Tumblr media
The historical development of farm clipart has evolved significantly over time, reflecting changes in artistic styles, technological advancements, and cultural influences. Initially, farm clipart consisted of simplistic and rudimentary drawings of basic farm elements such as barns, animals, and crops. As graphic design tools and techniques advanced, farm clipart became more detailed and realistic, capturing the essence of farm life with greater precision and creativity. With the rise of digital platforms and online marketplaces, farm clipart has become more accessible and diverse, offering a wide range of options for designers and creators to incorporate farm-related visuals into their projects. The evolution of farm clipart mirrors the evolution of farming practices and the agricultural industry, showcasing the deep connection between art, technology, and cultural representation in visual storytelling.
Similarly, the evolution of history clipart has followed a trajectory of innovation and adaptation to changing artistic styles and educational trends. Historically, history clipart primarily featured iconic historical figures, landmarks, and events depicted in a simplistic and educational manner. As digital platforms and educational resources developed, history clipart expanded to include a broader range of topics, styles, and visual interpretations. Modern history clipart encompasses a diverse array of historical themes, from ancient civilizations to contemporary global events, catering to the varied needs of educators, students, and enthusiasts. The evolution of history clipart reflects society's evolving interest in history, visual literacy, and the power of imagery to convey complex historical narratives in a compelling and informative way.
The trends in food clipart styles have undergone a transformation in response to changing culinary preferences, design aesthetics, and cultural influences. Initially, food clipart featured traditional depictions of common food items such as fruits, vegetables, and dishes in a realistic and straightforward manner. However, as culinary diversity and visual storytelling evolved, food clipart began to incorporate more stylized, artistic, and thematic elements to convey the richness and diversity of global cuisines. From minimalist food illustrations to vibrant and whimsical food compositions, the trends in food clipart styles reflect the fusion of creativity, technology, and culinary appreciation in visual design. By exploring different food clipart styles, designers and content creators can enhance their projects with visually appealing and culturally resonant food imagery that engages and inspires audiences.

Sometimes an artist just wants to do art for arts sake! Not every depiction of a dinosaur is meant to educate about paleonthology! "But if children see those, they will think this is how they where" No. Children are not stupid. And they will not for some reason believe a random artpiece over what they see in their beloved books specifically on dinosaurs. Kids are able to distinguish between a random dinosaur clipart ( even if it looks realistic), and a scientifically faithful one! A kid, seeing a piece by Dali will not suddenly believe that this is what Elephants look like
Tumblr media
Paleonthology, especially the twitter and popular-paleonthologist side, would profit greatly from accepting that Sometimes! An art is just that! An art! Aint that deep bro! Let people draw what they want! And stop gatekeeping your precious british gentlemansclub!

I'm trying to figure out how to set up some kind of commissions to survive. Would anyone be interested in Mohawk lesson downloads? Tattoo, art, clipart, or graphics? Hell, I'm an educated published writer. I'll research, edit, and fucking WRITE your papers for grocery and gas money.

As ever, I'll remind artists worried with the potential loss of their craft that skill isn't just something a computer can replicate. I'll once again remind the flame-fanning alarmists of the heady days of Clipart, ready-made and disposable art chiefly designed to be used in presentations, and of how its distribution via CD-ROM was also seen as the potential destruction of one of the several buisness pipelines for artists. The same exact talking points were used - Clipart deskills, disempowers and replaces the value of bespoke corporate art - only for Clipart CDs to become regular bargain bin staples and for entire duty-free imagebanks to be later baked into Microsoft Works.
Clipart never replaced artists. It never could. That was never its purpose. Those occasional cases of prompt users winning artist fairs are actually symptomatic of another problem entirely, which the general public's lack of art-related education. Midjourney, Stable Diffusion and others could never successfully replace artists - all you need to see to grasp that is how even requesting for RAW photo data results in composition errors and the occasional remaining error in anatomical design. Image generation is over a decade old by now, and it still can't render human hands without some margin of error.
AI Art is today what ClipArt was in my youth. It'll be forever the bastion of people who weren't going to commission you anyway and who likely would have stolen their way to "free" visual content through other means.
If representation and attribution matters, you should instead ask that image generation programs subscribe to attribution programs that allow for the tech's use under ethical considerations.
As let's face it, there's no putting the genie back in the bottle. I'm running a business related to automotive marketing, and if you knew how many shitty Midjourney-based webpage designs my sales reps toss my way on a monthly basis, you'd tear your hair out. All I ever do is look for what it is they're attempting to suggest, couch it down verbally and then pass that on to our Web Design team if it has any merit.

Microsoft PowerPoint 2021: Latest Features, Uses, and Benefits
Tumblr media
Microsoft PowerPoint 2021 is a program that is included in the Microsoft Office suite. It is used to create presentations for personal and business purposes.
In this article, we will discuss the functions and features of PowerPoint presentations in detail, followed by some sample questions based on this topic for upcoming competitive exams.
To know more about the various programs under Microsoft Office, visit the linked article.
Below are some important things to know about the development and introduction of Microsoft PowerPoint:
This program was created by Robert Gaskins and Dennis Austin at a software company called Forethought, Inc.
PowerPoint presentations consisting of slides and other features are also known as PPT.
Many other features were added to PowerPoint, which led to a huge increase in the need and use of this MS Office program.
From the examination point of view, MS PowerPoint is a very important subject. Candidates who are preparing for various government exams can visit the computer knowledge page to get the list of topics covered in the syllabus and prepare themselves accordingly.
Features of Microsoft PowerPoint 2021
There are many features available in MS PowerPoint that can customize and optimize a presentation. The same is discussed below.
Slide Layouts
There are many options and layouts available based on which a presentation can be created. This option is available under the “Home” section and one can choose from the many layout options given.
The image given below shows the various slide layout options that are available for use:
Insert – Clipart, Video, Audio, etc.
Under the “Insert” category, there are many options available where one can choose which feature he wants to insert in his presentation. This can include images, audio, video, headers, footers, symbols, shapes, etc.
Slide Design
MS PowerPoint has various themes using which background colors and designs or textures can be added to the slides. This makes the presentation more colorful and attracts the attention of people viewing it.
This feature can be added using the “Design” category mentioned on the homepage of MS PowerPoint 2021. Though there are existing design templates available, if one wants to add any new texture or color, the option to customize the design is also available. Apart from this, the slide designs can also be downloaded online.
Animation
During a slide show, slides appear on the screen one after the other. If a person wants to add some animation to the way the slides are presented, he or she can refer to the “Animation” category.
Use of PowerPoint 2021 Presentation
PowerPoint presentations are useful for both personal and professional use. Below are some of the major areas where PPT is extremely useful:
Education – Today e-learning and smart classes are being chosen as a common mode of education, PowerPoint 2021 presentations can help in making education more interactive and attracting students towards a revised version of the study
Marketing – In the field of marketing, PowerPoint 2021 presentations can be extremely important. By using graphs and charts, numbers can be shown more clearly and clearly, which the audience may ignore when reading.
Business – To invite investors or to show an increase or decrease in profits, MS PowerPoint can be used
Resume Making – Digital resumes can be created using MS PowerPoint. Different patterns, pictures, etc. can be added to the resume.
Showing Growth – Since both graphics and text can be added to the presentation, it is simple to show the growth of a company, business, student marks, etc. using Powerpoint 2021.
Benefits of PowerPoint 2021
Microsoft PowerPoint is an easy-to-use program and a powerful tool for giving presentations. Whether your presentation needs a visual kick, tools for collaboration, easy accessibility, or the ability to share information beyond the initial meeting, PowerPoint 2021 is a good choice. It can also help reduce speaking anxiety by drawing eyes away from the speaker and toward the screen. Just don't expect this technique to replace sound and dynamic speaking skills.
Visual Effects
Making your presentation more interesting through the use of multimedia can help improve the audience's attention. PowerPoint allows you to use images, audio, and video to make a greater visual impact. These visual and audio cues can also help the presenter be more improvisational and interactive with the audience. However, try not to overly rely on these sources as your message can get lost in the clutter.
Collaboration
PowerPoint allows you to work collaboratively with other people. This is especially useful in an office setting where teamwork is important. Several people can collaborate on and contribute to a presentation.
Sharing Content
Share your PowerPoint presentation with the world. Did someone miss your presentation? Ask them to watch it online at a time that's convenient for them. You can upload your presentation to websites like YouTube, including all the slides, commentary, and transitions included in your work. All you have to do is go to "File," "Save & Send" and "Create Video."
Flexibility
PowerPoint can be used in many different effective ways to communicate with your audience. The slides are completely customizable to suit your needs. Depending on your approach, you may want a presentation that is text-heavy, image-heavy, or some combination of the two. Text-heavy presentations are usually good if you are lecturing to a group in your company and want them to take notes. Image-heavy presentations can help you make your presentation more conversational in style because it only contains visual cues. Combining both methods gives the audience the benefits of both visual aids and notes.
Reading Sequence for Screen Readers
To help visually impaired people read more comfortably, Microsoft has introduced Screen Reading Sequence. Visually impaired people usually use screen readers to read and understand the content. If the slides of the presentation are logically arranged using a screen reader, these users can understand the content more efficiently.
Record Slide Show
With this new feature, if you record a slide show presentation, the video of the presenter will also be recorded. In addition, ink and laser points will also be recorded. However, recording a PowerPoint presentation will require a webcam, microphone, speakers, and sound card. After completing the recording, you can save it as a slideshow, or you can save it as a presentation.
Rehash Ink Strokes
Another new feature of PowerPoint 2021 will be really helpful for illustration. Also, there is an option to pause and start from where you want to start the replay. This new Replay option can be established on the Draw tab.
Stock Videos
Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint will get access to Microsoft Cloud's store of stock icons, videos, images, illustrations, stickers, etc.
Overall, these new options can help people perform more efficiently using the new PowerPoint tools, as it has been added to enhance the performance and creativity of users.
Apart from the existing features in Microsoft PowerPoint, which is now a part of Microsoft Office, some new features have been added in PowerPoint 2021. The new features include changing the reading order for more accessibility and recording presenter videos. Explore the newly added features and new features of Microsoft PowerPoint 2021 via SoftwareDiscountUSA and purchase it now.

Graffiti Genetics: Why Your DNA Needs a Mural and CRISPR Needs a Spray Can (Because Science Should Look Cool Too)
Alright, sit down and prepare to have your mind blown by what I’m about to say: Street art. Yeah, you know, graffiti—those elaborate doodles on the walls of abandoned buildings, subway cars, and the occasional Taco Bell bathroom door—could, in fact, be the next frontier of science education. But no, I’m not talking about the kind where someone draws a caricature of Elon Musk riding a cyberpunk dragon. I mean real science education. Like CRISPR. Like DNA sequencing. Like that time Spider-Man mutated into some sort of web-slinging man-spider hybrid. Except we’re making it look even cooler with spray cans, and, spoiler alert: nobody’s turning into a bug.
So, why street art? Why not boring PowerPoints with bad clipart or yet another TikTok dance that somehow “explains” quantum physics? BECAUSE, that’s why. Because street art speaks to the people, and by “people,” I mean the folks who wander around cities wondering why the sidewalks smell like regret and three-day-old tacos.
Let me paint you a picture, metaphorically of course, because the last time I picked up a spray can I nearly gassed myself. Imagine walking down the street, and bam!—you see a massive mural of a double helix, except it’s like, glitching. As if Banksy and Charles Darwin had a baby and that baby was high on Red Bull. That’s what street art could do for genetics: it’s loud, it’s rebellious, and most importantly—it’s impossible to ignore. You can scroll past an infographic, but good luck walking past a twenty-foot mural of a CRISPR kit shredding through a strand of DNA like it’s tearing into a double cheeseburger. The question here isn’t “Why street art?” The real question is, “Why haven’t we done this sooner?”
Now, I can already hear you thinking—because your brain screams louder than a 3 AM infomercial—"Wait, but doesn’t graffiti mostly communicate, like, angst and ‘I hate the government’ messages?” Wow. What an astute observation, Gold Star for you. Yes, graffiti does traditionally tackle political and social themes, but I’m sorry to break it to you, science is political. Oh, you thought genetic modification wasn’t controversial? That CRISPR wasn’t debated by people who probably think "gene editing" means blocking someone on Instagram? Please, we need to inject genetic engineering into the same conversations that graffiti has dominated for decades. It’s 2024, and if Banksy isn’t using his spray paint to genetically enhance a tomato, are we even progressing as a society?
Street art, folks, is already in the business of communication. And what’s a more pressing message to get out there than, “Hey, here’s how to alter your DNA to make your cat have wings?” Okay, maybe not that, but real genetic modification is so much cooler than what you’re imagining. CRISPR isn’t just some sci-fi jargon—it’s a real tool that scientists use to, you know, edit genes, like Photoshop, but for your DNA. And let me tell you, nothing says "public engagement" like spray painting “Hey, wanna grow a third arm? Let’s talk CRISPR!” on the side of a McDonald’s dumpster. Because if you want to get a conversation going, you need the boldness of graffiti, not some stodgy research paper buried in a journal nobody’s reading except your high school biology teacher.
Now, picture this: a massive street art installation where the base image is a giant strand of DNA, and each part of the mural represents different genetic modifications we could achieve with CRISPR technology. Over here, you’ve got cells that are glowing in the dark, like something out of a bad ‘90s sci-fi flick. Over there, you’ve got a CRISPR-edited cow that gives lactose-free milk that tastes like cotton candy. Why not throw in a gene-edited hamster that knows how to do your taxes? The mural’s evolving, constantly. It’s public, it’s interactive, and it makes people stop and think, “Wow, maybe that cow could save me from paying for almond milk.”
Think of it like this: Street art makes genetics sexy. And let’s be real, genetic modification has the PR of a soggy toaster at the moment. People either think it’s going to cure all diseases or it’s going to turn them into a half-human, half-zebra nightmare straight out of a TikTok conspiracy theory. And while half-human zebras are arguably hilarious, the real issue here is that nobody understands how accessible and—dare I say—simple genetic modification can be. We need to bring the lessons of genetics out of the lab and into the streets. Quite literally. Throw it up on the walls next to that giant mural of Cardi B, because that’s where the real conversations are happening. You think people are engaging in ethical debates about genetic cloning in stuffy boardrooms? Nope. They’re doing it in Instagram comment sections and weirdly aggressive Twitter threads. It’s time we meet the public where they are: right next to the Dunkin’ Donuts, snapping selfies with a graffiti clone of themselves.
And let’s talk about the ethics of it all. Because what’s graffiti without a little bit of controversy, am I right? Genetic modification and CRISPR come with all kinds of ethical questions, and what better way to get people to think about them than to literally make them part of the art? Imagine a mural where you’ve got a giant CRISPR-edited tomato, but as you walk past it, the image warps into a glowing-eyed, mutant fruit that looks like it’s ready to start an uprising. Below it, the words: “Would you eat this?” People will stop, people will think, people will immediately Google, “Is my food going to kill me?”
And boom! You’ve got a conversation started. That’s the power of street art. It doesn’t politely ask for your attention; it kicks down the door, takes over your Instagram feed, and forces you to contemplate whether we should be messing with the building blocks of life. This is science education with art, and it’s turning graffiti into the rebellious older sibling of the whiteboard presentation you fell asleep during in high school. You’re welcome, by the way.
Look, if you want people to care about science—really care—then you need to go where the people are, and that’s out in the streets. Street art has the power to make genetic modification feel accessible, immediate, and yes, kind of cool. Like, imagine a mural where Spider-Man, instead of being bitten by a radioactive spider, is tweaking his DNA with a CRISPR kit he bought off Etsy. It’s absurd, it’s hilarious, but it gets people thinking about genetics in a way that feels real. Not just in the abstract, “this could change your life one day” sense, but in the “wow, this might actually happen, and I’m kind of excited/terrified” sense.
So, to sum it all up before I pass out from sheer excitement: Graffiti and genetics are a match made in science-education heaven. It’s time to take CRISPR out of the lab and spray it all over the walls. We need to make gene editing as bold and in-your-face as a mural of a giant mutated hamster, and if that means you’re forced to contemplate your genetic makeup while standing next to a Taco Bell, then so be it. We’re not just teaching science; we’re living it—one spray-painted DNA strand at a time.
And if you don’t get that, well, I can’t help you.
