Endouma is a terrible ship, and here is why.

‼️WARNING‼️: Post not only contains semi spoilers for KNY, but it also contains mentions of things like suicide, depression and noncon/sexual assault. If you are uncomfortable with those topics, please refrain from reading.

TLDR: Enmu and Douma are not compatible with each other because that ship is mostly built up on fetished MLM tropes, overly sexualized versions of the characters and the romanticization of SA.

(God, I feel like I have been posting nothing but hot takes on this account as of late. I promise I will go back to posting art, cosplays, and more just chill stuff after this.)

Enmu and Douma are not characters that should not be shipped together, for multiple reasons. Starting off, THEY ARE NOTHING ALIKE!!!! I don’t know where or how it was decided that they were alike, or that Enmu is “Douma 2.0”, but it makes no sense. While both are meant to be irredeemable monsters, Enmu was an irredeemable monster from the get go. From what we know about his backstory, he knew he was scamming people and targeting the weak and vulnerable for it. Douma’s backstory goes a bit more in depth and explains that he was put into the role of “all mighty god” as a child, which lead to the power of it going to his head as he grew up. Douma was still an impressionable child who was failed by the adults around him, and as he grew up he took on some of those same traits as the adults he was surrounded by. The bottom line is this: Douma, while a shitty person, still has some way to sympathize with him, Enmu does not, and thats just on the story side of things.

Enmu and Douma also share nothing in common personality wise. On face value, they may kinda act similar (i.e how they talk (sorta)) but it really just stops there. Enmu ultimately had a goal to kill Tanjiro and gain more blood from Muzan so he could climb the ranks of the demon hierarchy. He wanted to gain more power and to overthrow one of the upper moons for the sake of power. He doesn’t care how many people he has to torment, hurt or kill, as long as he has spot in power, he is happy, hell, he literally has vulnerable and even sick children do his dirty work! Enmu is a sick and twisted individual and he prides himself on that. Douma on the other hand put on the happy and up beat facade to hide that he knows he was failed. Douma is aware he was failed as a human, and so he decided to fail his followers by being the embodiment of false hope. He plays into the false icon lifestyle by pretending to be hopeful and happy around his followers and even the other demons to an extent. He doesn’t care so much about power, rather he cares more about control. Douma keeps up his false religion persona to keep control over his followers. He knows he’s failing them, but he doesn’t want to lose the control he has over them.

Now onto the elephant in the room: the mischaracterization I’ve seen of both of them in the Endouma ship. In both fanart and fanfics I’ve seen and read (well more so forced down my throat since thats all I’ve seen with Enmu in recent times) both Enmu and Douma are mischaracterized to high hell just so we as the reader/viewer will feel pity for them. I’ve seen more of this with Enmu, in that all the stuff that made him unique from the other KNY demons is stripped away so his “savior boyfriend” Douma can comfort him and coddle him. Now, writing an AU is one thing, but if you’re just going to make content of the ship with the characters as they are in the series, then their actual personalities should be honored or at the very least acknowledged.

Going more in depth about the mischaracterizing I’ve been seeing with Enmu, almost all (ALMOST all, not all in general) Endouma content I’ve seen have made him either a depressed and anxious baby that Douma is meant to coddle, or an overly fetishized hyper feminine man thats there simply for sexual reasons. It just goes against their roles in the story of KNY.

Going off of the hyper feminine man mischaracterization of Enmu I’ve seen in regards to the Endouma ship, having him be pretty much a “femboy” not only contradicts him as a character, but it also is pushing toxic heteronormativity on a queer relationship. Making Enmu essentially the “woman”, while putting toxic heteronormativity in a very much MLM ship, it also just boils him down to a sex object and nothing else. Now, I will not say that portraying Enmu as a very sexual and even gross character is wrong, because there were plenty of scenes in KNY of him that had very sexual and perverted undertones, but that is what they were, undertones. There is more to his character than just the sexual undertones he has (as I stated earlier when describing him), and by boiling him down to a “sex doll” for Douma just kind of shows that there wasn’t much of an understanding of his character while making the ship art or a fic. He is much more than a sex object.

Moving onto the mischaracterization I’ve seen of Douma, while not nearly as bad as Enmu, it still feels very off from his character. Making Douma someone who GENUINELY cares for another person is also very contradictory to how he acts in the series. He is someone who cares very little for anyone he comes to meet, whether it be his followers or other demons. Now you may be asking “but, Ink! Douma saw Daki and Gyutaro when they were on the verge of death and decided to save them!” Which is exactly what I am talking about. The only reason he “saved” them was to keep up his facade of a savior and to get himself “brownie points” (for lac of a better term) so his public appearance would look good. Because he cared very little for Daki and Gyutaro, it shows that he only cares about looking like a good person and nothing else. Portraying him as essentially “Enmu’s therapist” that coddles him and such just feels weird. Douma has no emotional connections to anyone, so why would he have an enmotional connection to a demon that is considered lower than him?

Now similar to what I said about Enmu earlier, Douma is also much more than a sex obsessed pervert. Douma being portrayed as basically a male nymphomaniac in the Endouma ship is a very strange way to portray his character. Yes, he may have been fine with letting women seek refuge in his temple, but again, it was to make him seem and look like a good person. We should all know, or at least have the understanding that Douma is literally a woman eater. The women he houses in his temple ultimately have the fate of being nothing more than food. Viewing his reason for taking in women as something sexually driven is a complete misunderstanding of his actions. This misunderstanding of Douma paired with the sexual misunderstanding of Enmu not only creates a toxic relationship, but it also fetishizes and sexualizes MLM pairings. This is something I’ve noticed more in Endouma art, but a lot of it that I have seen feels very fetish-y. I can’t go too in-depth about this aspect, as I am a queer woman, but the way the ship is portrayed in a lot of the art I have seen of it feels as though it is pandering to the appeal of yaoi obsessed straight girls. While yaoi has been a term used for decades to refer to MLM based pairings in media like anime and manga, over the past couple of years, its meaning has become more based around fetishizing MLM pairings rather than just being about MLM pairings.

I now want to bring up something that I’ve seen associated with Endouma (and also the Enmuzan ship, but that is a topic for another time) that really makes me uncomfortable, and that is noncon and the romanization sexual assault. I don’t want to talk too much about this topic, as it is not only triggering for me, but it should also be common sense that fetishizing sexual assault is wrong. Again, this is more so something I have seen in artwork, but it seems almost normalized for Douma to be portrayed forcing himself onto Enmu. Now, I know you are all probably saying “Ink, if you don’t like it/are triggered by it, then don’t interact with it”, but when its all that has been made in regards to newer Enmu content as of late, and how people are hyping it up, its kind of hard to avoid. It makes me truly question just how many people really missed the point of their characters, and only focused on things like Enmu being more androgynous, and Douma being tall and muscular. In a general sense, if a ship is built on, or is popular from fetishized and romanticized sexual assault, it shouldn’t be a ship.

Finally, I just want to mention that these characters have NEVER once interacted in canon. I know that hasn’t stopped people from shipping characters before, but it’s just something I want bring up. (As well as the fact that the Upper Moon’s hate the Lower Moons)

I want to end off this post by saying that all of this is by no means targeted at a specific person, nor am I trying to say that my opinion is correct. I am just stating my own opinions and just stating observations I have made after being in the KNY/Enmu fanbase for nearly 4 years now. People are allowed to ship characters together (within reason) however they like, but just be aware of how it will look on your own part, and what views it may look like you have.

Bouquets/Flowers They'd Give You

Nothing much. Just some headcannons about what kind of bouquets the demons would gift you. Maybe modern au maybe not idk. None of the images are mine I just found them on Google and Pinterest. Daki n Rui are platonic gift givers. No romance from those two.

Kokushibo is a traditional man and as such would stick with the classic but beautiful full rose bouquet sometimes with baby breath to make it asthetically pleasing.

Is it really a surprise this guy would get you something that reminds the both of you of him? They're very pretty though so it's all good.

You want a teddy bear, flowers, balloons for your special date? This man gets you all in one package and makes sure to make it pleasing to look at. Everything for his darling.

If it's regular Kny he'd just scoop up whatever wild flowers are growing around him and present them to you but since we're going with modern here, he doesn't have a lot of money to throw away on flowers that'll just die so he takes his time to really make you something permanent you both can cherish forever by doing origami. The many paper cuts are worth it seeing you smile.

In a similar way to Gyutaro, Daki would want to gift something permanent you both could enjoy forever however she'd be more splurge-y than her brother and gift you a flower clip or hairpin.

Kaigaku barely gets you flowers in the first place but if you mention wanting to be gifted flowers long enough or if it's a special enough occasion he wants to celebrate, he'll get you something. But not a full bouquet, he'll just get you a simple rose or flower.

Nakime really doesn't get you flowers too often either, but on the rare occasion she does it's either a single rose like Kaigaku or flowers matching her own aesthetic.

So I just found out that seashell bouquets are actually a thing, and they have to be glued together and stuff. Seems like a good enough fit for the fish man.

Look he can be a sappy romantic if he wants to be. A big bouquet of roses and chocolate strawberries are the object of his choice if he's going to go all out.

he often worries about what to get you. He doesnt want to look too guady with a fancy oversized bouquet but he's also worried about a single flower not being enough so he gets you something in the middle all tied up in ribbon and lace. Please tell him you love it, he's very nervous.

This guy has money to burn. He practically shoves one of those really beautiful but really expensive bouquets with the big flowers covered in gems in your arms and calls it a day. It's expensive and maybe tacky but he doesn't see it that way.

like any sweet child, he just plucks whatever flowers he finds growing on the ground and gifts it to anyone he likes.

• Would be horribly alarmed

• wouldn't know what to do because of his loyalty to Muzan but also his loyalty to you as your boyfriend

• he'd be stunned knowing you could walk in the sun amd understand muzans interest in you but after a while of thought he'd hide you somewhere safe

• well he thought was safe

• He'd have to repeatedly find different places for you to hide as Muzan kept finding you so you'd be in a different place every day.

• he'd be suffering aswell at Muzans wrath but also his own inner conflict about where his loyalty actually lies

• Muzan would use threat after threat after threat and even physical things to get Kokushibo to tell him where you were but he wouldn't no matter what

• because his loyaltys lay with you.

Douma

Would make the people of his cult help hide you

He'd straight go to hide you because you are the only person who has shown him proper affection and he doesn't want that to go away

He would admire you and beg you to tell him how you managed to walk in the sun but would remind himself there were bigger matters to handle

No matter the torture he underwent by muzan and the others in the 12 kizuki he wasn't letting go of you

Would always make sure nobody was following him on his way to see you

After finding out that Muzan wants to eat you he would try and be his normal self whilst mentally shitting himself thst someone would find you

He would always have someone to protect you whether it was him or one of his followers

He'd give false locations of where he had 'seen' you last but always in the day knowing that Muzan can't go in daylight just like thr rest of them

He isn't giving up on you anytime soon

Akaza

He would refuse to harm you or let anyone else harm you so his first instinct was to go into hiding and not inform anyone at any point of where you two were

Avoiding Muzan like the plague

He'd be wary about going out and only going when you two got really hungry to get a human

He already lost Koyuki, he refuses to lose you to especially to Lord Muzan

You guys would go from one hiding spot to another every week to make sure there was no risk of him or any of the others finding you

Would absolutely fight anyone who tried to get to you at any point

Enmu

She would half hide you half leave you alone whilst she made her decision

If she chose to hide you, she would have to flee the Entertainment district and not tell anyone where she was going

If she chose to turn you in she would probably have that on her conscience for the rest of her days until eventually slain

Gyutaro

First reaction would be to flat down refuse and not turn you in to Muzan

You were the first one apart from Daki who showed him the love he actually deserved, who made him feel worth it when he didn't himself.

Would probably force Daki to hide you for him against her wishes as she is loyal to Muzan

After separated from her, he would constantly be at your side and in the day Daki would force one of the girls from her house to be with you instead

He would make you go into different spots regularly to throw any other demons off of your trail in fear of someone finding you

Would be constantly paranoid about everyone and everything around you

10/10 would make you trail after Daki if for his sanity more than yours

Having some of the most powerful demons at your beck and call- even the lowest ranks including the dream demon- all of them at your disposal as your personal cocksleaves

honestly, i imagine muzan saying something like; “they are no longer of use to me. do as you please with them.”

kokushibou and akaza are by far the most loyal and obedient. they acknowledge you as their master and ‘exist only to please you.’ <3

· koku has all six of his eyes on you while he sucks you off, because he loves seeing you feeling good. you make him feel like he has a purpose when you praise him.

· akaza is obviously inexperienced, but he's absolutely fine with you using his body to please yourself. he's always nearby, waiting for you to give him orders, and when you do, he completes them with haste.

douma and enmu are definitely masochists—more the latter than the former. they also make it their existence to please you, but sometimes they make mistakes on purpose so you'll punish them.

· douma is always ready to offer himself up if you need to take your anger out on something, always saying how much he loves ‘the way you use and abuse’ him.

· enmu has absolutely no chill. he's like akaza, always on standby, but sometimes he gets impatient and purposefully does something that might upset you. that way, you'll punish him and use him like he's nothing but a toy for you to break.

In which they fear turning you into a demon would result in you losing your memories of them.

Douma

He had turned into a demon when he was quite young, and fortunately for him nothing really changed about his attitude or his way of thinking; he only became stronger

But you were the opposite of him, brimming with emotions, feelings, human patterns and strange doings

You did and felt more than the average person, which balanced you both out when you we're together

Douma understood that it would mean trading death with what made you

He isn't sure what he would rather, for you to grow old and live out your life to the fullest as yourself, or to transform and remain by his side forever at a fraction of yourself

He, for once, feels a sense of dread and helplessness when the topic comes up, because he knows it won't go his way no matter how he wishes for it

Douma would let you pick what you wanted, so at least one of the two of you would be happy

He's glad that at the very least, he can hold onto the current for as long as he wants

He doesn't sleep when it's morning, and instead opts to be there for you in all your waking and sleeping hours just so time slows even for a bit

Enmu

Enmu is one of many who has little to no attachment to his past, and although he has none of these strings holding him back, he can't help but wonder who he might have been

When he sees you, rushing to hold onto him when he comes back from a mission or you back from work, he starts to think of all the things he would know that you may not

Would you remember your job you had worked so long to get? The garden you tended to tirelessly? Would you remember the midnight train rides, or when you clung to him to thightest you ever had when he just barely made it home after a long mission

And he was devout, but would you be? He didn't care much that his other lower moons had been killed, but when he thought of if you had been there, he wondered what it would have taken for you to survive

Anytime he thinks about it, he gets especially clingy and wants to do more with you, because it reminds him how little time he might have with you

He doesn't care much for looks, he wants you to stay with him until you grow old, and maybe then he will look into turning you

Gyokko

Becoming a demon was so easy for him, there was nothing for him as a human

He was much happier now, with endless time, delicious 'food', and all the strength he could ask for

All he does remember was pain and neglect, but seeing you now, you seem perfectly fine

You had worked especially hard to give yourself this life, and he did what he could to keep you comfortable and safe

You were creative, you were there for him in ways no one had been, and for that he owed you at the very least his love

Even when you had just met you matched his eccentric self, you'd dress in ways inspired by his looks and your compliment his pots; the only thing he cared about besides you

And becoming a demon, it would change that

He wants to think you'd have enough will to remain the same, but with his life's track record he expected to lose you entirely

Gyokko would do what he can to convince you to remain as you are; he understands humans cannot be eternal and wants the best for your life

He could never move on, and he rather you rest at peace than continue half alive

Gyutaro

He was fortunate enough to remember some of his background, being one of the younger demons, but most were negative and drove his distaste for the town which he was raised

Daki remembered much less than him, but as far as he recalled, she was more or less the same as she had always been

Being aware that you aren't your true self isn't very troubling for him, because he never knew otherwise and has always been what you consider your lover

But he met you when you were a human, meaning when turned, you'd likely lose that sweetness and grow to resent the world

Part of that made him wondered if you would resent him too, if he had upset you and it would blossom in your demon form

If you would still love him, or if all of those hidden emotions would take over so you could leave him

It also meant you'd be under Muzan's command

He didn't mind it much, but it meant one wrong move and you could perish, or you could be subjected to extremely difficult work and killed while he isn't there to protect you

For now, he wants to savour what he has

Muzan

He's had it happen before

It wasn't a lover of his, but an old friend whom he had known for a long time

And when he turned, his will was weak, and it resulted in him becoming nothing but his negative traits

And with memory goes personality

Some demons became feral killing machines with no purpose, others only follow Muzans every command

You listened to him for the most part, but the idea that you might force your love to be exactly as he wants it regardless of yourself hurts him

The transition doesn't necessarily erase your memories, but it creates a fog that can easily become overpowered by hate and hunger

He remembered you said you wanted to be turned while you were still young, while you were at your prime

But he found it hard, and he had to consider all the negatives

He would know your every thought, the transformation would be painful, and you could potentially lose your sense of self

Ultimately, he would do whatever it is you wish, but he would have a hard time opening his eyes after, still clinging to the hope you'd be there

Imagine Muzan with a Maid!Reader ft. The 12 kizuki

Imagine you're a demon who is only kept alive to be a Maid for the demon king, 12 kizuki, and the infinity castle.

Muzan was going to kill you after assuming you were useless. Then, he realised there just may be a job for you. A job that only exists to stroke his ego.

Imagine you in a Maid dress that gradually gets shorter and shorter from an ankle length skirt to a mini. You can constantly feel eyes on you at all times as you are ordered around by your master.

Muzan tells you to scrub the already clean floors as he tries to get a look at your frilly underwear that's just peeking through the bottom of your skirt.

You should really be grateful. He kept you alive, and all you have to do is do whatever he says whenever he says it at all times. And you know he is going to take any chance possible to punish you. Punishments would very in how painful and strict they are, but even the less strict punishments are dreadful. Can you imagine getting spanked by this man? Your peaches will be slapped off! You wouldn't be able to sit for weeks even with your regeneration. So be a good girl, and God help you behind.

Unlike Muzan, Doma isn't trying to hide his interest. He picks up the hem of your skirt to get a better look before letting out a giggle. As he is your superior, you know you can't and shouldn't do anything to fight back against it. Especially to Doma (you will die). You look good enough to eat. Akaza tries to hide his blush. He shouldn't be looking, and he knows this, but how can he help himself when you look like that. He is obviously the most respectful of them all. He knows what you have to go through and tries to treat you as nicely as possible. Even if he tries to avoid you most of the time.

At least Akaza keeps Doma as far away from you as possible.

There is always a bitter smell in the air at the upper moon meetings as you sense Daki and her beady ass eyes boaring into your soul out of envy. She hates the way you get so much attention even though you're lesser than her. I mean, she is stronger and prettier, so why are you getting all of Master Muzan's attention!

You're a little safer at the lower moon meetings because they can't get away with nearly the amount of stuff that the upper moons can. Enmu is constantly at your feet. Eventhough your so much less of a demon than him, it...practically dirt...he can't help but feel a little more than pity. He wants to show you how special you are and how you're just so perfect.

I can just tell he will be smelling you up every chance he gets. He loves the way you smell. He sniffs your neck as his hand slowly travels bellow your skirt pinching at the hem of your little frilly underwear. I can just tell Enmu is the type of demon to call you a good girl, naughty girl, or probably at some points go as far as calling you his "little slave."

Kamanue wants to look. He really does, but he's just so anxious. He's scared that if he looks somewhere, he is not welcome, and then Master Muzan will be upset. The last thing he wants it an angry demon king. But even still, he can't help but imagine you bent over his knee. He loves to feel strong and to take out his very deep and hidden anger on a weaker, subservient demoness who can't say otherwise is his dream. He wants to show you and Muzan how strong he really is.

Kokushibo can do what he wants. He doesn't have to hide what he is doing. Not in fear of Muzan and not for his own ego. He does what he wants when he wants, but what he wants is not always to peep at your cunny. But sometimes it is. Imagine he stops you at what you're doing and grabs your waist. Practically effortlessly, and just flips you around to take a look. He keeps a straight face while doing it, too. It's slmost scary. He just moves your underwear aside and just stares before putting you down and telling you to "get back to work, Maid." And like always, you're just left flustered.

GENERAL HC: demons usually have nests, not traditional like straw and fur nests but little tucked away areas they tend to guard.

Muzan and Kokushibo’s nests are in the infinity castle

Douma’s nest is very comfortable. Very demure. (He tears up pillows and goes apeshit. And then makes his cult members clean up and make a larger pillow for him. Because beds are for basic bitches)

Akaza probably has his nest in the infinity castle too, but he’s a bit more secretive, and prob has somewhere else

Gyutaro has his nest in the red district, (it’s filled with bones and all trinkets he likes.)

(Hantengu + clones bc I LOVE THEM) they probably have a nest in the infinity castle since he and his clones need separate areas to keep them from strangling each other… but JANEHWJ

Urogi has a more traditionally bird nest (he steals shit and makes it into his BED)

Sekido just has a bed. Shames everyone else for having a messy nest

Karaku’s nest is very soft. DO NOT BELIEVE HIM THERES SOME FREAKY SHIT IN TYERE- I know he told me :3

Aizetsu’s nest is a few rocks. He feels he doesn’t deserve a proper nest. (Get him some damn pillows. It’s causing back pain for everyone)

ENMU MY LOVE, his nest is inside the train station, idk the word but it’s where all the trains go when not in use, it’s very comfy! No sunlight, he probably uses train lights to illuminate for his human mate

TURNING HC’S (TW HUMAN EATING MENTION)

Muzan isn’t used to being gentle, and seeing his former human mate in such pain to become a demon like him. He has all his servants tend to them; Kokushibo at the door guarding, Douma out going to get nesting supplies for the newly formed demon liege, Akaza getting human meat for them. Fun stuff! 🤩 he throws a massive festival for his new demon spouse. (It’s an excuse to execute random demons)

Kokushibo has a smaller situation, he brings you a small personal feast, (well hidden human meat so you don’t feel guilty) and goes to some people to have them make human meals (just with human meat instead of beef) and personally brings you his nesting materials

Douma has everyone in the cult, and has a sacrifice for your “ascension” (cult bullshit to explain demons) and how you’d need to be quarantined for awhile (cuddles while you calm down from bloodlust) and you two eat the sacrifice

Akaza calms you by taking you out with him. Probably uses a muzzle so you stop biting him… he doesn’t try and keep you contained so much, just supervising so you don’t hurt yourself… or get caught-

Gyutaro has you and Daki in his nest, pampering you both and is hopeful his sister approves of his mate, power wise and demon appearance. (She’s just excited to have another demon to talk too dw)

Hantengu and his clones are waiting on you hand and FOOT, his clones’ mate shall have the same respect as Muzan, since Muzan chose you to be his demon mate.

Enmu puts you to sleep while this happens, easing the growing pains and hunger, you wake up basically the same just a demon bc of the dreams he gave you. 10/10 very nice.

This was so good!! I keep thinking about clawing and skinning Douma during the transformation while he just giggles and laughs loudly. Also, I love the nests- Gyutaro’s would probably stink of decay while Daki’s is the most prestige and comfortable. Only the most expensive fabrics and jewrely is allowed to come even near her nest.

I’m not the biggest fan of Hangengu’s clones, but Urogi stealing things for you and dropping it off at his nest, or trying to feed you foods he stole out of people’s hands like a seagull seems super funny to me XD

Also, I think Enmu tried more than once to nest inside a train but never could decide wich one to settle in since his favourite train model changes almost every week and it would be exhausting to change nests so many times, so probably decided to stay near or inside the busiest train station he could find. And yes, he will kick his feet in delight when watching a train pass by or stop to let passengers in.

Akaza probably is letting you chew and rip his forearms apart as much as you like during your transformation, he literally doesn’t care. Also, he’ll probably try to convince you to don’t eat women as well, but doesn’t mind if you eat them anyway. As long as you’re happy and fed.

I can see Muzan getting ashamed of nesting. He’s the demon kind and supposed to above such animalistic behaviours, but he can’t help to hoard the finest and highest grade pillows/blanket. He likes it comfortable and prestige. Muzan would probably spray some cologne over all of it as well to make sure it smells divine, just like him.

Muzan is probably being a little annoyed at how long your transformation is going. He’s gonna stand there, tapping his foot and checking his watch. He might even get worried and check you for any signs of a bad transformation.

Perhaps I should write more headcanons, those are fun!

You try to seduce your demon husband/wife as a means to get outside or distract him enough to get what you want.. However it does the exact opposite of what you aim for.

You were tired of this now

A you wanted was to go outside for a few hours enjoy the sun or the beautiful night sky full of stars for a little while. But every single time you asked it was always variations of the same answer.

"No. It's too dangerous during these times. You're much safer with me." or "What if a slayer finds out your husband/wife happens to be a demon?! You think they'd spare your life?! They'd kill you on the spot without hesitation!" or "Alright but I'm going with you. It's not up for debate."

This you were never truly able to get a moment to yoursel. Don't get you wrong. You loved your husband/wife to death and would do anything for them! You knew what you signed up for when marrying a demon and right now was a tense time for their kind. But you just wanted FIVE MINUTES ALONE WITHOUT HIM/HER HOVERING OVER YOUR SHOULDER OR CHECKING ON YOU EVERY FIVE MINUTES!!

Although maybe you'd have a solution-

"Try seducing him/her!"

You choked on the green tea and coughed a few times staring at your cousin like she was crazy. Currently you sat in your family home wanting to visit them. Of course your husband/wife insisted on coming too and thus dawned a human disguise to visit his/her in-laws. Right now he/she was having a pleasant conversation with your father discussing the more efficient ways to hunt between a bow and Arrow and a new invention called a gun. They seemed actually interested in the conversation so they didn't notice the talk you had with your cousin venting to her about your husband's/wife's overprotective nature. However you weren't planning on those words to come tumbling outta her mouth with a cheeky smirk.

"Excuse me?!"

"You heard me. How do you think I got a rich husband who spoils me?"

"My husband/wife isn't that shallow. A-And that'll never work!"

"Look. You tried everything from bargaining to fighting right? Why not give it a shot? Flattery will sometimes get you somewhere despite what they say."

...Well she did have a point. Nothing you had tried so far had worked, maybe a little bit of flirtation and flattery would work. And your cousin's right. There really wasn't anything to lose since at most he/she would just be amused or annoyed at your actions and spouses flirted with each other all the time. So next time your husband/wife left for 'work' you decided to kick it into over drive.

When your husband/wife returned later two days at night. The home was unusually quiet and dark but he/she detecting no one else around and senses that you were still moving around inside so they assumed you were probably in the middle of going to sleep. They just let themselves in as always sliding the door open but paused eyes widening. The house was completely spotless, not that it was dirty in the first place, but it seemed as if Even the ceiling was polished. A trail of red and pink petals leading away from the door and towards the kitchen where he/she already found a table of fresh raw steak waiting for them lit by candlights.

Needless to say his/her brow rose. Ok. You definitely wanted something because it wasn't your anniversary or any special occasion.

"Y/n, I'm home!", he/she called from the kitchen doorway.

They await hearing your footsteps but are surprised when you turn the corner and are dressed up to the nines. A beautiful patterned flowing Kimono and make up to match as you stand there nervously before attempting to look sultry at them..but it just makes you look nervous.

"O-Oh. I didn't hear y-you come in." They hear the stutter in your nervous look as you attempt to strut, tripping over the kimonos folds and falling on your front, only to quickly scramble back up onto your feet and place a hand on the wall next to him/her with a seductive(hilarious looking and nervous-) grin. "But I-Im glad y-y -you're back! Do you like the surprise? I w-worked solo ha-hard on it just for YOU."

Eyes slowly blink at your already sweating face looking you up and down. Slowly blinking and then your finally get their answer-

KOKUSHIBO:

Six eyes slowly blink one after another at you looking you up and down ... before he sighs briefly closing his eyes and shaking his head. Your smile disappears as he just continues shaking his head no at you.

"This ..will not work on me. You should know better than that..However."

You let out an adorable squeak as a finger and his thumb tilts your head up towards his leaning form.

"I can not complain about the gesture. Go change into something you won't trip over and we'll have dinner together."

DOUMA:

He waits until your smile disappears completely after you get nothing but one of his famous Big eyed stares from him. It's only then that he giggles and a second later you're snatched up into his arms with a squeal.

"Oh my. Is this for me?~ How generous of my little wife to surprise me with such a beautiful display. You wouldn't mind if I just jump straight to desert would you?~"

You gulp when he leans in to affectionately rub his forehead into yours with a growl sounding an awful lot like a purr.

You had a feeling this backfired-

AKAZA:

"...PFFT- HAHAHA!"

You're taken off guard when Akaza just doubles over in loud laughter ringing off the walls and filling the house. He can't help it. When you fell over your dress and then got back up to try and seduce him was the funniest thing he's ever seen! Your cute pout was also not very convincing to him.

"I-Im sorry! Hehehehe! It's just when you tried acting like an oiran-..HAHAHA! I swear I love this Bu-But you looked so cute trying to se-seduce me! *snort*"

"Well then you can clean up all the petals yourself and sleep in the basement!"

He wheezed as you cutely stomp away as he holds up a hand.

"N-No! Wait! You are adorable I promise!"

HANTENGU+CLONES:

You're surrounded by your husbands all giving you mixed reactions to your display..it was not what you expected. The first one to speak out was Urami who immediately pointed towards your bedroom.

"Go change into something decent, Woman! What are you thinking dressing up like that?!"

Sekido and Aizetsu are speechless. Staring at you wide eyed and red faced because you looked so pretty but Sekido eventually yanked you away from Karaku. Urogi just sat on the floor laughing loudly when you fell and Hantengu sneakily went into the kitchen to eat all the food before anyone noticed. Only Karaku really reacted by growling out and pulling you into a hug as Zohakutan mentally gags in disgust inside Sekido.

"Why waste such a once in a life time opportunity such as this?~ And after she went through all the trouble.~"

You proceeded to get yanked away by Sekido who lectured you with Urami on proper wear.

GYOKKO:

He doesn't respond to you at first only continuing to stare at you from his pot before his entire face scrunched up scrutinizing your outfit.

"What are you WEARING?!" He asked in such a way that made it like he stepped in goop.

"Um...A oiran's attire?"

"Well first of all that is definitely not your color! Secondly it's too large for you! An oiran's beautiful gown is supposed to flow behind them on the breeze of their footsteps. NOT MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE A TODDLER PLAYING DRESS UP WITH HER MOTHER'S ROBES!! And that hairstyle is totally wrong-...You know what? Cancel dinner! I'm going to teach you the proper art of dressing like the beautious women."

Turns out he's more offended by the fact that your wardrobe is a mess than you actually trying to reduce him and it got you a six hour half lecture half dress up session from the demon.

NAKIME:

Her eyebrow raises looking you up and down for a moment before glancing back at how much effort you put into everything before sighing.

"You could just ask me instead of going through all the trouble."

"You don't like it?"

"I do but just dinner would have been fine. Seeing you make a mess of our flower garden is just irritating."

Her hand motions to the flower petals on the floor and you feel embarrassed how she knew you practically destroyed your garden.

GYUTARO(+PLATONIC DAKI MENTIONED):

Gyutaro.exe has stopped working. His eyes go wide open, jaw slacked, and his entire face turns the deepest red. Meanwhile Daki is giving you a thumbs up from around the corner. Nothing like bribing your sister-in-law to help you dress up to impress her brother.

"What D-Do you think? Pretty huh?.....Gyutaro?"

"P-Pretty."

"Thank you. N-Now about dinner-"

"Pretty."

"Yes. I-"

"Pretty."

"Hun-"

"Pretty-"

Turns out you completely broke his brain seeing his already pretty wife dress up so attractively.

KAIGAKU:

His mind honestly blue screens for a long moment looking you over and over...A pink hue covers his face as his pointed ears pin back to his head. He has to forcibly turn his head away and pretend interest in the food to avoid you seeing the fluster on his face. His voice sputters and he quickly covers it by shoving the raw steak into his maw...but the pink tips of his ears aren't fooling you. Although maybe you did go too far because he doesn't communicate with you until you change back because he won't allow you to see his face.

HAIROU:

He doesn't say anything about it for a long time only looking at you up and down as you nervously still smile awkwardly up at him... Before he clears his throat and calmly takes off his cape before plopping it over your shoulders.

"The surprise is-...I-I-Its nice bu-bu-but you shouldn't have."

He really likes it however and the blush on his face is not helping him to hide how he really feels.

KYOGAI:

He asks you if you're ok from falling over and once you confirm that you are ok he just silently staring at you for a long while before he slowly turns inhumanly slowly towards the candlelight dinner before back to the rose petals on the floor. Before his bottom lip wobbled and honest tears start falling from his eyes as a sob escaped his throat.

"I-I lov-v-ve you so much!"

He's overwhelmed by the fact you'd do something so romantic just for him and he's crying out of happiness. Give him a second. He'll kiss you after but first he needs a second to blabber about how much he loves you.

ENMU:

You don't get time to react before he was upon you. Giggling like a mad man before wrapping his arms around you and pulling your squeaking form against his chest and leaning so close that you can feel the warmth of his breath on your face.

"Oh darling.~ You could've just told me you felt lonely.~ Going through all this trouble..But I admit, I find you rather ravishing.~"
