Thoughts on Twisters as an Oklahoman:

I’m guffawing at how Twisters makes it look like Oklahoma has 40 billion tornadoes a day that can just appear any moment

LOVE Daisy Edgar-Jones but her southern accent and tiny frame was not fooling anyone…like how did girl shut a truck door in the CENTER OF A TORNADO WITH WINDS LIKE 100 MPH

on the flip side, that one MIT bill hader looking mf is THE MOST Oklahoman guy I’ve ever seen — peak awkward lowkey hot slightly misogynistic Christian conservative white man

ppl r do wear cowboy hats but it’s usually middle aged-old white men

that being said, Glenn Powell sold it on the southern charm…I personally thought he carried the whole movie

the music was a little on the nose sometimes…like a little too generic country music…but I have listened to Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma on repeat for the past 2 weeks hehe

loved the shots of the open road and wheat fields etc —cuz it’s really like that sometimes

Jefftember Art day 10! wow we're still going are we? Todays prompt... POE I'd never seen The Black Cat so I had my first viewing in prep for it today and oh boy his performance in this was amazing... Not a side you often get to see this man act out. There were plenty of crimes against cats however... if you choose to watch this one be warned.

Also had a good time listening to the Nevermore audio while drawing this, I highly recommend. The performance becomes increasingly plastered throughout the runtime. Oh and there is rapping.
