My friend that was into the dsmp back then used to say to people that I named myself after technoblade's enderman pet, Edward, and I got so tried of it I full on changed my name (I went by Edward for 7 years prior to that). I told them that it was because I wanted a more ethnically accurate name for me but really it was the enderman.

i don't have an exact count for the number of dogs in the hound army but i know that around and on doomsday there were about 180! there could've been more that got left behind in the tunnels since it was so difficult to unsit them all but i'm pretty dang sure that 180 is a close number <- definitely gave up more than once

as for other pets:

carl: fourth fastest horse and the best

steve: emotional support polar bear

blitz: white fox. he has a sword. :)

andrew: technically the fastest horse

moon: a jerk skeleton with a jack'o lantern head

How do you think Techno would have reacted to a child Enderman hybrid Ranboo if he found him?

Probably wildly dependent on context. I'm assuming we're talking DSMP and not some kind of AU though even then it's going to depend on what 'era' of DSMP we're talking about here. Techno isn't the kind of person to harm random mobs (or kids) for no reason despite what the fandom sometimes portrays but I also don't know if he'd take Ranboo in. Maybe if he thinks Ranboo is a pet like Edward LMAO but if it's a full-on child I think Techno would just pawn him off on Phil or somebody else because he doesn't want to deal with it, as much as I love dadnoblade. Unless there's like, some kind of Reason (tm) he has to keep Ranboo and then gets attached-

🟢 despite jjba showing up a lot in submissions, duo dynamics were inconsistent. a bunch of characters were only submitted once. i tried to get jojo rep in there by putting the most submitted duo in the prelims but it ultimately didn't work im sorry 😭

🟣 i was surprised by the lack of killua and gon submissions, i guess bc killua might be more blue-coded. i mean they're still in there but they're placed lower than i expected at #22

C!Technoblade was the chaotic neutral Hagrid of the SMP.

Chaotic neutral because... Did you watch anything with him in it?

Hagrid because Steve the Polar Bear and Edward the Enderman and the Hound Army. Man had so many dangerous critters just chilling at his cabin.

Headcannon that they just... Gravitate toward him, like some kind of twisted Disney Princess. And it didn't just start with the DSMP either. No, he's always been like this. He'd go for a walk and come home with a giant spider or a skeleton or a bear and just be like 'it followed me home. Can I keep it?' And Phil would sigh and tell him no. There was a time a *freaking Warden* followed him home and Philza nearly went for a visit with Kristin. It was named Spooks and made the executive decision to make a home in a nearby cave system. Phil was not pleased.

When he left home, he realized Phil was at least 80% of his impulse control and now that he wasn't around to tell him no, he was spending a good amount of time building houses for his new friends.

He wasn't mad. They were good friends. Better than a lot of people.

Techno didn't know when the enderman's presence became a familiar one, but at this point he didn't care enough to think about it. What matters is that he's here now, and that Techno should be a good host.

The thing is Edward is very tall and the cabin is very small. Sometimes when Techno reaches for the brewing stand or moves toward a chest, he'll brush against him.

Which, was fine for Techno, he didn't mind. Edward on the other hand? Seemed to hate it. He would always teleport elsewhere and come back hours later cold and jumpy.

Techno has tried to be more aware of himself but there's only so much you can do when you're a hulking piglin in a house made for one.

Another thing he's noticed is that Edward seems to gravitate towards the fire. It might be the reason he keeps coming back. Techno has offered blankets and cloaks, but he doesn't seem to like them either.

Maybe he can put something by the fireplace, somewhere Edward can sit so no more accidents happen. He'd need to get nether wood, maybe gather some wool, and actually figure out how to make the damn thing. Well, Techno's in retirement, he's got time on his hands.

i went to my friend’s house and visited Edward (their enderman plushie that i initially dubbed as a burnt fetus when i first saw it and didnt know what minecraft was) ALSO I LEARNT THAT THEY DIDNT NAME THE PLUSHIE THEY JUST CALLED IT ENDERMAN PLUSHIE WHAT (im friends with a mad person its fine people are complicated BUT WDYM YOU DONT NAME YOUR PLUSHIES BECAUSE YOU DONT TALK TO THEM?? Accidental Homoeroticism

So I decided to go write back to the beginning of my og dsmp fic "The Five" and re-write its very first chapter, which is going well cause god do I find that the chapter goes way too fast and also is outdated in the way that I write now.

As well as this happening, I chose the decision to just move fanfiction sites to fanfiction.net cause oop zionist much ao3?? anyway.

back to the weird topic on hand. previously I had written like tiny homoeroticism into the story through Ross and Schlatt, which all came so unintentionally. I knew I wanted to full on go for it but I held back and it kinda is happening again. Like in the original version of The Five chapter 1, they, Ghostbur and Ross "come across", Techno's cabin cause Ross hears straight away ":0 Techno, omg i know that guy. omg I raised him wowie" and wants to see him. and as all things go, after a few knocks and no answers, Ross hears Edward's voice, a silly little enderman, in a boat (all things considered, really heavily following minecraft physics here). Then one two three, Edward is dead, woopdie doo.

But, this time. New version of the chapter and all, Edward, is alive and through that I decided a whole arc of him. Defection! Though before this he's just gonna be an absolute arse to him cause Astarans (purple eyed enderman in the original game), hate Traonak (green eyed enderman. Enderman used have green eyes in beta fun fact.), until he eventually starts to doubt. (Also big big thing, there could be a time where I just full on change names of places, cause I have big ideas toward that. dsmp is dead, people may not care for this series but I do because I really just do love this fic man.)

Through this event, I have unintentionally though becoming probably more intentional by the day, made an accidental homoerotic thing. Cause, every time I fucking write him, this maybe 7 foot tall Enderian towering over this short ass like 5'8 enderian, he has this weird nature to him, weird Astaran Elder type beat. I had the thought that all of them would be like this in order to fuckin lure a Traonak to their death, but nah. Edward is just unique like that. Flirting with Ross for no reason, caressing his face whilst Ross's hatred grows, having to take his hand in order to Group teleport them closer to where the Doomsday crew are.

not to be a hateposter in 2023, but i honestly don’t get the argument that Michael_B’s being neglected because cbeeduo don’t spend enough onscreen time with him.

The ccs were constrained by minecraft mechanics (they couldn’t let Michael_B out of the attic or else he’d pathfind away and die, there’s only so much parent role play you can do with something that can’t respond or take intentional actions, they have other elements of their story to tell and don’t want to make every moment onscreen tending to a being that can’t eat, sleep, or communicate) Like obviously if that’s the interpretation you want to go with go with it but be consistent. Ranboo’s a horrible pet owner because he never feeds his cats and killed Johnald. By this logic, everyone on the Smp is a horrible neglectful pet owner who often bring their pets into danger. Edward the Enderman was being held against their will because endermen physically cannot get out of boats. Fundy drags his child around with a lead and keeps him tied to a post. Foolish keeps his children stuffed in his inventory or in chests. A common gesture of affection and greeting is punching people.
