I have this little headcanon about Harriet gradually saying CJ's full name depending on how mad she is.

"CJ!" =Not mad, chill, everything's okay. If anything Harriet's a little annoyed

"Calista." = Midly angered, a good session of scolding is near,and maybe a little smack to the head

"Calista Jane Hook." = Total anger. Cj totally fucked up and she better hide ASAP. She's probably hiding behind Harry as we speak.

While editing Toby, I’ve decided that he is literally a deer with chronic wasting disease and NOBODY can change my mind.

infected deer waste away, doomed by an illness with no cure leaving them subject to manipulation and loss of control. The disease leads to inevitable death, which is inescapable, painful and slow.

Toby becomes consumed by violence in his life, leaving him to lose control and eventually become victim to manipulation he cannot avoid, leading to his destruction. The path he follows is..inescapable, painful and slow.

He becomes the deer, hollowed out by a disease. A zombie, living for nothing, only serving as a source of energy that benefits an external source.

Say what you will about WoF, but I think it's worth something to have a series that features characters who are openly queer. We've got sapphic and gay couples. We've got non-binary characters. It's nice to have representation that feels so casual, like Blue and Luna having two moms. It's just nice all around I think

had a great conversation today about danganronpa ultimates and the idea that so many of those ultimate talents come with a massive time limit, but this ESPECIALLY applies to sayaka maizono. her entire life is dedicated to being a pop idol to the point she considers her band her family and will go to extreme lengths for them. being a pop idol has quite literally defined her persona and personality for years as a means to survive in that industry. but as a pop idol she only has years left of relevancy because as much as she might fight against it she will eventually grow up and out of the typical age range for idols. best case scenario she becomes a mildly relevant independent singer who still struggles against the pressure of the industry but with far less reward, worst case scenario she is removed from the public eye entirely. and THEN what? hopes peak academy as a replacement for a typical high school experience can be quite terrifying at times just because it focuses in on ONE talent. YOUR talent. but what if your talent comes with an expiration date? what do you do then?? it's not as if you've been prepared for any other career path. you're stuck there

anyways, i just think the idea of a time limit on ultimate talents is both fascinating and pretty devastating. it really emphasises sayakas personal fears as well, considering how little time she has in the spotlight and her desperation to maintain her idol personality, but it also provides a pretty awesome look into a few other ultimate talents as well. athletes (swimmer, gymnast, baseball star, dancer etc) have got time limits ESPECIALLY if they injure themselves, ultimate fashionistas will eventually age. just interesting to think on

Having thoughts:

So, Copia becomes Frater Imperator and wants to revive his brothers, since Sister can't say shit. He does so, and they return as ghouls. Primo's element is earth, Secondo's is fire, and Terzo is quint.

Copia doesn't treat them as lesser beings he still sees them as his brothers, just bigger and scarier.

So, a ghoul's way of having fun is to play fight. And I don't mean light hearted wrestling, shoving matches. I mean full on, beating the shit out of each other, throwing each other into walls and furniture. Ghouls have an insanely high pain tolerance to the point, where biting feels more ticklish than painful. Holy objects/water and stabbing are more hurtful and harmful than a mere punch to the face.

One day, Copia's making his rounds, making sure everything is okie dokie, nobody needs help with stuff, duties are being done etc. He's walking down a hall when he hears a pretty loud thud against a wall in a room. Curious, he pokes his head in the door:

Secondo and Terzo are in the midst of a fighting match. Copia watches as Secondo gets thrown against a wall again, and headbutts Terzo.

"You hit like a kid, fratello!"

"... Three seconds to take that back."

Copia knows this is perfectly normal ghoul behavior, he's seen it thousands of times. He's not even concerned when they start laughing manically as they're exchanging blows. He just wishes they'd take it outside, because this will now be the third hole that's gonna have to be fixed, and he's still learning to assert his authority. Maybe Primo can give him some advice...

guys im starting to think my physics teacher is an avatar of the web

he spent like half an hour today in class ranting about how nobody on earth has free will exept for him because he invented a device which frees him from the shackles of the universes design and gives him the power to create alternate universes and then casualy mentioned that the device is probably slowly killing him. Also he didnt seem to pick up on the irony that the device that supposedly freed him from the universes control was, according to him, decided by the universe and therefore he was simply trading one puppeteer for another.

Its wild how Apprentice/Warrior relationships are just... ok. Like the way Fireheart/star's only concern about Dustpelt asking to mentor Fernpaw is "haha well we all know you'd go way too easy on her because of your feelings lol." and not "That would be a really scary power dynamic my guy! Considering you have feelings for this actual teenager and have ever since she became an apprentice.

But it also opens up for a lot of toxic ship dynamics which I do in fact like to explore.

It's just wild that it's canonically okay and no-one has a problem with it in a book series made for kids.
