It’s no surprise that with the formation of the Division Rap Battles by the Japanese Government (also known as Chuohku), many teams have been formed either through coercion or by their own volition, with those teams come many high profile people or very prolific celebrities both old and young. As such, a betting ring was formed, by who? Well, no one knows, it could be from criminals to politicians to random civilians to even other contestants in the very same tournament, all that matters is that every person in the Division Rap Battles has a bounty on their head, this is a list of how much they’re apparently worth.

Akira carefully led Eijiro forwards. Things… Things were going to be okay after all…

Home was safe.

Home was loud, but not angry.

Home suddenly didn't expect anything of him. Not even taking care of Eijiro.

They were bringing home some groceries. He insisted they go. Even though Mr. and Mrs. Masuda hadn't really wanted them to, but Eijiro needed to get some space, he was having trouble adjusting, but he'd get used to it. Things would be-

Akira stopped.

He felt like they were being watched again…

He pulled Eijiro along more quickly. He-

There was a man in a red hoodie watching them. Akira forced Eijiro to go faster.

Eijiro stumbled, "a-a-!"

Akira pulled him up, and kept going. He didn't pay attention to where they were going, rushing through the next few cross walks that were safe to cross.

They were still being followed. He could still feel the cold gaze on his back, "nuh-nii… nii sluh-slow down!"

They just needed to get away. They needed to get back home-

Where were they?

Akira glanced around in a panic. He had no idea where they were, "… nii..?"

"itth okay, eijiro."

"nuh-niiiiii"

Eijiro sounded like he was going to cry. Akira turned around, "what ei-"

Eijiro hiccupped, he looked at Akira with his large eyes, scared and confused, and the man in the red jacket had a grip on the back of his overalls, "ji..?"

Akira didn't know what to do. He couldn't let Eijiro go to try and fight, what if this lunatic ran off with him?

What if he-

He did.

He pressed the knife to Eijiro's neck.

"Just keep walking, Akira," he urged, "I just want to talk to you, nothing more."

Akira wanted to run, he wanted out, this was not going to be a talk. Eijiro let out a tiny whimper. He looked at Akira for what to do.

"eiji. eiji itth going to be okay."

"Yeah. It will. You just need to come with me, okay?"

Akira nodded. He swallowed. He nodded.

"That's a good boy… Just…"

Akira shivered at the man's tone.

"Just down that alley over there…"

Akira stiffly followed the order, "… what.. what…"

"Shhh… All in good time…"

"let. let eijiro go."

No answer. What was this guy after? Money?

He shoved Eijiro back towards Akira once they were all down the alley.

Akira scooped him up. Eijiro curled up. He was crying…

Tighter hug…

Akira shushed him gently, "itth okay… itth okay…"

It was-

The man in the red jacket took out his knife.

He also took out a trash bag.

-NOT OKAY!

Akira froze.

No.

No.

No.

The man stepped closer.

If he let Eijiro go..?

No… No, it'd never work… He'd get stopped before he could get by…

Maybe he could get away in the chaos?

Akira watched the man take another step.

His stomach dropped. He.

He started crying. He buried his face against Eijiro.

The man chuckled, "Don't worry… It's only going to hurt… A laaaaAAAAAAAAAAAA-!"

"-AKIRA!"

Akira shakily looked up. Mr. Masuda had the hoodie guy lifted up over him. Mr. Masuda saw how scared Akira was and chucked the man into the wall. He splattered into several snakes.

Iwao.

Iwao hadn't expected that.

He let the snakes get away. The boys were-

Eijiro was struggling to get loose, but Akira had a tight grip on him.

"nuh-nii. nii let guh-go! buh-before it gets away!"

It took a little effort, but Iwao managed to pick them both up. He was… Almost disappointed.

They'd been… He'd hoped he and Mitsu would get a shot at raising them better…
