Most people probably think of Lin-Manuel Miranda as the Hamilton guy, but personally I know him as the ‘Silent E is a Ninja guy’.
The first time I ever saw him was in an episode of the Electric Company where he sang a song about silent e. I had no idea who he was, so he was just the “Silent E is a Ninja” guy to me.
Years later, Hamilton became very popular and I was like OH MY GOD, ITS SILENT E IS A NINJA GUY!

What’s really funny to me is where I’m from, Kenergy is an electrical utility company.
So every time I hear someone around here mention Kenergy in reference to the company, I forget the company even exists and I imagine Ken in his black outfit with the lightning streaks and the white sneakers.

R.I.P. Irene Cara
No words could make someone my age feel so old or so heartbroken as: Irene Cara: Dead at 63. It was just announced, no cause has been released. I’ve contemplated tributes to her here before, as we’ve had already had occasion to mention her here serveral times. Her start was very old school — she appeared as a kid on Ted Mack’s Amateur Hour. She was in the kids’ band on The Electric Company. And…

I understand it's like, his job as an actor, but the fact that I've seen Josh Segarra in over 4 different shows and was shocked that it was HIM everytime because the characters were so different (physically, the way he speaks, how he dresses, even how he walks) is just so impressive and never ceases to amaze me!!!

BHOC: AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #186
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #186 represented something of a turning point for the character, as new writer Marv Wolfman began charting out the direction he wanted to take the wall-crawler’s life in next. Last issue saw Peter Parker graduate from college, which seemed monumental for a series so associated with that environment, and now he was ready to move forward into the next phase of his life. On the…
