You're post about being transwhite resonated with me as a Black person still being seen as "too white". I wanted to claim being transwhite when I first gotten in the trace community, but I was internally ashamed. Post like yours reminds me that it's okay to be (trans)white.

Yeah I was feeling that too for a long time. When i finally came out and told some of my friends they were very wonderful about it and helped me. And honestly, i've been feeling a lot better about so many things ever since coming out. I've never really realized it but i've felt restricted on everything from fashion choices to food to language and now i've never felt so free and i've really only just now started finding a personal aesthetic i like and not just one i feel i fit the image of and won't get made fun of over it.

Its a nice feeling to finally do it but do wait till you feel more comfortable with it, is the best advice i can give.

This is Spark, They are a Tetraplegic Chao Cream found and brought to Tails,who successfully managed to build a fully functional mechanical body for them to play with. This robot body is connected to their brain and can even fly.

Spark lives at Tail's workshop and they’re clearly very fond of Cream -who regularly visits them to play- and Tails.

Originally,Tails was going to design Spark’s robot body based on his own (for trademark reasons) but since Cream was Spark's “owner” (for lack of a better term referring to someone who takes care of a chao) ,she wanted to participate in the designing part and gave him a few crayon drawings of rabbits, which were so cute that Tails simply had to include them in the final design. This is why they look like a Fox/Rabbit hybrid. (it also makes sense since Spark sees them both as some sort of older siblings)

ofc Spark isn't always inside their robot body,Tails takes them in and out everyday.

Aaand these are some apprentices I designed for the Babylon Rogues! Tundra,Velvet and Ember. They love snowboarding and are developing their skills at Extreme Gear Racing. They kinda need some redesigning...

These three are orphans. They used to live at an orphanage situated in a small town near Snow Valley. Unsatisfied with their lives there (and that nobody seemed to be interested in adopting them) they ran away around the age of 12 to try and start new lifes on their own,resorting to thievery and trickery to get by. Life was hard and unfair for three kids growing up in the snowy streets,but thanks to Velvet's determination,Ember's charisma and Tundra's intelligence they managed to survive. After a year of wandering,they stole 3 snowboards and started practicing the sport ,with the hopes that one day they would become famous professionals who didn't need to resort to stealing. However,by they age of 16, they hadn't just developed great skill and love for what they now consider "the art of thievery" - and a liking for equipment and luxuries most can't afford- but they also had lost all interest on the "safer" version of snowboarding and became addicted to the speed and the danger of racing.

They set on a journey to find their childhood idols: The babylon Rogues, a group of legendary thieves that they heard tales about back at the orphanage's storytime and who's Extreme Gear skills were what originally inspired them to try snowboarding. They traveled far and wide searching for them and once they managed to find Wave,Jet and Storm,they begged them to teach them their ways . After annoying them enough (and practically not letting them alone lol) the trio of professionals finally agreed to train them.

VELVET THE NORTHERN CARDINAL:

Energic,Peppy,Sassy,Optimistic,laid-back and confident. A speed junkie and a little bit of a clown. The fastest of the trio. Jet is his Idol and he'll do anything to impress him. Tries to annoy Sonic to imitate his teacher,but he actually thinks he is the coolest guy around after Jet. He has a big heart and doesn't seem to hate Sonic -or anyone -at all,but he does enjoy some friendly banter at the moment of competing. Jet likes him a lot and is kinda proud of him but he tries not to show it ,as he doesn't want the kid (or himself) to get attached or to think he'll actually pass to him his "Master of the wind" title someday.

The gem-shaped-computer on his neck was a gift he received from Wave after she updated her own and didn't know what to do with her old one. According to her,she handed it down to him cause "it matched his feathers". Now,feeling honored by one of his idols,he wears it with pride.

EMBER THE COCKATIEL:

Cheeky, Rebellious, Brave, Impulsive and Loyal. Doing tricks in the air like its nothing is her specialty. Cares a lot about her looks and is an expert at the art of deception. She is also can be a little bit of meanie. She and Wave share a sister-like kind of relationship. Since they both have strong personalities, they fight a lot and she tends to disobey her,espeally when it comes to the times she tries to teach her about mechanics and "the boring part" of Extreme Gear personalization. However, they always make up and end up gossiping at the end of the day.

TUNDRA THE CRESTED PENGUIN :

Silent, cold, shy, serious, a bit competitive and incredibly smart. Expert at strategizing and finding shortcuts while racing. Has high expectations of himself and doesn't handle failure very well. Being the oldest by a year,he is very protective of his adoptive siblings. Unlike Wave and Jet,Storm didn't have to be convinced to take him under his wing cause he liked the kid since the moment he showed up. tho he is trying to teach him to live a little and be a bit more impulsive at the moment of racing.

Okay, I did answer a question like this on ao3, so here's the answer:

Sam: Has bet that they literally will not confess until one or both is on the brink of literal actual final death

Tucker: Bet that Jason will confess first (he knows his best friend. He does. Which is why he is not betting on him)

Jazz: Did not place bets, thats so wrong!

She bet on Jason confessing on accident first. Then, him trying to cover it up and brush it off, then panicking and throwing together a novel worthy date in under an hour to 'officially make his intentions known'.

The ghosts have not placed bets because none of them actually see anything wrong with the pining. When dealing with immortal beings, their concept of how long it is appropriate to pine (or court) is skewed. For them its basically been like. A week. They also all still see them as 🥺bebes🥺 and don't really fully compute them actually dating and things.

Thank you for this ask, anon! This will be super fun to list out all of my favorite Nesta scenes from the ACOTAR books.

ACOTAR

"Tell me everything that happened." - When Feyre returns to her family halfway through the book, and we learn Tamlin's glamour didn't work on Nesta, and Feyre starts to understand Nesta's inner fire in a way she hadn't before. This set of scenes launched Nesta right on to my list of favorite characters - they are pure fire.

Feyre teaches Nesta to paint - This is a brief but, to me, utterly beautiful moment amid the set of scenes I listed above. It's when Nesta asks Feyre to teach her to paint, and in particular it's the moment when they emerge from where they had been painting together and both are covered in paint and charcoal, even as it's clear Nesta isn't very good at it but she wanted to try anyway, with her sister. Some day I want to commission an artist to draw Feyre and Nesta in this moment of ACOTAR. It fills my familial heart right up every time I read it.

ACOMAF

"Wings and Embers" bonus chapter - When I first read this bonus chapter, the way Nesta's pov in this extended scene made me feel seen by words on the page, in a way I never had felt seen before, is something I cherish.

When the human queens visit the Archeron estate - Nesta makes a passionate and uncharacteristically vulnerable plea to the queens to protect the human lands south of Prythian, which leads to Cassian promising to protect the humans even if the queens will not. It's another beautiful example of Nesta being vulnerable in a public way, and it moves me every time I read it.

"The hellcat now, if you'll be so kind." - When the King of Hybern orders Nesta to be pushed into the Cauldron and forcibly Made Fae. This entire scene is devastating and traumatic. But watching Nesta fight back with the rage we first glimpse in "Wings and Embers" makes this an absolute standout Nesta scene for me. The finger point at Hybern and his unnerved reaction are everything to me.

ACOWAR

Scenes when Nesta is training with Amren - I always loved these and even though my present canonical feelings about Amren are mixed to poor, the way these scenes brought out a side of Nesta we hadn't seen yet make them special to me.

The meeting of the High Lords - Both during it, when Nesta as the Night Court's new Emissary to the Human Lands makes a public and, again, incredibly vulnerable case to those assembled that the humans are worth protecting, and also the scene just after the meeting when Nesta senses the Cauldron and Cassian believes her without question, which is just one of many of the embarrassment of riches we get in this book when it comes to Nessian.

When Nesta scries for the Cauldron with stones and bones - Everything about this scene is chef's kiss, but especially the Nessian dynamic in it.

Nesta screaming for Cassian during the battle against Hybern - This doesn't need an explanation, does it? As we learn later, it's the moment Cassian realizes they are mates. It is everything.

Cassian lifting Nesta to greet Drakon and the legions he brought with him, and the arrival of Papa Archeron - This scene, also during the battle, means so much to me that it's depicted in the first ever artwork I commissioned.

Nessian's stand against the King of Hybern - the way they fight together and are willing to die together sets me alight whenever I read it, and it's always fascinating to me that SJM manages to show us this scene from within Feyre's pov, who isn't even present for it.

Nesta and her father - His last words to her.....ACOSF shows just how important and complicated this moment is for Nesta, and it's for those same reasons this scene is so important to me.

Nesta kills the king - I love that Elain is the one who appears and makes the first blow on this kill, and that when Nesta finishes the job she lifts the king's head like the badass that she is. There is such trauma and rage in this moment and, again, seeing that baldly on the page is transformative for me every time I read it. Related to this moment is a little while later when the Archeron sisters walk past the King of Hybern's corpse, and Nesta spits on it. So raw, so perfect.

ACOFAS

Nesta's pov - After her fight with Cassian, the small snippet we get in Nesta's pov when she returns to her apartment, locks her doors, and completely dissociates in despair. It is so painful and raw, but again there is something about this scene that also makes me feel seen, especially heading into ACOSF.

(forgive me if this is a strange thing to ask!) the little bean shaped cats from your recent bedtime post are something I've been considering buying myself, but I cannot for the life of me find any description on what they actually feel like. are they entirely stuffing or are there beans in there? :0

SO SORRY THIS TOOK ME SO LONG:

Cats vs pickles have beanie baby type beans in the bottom and stuffing above that! The ratio of beans to stuffing can honestly vary between beans as none are exactly the same, so usually I like to feel them before I buy if I can? Usually through the bags. The beans give them a nice weight!

The Hideaway.

A place of second chances, with a roof to defend from the torrents of Storm, food to warm empty bellies, and companions who knew the same aches as the brands across your cheek. A promise full of good will; built on the back of guilt.

That’s how he’d always seen it, and even now as trained steps brought the shadow from the wilds with ever followed silence, he knew that outlook wouldn’t change - that weight that came with the sound of the living only wrought the barbs of discomfort across broad shoulders, his hand thumbing against the comfort of steel as people parted to give distance to the soldier and his encumbered bag slung across a shoulder, warry of it’s rust coloured mysteries.

“Aramis, been almost a moon. What’er you got for me?” Lady Charon’s voice cut through as clear sunlight to his attention. Not an ounce of hesitation to greet the looming guardian as he approached - despite the lacking of his own greeting as other polite hands, her tone held no malice or dissatisfaction of his nonexistent pleasantries - taking only another sup to smoke a pause while he placed the bag aside her counter to open.

Well skinned and salted meats lay within, supplies for the abode he so avoided.

“Venison this time is it? Got yourself a large buck or two by the looks of it lad, hrm?” Though she posed questions, the older woman continued about her business as if not expecting an answer; as none came beyond a slight nod, the man’s attention drifting across the other bodies within the room with flicking appraisal. Something of this hidden world had changed since he was last here, and it was with a chuff of air that Charon caught him as she ever did. “If you’re lookin’ for Cid he’s been busy with a new friend.”

Friend? The question came unspoken with a tilt of the head, dark locks drifting across clawed scars as the tall shadow turned his attention down to her.

As ever, she answered, a motion of her own out towards nothing in particular as she sorted through coin and coffer. “Aye, a recent lad who, evidently, got his personal attention quick enough. Can’t blame him, the kid’s got more on his lap than most who cross in here, can’t blame him for getting roped into Cid’s plan.” She was quiet then, gossip never came for free - and it wasn’t a topic that Aramis himself often indulged in.

Though, as payment passed from her hand to his, the gravelled rumble of his voice spoke in one last question; as if trying to quell the feeling that itched at the back of his skull. “…Who?”

Her eye sparkled with an elder’s mischief, cocking a brow as her posture shifted to once more take a pause to smoke, before replying with that same teasing tone. “Why, you interested in helping us out then?”

A scoffed frown was his reply, turning from the conversation without hesitation as he ever did; to leave back to the solitude of a fugitive’s hunt-

“Clive Rosfield.”

The weight against his prosthetic leg stilted with an audible click as the man stopped, pausing to take a breath before glancing back over his shoulder - looking for a game in her expression, but he knew better than to hope for that. Lady Charon never lied. She was smug of course, tapping out the smoke at the edge of a bowl to clear the ash as her quiet hum rose to meet his thoughts. It was a name he’d only known from a lifetime ago - a protector as he, to a charge just as cherished - fleeting in their few meetings, but such a valiant heart was impossible to forget.

“He’s alive?” A whisper he’d not meant to speak. Charon only nodded, motioning outward towards where Cid’s office lay.

“That he is, why, does that weigh your scales to helping us?” She knew his unsaid burden.

Dark rubies drifted down as his fingers grazed to steel, tapping that one solid lifeline as a grounding while his mind sorted through the sudden upheaval. Anger. That was the first reaction. A violent wrath that set his teeth on edge; the reminder of her, of the demoness who’d set it all in motion - but that was not him, that was not the son’s blame to hold.

As easy as it would be.

But… would that slighted child not eventually return to the mother? A dark thought, perhaps one of falsified reasons to ‘do the right thing’ - to combat the isolation that pulled as a siren, begging him to leave.

With a deep inhale, and slow exhale, Aramis’s forefinger stilled from it’s muted tapping, only a handful of heartbeats from the original question Lady Charon had posed; and, turning on his heel, the man moved with purpose towards Cid’s chambers, a pace set quick as to negate any chance for that comforting solitude to tempt him away.

His knuckles against the door locked out any chance for him to change his mind.

Second, the per-floor limit is 100% hypno’s fault. His last run in his previous video had a potential to bank 32 frost embers without counting the artifact, all on easy difficulty, if only he triggered two of his cards in time. He was in vc with Tango at the time and Tango was already talking about how it would be fixed. Hypno is the reason for this, it’s entirely his fault. (Maybe Etho a bit too, I’m just too invested in Hypno runs)

oh, i know hypno is involved in this one! however, the fix tango has for HYPNO is that he wanted to nerf reckless charge. etho is the one who was talking about building a deck to specifically farm treasure on level one in order to run infinite runs, and is the actual reason tango has put in a cap, as far as i'm aware; it helps that etho, er, actually LIVES when he tries these things, whereas hypno tends... not to. (i also love hypno's runs. he has a tendency to get what would be wild amounts of embers if he didn't die horribly before he could get them home, so his aggro deck is balanced via the means of 'his clank is too high to use it'.) hypno trying to farm level 1 is also probably somewhat involved, it's just that i think tango thinks etho's the only one who would actually try that hard to cheese it. also, judging by the values he was suggesting, i actually think hypno's 32 ember level one run may have actually still been possible after this change? idk.
