I figured it was about time I made an actual blog intro of my own since I forgot to make one when I started this blog last year. Better late than never, lmao!

I am an Asexual woman (my pronouns are she/her!) and I'm also personally an atheist who puts my faith in the spirits of Mother Nature, though I respect all other religions equally!

I'm Gen Z and Latina (Brazilian). I was raised bilingual (Brazilian Portuguese + English) and I love learning languages - currently, I'm working on learning French and Spanish! Career-wise I am studying in college to become a character designer and hopefully animator, as I want to pursue a career as an artist and writer! I adore listening to music, especially songs that can inspire me to write my WIPs! Playlists are a huge part of my writing process and something I really enjoy making.

I'm currently rereading Shadow and Bone (+ Six of Crows) and I am always looking for more good dark fantasy/historical fantasy books to read so book recs are always welcome! I also am a huge fan of the Percy Jackson series and Trials of Apollo (by Rick Riordan), though I'm usually more of a gritty/dark fantasy fan (like Game of Thrones)!

I have three dogs and two cats!😺🐶

I know how to play the piano, though I haven't done that in a while because things have been chaotic for me, but I'd like to start playing regularly again in my winter vacation.

I have worn glasses since I was 5 years old and have terrible eyesight without them (and some days with them, lol, so bear with me).

My friends and I are doing a DnD campaign every Sunday, where I play as a half-elf rogue named Aeryn (he/him). I'm adoring this adventure so far, it's so fun!!!

I love to bake and am rather good at it, but am a painfully average cook lmao (some specific recipes I make are actually rlly good, but it depends a lot on my mood and the 'alignment of the stars' lol)

About my Writing!🏹⌛

I write fictional works mostly in the genre of fantasy (high fantasy/epic fantasy/dark fantasy/historical fantasy/urban fantasy, etc. You name it!) and science fiction (space opera/cyberpunk/superhero, etc).

My works usually revolve around themes such as epic quests, secrets, adventure, rebels fighting an oppressive system, sibling bonds, acceptance/respect, outcasts, and much, much more! I love fluff and whump equally, and though my stories tend to focus on serious topics (or at least darker/heavier themes) within a fantasy/sci-fi setting, I like to have a good bit of humor, lighthearted fun, and comedy to my stories to lighten up the mood!

Academic:

Languages - Ever since early Highschool, I adored all languages! I currently only learn German and Spanish, but if I could I would learn French too. My dream is to be at least tri-lingual!!

Maths - I think since I was young I was always good at maths, which I'm very grateful for. I think my favourite type of Maths is probably shapes in triangles or something like that, though algebra in general is fun :)

Accounting (ik ew) - In the beginning I found it difficult, but the more I learnt the easier I found it. Sometimes it's nice just sit and do numbers and nothing super creative.

Non-academic:

Gaming - I love gaming with all my heart. I think I've always been interested in games since I was at least 9 or something. My current favourite game is probably TF2!! I started playing in 2019 and haven't stopped loving it since (although the a lot of the playerbase can be toxic)

Drawing - I'm not the best at drawing, but a sketch now and then always helps me, especially when I want to make a new OC! I also like sketching up outfit ideas for me to try out later. I usually draw fem people, since I'm not that good at drawing masc people :(

Writing - Of course I love writing! I started writing 'x reader' fics when I was on Wattpad then moved to Tumblr!

Playing piano - I'm self-taught so I'm not that good, but I still enjoy playing simple tunes now and then. Last song I was learning was 'I Giorni'. :)

Swimming - I don't take classes, I just enjoy relaxing in the water. Sometimes it's really nice just to immerse yourself in the water and not make a sound, you know?

Star Wars: Clone Wars - It's an amazing show with great characters and visuals! I definitely have it as one of my special interests... It's really interesting to watch the show and see how each season the animation/visuals improve. I wish there was a separate show or smth where the clones actually get a good ending for once... 😭

Lethal Company - I love this little horror game so much! I had a hyperfixation (no longer) to the point I actually made a 67 slide PowerPoint about it... I might have a problem. I like playing it with my friends the most, since I get scared alone really easily!

Republic Commando - Recently got it and I am hyperfixating fr 😭 I love these lil guys so much I sure hope nothing bad happens to them (especially to Scorch and Sev haha) (/s, I know what happens)

As previously stated, this is my multifandom dumping site. But it is also my meme dumping site. Anything that is not related to a fandom is not specifically tagged (mostly).

In regards to fandom posts, I usually tag the fandom itself and, if relevant, specific ships. I don't normally tag characters, because that would get out of hand pretty quickly. ^^"

je ne veux pas means 'i dont want' but i feel like MAYBE that phrasing is a little interesting, because you could also say 'je ne veux', meaning the same thing. im only vaguely familiar with how this works in french but ive always seen it as something similar that exists in spanish, where you would normally say 'te odio' ('i hate u' lol, te meaning you and odio being the i (first person) form of the verb hate) but if you wanted to had more force and deeper emotion you could say 'yo te odio' (yo = i, te = you, odio = i hate), its a bit hard to explain but thinking about it ig its exactly like how in english we normally say 'dont do that' but when were feeling really angry and want to emphasise what were saying with more serious emotional weight we say 'do not do that' ('do not' instead of 'dont'). in this case, its 'ne veux' vs 'ne veux pas'. i think this is less extreme with french, and maybe its just because its in a book/comic so maybe that would make sense if things were just written a little more 'properly', but to me 'je ne veux pas' instead of just 'je ne veux' sounds like its emphasising a deeper care for whoever this is and that theyr really worried about loosing them, i assume this is about some ship idk lol. its defiently not a lot since i dont think this distinction is at all as extreme in french, i think both are pretty commonly interchanged(?), but this line seems to hold more emotional weight than it COULD have, is basically what im saying. its more like.... vibes ???? 😭 idk im not good at french yet its just what ive observed from interacting with the language, i could just be wrong dfhkdjfhkj ALSO I JUST NOTICED THE ITALICIZED EXCLIMATION POINT ? yeah this guy is def really worried about loosing whoever this other person is, they should kiss or soemthing

anyways yeah this is def singular btw, 'te perdre' means 'loose you', te being a VERY SPECIFICALLY singular way of saying you, they are absolutely addressing just one person with this

Btw i’d like to note that in the official french translation, this sentence got switched from plural to singular. As in, Chilchuck’s saying « I dont want to lose you » the you here being Laios, alone.
