I love the concept of energy vampires. Evie piques my curiosity a lot mainly because all of the other energy vampires we've seen are all borers. Evie drains people by making them pity her which is pretty unique! I wonder if she started off as a borer but branched out, found emotions to feed from that were more to her taste?

I think this is a possibility because in season 2, Colin mentions that he's starting to use humor as a form of energy draining and then by season 5 he's constantly using shitty jokes to drain energy (alongside his usual borer/irritation tactics)

so ive been watching élite mainly for iván because i saw him in blood and water and needed more. season 5 was pretty good, iván x patrick literally ate up.

but starting season 6 and the show is just immediately way worse ? all of the original cast is gone and the only ones i care about are iván and patrick, but i already know how their story ends (spoiled) so its like. ok.

im really sad now that all i have of this guy is this show. i wish he was from blood and water and stayed there lowk. i could watch more of andré's stuff but he won't be IVÁN yk.

Thoughts on #Elite7

I finished up Elite S7 and I have some thoughts with some gifs. 🥹

Positives:

Rocio got story and screentime. 🎉 I hated seeing her chase after Bilal's worthless ass in S6 cause he didn't even like her & constantly disrespected her yet as soon as he found out her fam is rich, he started singing a different tune. Rocio didn't get as much as I wanted in terms of screentime but enough that she got famliy drama with her mom's illicit activities + romantic drama with Eric. Nico's cousin Eric showed up this season and he's got issues. Rocio & Eric had good chem (much more chem IMO that he has with Chloe) in their attraction to each other.

Eric messes up more than a few times with her yet how he treats her shows care and actual feelings, not just sexual desire. What Elite was building up with Rocio & Eric was love as opposed to what he had with Chloe, which was vices + sex. Sadly, I think this romance with Eric & Rocio will only exist in S7, which is unfortunate with all that good chem and decent build up. 😮‍💨

2) The surprise appearance of Fiks from Blood and Water! I didn't know about the crossover so it was good to see her. I know Ivan will be in S4 of Blood and Water.

3) I like the crew of Nico, Eric, & Rocio. They have a nice vibe together, good times and bad times, I would say more of this in S8 but I've read that Rocio won't be in S8 so I'll have to enjoy the beginnings of a solid crew that I got in S7 since I'm about to get nothing in S8. I thought the scenes with Nico & his cousin re: Eric's mental health issues were absorbing too. Eric wanted to do better but hated how he felt being on meds. As his uncle said, it's about figuring out the right cocktail to help him with the highs and lows but Eric struggled with patience in that because of the side effects.

4) I adore Ivan so I was glad to see him on the mend from the accident. He's still heartbroken over Patrick's exit and the death of Cruz so much of S7 is him trying to move past his grief. He does that in the form of Joel which is in the next section.

Neutral / Indifferent:

1) Omar / Joel / Ivan... I've already admitted I adore Ivan but for full disclosure, I'm BIG on Patrivan so anything else for them with anyone else was always going to be an uphill battle. I also do not like Omar ever since he cheated with Malik and didn't even apologize to Nadia about it. All this said... I didn't hate this story. I thought it was interesting to show Omar's depression from what happened to Samu but the show spent a little bit too much time with all the back and forth in this story. Joel is alright and his chem with both guys is fine. I just wasn't invested in this triangle and all the angst but it's not a bad story. Dalmar is MVP in it.

2) Chloe and Carmen: I wanted Ivan's mother to show up and Carmen did. She also brought along Ivan's half-sister (to which I need to do some age checking cause pregnancies take time!) named Chloe. Carmen is a golddigger and it made sense why Cruz paid her to stay away from Ivan. That doesn't mean that Ivan didn't have a moment where he got to know his mother a little TOO well. ahem. The drama here with Ivan's new family had potential and was messy but I... didn't care for Chloe's everything is sbout sex story, especially with Eric but also with Raul. All it did was make me roll my eyes a lot in annoyance. The strong-arming that Chloe was irresistible / sexy got tired quickly, especially when she was walking around in her school uniform with her bra out as sign of that "sexiness." Come on!

3) All things Didac, Isadora, and their families: a lot going on and a lot of it didn't move me. Didac & Isadora are fine together so that wasn't the issue for me. The Romeo + Juliet story with the warring families didn't quite work for me. Took up lots of screentime too.

What did work? The hottie undercover cop. That was some nice eye candy.

4) Sonia & Nico... I wanted to see more of them after the S6 drama with Ari and they got shafted in terms of story + screentime toghether, particularly after Nico schtupped Chloe.

Negatives:

1) All things Sara and Raul.

I've hated these two characters since they both showed up in S6 but someone has a hard-on for them in the writers room, particularly Sara. I skipped over many of their scenes with each other and with others. Raul won't be in S8. I wish Sara wasn't as well but she'll be their stinking up things. 🗑️

i haven't had the chance to properly freak out here over the patrivan clip released by the official elite account, but y'all, it was everything, wasn't it? patrick was so taken aback by ivan, and honestly, so was i. the way ivan referred to himself as patrick's boyfriend, the touch to patrick's lip to interrupt his nervous rambling, the public kiss like ivan couldn't care less what people think anymore, walking hand in hand to let patrick know he wasn't alone 🥹.

they drive me nuts, and it's only the teaser. i love how the season promos started with a glimpse of how sexy they were going to be, then gave us the flip side where they were just two idiots figuring a real relationship out. it won't always be rainbows and roses, that's for sure, but for the love of god, let them walk out of season 6 blissfully together.

I didn't see anyone talk about her, but we're getting Tomoe as a new villain in S6, right? as Gabriel's source of power was twofold--the butterfly miraculous and being part of the Parisian elite--it'd only make sense that both of his roles find a successor. we know Lila took the butterfly and is going to be present as a major antagonist, but she doesn't have the same financial means and resources Gabriel did (the ones she herself exploited, like the police robots).

Tomoe does. and whatever it might be she wanted out of her collaboration with Gabriel, at the end of S5 she didn't get it. I doubt a minor inconvenience, like his death, is going to stand in her way to try to get what she wanted all along.

Oh Elite. S4 wasn’t good. S5 actively made me angry. I actually liked s6. S7 and 8 were very eh and I have no memory of what really happened. But s1-3? The og Elite? That show changed my life. I’m not even kidding.

World Building Pt 2: Timeline

So I've done some calculations based on characters B-days and the shows dates and this is the timeline for the fic I've come up with. The years represent when these things take place in the world as I believe each season takes up roughly a year. Reminder I accept any feedback and ideas offered <3.

We are gonna start off with the first of the series which is: Lab Rats S1. The first season takes place in 2012, and it is quickly followed by LR S2 and The Thundermans S1 in 2013.

Mighty Med S1, Thundermans S2, Henry Danger S1 and LR S3 take place in 2014. This is also when Bionics are revealed to the world(if you read World Building pt1 you'll remember that Bionics are completely different than superpowers, but the general populations reaction to the Bionics sets up for the Supers reveal).

2015 is when shit starts heating up. Not only do we have Lab Rats S4 and Mighty Med S2(Mighty Med vs Lab Rats), but we also have Thundermans S3 and Henry Danger S2(Danger vs Thunder). 2015 is also when Supers are revealed to the world(chaos ensues).

In 2016 we deal with the fallout of the reveal with MM S3, Thundermans S4 and Henry Danger S3(theres a lot less drama for them because I firmly believe that the citizens of Swellview are kinda funky and already knew. It was kinda an open secret for them). I have some ideas on MM S3 but more suggestions are welcome. My current ideas are:

Kaz and Oliver discover their powers and try to adapt to them

The world panics over the existence of Supers and the Supers PR team was NOT prepped for this

Rodissius, got heavily injured during a battle and was evacuated to the Mighty Med Hospital. Oliver and Kaz managed to keep him alive, but they had to extract his powers, making him powerless. 

Bridget/Mr. Terror gets imprisoned and her empire dismantled

Mighty Med Hospital gets destroyed :(

2017 is HD S4 and Lab Rats: Elite Force S1(don't worry I will fix it)

2018 brings us HD S5 and LR:EF S2. My current ideas for this are(not in any order):

Citywide war between Bionics/Supers and Shifters. This also includes outside conflict with the EF team and the rest of the Super community

Rodissius and his children eventually get defeated and imprisoned

Power Vacuum and Crimewave ensue due to the citywide war

The Island Crew(Adam, Leo, Marcus(yes he's alive and got a redemption arc), and Daniel) show up every now and again as the training has slowed down. 

In 2019 we have Elite Force S3(I don't have solid plans for this yet I just know I want it to happen), Henry Danger S6(Team Danger adapting to life in Dystopia), and The Thundermans Return(yes its the movie but better).

2020-2024 is mostly the New Gen of Supers with Danger Force and Villains of Valley View taking center stage. We will obviously still be getting cameos and content on what the rest are up to but the Kiddos need their time to shine.

I've never considered Didac before, but hey, you have a point and this might actually be useful in season 7. I also believe they're going to try and convince Ivan that it was Patrick. But Patrick didn't leave before Didac, I don't think, so he can't use that. He was actually the last to leave between him and his sisters. Ari left drunk and Mencia followed when she spotted Patrick's coat by the front desk, and took his car key.

There is a good amount of time gap between this scene and when he was seen next: cradling a run-over Ivan outside of the club. Didac was "escorted out" by Isa's mom's guard after the scene in this gif, and he too, went off screen, right? So, where was Patrick all this time if he didn't leave? Rocio and Nico looked around for him, too, so did they find him or what? We never got to see that. Where was Didac?

But if he was upset, I think he was in the bathroom all this time. And maybe Didac saw him there (to change out of his server uniform after he was fired, I guess), spoke to him and stuff. Maybe, even Rocio and Nico could vouch for Patrick (if they did find him). Maybe they told him about Ari's drunken ass, and Mencia trying to go after her.

Maybe after he got his coat back from the front desk, he noticed his key gone, hurried out and saw Ivan.

You know, this made me think maybe Patrick left at the end of the season with a nagging suspicion that his sisters knew something. What with Ari adamant to skip town, and especially Mencia's sudden 180 and testifying to get their dad out of prison.

Anyway, one way or another, it is going to be an emotional and heartbreaking season for Ivan, losing an important person after another. Until the writers magically make him forget Patrick's existence and shove him to the next available hot guy, ofc.

This moment will surely be crucial information in S7. It is made very clear that Dídac saw Patrick leave and that Patrick left before Dídac.

It makes me wonder if Iván *is* going to be led to believe that (or someone is going to try to convince him) that it was Patrick that ran over. Since it was Patrick's car and Patrick was upset someone* could be pointing the finger at Patrick (*Sara and Raúl?).

Dídac would be able to exonerate Patrick.

Do you think if the plot had gone differently, like maybe some of the other wealthy elites started making magical power grabs or had already been doing so before Gabriel started fighting teenagers, that figures like Tomoe, Andre & Audrey could have served as villains in their own right?

Or possibly even supplanted Hawk Moth?

Its mostly Gabriel rambling about Audrey being super evil when she turns up and her seeming to know about the temple that makes me think of it. Though Tomoe being only a marginally more reasonable Gabriel style parent could also play into it. & well, the only thing that undercuts Andre's potential for villain is that he didn't seem that competent even if he was corrupt as hell.

I suppose? They might be trying to save the adults for S6-8 because Lila by herself is not an interesting villain at this point. The more time I spend pondering it for writing, the more ML feels like a 3 season show that is being extruded well beyond functionality.

Final thoughts on season 6 despite my better judgment

Okay so this piece of shit has a few good things in it so we'll start with that. It's going to be a very short list, so it won't take too long before we get into the meat and potatoes

Things I liked about S6:

Icy's, Darcy's, and Stormy's dynamic in this season is actually peek. After s5 I was extremely hesitant to see how these three would be written, but it's actually great! They are extremely sibling towards each other, and the way they bully each other after failures is super cute

While I don't like the fashion in this season, tying it all back to Stella's love of fashion and having her passion come though is really cute and makes me wish that the winx were allowed to pursue their interests independently

The Legendarum in concept. I like the idea of stories in a book being animated with magic and going into pocket dimensions. I just like that, it was a fun way to immediately get into a new set piece

The dark witch forms. They had a very Salem energy that I absolutely loved

The specialists new outfits. They are finally wearing armor, Godspeed

The specialist's new weapons. They have weapons that can be relevant in a fight, they're not, but like they could be. Tbh they're already using magic weapons, having magic effects on the weapons was a long time coming

Miele. She's cute and she gets to be a badass and save Flora and be saved by Flora they are so cute 🥺🥰

How Flora got her Bloomix. Is it derivative of s3? Yes, this entire season is a worse season 3 except they don't have the balls to do anything half as cool as the Enchantix sacrifice. Is it cute to see Flora save Miele without her powers??? Yes!

Getting to see other magic schools do indeed exist, that was definitely fun

How the Musa/Riven arc ended. Like literally just the final episode of it where Riven left. That's the only good part of that arc and BOY IS IT GOOD. S4 gave me poisoning and this episode fixed it. Riven fear of not being able to help Musa against enemies, and him doing introspection without being smacked into it (I'm looking at you s3-4, he can do it on his own) is everything to me

Diaspro not being plot integral this season thank God, s5 was enough late season Diaspro. She's the fairy of the dragon flame, therefore fire is good for her was also a hysterical ass line

The trix disguising themselves as freshmen and going on trips with the Winx was funny, though why the fuck were they're only there freshmen I hate it here

Selina poisoning Flora has got to be the Selina and Bloom highlight, very cunning on Selina's end, and Blooms look of horror was peek

The vampires are really funny, but the zombie pirates were hilarious

The fun way they twirl the mythix wands sometimes, mythix can get so silly sometimes and it's super cute

Aisha and Nebula, they are so cute

Tecna and Timmy's fun raft adventure

Helia struggling with Flora's evil plants

Riven howling like a wolf, now bark like a dog boy

The werewolf fight in general was funny and entertaining

Icy vs Flora was emotional and action packed and very good! I loved that nature itself helped Flora recover

The elite girlies of CT fighting eachother and training was always cute

Timmy impressing Tecna's parents was cute

Stormy going mad with power in the Legendarum as Frankenstein's bride

Musa getting voice spells

Things I disliked about S6:

Daphne was characterized so badly here. She's nothing. She might as well have been sleeping beauty of the winx world and her personality would have been the same. There's absolutely no hint of the all powerful Nymph that's literally chiseled into the walls of buildings to commemorate her achievements. Now she's just clumsy, not as strong as the Winx, and is good at history. That's nothing. You could literally replace her with an entirely different character in this season and that would probably make more sense

Special mention to how Daphne is condescended in the beginning of this season. Why'd they do that to her

The beast of the depths. You literally made that one up for this season. It's very obvious that none of this was planned ahead of time nor are they even pretending that they give a shit about the timeline. Set it on fire.

The parties. The parties. The parties. Oh my god the parties. Anytime literally anything happens there's a completely useless party attached to it. Instead of developing literally ANY of the EXTREMELY underdeveloped subplots, they write in two billion fucking parties. I am tired

The fashion in this season is ugly, out of character, and has zero personality. Like. I feel like they were dressed by an AI, fucking randomly generated ass outfits. Terrible layering, over use of colors, and it's like they're always wearing outfits in the same fashion line. They never look like they own their own damn clothes, everything they wear is matching. It's like there's a hive mind, while yes I appreciate the incorporation of Stella's desire to be a fashion designer having them never wear their own clothes just makes them feel flat, like they don't exist outside of eachother

The pixies were more redundant and annoying than ever

Cloud tower being taken over in s1 was cool, it was meh in s3, and it's just plain boring and nothing in s6. Stop doing this over and over again I stopped caring the second time. "Oh well this time we'll make the school flying AND invisible." I hate you

The Legendarum as it was written. I swear to God it could have just been called the plot device machine, it just does whatever the writers want it to do

I just realized how did the pixies survive in the Legendarum that long???? Griffin literally flip flops her morals in this season again too, are you okay with tormenting sentient creatures or not please pick one

Why on earth did the witches of Cloud Tower support the Trix???? Why make witches in this show even more one dimensional. As well as the Trix's elite students weren't even memorable, this was more interesting when s3 did it with the mind controlled witches because they had to find why they were acting like that

Okay I should probably say something more on Nex and Thoren. Thoren is literally a nothing character and the only thing we'd lose if he was removed is Sky being a bit pissy, Diaspro manipulating him specifically and not like... Nex or Roy or whatever. Nex is like. A bitch. He acts like s1 Riven but with less self esteem and paranoia issues. Like Riven is a self absorbed asshole who hates himself and who had an arc realizing that punishing everyone away was bad and that he needed to learn to trust, Nex is just a self obsessed asshole with a desire to embarrass and put people down, even being willing to actually injure them over stupid ass contests. Even when being manipulated by Darcy Riven was never that aggressive, he mostly just gossiped and did dragon fighting. Nex is literally a more dickish, aggressive, self obsessed, competitive, and uncaring, Riven. And you want to convince me that AISHA, AISHA "who said you were driving?" WOULD PUT UP WITH THAT SHIT ARE YOU KIDDING ME????

Literally everyone and their mom can steal powers in this season, it's so fucking easy it means nothing

Remember how in s2 there was a large amount of focus on the not Bloom main character because the main characters of Winx were the WINX CLUB and not Bloom, remember how s3 had a lot of focus on the not Bloom characters. S6 wants you to remember that Bloom is the most important specialest baby in the world and doesn't care that there's other main characters. Fuck narrative balance and giving the cast a chance to shine outside of Bloom I guess, Bloomix is a thing

How literally everyone got their Bloomix power except Flora. Triple back flip I'm going to hurl

What stated the Riven/Musa arc this season, like at the beginning he's just dismissive and overly competitive, it's only towards the end he says hes doing this because he wants to be able to help Musa. They should have written him like that the entire time

How quickly they rushed everyone getting their Bloomix, it was giving me charmix flashbacks

Bloom getting her Bloomix last in her own episode is trying to be s3 so bad. Okay Nick writers please sit down. That was so good and impactful because Bloom didn't have a home planet, this time Bloom should have gotten Bloomix first and you could have done something with Aisha's magic rejecting the dragon flame or something. Stop trying to be s3

Thoren/Daphne is underdeveloped, Riven(/Musa) is underdeveloped, Roy v Nex is under developed, Selina is underdeveloped, these are all season long arcs and they suck ass. Please, spend more time on your subplots over PARTIES

Allowing the pixies to have combat spells midagated how annoying and intolerable they are but it was also extremely weird. No Piff cannot attack people your making that up

Why is everything important in gardina?? The winx world conspires to make Bloom the only narratively relevant one

The extremely annoying amount of "Wow!" "Cool!" "Awesome!" The girls do constantly

Eldora can summon counter myths to fight the Legendarum, she does this once and never again

The entire mother's day thing, like they didn't do anything interesting with it, got rid of the day of the rose, and did another stupid party

The mythix wands, they are about as thin as paper, they're excessively pink, and why do they already match the Winx that makes no sense

The way the Winx need to keep proving themselves, like you can bring in conflict other ways. I would love to see a choosey artifact just once be like "oh the winx, go ahead ma'am's" that would be so funny

The 3d in this season is so ugly and I hate everything to do with it. Mythix is extremely ugly and bland and WHY ARE THERE SO MANY FLOWERS ITS SO FLOWERY I HATE IT

The time limit on the Legendarum world only exists for fake stakes, the pixies were in there for how long??

The spell "friendship flame" Bloom just being allowed to make people Faries makes me irrationally angry

The two things used to make the Legendarum key are so arbitrary it pains me

Magic just came back to earth but everyone is acting like it's been around forever

Stella being stupid and self centered again. Like Stella was full of herself but she was also usually aware of people's feelings and only accidentally hurt people by not thinking, she also is the glue that holds Winx together!!! She's the one who gets them all together!!!! You don't get it!!! She'd never act like that she does have a brain!!!

God I hate the entire thing around Stella being queen for a day except how Stella looked in a crown, it was all awful

The music cafe was nonsensical and stupid and I STILL DON'T KNOW HOW IT WAS SUPPOSED TO PROTECT ALFEA

Ok obviously Ámbar caused me some sort of awakening and I was VERY PLEASED to see her actress in Elite afterwards...

But tbh, another female character that caused me an awakening was Sharon. Idk, it's those tight dresses she wears where *nothing* is hidden... there was some scene where she was walking up the stairs and I was just... mm, idk. It did something to me.

Yeah you know that is valid! And I recall there was this scene in S3 where Sharon was just wearing this black supertight dress and I was like "ooh...", so I get where you're coming from lmao.

Also anon I legit only watched S5 and S6 of Elite just because of Valentina and then I couldn't watch S1-4 because it was weird to not have her there
