☆Various Idol AU ideas before I fall asleep☆

The story centers around a long-running tournament/exhibition for idols, somewhat inspired by Love Live. The competition has many events, some solo, some in pairs, and some in groups. There’s a cash prize, but also major exposure and a chance to get signed by a label

Some competitors:

- Greaseball is a former child star who doesn’t really care about being an idol in particular, and just likes being famous. They feel superior to other idols because they have so much experience

- Electra is a mildly spoiled nepo baby who has experience, but in a different “circuit” than the others

- Rusty is 19 and performing for the first time, which is considered “too old” to start out as an idol (especially by Greaseball)

- Momma is a retired idol from 1980s who re-enters the competition to prove that talent and passion matter more than age. After she wins but looses her voice due to lack of practice she implores Rusty to take her place

-Ashley and Buffy are senior idols close to graduation

-Belle and Tassita are younger than Pearl and Dinah and are being trained by Ashley and Buffy

-C.B. is technically a performer but actually makes most of his money by sabotaging the competition for others. No one really knows how he learned the inner workings of performance technology, but they’ll still take advantage of it

-Slick might be here, I haven’t decided yet. Maybe she’ll be C.B.’s evil cat who he just lets loose on set to wreak havoc

Apparently my first post of 2025 is that I finished drawing Electra!
