Hi!! I love your art and OC's!! I was wondering who does each person get along with/like the most from all the characters, and who do they like the least/get annoyed with?

Thank you🥺 I’m just gonna hone in on the boys. I like yapping about the web of characters they interact with (it extends beyond what’s labeled here, but. I’m kinda just shooting off.)

There’s pictures this time, be warned. And some descriptions are longer than others because I answered this on different nights with different headspaces 😭 …over a span of weeks, and even then? I don’t think I managed to cover everything I’d like to nor articulate it correctly. Just fill in the blanks.

Emilio Estrada-Alvarez 🦜

🦜 It’s not that he likes vice-housewarden Jamil exactly (Emilio doesn’t like a ton of people), but he does go out of his way to be appease to him since it’s in his better interest. He practically parrots what he says at times. Jamil exploits this insistence to please, but he can tell Emilio has ulterior motives. Albeit harmless, stupid ones, but motives nonetheless.

🦜 Ends up in a weird mutually beneficial situation where if Jamil is absent, and he can’t rely on the rest of the dorm to follow his backup plans/manuals for Kalim— Emilio is his go-to person to pick up duties. Things will run smoothly as a result.

🦜 All the while, Emilio gets to feel important and like he’s in charge and put those overly detail-oriented habits to use 👍

🦜 They get along… enough. Think Jafar and Iago. They do, but they also don’t. Emilio values praise from Jamil should he get it, and Jamil sometimes will listen to Emilio’s crapshoot ideas should they be useful.

🦜 Emilio had a bad encounter with Sebek on orientation day. That was enough to make Emilio detest him considerably. He was glad to know they’d be in separate dorms… only for the lug to wander into Scarabia.

🦜 So not only was this guy rude and dismissive— he’s an absentminded fool, too! And put Scarabia’s orientation to a halt just to take this guy back to where he should be. So he gets his hand held?

🦜 On top of that? One of his biggest peeves is loud noises. This is the loudest person in existence. AND THE TRUE ICING? This is his classmate.

🦜 All of the above is rather petty, but Emilio is a petty diva.

🦜 Sebek does not acknowledge Emilio’s existence, and that annoys Emilio even more. It’s not like Sebek forgot him, it’s just that he literally does not care about his immediately peers all that much to begin with, Emilio is not a special case at all.

Cecil Mugwort 🌿

🌿 It’s… again, it’s not like Cecil LIKES Rook, it’s more like Rook is fascinated by him. They’re both in the Science Club, so encounters are frequent. He asks Cecil a lot of questions but strangely never gets too personal. He finds him very uniquely beautiful :3 Especially when Cecil focuses hardcore on whatever he’s working on. He can relate.

🌿 Cecil does not believe any of that flowery stuff Rook says, it’s not like the guy doesn’t treat everyone with similar gravitas. He thinks he’s a weirdo. Cecil sometimes mocks his manner of speech and generally tries to ignore him, but they run into each other far too much for that to be effective.

🌿 It’s very possible that Rook knows from observation that Cecil’s self worth is kind of on the lower side, so he’s careful not to intrude too much- BUT knows that Cecil needs someone to be persistent in order for him to open up. Rook in general is just persistent so it works out.

🌿 Similar things can apply to his classmate Kalim and roommate/classmate Silver. Cecil gets invited to parties but never goes, and he more or less can be himself around Silver.

🌿 Cecil by all accounts “gets along” with nobody, he just tolerates others around him since he’s not going to DO anything except snark. …Well—

🌿 Cecil is terrified of Jade, but Jade wants to be his friend :) Cecil does not like Jade’s vibes, not that he’s a big fan of either Leech twin, but this guy is the one who pokes his buttons the most.

🌿 C’mon. They like the same things :) I mushroom, he mushroom? He’s seen Cecil dabble in terrarium making, they should exchange information and specimen sometime!

🌿 Jade likes to… observe Cecil. Usually, he doesn’t outwardly provoke him, but that’s kind of by design. Cecil is just such a disaster and brings so much chaos wherever he goes, and Jade can’t help but wanna witness all of it. If not witness, then maybe have a have in setting the pieces in motion ☺️ it’s such a joy to watch and really fascinating.

🌿 Jade wants Cecil to join his club. You know. :) For fun. Cecil refuses to be alone with Jade in any capacity. Anytime he’s out and something stupid happens to him, how come that eel somehow always manages to show up!? AAAAAAAA—

Nyoka Wadjet 🫖

🫖 If asked by a staff member or his housewarden, Nyoka will engage in some light tutoring for younger students. Assuming they agree to it. Outside of his own dorm, most do not.

🫖 Every now and then, he ends up tutoring Deuce on a semi-recurring basis. Even though Deuce tends to hide that for pride reasons (he wants to be an honor student but still needing extra help kinda negs at him sometimes, especially if someone like Ace exists to be kind of a shit about it), Nyoka doesn’t really care. It’s not like he advertises this.

🫖 Deuce is kinda… he can be kind of oblivious to what’s around him, and for whatever reason , never really caught onto the fact that most people avoid Nyoka. (…he’s quite literally venomous so it’s not entirely without reason…) He kind of knows nothing about him at all, actually.

🫖 He just thinks Nyoka is super cool and the guy is actually an honor student— and not only that he explains the material in a way he can understand. (But he also thinks the whole cobra beastman thing is dope)

🫖 If Deuce gets a higher score after the fact he’s extremely willing to jump straight into the cobras den and show him. Which would baffle anyone else.

🫖 Ironically, despite being the most aloof person here, the way Nyoka regards Deuce is probably the most normal. He surprisingly does not mind him at all.

🫖 He might not show it, but… that freshmen is okay. The forward enthusiasm over test scores can be a tad off-putting but… it’s a strange feeling to be relied on without pretense. 🤔

🫖 Nyoka fucking hates Idia.

🫖 I can’t say what the deep reason is. Too lore heavy. But, the most I’ll say is that it’s less about Idia himself and more about the Shroud family in general.

🫖 Other than that he does actually dislike him though. It’s the little habits… they build up, and it seems like no matter what Idia does or doesn’t do, it bothers him to no end.

emilio had claimed another victim. it wasn't even that hard to do. he had his reputation in the company, but that didn't mean he just coasted by on what people thought about him. he was just as good in the ring as all the others, if not more so because of his willingness to 'look beyond the barriers of the rules' as he like to say. if he wanted to do something, he was gonna do it and dare anyone to try and stop him. the guy he faced tonight never stood a chance, and everyone in the audience pretty much knew it.

now everyone was waiting with bated breath to see what the man would do now. he got the win, but that didn't mean the show was over. he knew the eyes were all on him, and that only made the grin on his face all the wider. he reached into his trunks and pulled out a small red pill. there was no expectation for decency or couth with this man. he held it in his hand for only a few seconds before prying his opponent's jaw open and forcing it right down their throat.

this wasn't some new tactic for the man. he always seemed to have a litany of pills at his disposal that had all kinds of effects. he seemed to know exactly what it did as he went to go rest against the turnbuckle. his opponent, however, wasn't so lucky. he began to sweat profusely. it wasn't gradual at all. it was an immediate thing that had the man panting and writhing as his internal body temperature was rising more and more by the second.

you could see the redness taking over his body and the effects seeming to get more and more drastic until a sharp whistle cut through the arena. emilio had a smirk on his face as he had undressed and his cock was out and hard for all to see. he also had a bottle of water uncapped and was pouring it all over himself.

there was no time for shame or dignity as the man hurriedly crawled over to the behemoth, who was more than willing to shove his freshly wet shaft down his throat to 'beat back the heat'. the desperate slurps and sucks were like music to his ears.

HIIII IM VERY SORRY FOR TAKING THIS LONG I WAS STRUGGLING WITH UNIVERSITY AND I WANTED TO MAKE SOME SORT OF DECENT THING TO SUMMARIZE ALL OF THEM, BUT AS YOU MIGHT NOTICE THERE'S MANY CHARACTERS.

Idk if i can fully explain the whole plot since that'd take me like way too long of an explanation but! here's a rundown of Almost Every Character involved! (This story/plot is one i have been building up with my gf @/fridaywave (he's not active on tumblr) so all of them are connected in some way!)

The main Main character of them all is Dani, mainly bc we have split the timeline between past and present to the point where Dani and Niki meet! (more in the readmore)

Dani is a very troubled character who came from a not-so-great, middle-high class family in Inkopolis, he always struggled with his identity because he was kind of the shadow of his twin sister (Gender crisis did not help this). After he realized that Art School wasn't the right thing for him, he ran away to Splatsville to start anew and maybe find artistic inspiration again with the "chaotic" nature of the Splatlands.

There she meets Niki, who also introduces her to her own "gang" of friends who were all part of the low-division competitive team Badlands Wanderers. The team stopped participating in the competitive scene after their own leader, Erika, left them all behind.

During the whole story Dani slowly grows into his own person, meeting more friends, coming to terms with his past, and learning to express himself openly. Also falling in love with the very, very cool Niki who was the one who saw his determination from the start. They all also manage to get rid of the pain in the ass that Rowan is during all of it.

"Stupid, jerk...ass cop!" Riley bites out in frustration over her chicken lo mein. She's working late, on a Friday no less, because the police have to be a pain in her ass. Who the hell serves a warrant at 4:45 on a Friday afternoon?

It's not entirely Emilio's fault that she's this stressed, knowing how the courts can be and how timing is never good for this kind of thing, but the steady pulsing pain that's been living behind her left eyeball for the last hour is fraying at her last nerve.

Riley debates texting Luis, just so someone can understand her irritation, but there's still a part of her that feels bad about shit talking a guy to his own son. Even if he remains a sopping wet blanket that suffocates everyone he comes into contact with.

God, writing up that restraining order for Luis is going to be cathartic.

Does Emilio have his signature spell? If so, what does it do?

Of COURSE he does. AND SORRY ABOUT THE WALL OF TEXT.

Emilio’s signature spell/unique magic:

“This is True”

Allows him to truthfully answer almost any question asked of him about the person asking. He functions as something of an oracle.

While it grants Emilio a level of all-knowingness, it is limited in scope with many stipulations.

• “This is True” can only provide answers that relate to the person asking, not about anyone else nor matters outside of the person asking. So, he isn’t exactly useful in terms of trying to get dirt on others via his magic. He cannot do that. And he can’t ask the questions.

• There must be physical contact with him and the person asking the question. Palm-to-palm is his go-to, but it doesn’t seem to matter.

• Emilio‘s magic will not allow him to hide the truth once he has received a proper answer to a question, whether he or the receiver likes the answer or not.

• A person can as ask as many questions about their past and present as they like (within reason, obviously not in a single round). It will always be true. He can tell you things about yourself that you may have forgotten about like a memory, or where you left your keys. Whatever one can think of so long as it’s about themselves.

• A person may ask about their future, but they only can ask one question and receive one answer. Once someone ask a question about their future in any capacity they cannot ask Emilio any question about their future ever again. Period. So don’t waste it, or don’t ask. The future is far too uncertain, but his answer will always be a true one out of many possibilities, if vague. Besides, he doesn’t like doing it!!

It is currently unknown how much his magic will evolve, if at all. The limited scope makes his magic accumulate little blot, though it can accumulate much faster if it’s about the future. Yay for caps.

Note: The spell name is Esteban’s catchphrase. Emilio’s magic inspiration is primarily derived from Esteban’s habit of warning people and predicting events that nobody around him heeds, and usually being right. In Elena of Avalor, that kinda sets off his weird betrayal flip-flopping villain arc he never commits to. Emilio’s magic also doubles as a reference to the Oracle in Aladdin and The King of Thieves which I only realized after the fact. Neat.

Cirrus: creates physical distance between you and them. asks you loudly and very obviously if you are alright, and if something needs to be done about them. their voice stays relatively calm but they are NOT.

Emilio: grabs you by the waist and whisks you away. shoots a nasty glare over his shoulder at them. asks how you're feeling once you're somewhere further away.

Charles: tells them off. is pissed. tells them you're his, and then walks away with your hand in his.

Vera: sighs loudly, pulls you closer, looks them dead in the eye. "maybe you should fuck off, huh?" death glares at them until they leave.

Nia: "they're taken. by me. bye!" kisses your cheek and tells them to go somewhere else.

adam is always trying to cement his reputation. he'll face off against anyone that thinks they can take him on. win or loss, he's not about to back down from anyone. emilio wasn't the kind of guy that you just lightly come across. he has the reputation backstage that he has for a reason. no matter how much of it is true, either all of it or none of it, the fact that that's swirling around him is more than enough to raise the red flags.

if adam wanted any kind of chance to come out of this, he'd have to be strategic and careful. just as crafty as he would have to be, fontana was just as crafty and wily. even if he wasn't crazed, he was smart enough to act like he was. it was more than enough to throw people off regularly, so why not use it to his advantage?

if adam were to keep his eye on the prize, he might come out with the win. the likelihood of that, though, grows slimmer the longer the match goes on. once emilion knows he's in your head, that's pretty much all she wrote.
