I have been Inspired by this and it's time to WRITE AU IDEA MAYBE EVEN POST ABOUT IT IF THE ANXITEY DOESNT KILL ME (and if I can actually come up with a name for it)

Geeeeeemmm like I love me an au where Gem gets to be a little bit evil but like, I also love this, she's sooooooo I need to protect her I am SCARED

I'm sick rn and should probably go to sleep but how am I supposed to that when there's au

Little question (: does Lizzie have any kind of role in the au? If she's just a side character then just use this ask to rant about whatever you want. I just like me some Lizzie lore :D

Sorry for taking like three days to respond to this, ADHD paralysis is a bitch

I'm so glad I could ruin you, I hope I continue to do that

Lizzie does have a role, but it's a bit more of an Empires focused character than in the Life Series

I forget if I've said Jimmy is a Listener but if I have, that's being retconned, Jimmy and Lizzie are both lesser Ocean Gods, unlike Watchers, Listeners, and Walkers, they can't pass between realms

The Watchers threw Jimmy into the life series after the Rapture, Lizzie was out of commission for a pretty long time, because of her losing the Ocean's Blessing, they basically had to bring her back to life without restoring any memories, it was flawed the first time so she was taken out until Secret Life

Jimmy does remember a bit of Empires, nothing small, but just moments where he felt a lot of negative emotions, he has no memory of Scott or Lizzie, but even though Walker Gem and Empires s1 Gem aren't the same he still gets reminded of the WRA when he sees her (not by name obviously), Pearl IS the same person across all the series, so that's why Jimmy doesn't want to be near her, she has roughly the same reaction because she wasn't as involved with the bullying but also she's the same person, they kind of balance out

Lizzie would only get memories triggered if Xornoth or Joey showed up, because she didn't have that negative of a relationship with anyone, Gem and Pearl might trigger memories if they tried to attack Jimmy, but it wouldn't be as strong as Jimmy, along with that, the Watchers had almost 2 whole extra seasons to work on her memory

Lizzie as a cat had a bigger role in Gem's life, Gem, Katherine, and Lizzie hung out for years before Shelby and False showed up, Gem and Katherine had a whole "Good Luck Babe"/"Casual" thing going on for a bit, Katherine absolutely refused to believe she was queer and was kind of terrible to Gem, and Gem just kind of took it because she was used to it

Lizzie was Gem's support system, not as effectively as Grian because she didn't really know the whole of it, but Lizzie was definitely on me of the dominoes that had to fall to get Gem to accept help

Hope this was a sufficient rant for the wait time, sorry if I got a little sidetracked with Jimmy, see previously mentioned ADHD for an explaintion

Gems lore is my favourite by far

We don't really talk enough about Gem lore actually. What do you mean she is a celestial shapeshifting goddess that jumps from world to world and has no real emotional connection to what happens because she considers all of it roleplay in canon. How is this the canon and why is it not talked about more, this like on the level of watcher Grian and yet It's so ignored.

Hi! I’m gay and I know how important queer representation can be. The MCYT community has felt like a very safe and representative community but I had a question: What server has the highest queers per capita?

Now, not being normal, I did the research! Why? I don’t know! Anyway, here are the gayest minecraft servers:

Ranking by percentage:

Empires SMP - 41.7%

Dream SMP - 25.7%

Vault Hunters SMP - 23.0%

Last Life SMP - 17.6%

Origins SMP - 13.3%

Hermitcraft - 7.7%

Recognition of Queer Creators who have occupied some special role in regards to representation (and rewards):

Smajor: Queer representation on the most number of servers (Scott gets one (1) free pass to continue flirting with one of your husbands on Twitter)

Zombiecleo: Only representation on Hermitcraft until this week (Cleo gets to be safe from moon big)

Eret: First openly non-binary person on any of these servers (Eret gets another Ted)

Empires SMP!

Despite having the smallest server size, Empires SMP had the second highest number of openly queer people. It ranked highest in terms of percentage and second highest in number of openly queer members!

(all of the garbage I had to figure out if you wanna see my thought process and a necessary disclaimer are under the cut if you’re interested)

Disclaimer: I am including everyone who plays somewhat regularly on a given server (this means I am not including one off server tours like Pokimane (thanks DSMP)). I am also only including people who have publicly come out. People who are unknown or have not explicitly stated they are queer will not be included. Asexuality and acespec creators will be included. I do not tolerate acephobia. Creators who encourage any pronouns will be included, creators who simply don’t mind any way will not.  I do not tolerate truthing of content creators. This is explicitly about the content creators, not any roleplay characters. Anyone who is truthing, excluding, or shipping irl people on my post will be immediately blocked.
