WIP Sneak Peak- Untitled Juliet/Zylros (OCs)

His breath hitched. It was barely audible against her shoulder. His glasses shifted on his face as he gripped at her shirt, holding it tightly in his hands. She watched with bated breath, trying to appear calm as he scrubbed his nose against her sleeve, attempting to rid himself of the intense itch. She could see an angry pink color on his nostrils, which matched the flush on his face.

She tried to reassure herself it was fine, and that she could remain calm. This was normal, she was normal. She just needed to keep a straight face. That was becoming quite difficult, however, as it became increasingly obvious that whatever was irritating him wasn't dying down. She could feel him tensing and heard the way his lungs filled with air. The inhale was shaky, punctuated with a weak “hheuhh–” sound when his voice slipped into the breath.

It would have been one thing if this had been the two of them just sitting together studying. She had heard him sneeze plenty of times, and always tried her best to banish the thought of it from her head. However, having him here was another thing entirely, as he sat beneath her with her on his lap. His shirt was half undone, his hair out of place and her neck still warm from his lips. She was already too worked up. 

As Zylros lurched forward, she simultaneously enjoyed and detested the fact that he had not had the time to turn his head to his elbow. He still clutched at her shirt as he sneezed, face pressed against the spot where her neck met her shoulder. She felt the force of it, a slight spray against her skin, and as the sound of it echoed in her ears she couldn't help but whine. Reflexively, she pressed her thighs together, biting her lip and attempting to keep herself quiet. She didn't want him knowing just yet how much he was affecting her.

She heard him sniffle, and he pulled off of her, face red with embarrassment and nose pink from the itch. She could tell he was absolutely mortified with the fact that he had sneezed on her, as most normal people would find that disgusting. 

“S-sorry, I-I, uhh. That was gross, I-I just, uh, I-I couldn't pull a-away, and, uh- I-I think I may be slightly a-allergic to your perfume o-or something.” He stammered, frantically trying to apologize. She was sure that was the case; the perfume she wore that day was scented like rose and hibiscus, which he was most certainly sensitive to. It was only when he had started sniffling a few minutes before that she remembered the way he had reacted when they took that trip to the botanical garden for botany class. That day had been… interesting, to say the least.

She knew the appropriate thing to do in that circumstance was to try and reassure him, or to be polite and give him a tissue or something. Instead, she found herself at a loss for words, unable to make her mouth move. She remained silent, far too focused on calming her heartbeat and the blood rushing below her waist to reply. She kept her thighs squeezed together, avoiding eye contact with him. Zylros raised an eyebrow.

“Are you alright?” He asked reflexively, concerned that he had upset her. He didn't think she was a germaphobe, but maybe this was different. “Did I gross you out? I-I'm sorry.”

Juliet quickly shook her head. She didn't want him to think she was angry at him. 

“N-no, it's fine.” She answered. Her voice was small and squeaky- more so than usual. He found this odd, combined with the way she squirmed and shifted in his lap. She normally only did so on the rare occasion where he would tease her, so it was certainly out of place.

“Are you sure-? You seem, uh-” He paused to wipe his face, concerned about mess. “Tense.”

“I-I’m fine. Let's just, uh, keep going.“ She replied, brushing him off. He couldn't help but wonder why she was being so dismissive. Normally she explained how she felt when she was upset. 

Looking over her, and better examining her reactions, it dawned on him after a beat. She wasn't upset. She was turned on. Still, even after he ruined the moment, she was worked up and fidgeting. Hell, she was doing it more than she had been beforehand, as if he had touched her or said something dirty. What could have spurred her on? He wasn't sure, but based on clues, he had a working theory. One that was almost humorous.

“Are you aroused?”

Alright yall! I decided I'm gonna start posting abt my characters so I'm gonna start my with one of my favorite gorls.

A small disclaimer: All of my OCs are actually my friend's and I's DnD characters, used with permission. Some details may be a little confusing as I've taken their standard backstories and modified them to fit a modern fantasy setting. I'll list the class for anyone curious, but it won't come into much use unless they're a spellcaster.

Basic Description: Juliet is a short, pear shaped woman with green eyes, heavy amounts of freckles and red hair. She is thin in her upper body and doesn't have a lot of muscle, and carries the majority of her weight in her hips, stomach and thighs. She wears generally preppy sort of clothes, tending towards purples, muted jewel tones and browns. Her hair is cut a few inches past her chin, and is often worn back in a small bun to keep it out of her sight. She wears thin-rimmed round glasses and an arcane focus necklace. She wears minimal makeup, and when she does it's usually concealer, mascara and blush only.

Background: Juliet is the middle child of a very large family. Her parents and siblings are remarkably athletic, though aren't very bright (read as: her family is all barbarians). She, oddly enough, ended up much smaller in stature and physically weaker, though she still inherited the same fiery temper. Her siblings were quite protective over her, as she has asthma, isn't very strong, and has autism, but as she grew older and developed an aptitude for the arcane, they soon learned she could easily get by without them. She remains close with her whole family, particularly her brother, Caspian.

Personality: Juliet is anxious and a little neurotic at times, but has an intense passion for her work that allows her to talk at length despite her nerves. Aside from her research, she spends most of her time reading smut trashy romance novels, noir mystery, and manga. She's kind of an aggressive weeb. She's often dense and overthinks every social interaction, and only has one close friend she's known since childhood. She's easily angered, and while she isn't cruel she often blows up at the people who upset her. She's a hopeless romantic and oftentimes hypersexual, though she tries her best to hide it. She's very inexperienced in matters of love, however. She doesn't go out much and prefers to stay inside and enjoy quiet time with her books and some coffee.

Snz Info: Her immune system isn't very strong, but because of her asthma it affects her lungs more when she's sick. She's allergic to dust and feathers. She has very pitchy, breathy sneezes that are relatively quiet, though terribly messy. She stifles more often than not.
