I never intended to meet you, but I did.

I never imagined my love would be on the other side of the world, but you are.

I never thought you’d leave me for days on end without so much as an ‘I’ll be back…’ but you have—multiple times.

I never wanted to feel lonely with you, but I felt more alone than I ever had.

I don’t know how I thought this would go. I am not moving there, and you didn’t seem to keen on moving here. We had absolutely zero visitation plans.

I asked you over 100 times to call me so I can finally hear your voice. You never did. I still don’t know what you sound like.

We had more than enough time. I gave us more than enough time.

I never thought it would end, but it did.

It just wasn’t meant to be.

“Sorry forgot I had other plans”

You never once asked me if I wanted to go out.

I don’t care that this relationship ended.

It’s whatever.

I’ll be honest I did like you before but I wasn’t going to ask you out.

I know I’m unloveable.

But then your stupid fucking friends got in my head telling me that you wanted to date me but was too scared to ask.

They kept asking me until I did.
