Dear Holly,

Thank you kindly for attending the premiere of my new movie, Envy and Etiquette. It is an adaptation of the Regency romance story of the same name, and the first in which I have earned the romantic lead, as Miss Ward had turned down the role. I admit that playing the love interest of a man does sometimes make me long for love again, though I know that no one could compare to Héctor. No matter, for it is simply a role to play and Vito Ferraro is a gentleman about it.

The children are doing fine, it seems, and I miss the time I cannot spend with them, though I do enjoy working. Salvador is a good kid, with decent grades and a bright mind, and he has been using his creativity to work on a science project when he isn't drawing or helping in the garden. And Gloria has already made friends with the girl in the building next to ours, Betsy Giordano, whose father, Art, owns the restaurant that Héc worked at all those years ago. I am glad they are adjusting well to life without a father, as painful as it is.

One of the most original time-travel thrillers since 12 Monkeys. A brilliant subversion of the Time Paradox trope, with enough plot twists to keep you entertained until well after the movie is finished. Predestination is an amazing movie with great performances from Ethan Hawke and Sarah Snook. It’s a movie that will feel like Inception, when it comes to messing with your mind and barely anyone has heard of it. It is highly underrated and unknown, sadly.

A zombie virus breaks out and catches up with a father as he is taking his daughter from Seoul to Busan, South Korea’s second-largest city. Watch them trying to survive to reach their destination, a purported safe zone.

The acting is spot-on; the set pieces are particularly well choreographed. You’ll care about the characters. You’ll feel for the father as he struggles to keep his humanity in the bleakest of scenarios.

It’s a refreshingly thrilling disaster movie, a perfect specimen of the genre.

Serenity is a futuristic sci-fi film that serves as a feature-length continuation of the story-line from the TV program Firefly (2002–2003). The story revolves around the captain (Nathan Fillion) and crew of the titular space vessel that operate as space outlaws, running cargo and smuggling missions throughout the galaxy. They take on a mysterious young psychic girl and her brother, the girl carrying secrets detrimental to the intergalactic government, and soon find themselves being hunted by a nefarious assassin (Chiwetel Ejiofor). However, when at a tele-marketing job an old-timer tells him to use a “white voice”, he starts moving up the ranks of his bizarre society. A really smart movie that will be mostly enjoyed by those who watch it for its entertaining value, and not so much for its commentary. It is like a Black Mirror episode stretched into a movie.

Ex Machina is the directorial debut of Alex Garland, the writer of 28 Days Later (and 28 Weeks Later). It tells the story of Caleb (Domhnall Gleeson from About Time), an IT developer who is invited by a billionaire CEO to participate in a groundbreaking experiment — administering a Turing test to a humanoid robot called Ava (Alicia Vikander). Meeting the robot with feelings of superiority at first, questions of trust and ethics soon collide with the protagonist’s personal views. While this dazzling film does not rely on them, the visual effects and the overall look-feel of Ex Machina are absolutely stunning and were rightly picked for an Academy Award. This is possibly as close to Kubrick as anyone got in the 21st century. Ex Machina is clever, thrilling, and packed with engaging ideas.

All families came to the ceremony: Tavares, Pancakes and  Giordanos. Paxton, Betsy’s twin brother, was so excited and happy to see his sister again. He lives a few meters from us but he never visits. Eh, it’s still a touchy subject.

The guests scattered everywhere and the ceremony wouldn’t start until a couple of hours. Fabiola thought it was a good opportunity to take a nappy on a bench (girl I-), and Elise went to bake the cake. Uh, she got distracted by her own poor choices. Get👏your👏act👏 together👏ma’am👏 

Livi knew how to take advantage of the lack of parental supervision and hit the bar. Kid, you’re still underage. No.

The end of the war in Europe— V.E. Day, as it came to be known— was bittersweet for Alexandrea as she had lost her husband to the war, and he was just one of hundreds of thousands of American casualties. Though the Allies had defeated Germany, the war still continued in the Pacific Theatre, but now it seemed the end was finally in sight. Los Angeles was abuzz with the promise of a homecoming for many soldiers' families and friends, with people celebrating in the streets. Alexandrea took Salvador and Gloria to watch a parade as they waved American flags.

Later that afternoon, once the parades had passed by, Alexandrea took the children to visit Héctor at the cemetery, dressed in black. She could not help but feel he was with them, underneath them, holding up the ground they knelt on, just as he had upheld his country's honor.

Where you should purchase a bunny

You have decided a rabbit is the right pet for you, now it is time to purchase your furry friend. Regardless of which option you may choose to adopt your rabbit, never buy a rabbit from a pet store. Pet stores receive their rabbits from mass-breeding organizations which often are abusive to the rabbits.

Rescuing

Rabbit rescues and shelters are located all over the United States. It is always encouraged to adopt a rabbit from a shelter because you are saving that bunny’s life by giving it a forever home. Here is a link to locate a shelter local to you.

There are also private rabbit adoption agencies where knowledgeable owners often have volunteers to foster bunnies. Before adopting from a private rescue group, it is important to do your own research of the organization and know about policies they may have.

In the Gainesville, Florida area, I highly recommend adopting from Gainesville Rabbit Rescue. I adopted Bean from the Gainesville Rabbit Rescue and now am fostering Zolie. I have had a great experience with this organization. I discovered Gainesville Rabbit Rescue through Petfinder.com which is also a great tool to find bunnies up for adoption in the local area.

Gainesville Rabbit Rescue is a non-profit organization with a mission to save rabbits no matter what illness or situation they may be in. Kathy Finelli is the director of Gainesville Rabbit Rescue and in an interview, she mentioned that despite their rescue’s name, their mission is to save any rabbit across the state of Florida.

When buying from a breeder, it is important to identify that they are a reputable breeder. A reputable breeder should be involved in every sale, meet the family before selling, and overall, really care for the rabbit they are selling to you.

A good way to find a reputable breeder would be through referrals from a veterinarian or trusted friends. You should always visit the breeder before buying the rabbit to know the kind of care the rabbits are in.

New addition to the family!

Art and Elise’s divorce concluded, ad they split the custody of their children: Betsy and Paxton. Betsy chose to stay with mom, so our ladies decided to host a small welcome party for her! She’s a charm :D

Also yes, Fabi is pregnanate! She couldn’t hold her wish back anymore. Seems like there’s a baby fever in the neighborhood, because Eliza has a bun in the oven too! Their new maternity is bringing the families closer~
