Toddler Terrans (1/?) - Malto Terrans

Terrans as a species are born from stone eggs created inside of Emberstone pools. They "hatch" in sizes reaching from a human toddler to a young child. Terrans who are born together are biological siblings.

The "toddler phase" is short. It's even shorter for this new generation due to the post-war era they are born into, to increase their odds in survival.

Earthspark AU

Deep in the GHOST facility, a government military special ops team went down to scout and uncover any other secrets GHOST was keeping after the events of season 1.

Or I made an animatic for my season 2 au introducing my take on Sari Sumdac, daughter of Unicron and the Earth, being introduced. Because I really wanted to do this and I had fun despite how long it took me. lol

Through the power of dimensional travel, I WILL make both KOBD and Breakbee coexist.

Here’s my idea (not sure if I’m going to write it as a fanfic, but I like it enough to share):

During a space/groundbridge incident, TFP Knockout and Breakdown from another dimension are pulled into Earthspark. They soon flee after seeing the sight of so many Autobots

Eventually though, the Maltos + Megatron (since they are “Decepticons”, they think they might listen to Megatron) track them down and explain they just want to send them home. But surprise… it turns out Knockout and Breakdown actually really like the ES dimension even more than their own.

They were already on the run from the Decepticons in their own world after Breakdown nearly died, they both already like earth and don’t mind staying, and they find the idea of being able to actually make a life outside of war appealing. Since medics are desperately needed, even with the few remaining still working, they are allowed to stay in Witwicky and even give medical help with the kids when needed.

Ideas!

they are their usual selves with everyone else, but when they hear about the Terrans they go absolutely soft. They’re the rich aunties now, and will not be hearing otherwise (this includes Mo and Robby too, once they find out they’re family.)

They get along with Alex and Dot well, since they genuinely care for the kids and just want a life outside of war. (Breakdown admits they did awful things at some point, expecting the humans to recoil, but Dot says “My best friend is Megatron, I know many Cons who made mistakes. But everyone deserves their second chance.”)

Knockout notices ES Bee has been looking at him weird, sees ES Breakdown and Bee together for five minutes, and goes “I’m gonna set them up”. This breakdown deserves a happy relationship too, and Knockout can see how close ES Breakdown is with Bee since he’s already married his own Breakdown, so he ends up giving bee the perfect advice to finally confess. Or he messes with him, 50/50 really.

TFP Breakdown is the best babysitter when Bee is away, since he actually knows how to handle younglings very well. ES Breakdown sees this as competition for HIS Bee, and there’s a lot of silly shenanigans around it until TFP BD goes “pfft, I already got a conjunx, and I’m already with someone wayyy above your Bee”

This is how the Terrans learn what a conjunx is, and react the same way most kids do to learning what marriage is (curious but also going “ew! Kissing!”)

Knockout isn’t a great babysitter because he spoils the kids rotten. He needs Breakdown supervision at least so the kids don’t gain an extra pound from sweets lol

Knockout and Breakdown stay in Witwicky because it’s a nice change of scenery, and because they need to be under the supervision of Autobots until they can be fully trusted. They do sneak off for dates sometimes, but over time the bots just get used to it

At some point TFP KOBD and Breakbee go on a double date on a racing track. ES Breakdown is horrified to learn his alternate is slow as fuck. Luckily Knockout can match them for speed, and have a good time with TFP Breakdown on the sidelines offering coolant to the racers (and kisses for good luck for his Conjunx).

Basically this is a wish fulfillment au where Knockout and Breakdown can live happily while in the more wholesome Earthspark universe (until the horrors come for the Terrans again)

The Malto Terrans' jobs in Witwicky Town post-events of Book 1, Family:

Twitch - She'd work with the town's postage. She likes to fly around, and getting the parcels delivered safely on time improves her speed and agility. She even gets to know every townspeople.

Thrash - He joins the park rangers. Thrash is the best out of his siblings in trekking the woods and managing wild animals. His white paintjob is also easy for people to spot him.

Hashtag - Joins the town's radio station for obvious reasons. There, she learns many other ways to communicate with others besides via the internet and improve her social skills.

Jawbreaker - He helps out the farmers, mostly his neighbour with the cows. The farm animals see him as a friend and protector. His favourite time is basking under the sun with them. Sometimes Grimlock would join in.

Nightshade - Joins the town's high school robotics team and a storyteller for the town's library. The team wants to build a real DeLorean time traveling car, but every one of them, Nightshade included, have caused a small fire in the lab at least once. The fire station is keeping a keen eye on them all.

EARTHSPARK AU!!!!!

since it's not a full AU, i'll write what i'm thinking right now

the reason why hot rodimus' eyes are purple wasn't a design choice, as you know, those who use dark energone mostly become dead zombies while those who are alive become stronger and more aggressive

hot rod is killed by megatron in this universe as in the idw series.

and matrix of chaos is a thing that exists in this universe

galvatron finds hot rod's dead body (it may change) and for some reason gives him matrix of chaos (the reason for giving it is because hot rod is the "chosen one", i could do it but i don't know) and rodimus comes back to life, not hot rod, rodimus returns

something happens, he meets bumblebee etc. i haven't thought about the rest, the scene you see right now is rodimus meeting megatron (after hot rod's death)

He's a silly "redeemed villain" type guy. He's not the wholesome kind like Megatron though, he's kind of crazy.

If anyone has watched httyd: race to the edge, he's like dagger in his redemption. Like- still really crazy and violent but uses meditation and silly mantras to stay calm. I love him.

Piston's relationship/opinions of everyone on Earthspark :

Megatron:

Yay Grandpa! He's incredibly soft on the baby, this is the future generation he was fighting for and they're just so vibrantly alive. Isn't bothered by how or why they're so big from the jump, He's the only one who can hold them like the baby that they are. Although, he does over induge their curiosity about the war, one too many war stories with colorful descriptions for the baby.

Piston feels safe and excited to see him! Creators are uneasy about how much Piston praises Megatron but allow it to continue.

Optimus:

Bark! Bark! Bark! Get away old man! This is the future generation he was fighting for? Hmmmmm. He does not like how Piston divides Bee's attention from his work, or how the baby almost offline him. He's polite, but curt. He removed Piston’s Decepticon fangs without Bee's permission and in general is not physically gentle with them. He sees their large personality as something Bee is incapable of controlling and steps in to do it himself.

Piston sees how Bee stiffens up when Optimus is around and doesn't like it at all. They don't fully understand Bee and Optimus' relationship with each other, they just know it upsets Bee when he's around. There's this hard tension in the air and it makes them feel nervous. It's on sight after the teeth incident.

Dorthy:

Any friend of Megatron is a friend to Piston! She's no stranger to larger robot children and Piston is no different. She finds them amusing, they're like a big puppy who listens when she tells them to settle down. She notices Bee's discontent in them beginning and offers her own parental wisdom. She sees how Optimus treats Piston and doesn't care for that at all. She makes a point to speak to them one on one when they visit, so they don't feel so lost in the crowd of kids.

Piston likes her! She's very nice to them and they like her stories! She's like Megatron, but smaller.

Alex:

Yay Alex! Alex is so fascinated by the baby! He cried the first time he met them, a Cybertronian child? Here? Right in front of him?! He was a little too invasive when he found out Bee was carrying, strictly in the name of research of course. Bee was uneasy at first but ultimately relented when he realized there was something wrong with his carrying and it should be properly documented. Alex took up to sketching the baby, a great way to get them to sit still while he told them about the history of Cybertron. He the first to notice there's something up with Piston, they don't play with toys like the other kids do. (Turns out Bee threw out all the developmental toys thinking a larger mech wouldn't need those, ooops)

Piston loves Alex! He knows so much about Cybertron and tells them things Megatron doesn't fully remember, weather patterns, animal life, art and music. They hold him all the time and lowkey like spending time with him more than the other kids.

Robbie/Moe:

Two for one special, they know of Piston but don't really know them. At first they thought it was cool there's another kid around but Piston almost stepped on them a couple of times. They notice Piston isn't like a Terran kid and assume they're different because they're fully Cybertronian.

Piston knows Robbie and Moe are Dorthy and Alex's kids but they don't know what to do with them. To Piston, they don't offer much on terms of stories. They're nice to the kids but are unsure on how to interact with them.

Twitch:

She can fly?! She's so excited to meet Piston and delighted they like her back! She hovers around them and Piston will try to join in. Twitch is a little jealous when they get their alt mode so quickly and easily. Maybe it's because they're fully Cybertronian, she quietly compares herself to all their milestones. She brings it up to Dorthy who talks her out of the spiral. In the end, she's happy to have a new friend and Bee's baby to boot!

Piston, easily impressed by anyone who is 1) Red and 2) can fly! They're always chasing after her and trying to fly too! They develop a "butterfly flap" where they're involuntarily fanning their wings like a butterfly.

Thrash:

Let's go!!!! These two crash through walls together! Thrash is always down for adventure despite being a bit timid. Piston has no impulse control and so Thrash has the older brother roll. He likes them! They're really fun! Two peas in a pod they're always up to something! If he had to complain he doesn't like how they'll pick him up without warning.

Piston loves Thrash, they do almost everything together! (Piston is not invited to combat training)

Hashtag:

Hmmmmm. She was also excited to meet Piston but that went away when they showed zero interest in her. She tried to get to know them but always felt excluded. She wishes she could be friends with them but doesn't want to push it.

Piston doesn't like her. She's not fun like Twitch or Thrash and talks about things they don't care about.

Nightshade:

You have beautiful eyes!/ref. Nightshade is pleasantly suprised there's another they/them around but that's about it. They try to get Piston involved with what they like but baby just blinks at them. Still, they do their best to be involved with them.

Piston wants to like Nightshade, they're both green! But what in Sweet Solus Prime are you talking about? They're alittle too smart for Piston to keep up with.

Jawbreaker:

Imagine a dog jumping around your legs and yapping. That's how Jawbreaker sees Piston. They're very loud and constantly making noise. He wants to join in with Thrash and Piston but those two can be alittle too rough. He likes sitting and listening about Cybertron with them, they're much calmer then.

Piston is confused by their alt mode, it's perfect for crashing through things yet he's so selective about it? Huh. Piston tries to get him involved but gives up quickly when he's reluctant.

Elita:

"Bee are you sure about this?" Elita has complicated feelings about Piston. On one hand, that's Bee sparkling and reminds her so much of him. On the other hand, that's a Decepticon sparkling and they cause so many problems. She's more inclined to agree with Optimus, but not a fan of his methods. She also doesn't like how Bee refuses to teach them anything about combat training. She keeps her distance and when she does talk to them it's with a stern voice of authority.

Piston doesn't like her proximity to Optimus but Bee doesn't get tense around her so maybe she's okay? They are unsure but do they're best to be respectful to her. If she spoke to them more about Cybertron they'd relax alittle.

Arcee:

Yay fun lady! She doesn't respect Bee's "no combat training" rule and with rough house with them on the regular. She doesn't get why Optimus is so bothered by this kid, they're a kid! Kids are like this! She's the only one who can tire the baby out and enjoys being around them.

Piston likes her! She has fun stories and is strong enough to fist fight with!

Wheeljack:

"Hold that flashlight will ya?" He's not that interested in the sparkling, not a big fan of their Sire. He sees them hanging around with Twitch and is polite. They don't seem to understand what he's talking about. After an incident in the lab, they can only stand at the door frame. Funnily enough, Wheeljack is where Piston picks up most of their Cybertronian. He talks to himself in that language while working and baby is a fast learner.

Piston wants to know what he's up to but technical things really aren't in the baby's wheelhouse. They've broken some things and are scared to do it again.

Starscream:

Yay Starscream! Who's Red and can fly? Starscream. Who's large and in charge? Starscream. Who does whatever he wants? Starscream. Who doesn't like this big green thing but sees use in its utility? Starscream. He over indulges Piston with war stories and cultivates their disdain for Autobots. They could be useful one day.

Piston is obsessed with Starscream. He's so red! So fast! He can fly! He's so funny! He's always there in all the stories, he can't lose! Piston being a big baby with no understanding of nuance sees him as the coolest mech alive. Both Creators do not like this and actively forbid them from talking about him.

Soundwave:

Mr. Soundwave!!!! Soundwave is the first to know about Piston’s Sonic Scream ability. He tells no one. When Bee installed the block on Piston, he didn't realize his baby had that until it was too late. Soundwave genuinely cares for Piston, a young Cybertronian on an alien planet with a complicated family dynamic? Tragic. If only he could get this baby to where they belong.

Piston likes Soundwave, he's very nice! They don't get why others are afraid of him.

Breakdown:

His pride and joy. His sweetest heart. As someone who spent his whole life with nothing of his own, not his body not even his mind, this is something that belongs to him. Nobody is taking this away from him. Everything he did, was done to him, led him here, to his sparkling and he wouldn't change anything. Although, he will admit, he worries about their behavior. Anything bad his sparkling does is inevitably his fault and they do it quite alot. He quietly corrects them, he doesn't want to crush their spirit. He wishes he could keep them away from Megatron but the baby is headstrong. Breakdown catches himself staring at them, they move so much like Bee, their smile and laugh is a one for one. He wishes he could see less of himself in his sparkling, maybe people wouldn't be able to guess he's the Sire.

Piston loves Sire, they want to be just like him! He's not home as much as Bee but when he is it's nothing but joy, mostly. He's so cool and fast and a Combiner?! Piston wants to be a Combiner! (They'd be terrible at it) They love the old combat videos Starscream gave them of Menasor, they wish he'd talk about it more. They follow him around and try to emulate everything he does.

Bumblebee:

Now that the war is over, Bee planned out his own life and what it would mean to be his own mech. He spent alot of time alone to think about it and he really does want a family. Too bad he got a big one on his first try. He loves his sparkling but is too emotionally constipated to express it. Bee desperately wants to hold his baby, to leave all this behind and simply be. But he can't. Still Optimus' right hand man he's torn between work and family life. He fusses over Piston, they cause so many problems but he refuses to break their will. Nobody is going to take this away from him. However he is firm, he will correct their behavior and knows how his little family looks from the outside. He could use a good cry. He installed a block on Piston so they couldn't access their combat mode until they were old enough to learn about it. Bee didn't want to, but a baby bigger and faster than him with a Stinger is a recipe for disaster.

Piston wishes Carry wasn't so tired all the time. When it's just the three of them it's good, for the most part. (They hear their Creators arguing when they're supposed to be powered down) Piston doesn't like how Bee fusses over them, they have to stand still while he waxes their frame top to bottom for events. So many endless events Bee has to go to, and by virtue Piston has to go to. Bee talks non stop on what to do, how to do it, what not to do and the list is endless. They don't like how others treat Bee and are a bit defensive. There are quiet moments where it's just the two of them and Bee will relax, ever so slightly. They wish he'd say yes to going back to Cybertron with Sire, he doesn't seem happy here.
