Well this certainly wasn't what you thought would happen after stepping into a random diner you found. law x reader but she has the calm calm fruit. she had ate it one day just because . she didn’t know what it was and found out the powers on her own. so she doesn’t know what it’s called, just that she can’t swim and that she can make silent force fields around herself, objects, or others. she snaps her fingers and says calm and silent. 

she joins the crew around when there’s about 10 members already. she proves to be good in martial arts, always free to train and learn new ways to hurt their opponents. although her trade is in stealth due to her devil fruit. she learned to be sneaky and quiet. but she smiles careless and jokes happily. she’s not that clumsy so it doesnt remind law of corazon. Shes so normal and smiles all the time. 

he only finds out when they’re all lounging around, drinking after a run in with the marines. the atmosphere is relaxed and he lets himself be a little looser. letting his small admiration for his crew creep into his heart. before shachi leans over to her. and asks what her devil fruit is cuz she hasn’t used it yet. she merely shrugs, the alcohol clouding her eyes as she smile at him. 

“it’s kinda lame but i think i can use it if captain ever needed it.” 

already so willing to give herself up to him, it makes him feel… a bit good about himself. something that solidified the people he’s with and the devotion they have. penguin and shachi push her to show them what her devil fruit does, shoving her and roughhousing with the maturity of teenagers. she laughs as i she elbows them back and stays seated in her side with ikkaku. She makes a dramnatc show of waving her hands and wiggling her fingers to make her comrades laugh. And laugh they do, drunkenly giggling. She grins in triumph as she turns her head to penguin, whos giggling loudly.

“And now, you all will see with my next trick, i shall mke this man silent!”

And with a snap of her fingers and a exclaim of “silent!: to the air, penguin’s voice zapped to nothing. The shocked faces of the crew before they clapped for her and she released the bibble she had made around penguin as he awed at her devil fruit. The alcohol serving to make their amusement vast. But from behind his friends, trafalgar law stared with widneed eyes at the woman. He sees her smiling face as she settles back into talks about her devil fruit. 

“Hey Law, I love y-” 

He suddenly feels sick to his stomach. The alcohol settled nicely before but he feels sick now again. Gagging bacm emotions that threatened to bubble up from his throat and spill from his ehes. Suddenly that little boy from all of those years ago. Even though he wasn’t that c,ose to the women before, shachi and penguin shielding him from across the table, he suddenly needed to be farther. Farther and farther. Away from this woman who made him feel so vulnerable and he doesnt know why. 

He immediatrlyu teleports himself to his room, somewhere hidden away from these people that he has accidentally let too close to his heart. Even though they were hundreds of feet away, they took a step too close, an inch too close. One more step and law would burst. Bepo meets himin his room, closing the door as he sits on law’s bed. wordlessly , wrapping law in his fizzy arms cled with their suit. And law closes his eyes and trieste to ground himself in the mink’s touch. 

The next day, he decides to confront the woman, lounging in the training room as she practiced. Sweat beading down her head as she breathed slowly, cracking an eye open as she saw her captain standing in the doorway. 

“Ah captain!” 

She proceeded to scramble to her feet as she looked at her captain. They havent really shared a proper conversation yet. Shes flustered as she averts eyes from her captain, not really registering him as a real person. More so someone that she has to please so she can keep being on his crew. He looks at her with a frown as he opens his mouth to say something. Before closing it again, averting his eyes skughtly. 

What should he say? 

I want to kill you so my saviour’s devil fruit can be safe in my grasp again? 

I hate you for eating his devil fruit even if you didnt know it? 

I hope you leave my crew and never show your face in front of me again> 

He doesnt know how to bring up his feeling about his saviour in front of someone who barely knows him. If it was the brother of cora-san that he hated oh so deeply, maybe he could muster out some words. Maybe he could reach forward and strangle her until she could not breathe anymore. But this is not doflamingo. 

THis is one of his crew. Someone who pledged her life to serve next to him. So he bites back the words that want  otumble out of his mouth so desperately, rough words that he want to scar her. 

“How do hou fight?” 

He mumbles, searching for something to fall back on. It makes sense, theyre in the training room next to the gym inside of their submarine. He feels a bit proud at his lying as she blinks up at him, surprised as she rubs the back of her neck. 

“Ah… wanna spar captain?” 

She asks quietly as she gives a slight grin at him. She says it;s easier to just spar with people instead of explaining, more fun that way. And so, he does. But not before she wiggles her finger and tells him no devil fruits. He feels a little smirk grace his lips, obviously shes not expecting him to be any good. He agrees and puts down his sword, stretching his body. She drops the shoulders of her boiler suit, tying it around her waist. 

And so, they spar. She starts off the spar, dancing around him. Grinning and taunting him, he could almost call it playful. He keeps his eyes trained on her form, before she rushes him with quick jabs. He tenses and blocks her jabs, trying to close the dictnce with a kick. Before she dodges and twirls around him, shes elusive he realizes. Like a butterfly that flaps its wings around its victim, playful and innocent looking. 

The fight goes on for a while before she sighs and just gives up, whining aout how she doesnt wanna fight her captain anymore. Theyre too evenly matched as he wipes the sweat from his brow. Breathing softly as he stares down at her form lying on the ground. He rolls his eyes with a pang of annoyance. It was her idea to begin with. He looks at the time and realizes its been an hour since they started sparring. 

“I think i won, captain”

He hears form the floor as his breathing evens out. Looking down from the spot hes standing, he meets her eyes. 

“You certainly dide not, you gave up from exhaustion.” 

He mutters matter of fact before she sighs, and stands back up. 

“Well thanks fir the spar capt!”

I think it would be interesting if they interacted

as long as doki doesn't see 2017x do anything violent around him they'll be okay.

They'll scold him and talk down to 2017x if he catches him I think.

But they'l1 mostly play along and be like "sonic would NEVER hurt people like that! You should know better than this!"

Kinda funny bc when doki gets mad he does rarely use physical force.

I just also realized doki would be the "I can fix you" but it turns into "I have to fix him, or else everything will fall apart".

Some more ideas / hc about DOKIx2 and 2017x below line

How did they meet idea:

Came up with the idea that Doki encountered 2017x because he visited his game. Idk how it happened, but it does.

Maybe there a copy of 2017x in the PC or something IDK. Doki sees that the buildings and entire city is in fire, same for the turned over cars. He tries his hardest to keep his composure as he asks how this happened and why.

2017x is trying to be like "hey buddy it's me sonic ummm don't mind the mess and doki plays along and tries to calmly kinda interrogate him.

He also tries to conyince the other that this won't do and all he will do is cause destruction, and this destruction will lead to nothing. Like, "If you get rid of everything, You will get rid of everything to do, And you will get rid of all of these possibilities of making new friends."

2017x is like. "the fuck do you mean"and he is starting to get a lil annoyed, but then Doki offers him a game of tag, or at least tries to make it sound interesting.

If Doki can be caught in under 30 seconds or less, And also without destroying buildings or anything along the way, 2017x wins and Doki will have to help him with destroying the place some more and other stuff.

If Doki wins, then he will help 2017x figure out ways to calm himself down and maybe drag him into his own game.

During the chase 2017x tries his best to not break anything but around ten seconds left he accidentally knocks down a door to get inside of a building to grab Doki, and Doki wins.

2017x starts to be like "that's not fair what!!! But I got you as soon as There was a second left" and Doki is like "ermmm but you booked down a door buddy :(" So 2017x is like really distraught and actually trying his best to understand that he lost, and he gets a little mad bc "sonic never loses", but before he has his little fit, Doki praises him that he only broke down one door and he followed the rules. And maybe 2017x gets some prife out of it, and he's like "y'know what yeah maybe. I am capable of trying my best to not lose my temper". They become friends meanwhile Doki learns more about 2017x, he can't fully help 2017x, but he can figure out what's going on in that head of his and figure out why he wants to desperately think that he is Sonic himself.

another year being the only one alone still struggling with this culture shock in this fuckass school. at this point he had set an alarm every 11:11 and prayed before bed for someone like him to show up the next school day. typing on his phone with a clear frown on his face, he just continued ranting and ranting to the closest online friend he had, chunhua. they befriended each other VERY quickly after she constantly agreed with his movie criticism, opinions against him would never be tolerated! reading the message she sent after the 10 sentence long paragraphs the smile disappeared instantly as he screamed a loud "FUCK YEAH" and ran as fast he could to the school office, choosing to ignore the judging stares because again, OPINIONS AGAINST HIM WOULD NEVER BE TOLERATED!!!

groaning internally, she fought the urge to roll her eyes as the principal continued to ridicule her for her grades. sure she wasn't the best student but she wasn't failing at least! standing in the front of the classroom felt like fucking hell. a duo giggling their asses off in the back of the room didn't help either because were they laughing at YOU or at EACH OTHER. anxiety was taking a TOLL on you and it was absolutely terrifying, you thought your knee was going to start buckling noticeably. hands were clammy and shaky, jesus take the damn wheel. introduce yourself MY ASS, this shit was not necessary in [where ever the fuck you are] and you wish it wasn't here too. the differences were so overwhelming you almost slid yourself off your seat so you could hide under your desk. AND YOUR DESKMATE WAS ALSO A BITCH TOO LIKE... why did your entire class start oooing and screaming. all you knew was this guy was named lee suho or something and that you hated him because all you did was ask for the page on where the class was and he ignored your ass. when the end of the class came you still held in your breath, NO BREATHING NO BREAKS!!! god was clearly not on your side because the duo that was snorting and gasping for air came up to you and you almost collapsed from a heart attack. god they were fucking gorgeous too, pretty people are too terrifying. when the guy spoke up you almost had a seizure because damn he got a real nice voice, "you're not from korea right?" nothing was coming out your mouth and you knew that. sparing yourself that embarrassment, a simple nod was all it took for them to have silent joy, giant grins and clapping enthusiastically with both hands. the english response you received from the girl let you finally start breathing (thank the lord because damn you were probably gonna look like violet from charlie and the chocolate factory), "welcome to the school new int!"

awkward was all that could be described for how jake was acting. his words were stiff as he introduced himself and he looked like a barbie doll being twisted to be sitting in a chair. when break came around all he could do was sit up straight staring into space. his zoning out was very rudely disrupted by a girl who pushed someone into his desk, waving them along with another guy. even if it seemed more like they were getting bullied, all he could do was start praying they wouldn't bully HIM. the awkward land on his desk made them just try and act cool ... failing to be honest ... putting a hand on their cheek and other hand on hip, "so um ... how are the spiders back home" silence just fell between the both of you as jake simply didn't know how to respond. as i said, awkward. clearly the random stranger had given up on the small talk because all it took was the "we're also abroad just let us adopt you" for him to relax his tensed up shoulders because, well, how bad could this get?

in all honesty, jen wasn't used to this fucking name change. all her life it was jennifer, jenni, jen, ferb even. now she had to get used to being called YUNJIN by everyone. god it felt like her parents were everywhere now, yunjin this yunjin that. every time someone spoke to her and they even said her name she had to hold in a groan. standing in front of the classroom, she wanted to sink into the ground so badly as she said her name and as someone shouted out "I USED YOUR YESSTYLE CODE!!!" like... NO YOU DIDN'T. who the fuck brings up the personal work to a first meet class introduction. when class was over one glance at a quartet with a random guy pointing at her was enough for her to put her head down into her arms and try to sleep through the 10 minutes she had. well the lord really said fuck your beauty sleep because the knock on her desk had her looking up, head still in arms up at a guy from the group of 4, the rest cheering him on as he stuttered through his (english) intro (which surprised jen... in a good way of course), "um like hi im uh jake- you know what fuck this. do you wanna be friends with us? we foreigners needa stick together anyways, no?"

CRYING IN THE (WINTER)CLUB

Before starting the ID I want to say there are some OC characters in this, and I’ve described their general appearance in this google doc for ref!

A red sleeveless dress and red gloves are drawn on her, wears hair in double buns with sparkling grey flower bands encircling buns, green eyeshadow. Another Carla laughs heartily, adding more snow.  A green buttoned dress with yellow ''fluff''  and striped brown cap with same fluff is drawn on her. The third Carla's face is away from viewer, she too is adding snow. A blue dress like Elsa's icy dress and a purple flower crown is drawn on her, though the cape is actually worn. The Snow Carla has one swirly eye dug in, a button eye with leaf lashes and branch eyebrow, carrot nose, red wax lips stuck on. From the camellia tree behind the red-clothed one, a pair of green cat eyes with thick brown brows stare.

Farther away on the other side Kamal is walking in, holding a half eaten pitha in hand while approaching. He holds a bag with a box saying ''To Kamal, with love''. In the artists interpretation his face is acne scarred. He wears a blue-black sweater, purple scarf, blue pants, brown winter shoes with white fluff at the top, one gold earring, frog shape chew necklace, hair is in a bun.

At the center Trevor is reaching up  with a stool and fiddling with a giant vibrating hot chocolate machine. He wears his usual coat with added blue jeans, red scarf with yellow and black stripes, leopard print heels, green goggles, mask for mouth, silver ear piercings. Hair is in a mullet and nails are sharp and black. The machine has a funnel streaming black smoke, and many bright devices on it. In the center of it is a radioactive symbol. On one side to its bottom is a part reading ''DEVIL MODE'' in allcaps with fire graphics, a big red button in a glass case is above it with a note that reads ''Never(underlined) touch'', stuck with a smiley face pin. There is a mounted fish figurine on one handle. The hot chocolate is fizzling over the brim.

Behind him a long table laiden with food is seen. There are swirl designs on the wood's sides. There are red and green apples, borscht, three colored drinks, yorsh, glintvein , 3 tier chocolate cake, shchi, cut open peaches, cut round bread, bowl with sweet bread cakes, three small buns, full breasted chicken in aluminium foil. Lily is looking over the table edge, grinning with the aim of stealing the cake.

There are plants around, a winter garden. In some places a green color overtakes the snow with grass growing. All over the yellow fence, to the left side, are huge clumps of winter jasmine.

To the horizon trees in blue-green shades with snow coverings are seen, closer and then farther and farther away. In that distance the silhouettes of Jimothan smiling and waving to Trencil, while dragging Parsley through the snow behind him are seen. Trencil stands and smiles, a little of his towering purple castle with red highlights, many turrets, visible.

EDIT: Shortened the rlly long ID, but if someone wants to know the plants i drew under ‘winter garden’;  The flowers and plants visible at front are virginia rose, red chokeberry, snowdrops, a single frost covered rose, piers japonica in pots. To the middle inkberry, more snowdrops, colored hellebores patch,  glory of snow, black hellebores patch, pansies, cyclamens, yellow aconite, some more snowdrops. A little farther are two winterberry plants, a camellia tree, witch hazel, english primroses, staghorn sumac.

LAURIE......very well-rounded character i liked his arc and i think he seems very real and grounded with like. good flaws and good positive traits and like. overall just really well written. I love him so so so much i want to kiss his forehead and give him a cat. i think hes just idk .... i like him SO much and i think hes an absolute darling. i would have more thoughts but im half asleep

ANDREW! i think this ones interesting because apparently the "fandom" if u can call the three ppl that seem to exist in the tag that seem very split on if they would like him to be lauries bf or not.....i personally adore him he deserves to go apple picking but he seems very sheltered and like. idk. someone who u love with ur whole heart but u know it won't work out unless something changes or you'd met at a different time etc. This is he and laurie in my brain ↓

In Love ..... i think its more suitable than trying to change core aspects of andrews character within the book canon itself and instead gives him more time to grow and be his own person and understand a lot more

I dont actually recall how old mervyn is but i want to say heslike. 12....idk. Ralph and laurie become honorary uncle figures in his life :-)!!!! i think their friendship is so so so sweet. ralph teaches him interesting things like navigation and boats and tells stories and laurie is good for talking about feelings and interesting books and they all adopt a puppy .

I actually really love my room, and having it cold, the fan running. I put up some string lights so at night it looks nice and twinkly ✨

OOO okay so BTS wise I have a couple hype songs: IDOL, ON, Baepsae, Fire 

And then when I’m feeling sad/nostalgic I like Arijit Singh’s softer songs (a lot of yearning), and Louder than Bombs and like for heart wrenching I listen to Fake Love and Black Swan. I really like that feeling though (the feeling of sadness) so I listen to those quite a lot.

3. You have $100 and you have to spend it on yourself. How are you spending it?

Ermmmm, I’d buy BTS merch and maybe some nice clothes? Idk 😂
