me realize that I don't actually have all that many! I have the ones I've already posted, like these birthday ones and these lava lamps, but I don't have much more than that. I was able to dig out these guys though :D

my favourite doctor needs a hefty dollop of just some guy, with a sprinkle of whimsy (bit more... bit more... bit more..... I'll do it give it here), two parts childish curiosity to one part grumpy old (or is that two parts grumpy old to one part childish curiosity, I never can read the scribbles), you can eyeball how much Creechur seems appropriate but don't be shy with it. and then if you want you can add a pinch of Machiavellian morality for spice. be careful putting that in, you don't want to give them too much of a god complex unless you plan on making a deconstructed doctor and that can go badly wrong for beginners. now you can either go for sweet (add a dash of hope for the future and uh... where has that self-love got to, I know I had it??) or savoury (carefully balance the rage at injustice and unfairness with hopelessly forging ahead despite the odds).
