One of my favorite things about voxval is how open they are to each other. They are a freak4freak relationship and they know it, so they don’t usually feel the need to hide things. Whatever’s on their mind, a niche kink they want to try out, some minor thing that pissed them off—they’re free to yap without worrying it will make the other person think worse of them, because they already know what they signed up for. The one thing they are quieter about is how much they love each other, and to me that is just so delicious, so juicy. Is it because of pride? Not wanting to have a weakness in such a dog-eat-dog world? Denial? Fear of looking foolish if it all was just a game/fling to the other person? Answers may vary depending on the flavor of voxval but they all have so much potential! The tv x moth ship has taken over my brain.

You know what's (extra) funny about this scene? It was totally unnecessary for Porsche to use Kinn's phone here -

Because we see later that he had an actual camera on him:

Okay, I can hear you asking - where was he keeping that thing? And that's a fair question that we'll never get the answer to...

(or maybe he bought it at the café giftshop after they ate)

But regardless - Kinn also had a whole new phone that he was planning to give Porsche:

So, Kinn totally could have taken the opportunity at the café to give Porsche his present - let him take as many pictures as he wants, and let him know at the start of the date that he trusts Porsche to have a phone outside of missions, because he's more than just a bodyguard

But then - Porsche wouldn't have been able to leave his mark on Kinn's phone. To make sure Kinn always has something to remember Porsche by, in case he just so happens to miss him too

#biting my tongue about things like dramatic structure and the role of the clown in shakespeare and the bucktommy daddy kink joke #it doesn't tonally wreck the episode to have a brief moment of comedy in an otherwise nonstop suckerpunch ep #we have a few moments of levity and then we have one moment of comedy and that's all structurally sound #like we see levity with the mara-at-the-hans reveal and we see it in the grant-nash photo reunion #we have moments of joy throughout the ep #and the bucktommy scene is both setting up the gerrard reveal and thus is structurally integral for the ep #and also provides a moment of not just levity but COMEDY #(and also it's hot as fuck)#but seriously for as long as we have had tragedy we have had moments of comedy to allow the breath #it allows the tragedy to strike it gives ROOM for catharsis and for horror #because it cuts through the onslaught of suffering #and yeah it's a tv episode not a three hour epic play #but still #to imply it tonally detroyed the episode i think is like. just not accurate?#and you're totally allowed to just. not vibe with tommy or bucktommy or daddy kink or whatever #but to see people try and argue that it's bad writing #when it's fitting into the style of writing that defines the western canon?#anyway. this is the last i'm gonna say because i refuse to house negativity on mine own blog so i'm gonna take my honours degree in #Analyzing Storytelling and go

whatever. love the writing of the DHMIS show because EVERY single character in it switches violently between the roles of either straightman or bugs bunny with no in between.

#like they are either the most rational people in the room or they are absolutely on the floor off their rocker #like. okay. example. when lily and todney show up they do things like point out that the photos duck has are Not of him.#but the longer the trio hangs around them the more bugs bunnified those two become #i would say warren was pretty straight manny until he goes into yellows head then he becomes so antagonistic that its goofy #duck in some eps is very straightmanny but next to coffin is the most bugs bunny daffy duck looney motherfucker #red is the one whos smart enough to figure out that theyre trapped in the house and all he says about the ominously X'd out photos is that #theyre framed #HE ALSO? normally for otsukimi kozue watches the moon with a telescope. maybe she'll invite kaho and ginko-san this year! ginko-san is interested in traditional events, so she thinks she'll be interested in otsukimi. but kaho... gets sleepy easily at night... maybe she'll stay awake if they make dango... since its kaho surely rabbit shaped odango would be best... but knowing kaho, she'll think they're too cute to be eaten...!

#kozue thinks mugwort dango would suit ginko #kozue explained to kaho where the summer triangle is for her tanabata stream while they were on the way back from practice #the summer triangle looks good in september too floating on the milky way. over time the position of the triangle #changes making it look like three stars supporting each other and moving down the river of the milky way #kaho also asked who in the hasu triangle is who in the summer triangle. she couldnt answer at the time but thinking about it again #shes deneb since it means tail and she isnt as glamorous as the other two so perhaps her role is to guide from behind #vega is an almost blue white and altair is red so vega is megumi and altair is tsuzuri #though of course its presumptuous to compare themselves to the stars so she wants to work hard so they shine just as brightly #kozue recommends looking at saturn as its an opportune moment for it right now. thats what she'll be doing after this #hime's trying to find new hobbies so she'd be happy if she came to look through her telescope with her ???#kozue's telescope is the type that you can take photos through it with kikai-san but she hasnt tried it in case her telescope explodes ???#gemitus #Oh i remember how hime's been in a slump lately yeah i see thats ep 6 foreshadowing right #after was about traits she associates with the star signs. sagittariuses (megumi) are freespirited virgos (ruri) are considerate #libras (hime ginko) are refined and balanced. scorpios (tsuzuri) are mysterious. capricorns (sayaka) are serious. pisces (kosuzu) are kind #geminis (kaho and herself) (her voice gets so soft) are together forever 💚🧡#(also same sign ginhime is getting to me...)
