The Secret Toymaker: As his young daughter, Ursula, grows into an odd and quiet girl, banker George Warleggan is desperate to forge a meaningful connection with her. He soon finds that while the child is not interested in conversation with her sad and awkward widower father, she is willing to play for hours on end with the toys in her well-stocked nursery. In an effort to please her and perhaps finally attract her attention, George himself begins to secretly build her some toys. A Sam/Emma + French war of religions (or Salem witch trials - I think that Emma has some spellbinding :D) Thanks!

I chose the Salem witch trials, since I don't know enough about the French wars of religion. I hope you like it! :)

The filth and grime of Boston gaol clung to her pale skin and hair, but still Sam found his gaze lingering on her face, the curve of her lips as they curved into a hint of a sardonic smile despite her situation. She seemed to find the whole matter somewhat amusing, scoffing at the bewitched girls at the meeting house, even as they were tormented by their fits, by her witchery.

Sam had to confess to surprise when he was told that Emma had been arrested. She was irreverant and flighty, bold and saucy, no lover of piety and obedience, but a witch? Sam could not credit it. And yet...she had long ago cast her spell upon him.

Failure 4x04 Poldark

Frankly, the scene on the beach after Sarah’s death was so badly written, absurd, uncomfortable, no-sense, delirious and full of disrespect.

It is not the first time Debbie (creator of the series) is making scenes on her own initiative and they don’t connected to the books, but THIS is outrageous.

Ross isn’t so idiot and dumb, and especially he will never pollute the memory of Julia by talking about Hugh and other superfluous things. Really I don’t get it. This useless and indelicate scene ruined the episode.

Another defect of this season: how can we be attached to the plot, to the development of the characters if the scenes last a maximum of 2 minutes and then move on to another in a disorderly way? This 4 season hasn’t a good representation, since most of the characters are suffering grave TRAUMAS and they deserve better
