Update on the SSC goon squad/Lich situation

I'd like to reassure this account's followers that I returned (mostly) safe and sound from the joint Ranger Corps/@officialunionhr operation.

Me and [REDACTED] managed to chat a while over a spot of tea before they went off to discuss the handling of the captured operatives with HUC command.

Also, @horus-unofficial was absolutely right: it is super funny when a smug designer baby in a Death's Head realizes you just retconned their perfectly lined up killshot.

Experiencing time non-linearly is also a very intresting experience I thought was exclusive to Memorial Morphs. Honestly I think this spooky boy might be used more for enlightenment than combat. Also for testing if the reactors of reclaimed mecha are still safe; it's going to be way faster if you can just come back from dying of meltdown instead of having to run dozens of test procedures.

Aniway, we should be returning to our usual business of promoting the HRA catalogue. Up next is a closer look at the SnapDragon disposable missile silo.

i dont recognize a lot of your advertisements from the base game, are you making them up or is it a homebrew supplement, and if it is a homebrew supplement, which one?

[OOC] most of what I post about comes from the No room for a Wallflower supplement. Both the Steelpunch and Snapdragon are pieces of Exotic Equipment form that module.

To put it succintly, the Hercinian United Cities are a hybrid civilization of Humans and Egregorians (intelligent insects with a collective memory). The person writing this posts is an Egregorian most of the time, but not always.

I came up with the idea that after the Good Ending of the supplement, several of them formed a company (Hercynian Refurbished Armaments) whose objective is financing the reconstruction of their war-torn planet by refurbishing and selling the boatload of abandoned military equipment they're practically drowning in; which is the equipment and frames introduced in the module.

Some people who follow me might know that I've SEVERELY gotten into Lancer. It's not what I usually post on this blog, but here's some commissions I've gotten of my pilots. As is tradition, they're done by the absolute GOAT @kiqoseven-art.

The first is Franklyn and her NHP partner Kit. She's a Gorgon pilot who's tried retiring and taking up a life of interstellar transport ship captain, but won't hesitate to saddle up if it means keeping her crew safe. Kit is mischief incarnate and takes great pleasure in "playing with their food" by manipulating as many electronic systems they can pry their way into.

The second is Sullen, a Worldkiller pilot who is my PC for an in-progress Wallflower campaign. He is a salvager who got caught up in the situation unfolding on Hercynia's surface, and is really going through it right now. If you've read Wallflower, you know what this poor eg is dealing with.

The real issue isn't adapting the cockpit - some of our most experienced wrenchies can do the job in half an hour - the problem is learning to walk a bipedal mech when you're used to walking on four limbs.

If any of you reading has ever ridden a bycicle, then the feeling of trying to pedal for the first time is a good approximation of trying to adapt to walking on two legs.

I don't think I'll ever forget the sense of vertigo I felt the first time I tried to pilot a Genghis. Standing still already felt like I was precariously perched on a pole, and then they told me to take a step I had to stand on just one leg and let myself fall forward.

Would you please consider for a second a centaur mech pilot. Thank you for having that image in your head for a bit.

I mean the Egregorians are basically centaur-shaped and there are canonically mechs that have been designed or redesigned for them to pilot so it's entirely believable honestly
