Fun Grammar Lesson:  Nonetheless vs Nevertheless
Ever wonder the difference between Nonetheless vs Nevertheless, if you’d like to read more I’ve linked below where i got this direct quote but i think the simple and fun, modern lesson below it will help you be able to easily apply it to real world, nevertheless you may not forget it now. <3
- Nevertheless: means in spite of that. - Nonetheless: means in contrast to. - Nonetheless is used to indicate something that can be measurably quantified, while nevertheless is used in reference to a situation that either has, is or might occur - https://askanydifference.com/difference-between-nonetheless-and-nevertheless/  - https://grammarist.com/compound-words/nevertheless-vs-nonetheless/
Ex: Nonetheless
Namjoon said to Jimin, “Ya got no jams.” Then Jimin replied,” Nonetheless, Army thinks I have jams.”
(Here the jams are used as the
‘something that can be measurably quantified’
that we are saying and amount in contrast to. We can understand it better by breaking it off at just none or never to check. Seeing as
“Jimin has none”
sounds correct, whereas
 “you have never”
would be incorrect and sounds it. None means not one, that's another great way to remember and try in place of the word to indicate if it sounds right. Carrying this through the example to show this, it sounds fine to say
“Jimin, you have not one (or a single) jam.”
How Jimin contrasts this is by confirming that, while the facts are that Namjoon says he has none, with the word
 ‘nonetheless’,
in the same breath (word) Jimin is saying Namjoon is indicating that Namjoons’ measurement/amount/number of jams that he says he has is none. But, contrasts this fact by saying,
in spite
of Namjoon feeling that true, Army thinks the opposite, indicating he has some (at least in others opinion-based measurements.))
______________________
Ex: Nevertheless
Henry said he’d take us on a nice, scenic walk. Nevertheless, he failed to mention it’d end with murdering his longtime friend.
(A good rule for this word is to replace it with ‘however’ to see if it sounds right. So, let's give that a try with the example,
“Henry said he’d take us on a nice, scenic walk. However, he failed to mention it’d end with murdering his longtime friend.”
Yup, sounds right! We’re contrasting the idea of this event occurring as was stated. While the event is did happen it was contrary to what was told to them. Henry said the walk would be a nice, scenic walk, which wasn’t entirely true. We indicate this in the word ‘nonetheless’.)
I hope this helps and was fun for you! <3 Keep staying curious and learning a bit of something new every day! <3

Frogs
1 The Lord said to Moses, ‘Go to Pharaoh and say to him, “This is the message from the Lord: Let my people go so that they may worship me. 2 If you refuse to let them go, I will send thousands of frogs to bring trouble to your whole country. 3 The Nile river will be full of frogs. The frogs will go into your house. They will jump into your bed. They will go into the houses of your servants. They will go into the houses of your people. They will jump into your ovens and into your dishes. 4 The frogs will jump all over you. They will jump on your people and on all your servants.” ’
5 Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Say to Aaron, “Take your stick in your hand. Then raise your hand over the rivers, the streams and the pools. You will cause frogs to come up over the whole of Egypt.” ’
6 So Aaron lifted up his hand over the water of Egypt. Then the frogs came up and they covered the whole of Egypt.
7 But the magicians used their magic to do the same thing. They also made frogs come up on the land of Egypt.
8 Then Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron to come to him. He said, ‘Pray to the Lord. Ask him to remove the frogs from me and from my people. Then I will let your people go. They can offer sacrifices to the Lord.’
9 Moses said to Pharaoh, ‘I will let you choose the time when I should pray to God. Then I will ask God to do this for you, for your servants and for your people. I will ask God to remove the frogs from you and from all your houses. The frogs will remain only in the Nile river.’
10 Pharaoh said, ‘Do it tomorrow.’ Moses answered, ‘I will do what you have asked. Then you will know that there is nobody like the Lord our God. 11 The frogs will go away from you and your houses. They will go away from your servants and your people. They will remain only in the river.’
12 So Moses and Aaron left Pharaoh. Then Moses prayed to the Lord about the frogs that he had brought to punish Pharaoh. 13 And the Lord did what Moses asked. The frogs in the houses, in the yards and in the fields all died. 14 The people swept the frogs together to make big heaps. There was a very bad smell over the whole country. 15 But when Pharaoh saw that the trouble had gone, his mind became hard again. He refused to listen to Moses and Aaron. The Lord had said that this would happen, and it did!
Gnats
16 Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Say to Aaron, “Lift up your stick and hit the dirt on the ground. It will become gnats in the whole land of Egypt.” ’
17 Moses and Aaron obeyed God. Aaron lifted up his hand and he hit the dirt with his stick. The dirt became gnats that flew onto all the people and onto all the animals. The dirt on the ground became gnats all over Egypt. 18 Then the Egyptian magicians tried to use their magic to make gnats appear. But they could not do it. The gnats were on all the people and on all the animals.
19 Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, ‘This is the work of God.’ But there was no change in Pharaoh's thoughts. He would not listen to them. The Lord had said that this would happen, and it did!
Flies
20 Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Get up early in the morning. Meet Pharaoh when he goes out to the river. Then say to him, “The Lord says: You must let my people go. Let them go to worship me. 21 If you do not let my people go, I will send thousands of flies on you. I will send them on your servants and on your people. I will send them into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians will be full of flies. The flies will cover all the ground where people live.
22 But it will be different in the region of Goshen, where my people live. I will not send flies there. Then you will know that I, the Lord, am doing my work here in this land. 23 I will make a difference between my people and your people. This miracle will happen tomorrow.” ’
24 That is what the Lord did. Great numbers of flies came into Pharaoh's house and into his servants' houses. The flies went all over Egypt and they destroyed the whole land.
25 Then Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron to come to him. He said to them, ‘Go! You can offer sacrifices to your God here, in Egypt.’ 26 But Moses said, ‘It would not be right to do that. The Egyptians do not like our sacrifices of animals. If we offer these sacrifices to the Lord our God, the Egyptians will be angry with us. They will throw stones at us to kill us. 27 So we must go on a journey for three days into the desert. We will offer sacrifices to the Lord our God there, as he has told us to do.’
28 So Pharaoh said, ‘I will let you go. You may go into the desert and offer sacrifices to the Lord your God there. But do not go very far away. And pray for me too.’
29 Then Moses said, ‘I will leave you now, and I will pray to the Lord. Tomorrow, all the flies will go away from you, your officers and your people. But be careful! Do not deceive us, as you did before. You must really let the people go away to offer sacrifices to the Lord.’
30 So Moses left Pharaoh and he prayed to the Lord. 31 The Lord did what Moses asked him. All the flies left Pharaoh, his officers and his people. Not one fly remained! 32 But again, Pharaoh's mind became hard. He refused to let the people go. — Exodus 8 | EasyEnglish Bible (EASY) EasyEnglish Bible Copyright © MissionAssist 2019 - Charitable Incorporated Organisation 1162807. All rights reserved. Notes: Exodus 8 is an important chapter in the story of the Exodus, as it shows how God displays His glory and justice through the plagues, and how He makes a distinction between His people and the Egyptians. It also shows how Pharaoh resists God's will, and how his heart is hardened by his own sin and by God's judgment.

WHY THE BLESSING OR LIFTING?
"I HAVE SEEN that FOOLS may be SUCCESSFUL for the MOMENT, BUT THEN COMES SUDDEN DISASTER." Job 5:3 (NLT)
Tumblr media
Someone who was once a follower of Jesus Christ, devoted to God, who forsook Him, might not experience a sudden change or crash in his or her finances; but the consequences of the decision to quit serving God would later be seen.
Whoever turns from God exposes himself or herself to the attacks of the devil. If what you had condemned to be bad in the past is what you are now doing, the devil is being given the opportunity in your life.
You cannot deceive God. If after you had been blessed by God, suddenly turned your back against Him, the flow of the blessings would not continue—you had broken from the Source.
Dryness is inevitable in whatever you are doing, when you think you can do or stand without God. You cannot use God and abandon Him! Nothing works without God!
Fallen is a must or inevitable for whoever once be with God in a relationship, but turned away, his or her back, against God.
The rising of a believer, both spiritually and materially, is by God's help. Thus, If you allowed your little success to become another god, you are heading towards a destruction.
Note: Some talk about rising and falling in blessings. The truth is, when God blesses you, He does not withdraw or take back whatever He has given or promised to give to you.
Many believers, and even ministers, failed or disappointed God in the area of commitments. God tests the commitment of whoever He blesses, even with that same blessing He has blessed the person with.
Whatever you received from God as a blessing would be used as a test or yardstick to measure your commitment to Him. God would want to know your faithfulness after you had been lifted or blessed by Him.
Do not leave God when you are lifted materially. Neither should you Allow your blessings or success to douse your zeal for Him and His Kingdom.
A place for God's Word in your heart, and communion with Him, are the secrets for continuous success—perpetuity of your blessings.
A believer's blessing is sustained and perpetuated through his or her Services in Jesus' church—God's Kingdom on the earth. Services in God's Kingdom on Earth is all about serving His interest.
Acknowledge God always in all you do. Attribute the glory of your success to Him. Give all the glory to God!
If this is done, the Acknowledging, you would keep rising. If you think you are wise and refused to Acknowledge God, and wanted to prove that what you have is by your making; your wisdom might be made or turned foolishness: "HE TRAPS THE WISE IN THEIR OWN CLEVERNESS SO THEIR CUNNING SCHEMES ARE THWARTED" (Job 5:13 NLT).
"DO NOT THINK THAT YOU ARE ALREADY WISE ENOUGH. OBEY THE LORD AND REFUSE TO DO EVIL THINGS." Proverbs 3:7 (EasyEnglish Bible)
"LIVE IN HARMONY WITH ONE ANOTHER; DO NOT BE HAUGHTY (snobbish, high-minded, exclusive), BUT READILY ADJUST YOURSELF TO [people, things] AND GIVE YOURSELVES TO HUMBLE TASKS. NEVER OVERESTIMATE YOURSELF OR BE WISE IN YOUR OWN CONCEITS." Romans 12:16 (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition)
"WORK HAPPILY TOGETHER. DON'T TRY TO ACT BIG. DON'T TRY TO GET INTO THE GOOD GRACES OF IMPORTANT PEOPLE, but enjoy the company of ordinary folks. AND DON'T THINK YOU KNOW IT ALL!" Romans 12:16 (the Living Bible)
Why are you craving for abundance?
Any Blessing that would make you lose your focus on God should be avoided. Nothing matters to God like the salvation of your soul (Matthew 16:26).
The person of you, your soul, not perishing is much more important to God than whatever you can acquire in life. Thus, a person's soul is said in the Bible to be more than having or gaining the whole world (Matthew 16:26; Mark 8:36; Luke 9:25). a. Do not be carried away with your success or blessing (1 Timothy 6:17). b. Do not focus on your rising but how you can please God.
Your blessing or success or greatness should not be your priority but the pleasing of God: 17 TEACH THOSE WHO ARE RICH IN THIS WORLD NOT TO BE PROUD AND NOT TO TRUST IN THEIR MONEY, WHICH IS SO UNRELIABLE. THEIR TRUST SHOULD BE IN GOD, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. 18 TELL THEM TO USE THEIR MONEY TO DO GOOD. THEY SHOULD BE RICH IN GOOD WORKS AND GENEROUS TO THOSE IN NEED, ALWAYS BEING READY TO SHARE WITH OTHERS. 19 BY DOING THIS THEY WILL BE STORING UP THEIR TREASURE AS A GOOD FOUNDATION FOR THE FUTURE SO THAT THEY MAY EXPERIENCE TRUE LIFE" (1 Timothy 6:17-19 NLT).
Whoever is born-again should live to please God and not the self: "HE [Jesus] DIED FOR EVERYONE SO THAT THOSE WHO RECEIVE HIS NEW LIFE WILL NO LONGER LIVE FOR THEMSELVES. INSTEAD, THEY WILL LIVE FOR CHRIST, WHO DIED AND WAS RAISED FOR THEM" (2 Corinthians 5:15 NLT). READ: 1 Peter 4:1,2
Believers in Christ Jesus live to please God. But If a professed believer's life is no longer pleasing God, giving satisfaction and pleasure to Him, such a person is on his or her way down—about to go down or fall.
Thus, you should strive that the life you live is pleasing to God; give Joy and satisfaction to Him. God should not a cause to regret over your life, after He has lifted you to higher Honour: "AND SAMUEL went no more to see Saul until the day of his death. Nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul, AND THE LORD REGRETTED THAT HE HAD MADE SAUL KING OVER ISRAEL" (1 Samuel 15:35 NKJV).
Your lifting should not be a sorrow to God. If your life is making God sorrowful, you had become a Curse instead of blessing.
If God started regretting over a believer's life, It means the person has finished. He or she supposed to run to the cross and repent, ask for mercy, that he or she might not be condemned with the world (1 Corinthians 11:31,32).
If you noticed that the Blessing of God in your life is becoming a curse, take a step on how to get back into the communion or fellowship with God—that which you had lost.
Do these to avoid falling away from the Grace; or to keep your communion or fellowship with God: a. Keep abreast or alongside with all the good things, the spiritual principles, you started with that led to your lifting in God. b. Be careful or circumspect of the people you cultivated their friendship—the relationship you keep, the people you allowed or permitted in your life, when the lifting came. c. Do not allow pride because It goes before a Fall: "PRIDE GOES BEFORE DESTRUCTION, AND A HAUGHTY SPIRIT BEFORE A FALL" (Proverbs 16:18 NKJV). BEING prideful or haughty of what you have could lead to destruction: "BUT HE [God] gives us more and more strength to stand against all such evil longings. As the Scripture says, GOD GIVES STRENGTH TO THE HUMBLE BUT SETS HIMSELF AGAINST THE PROUD AND HAUGHTY" (James 4:6 the Living Bible). d. Avoid greed and be generous with whatever God has blessed you with: "BUT DO NOT FORGET TO DO GOOD AND TO SHARE, FOR WITH SUCH SACRIFICES GOD IS WELL PLEASED" (Hebrews 13:16 NKJV)
You will not fail in Jesus' name.
Whatever is contrary to your health is rebuked and uprooted completely in Jesus' name.
I declare your healing, deliverance from the oppression of sicknesses, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Peace.
STEPS TO SALVATION
Take notice of this: IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15). a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20). b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10). c. Ask that He will write your name in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
If you took the steps As highlighted above, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!

Be thankful to the Almighty God
By the way, we should always remind ourselves to be thankful to our Almighty God, for allowing us to experience all the things we experienced, regardless favorable or not, positive or not, pleasant or not, or whatever it was, for we would have not known the difference between good and bad, “learned”something from the experience, used that learning to better ourselves and become who we are now and or will be,in the future.
Perhaps, we may still bear or have attached negative feelings from previous occurrences or past events, where people may have done something against our favor, or they might have stopped indulging us, or never did, which we then seemed to think we’ve been betrayed, victimized, and or oppressed. The entire personal experience, can be true and realistic, or purely imaginary. But then again, that is not the point, isn’t it?
As a continuous process, I did rationalized and I felt the questions are not about whether the experience was rough or smooth, or at that moment, was beneficial or favorable to us.
Rather, how we endured and survived? Resilience. What did we learn? Awareness. How can we use that learning to better ourselves, help the family and others? As a tool. How can we add value to ourselves, and most importantly to the eyes of our father Almighty? Wisdom.
I’ll leave you the following Bible verses, to remind us each time we lean to becoming indifferent and for our self evaluation.
Proverbs 27:21 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition 21 As silver is tried in the fining-pot and gold in the furnace: so a man is tried by the mouth of him that praiseth. The heart of the wicked seeketh after evils, but the righteous heart seeketh after knowledge.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 New Living Translation 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
Psalm 37:7-9 EasyEnglish Bible 7 Be patient as you wait for the Lord to help you. Trust him to bring help. Do not become upset when bad people seem to do well, when their wicked ideas really happen. 8 Do not become angry or upset! It will only bring trouble for you. 9 Wicked people will disappear one day! But people who trust the Lord for help will live safely in the land that he has given to them.
Psalm 100:3-5 EasyEnglish Bible 3 Understand that the Lord is God. He made us and we are his people. He takes care of us, like a shepherd with his sheep. 4 Thank him as you go through the gates into his temple. Praise him as you stand in his temple yards.[a] Thank him and praise him as he deserves! 5 Yes, the Lord is good. He always loves us as his people. He always does what he has promised to us and to our descendants for ever.
Job 11:13-15 Contemporary English Version Surrender Your Heart to God
13 Surrender your heart to God, turn to him in prayer, 14 and give up your sins— even those you do in secret. 15 Then you won't be ashamed; you will be confident and fearless.
1 Corinthians 15:56-58 New International Version 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
1 Corinthians 16:13-14 English Standard Version 13 Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. 14 Let all that you do be done in love.
