Hello!! I want you to know that I followed you for your cereal bowl identification on that long homestuck post!
What's your favorite bowl?
Haha hi! Certainly an interesting way to meet someone on the internet eh?
Now, are we talking fav bowl in general? East Fork specifically? (Since that was identified in the homestuck post)
I actually do have some East Fork pieces, their Everyday Bowls have become a favorite for their versatility. Also they make any meal feel fancy :P
Really a fan of bowls in general, although my expertise seems to lie with select ceramics specifically since I'm addicted to collecting ceramics.
Some honorable mentions are Mud Witch matcha bowls and Lail Design ramen bowls.
Another fav bowl happens to be because my partner started a trend of drinking water from bowls instead of cups at a friend's house to mess with him; I tried it out of curiosity and can recommend, although admittedly the element of goof elevates the experience. The bowls in question? Those cheap, generic plastic bowls you can get at Target. Something about the thin material combined with the shallow curve makes it nice to drink out of. Plus they're affordable and come in seasonal colors.
And now, may I ask: do you have any favorite bowls?

Pink Lemonade Gingham
So, despite the simplicity of this design, it took me quite a while to get here!
First, I went to the challenge collaborator's website, East Fork, to see what their brand was like. A lot of minimalism and nice pottery- not my normal thing, but I can work with it. After some brainstorming , I decided I wanted a 'glazed' effect, as if the fabric itself was a piece of pottery.
Guys, it took me WAY LONGER than I will ever admit to get this down. I knew I needed a golden-brown rim on the edges of the 'glaze' to sell the illusion, but it took...many, many tries to make something that didn't look completely fake. So many tries! But I'm glad I went through the effort, because I think the slight rim helps the two shades stand out from each other- they're quite close in value, at least on the monitor.
Okay, I had my effect down. I then proceed to make twelve designs because all my ideas were simple, so why not do them all? As you can imagine, this made choosing one more difficult than it needed to be. To add to the situation, the Spoonflower editor didn't read a couple of the designs properly? They just showed up as a cream rectangle. I've never had this kind of problem before, and unfortunately I had run out of time so I couldn't troubleshoot it. I ended up picking my favorite gingham design- who doesn't love pink lemonade?- and hoped it landed.
So far, it seems to be doing okay! I'm very happy it worked out, despite the issues I had. That said, at some point I'm going to post the rest of the designs, just to show you all what happens when I don't stop.
You can vote here on Spoonflower. Thank you!

Playing a text adventure through DMs with a friend who's actually running the game via their relaying of everything between you and the program is kind of like gay sex; if you have very permissive definitions of 'gay', 'sex', 'like' and 'definitions'.
#my thoughts#Dead end#You are at a dead end of a dirt road.#The road goes to the east.#In the distance you can see that it will eventually fork off.#The trees here are very tall royal palms and they are spaced equidistant from each other.#There is a shovel here.#>#(thats not really a proposition i just like emacs)

First time putting any of my designs here, but I'm really excited about entering it into one of Spoonflower's design challenges!!
The challenge was to use a limited color palette matching East Fork Pottery's glaze colors, and create a design that would work for a table linen. (Also, East Fork is an amazing company just FYI)
There are sooooo many beautiful and unique designs!!! You can use this link here to vote. It is a great way to support designers and artists for free!
#vote for me!!! j/k vote for what you like#Design Challenge#digital art#artblr#East Fork Pottery#Spoonflower

Bowl identification:
East Fork soup bowl in either Eggshell or Panna Cotta, featuring the brass flatware available on their website; Lucky Charms.
funny phrases to use when something goes wrong instead of jokingly saying "i'm going to kms":
i'm going to kill god
i'm going to delete my blog
i'm going to explode
i'm going to blow up this entire website
i'm going to become the joker
this is going to be my villain origin story
feel free to add on

My last night in my legendary apartment! WHERE IT ALL BEGAN!!!
#Dec 19. 2019#Xmas#Enjoying my final stay in my legendary “Terrors of the Night” apartment. I've lived around since then but I miss this place...#It was perfect for me. Facing east so I would have natural light all day but no sunset glare in the evenings...#3rd and top floor so no one above me for smoke and no neighboring balcony for privacy...#You could walk out in the middle of the afternoon butt ass naked because I had lattice covering the balcony railing. It was dope...#I haven't felt truly at home since then even though I had technically been evicted for noise...#Didn't even get to throw a farewell party because I had gotten my notice earlier this day and was given 2 days to get my shit out...#I have realized apartments are just not for me anyway hahahah...#The memories here. One time I locked myself out on the balcony in the middle of the night and had to scale down 3 floors...#So then I learned how to pick locks and tried it again on purpose in order to free myself just for fun...#The time I crawled out of my (massive master bedroom) window and shimmied across the roof ledge back to my balcony as a dare...#Would have been a 3 story fall...#At this point I had already filmed “Sleepwalker” and “Training Night” but it was only this day I finally made my YouTube channel “Jason Vi”#Truth is this was a time that I was at a fork in the road and it was a bit depressing leaving this place. It had gotten me off the street..#That was then and this is now...#Subscribe. You are not ready...
