Flynn in The Dog Wood.
Dog Wood is it's proper name & has been for over 200 years, at least - probably a lot longer. Certainly appropriate. It's about 2 minutes walk from the town centre & so a good portion of the resident dogs exercise here regularly. Some evenings it's like half the town's canine population is up in Dog Wood, having a big old puppy party! Flynn's not the partying type, so we try to go up when it's quieter... although I have to say, we pretty lucky with our local dogs - most we've met over the years have been fairly well mannered & happy to leave antisocial collies alone! Flynn appreciates that, although he's even happier when we have the place to ourselves ;-)
