i got a lot of super cool tech upgrades over the holidays and i'm very grateful and also feel like a king rn.
my dad got me a soundbar for christmas and it has two little surround speakers and a sub woofer which is super cool and movies and games sound awesome now but its also very paranoia inducing hearing things behind you.
also my bf got me a 2tb SSD, a cpu water cooler and i finally got around to picking up a RGB GPU support bracket so my gpu won't flop around anymore, and a wireless headset (super convenient) and i got myself a second monitor and a dual monitor arm! my setup feels very fancy and luxurious in a way i never thought i'd experience and its all very nice! 😊i will not be moving from this spot for the rest of the year

I'm being trained on how to make big cardboard cutouts at work, and it's actually a really fun job, but unfortunately it requires two computers. Which wouldn't be an issue except the way they chose to facilitate this was to set up two identical monitors side by side, with a single mouse and keyboard, and if you need to switch from one computer to the other (which you do, often), you have to double-tap Num Lock. Which would also be fine if it wasn't for the fact that this job requires typing so many numbers, which I'm obviously using the numpad for, so I'm not quite sure why they decided to make fucking around with the Num Lock key part of the job. And also the whole setup looks just like a normal two-monitor setup so sometimes I completely forget about all of that and just ram the cursor into the side of the monitor repeatedly, expecting it to pop out on the other one

AI images have such an uncanny feeling to it that I can't explain. There's nothing truly off with most of the images, they can look pretty fine and normal at times but there's still that feeling of it being off.
